Deep in the heart of the underground beneath the Quiet Plains, under a mountain of dirt and the cold steel plated walls of the base, Chill sat monitoring business on Namek. With Boreal dead and no one to succeed as the current head of the counter operations on Namek, that left Chill to fulfill the lost Lord's duties given his succession to Boreal in other positions. Stultified by his tedious tasks, Chill clicked on the only interesting memo he'd gotten all day.
You are to travel to the Research and Development Division of the Quiet Plains Outpost, and oversee Director Bosmika's new technological development. Assess if proposed weapon is suitable for mass production, if not discuss other possible applications. - Communications Officer Peare.
Looking over the profile the fleet had in regards to the good doctor, Chill surmised that there were a number of other topics of conversation that were of importance or that he might slip into conversation while they discussed the contents of Project Destron. Throwing on his yellow cloak and quickly polishing his gemstones, Chill made haste down to the R&D Division of the base to see what Bosmika had made.
Pressing his hand against the scanner on the wall, he followed with a code sequence and finalized the input with retinal scanning and a vocal confirmation. With something as top secret as their weapons development, it was of the utmost importance that everything within remain at the highest level of secrecy. As the metal door slid open down the middle, Chill walked into the laboratory and turned to address Bosmika.
"Dr. Bosmika. It is good to see a fellow Director has been working as hard as I have. I hear with your recent return after the... less than fortunate demise of Lord Boreal, you have developed an impressive new weapon. Would you care to show me?"
Lets do some unethical science Sorry for the iffy starter, wanted to get this thread off before sleeep

Bosmika's PL: 24,000 Ever since Boreal’s death, along that with Chamil’s, Bosmika has been getting back into the swing of things. Luckily her betrayal to Lord Boreal has been left unnoticed; nobody suspected her of anything. The only piece of evidence she had was merely a missing pill intended for Boreal, which acted as one of her text experiments she conducted whenever she first landed. It was one of her many experiments that were considered successful; the pill managed to help Chamil during her battle with the arcosian, but sadly it wasn’t enough for her to survive. She appeared to have died giving Boreal everything she had, but even if she died, something else would arise: Horns.
Ever since she discovered the child, she’s pledged to make sure that she remained safe, and whoever touched her would be given no mercy. She was a tad bit overprotective if it wasn’t obvious enough, and also had a valid reason to be; this was Chamil’s child and she must make sure that NO harm comes to her and that she doesn’t die. But even if she has to take care of a child now (who wasn’t really fond of the Fleet), she still had to continue working. Bosmika didn’t hate the Fleet, but instead hated Boreal… so now that he’s dead, she shall return to work!
The first thing she did was to continue fixing a machine she recently found. It was broken beyond recognition, but as she got to dusting it off and whatnot, she immediately got to work. It took about a few days until she managed to fix it, recording her findings into a computer and labeling her "Project DESTRON”. Upon doing that however, she was soon notified that someone will be coming to watch her test the machine. Bosmika was pleased to hear this, immediately going ahead and setting up everything; she gathered a few lowly grunts and placed them into a room, informing them that they will be undergoing an ‘enhancement’. She placed heart monitors on each of the participants, who luckily didn’t question a single thing; believing that they were actually going to achieve the enhancements Bosmika promised.
Little did they know, her fingers were crossed during the promise.
Anywho, once everything was set, she would wait for the person to arrive. It didn’t take long until she heard the door leading into her lab opened, a wide grin forming on the alien’s face as she went and greeted the arcosian. “You must be that person who was going to watch my experiment. Good, gooood. I will gladly show you!” Bosmika immediately said, immediately turning away from Chill before walking over to a window, which peered into the room where the grunts were waiting.
“I’ve managed to set up a machine within the room. It releases a gas called “destron”, a gas which weakens an individual’s fighting capabilities. In high doses, I believe it could also lead to death… which I haven’t tested yet.” She chuckled before tapping the glass. “In this room you will see some Fleet grunts. While I would use namekians, I believe we should keep our peace amongst them if we were to… say, look for the dragon balls. But anyway, shall we begin the test?” Bosmika asked, taking out a small metallic box with a red button on it from her labcoat.

The little furry creature was certainly interesting in the way she held herself and sounded, with the wide grin on her face betraying her pride in her work. Chill nodded and followed after her, peering into the room before him. He saw a line of various bipedal alien races, fully geared up in heart monitors and other sensory devices. They stood at the ready, and it seemed the couldn't peer back at the two directors through the glass.
Chill shared her grin as she explained what she was doing, suddenly much more drawn into the situation. Watching intently at the men he pondered if her theory was correct, and even gave a little chuckle when she mentioned why she had elected to betray some of their own soldiers in order to test. "Hohoho. What the natives don't know won't hurt them, Doctor." His gaze was fixated on the warriors, the calm nerves of their breathing, the idle conversations they held with one another... so unsuspecting.
While he stared, the back of his mind wandered to other thoughts, briefly examining Bosmika's commentary and it's involvement of the Dragon Balls. They had not precisely been Chill's own priority in coming here, but he definitely saw the value in a wish over that of letting the Saiyan Kingdom get it. Did Bosmika have her own reasons to search for them? Chill would ask later, and turned back to where his attention had been aimed moments before.
Biting his tongue in anticipation, he stayed fixed through the glass and nodded. "I think we shouldn't put the efforts of our volunteers to waste... Let's begin the test."

Scallio: He'd spent his entire childhood with space right outside his window. He watched for years as planets came and went like the seasons. One of two constants in his world of continuous change.
