"I'd rather they didn't go into combat at all!" Saiba retorted, rubbing her forehead between her finger and thumb exasperatedly. It was fitting that this humanoid was feline in appearance... they were just as much bother as a typical Earth cat from what she understood of the creatures! The blonde Shinjin patiently listened to both sides, the human claiming that the magic cloud came to him and followed him to his campsite, whilst the feline humanoid claimed to be this Senbyo who was apparently the highest spiritual authority on Earth and the cloud along with something else were his sacred artefacts, or rather the positions artefacts.
She perked an eyebrow at this notion before deciding to try a new tactic. "Alright, so let's clear the air here then shall we and stop fighting." she ordered, allowing some of her godliness into her voice in order to get the message across. If this Senbyo really was the highest spiritual authority on Earth, then they should recognise the divine power that was a Shinjin... in theory right? But that wasn't what Saiba was going to try and get these mortals to try out. No, something far more simple than that. "If this kinto'un really was stolen from you, and is yours by traditional right, then it should be able to return to you of its own free will correct?" the blonde Shinjin inquired of the blue feline.
Saiba turned her attention to the human next. "And if you really didn't steal it and it came to you of its own volition, then it should be able to do so again, correct?" the Shinjin asked, wondering which of them would grasp her little plan here first. She gave them both a moment to gather their thoughts and hopefully quit fighting one another for her plan to try and start taking shape. "What I propose is simple. We place the cloud in the middle of you two, equal distances apart say about ten feet or so, and whoever the cloud goes to of its own free will shall be allowed to keep it, until such a time as it chooses to change its mind." she said, looking at both of the males sternly for those last two parts.
"Does that seem fair and reasonable, since both of you can agree at least on the fact that the cloud has a mind and will of its own?" Saiba inquired of the pair.
