The Sheriff was currently helping unload a truck from the small town he worked out of in the Mountains farther north. The semi truck's trailer loaded with freshly cut logs, most of them as long as the trailer itself being unloaded by a combination of equipment and the Saiyan himself hefting two or three at a time, then dumping them in line for the lumber mill. Rolling shoulders, the veteran fighter stopped for a moment to chat with the driver of the semi. "Aight Dave, suppose that's about that. Need help gettin' back?" The lumber driver had quite the impressive beard, but shook his head. "Nah Sheriff, all we needed was help gettin' it unloaded." The two exchanged a brief, solid handshake before the Saiyan wandered off with a hand raised in farewell.
He walked, grabbing street food and drink on the way. It was a long driver from his small lumber and mining town up in the stoney mountains. As with any Saiyan, he swiftly downed half a dozen hot dogs and an equal amount of burgers. Anyone that doesn't like sour krout on their dogs needs a brain check. Munching as the tall fighter made his way along the streets, partly keeping an ear and eye on the populace. The world had very swiftly become a scary place the last few months, seems the arrival of the Saiyan Kingdom was some sort of catalyst for chaos. In any of the Cities, no matter what direction they were named after or Central, he'd wind up at the police station. Getting a few nods from uniformed officers, the duster clad Sheriff dipped his own hat covered head. Walking up to the wanted, missing, and information board in the main lobby. Crossing arms over broad chest as eyes lazily scanned up and down. As the, far as he knew, only ki using law man on Earth; a lot of work ended up on his plate in regards to everything from natural disasters to handling criminals. Thumbs hooking into scarlet sash around his waist. Even as the hustle and bustle of the station's lobby behind him continued on with officers coming and going, paperwork being worked, and as of yet no civilians or other such people talking to the officer at the entry desk.

The screeching of tires and roar of a motorcycle engine announce a new arrival just outside the station. After a few moments of idling, the engine - needlessly loud to the point that it's audible even over the bustle inside the station - cuts out. Soon after, a woman steps inside, rather easily identified as the driver given the black biker vest she's wearing. In a word, she looks... cross. Something clearly isn't going her way. She steps up to the first desk, brandishing what appears to be a speeding ticket in her right hand. Setting it down on the desk in front of the officer on duty, she crosses her arms and lets out a huff.
"I got pulled over for nothing!" she complains, gesturing down to the ticket she'd just set down. Before the officer can reply to her, she launches into her story. "I was minding my own business on my way into this city and one of your guys was all like, 'I've had a boring day today so I'm going to pull you over and start talking about how you're going too fast'. But I wasn't going too fast! I was going a perfectly normal speed!"
Whatever might be going through the guard's mind at this point, the woman wasn't quite done with her exposition. She took one long step back from the counter and gestured back to the door, pointing at where she'd parked her bike. "I mean, I know you guys have a rough job and I don't want to be that one really annoying customer -- er, citizen -- who runs in and complains about everything, but I really think there was a mistake! Besides, I uh -- don't have any zeni to my name right now, really..." she clears her throat and tries to offer a bright smile over to the officer she'd been talking to. "So can I maybe get the ticket waived if I apologize?"

GP awoke in the same place as he did the night before. He awoke from standby mode in front of a bargain electronics store with three TV sets in it's display window. He had been using these to gather information on the earthlings, using the one that kept the news channel on at all hours. His favorite channel however was on the set next to the news playing set that had on all forms of police dramas and so on. He enjoyed watching these shows so much in fact that he often found himself neglecting to gather info at all. The owner of the store had asked him what he was up to multiple times, but he was always met with GP claiming it was "Galactic Patrol official business". Usually he would have called the authorities to help remove him, but seeing as the robot meant no harm, and stopped a robbery he'd let him slide.
As he arose he decided today was the big day that he finally made first contact with the law of Earth. "Come in GSC, this is GPB Unit 50-95. I am heading towards the nearest police station to make first contact. I hope they will understand our situation of shared jurisdiction." GP said this out loud attracting attention from nearby pedestrians. As a prototype he lacks the ability to use communication devices silently, instead using them as if he was human. "Copy that Unit 50-95, make your report before standby mode engages dude. GSC over annnd out." The voice from his supervisor belonged to a rookie named Sheen. They had assigned him to GP seeing as they both were a bit well idiotic.
As he walked GP checked his reflection in the windows of buildings on the sidewalk. He had to make sure this first impression was good for the sake of all life on Earth. Fate had something else in mind unfortunately as sirens echoed throughout the streets about a block from where GP stood. He engaged his leg mounted thrusters and took off towards the alarm, turning on his yellow and red sirens which popped onto his shoulder plates. When he arrived on the scene he witnessed that it was a bank being robbed by five heavily armed men. People ran down the steps from the entrance the rest were trapped inside as the robbers barricaded it. A man popped up onto the roof of the building with a megaphone in hand. He wore a ski mask dyed pink with pink bunny ears sowed onto it.
"LISTEN UP NORTH CITY WE'RE THE BUNNY BANDITS, AND WE'RE HERE TO ROB YOU'RE LITTLE MOUNTAIN TOWN! DON'T PUT UP A FIGHT AND EVERYONE GETS OUT ALIVE!" The bunny bandit's leader shouted. "WE'LL GIVE OUR DEMANDS ONCE THE FUZZ SHOWS UP." He walked back inside from the roof access. GP landed and deployed a barricade from his chest. It stretched out about 10 feet and was solid concrete. He then deployed from his wrists yellow caution tape from the barricade to the streetlights to close off the area. He crouched behind the barricade and called up 911. He hoped they'd at least be impressed by his crime scene setup.
"Yes this is...GP. There is a code 211 currently in progress. Any assistance would be highly appreciated."

Rough, worn and scarred metal hand set on the biker woman's shoulder. The towering veteran giving her an easy smile. "Now miss, ain't no way to be chattin' the boy in blue. There's enough prollems goin' on right now without adding in your ticket." Hand plucked it up, and the Sheriff dipped a hand into his duster. Pulling out a pen and making a few quick scribbles before passing it back to her. "I commandeered this woman's bike for business, her ticket is nulled as she was Deputized for the time being." He gave the girl a 'let's keep this between us friend' wink.
An audible shuffle changed the entire tempo of the room, from barely contained chaos to absolute quiet besides quick mumbles and mutters. "211, Bank." Were the key words, the Sheriff giving Ramen a quick once over. "Ya pretty strong kid, you really wanna help pay that ticket off I'll really Deputize you for the next half hour to handle a bank robbery." He didn't have time to wait, sprinting outside and taking off in the same second he was free of walls. Soaring over the town, a few chats to his wrist comm had the rest of the force understand the procedure. Slamming to the street, right next to a rather well built police barricade. "Did we have a unit in the area already? We never get engineer units this far North. Let alone that fast." The replies on the radio were equal confusion, up until The Sheriff saw a giant robot man directing the area.
"Huh, not bad mate." The cowboy attired warrior said in appreciation, giving GPD a solid thump on the side with his equally metal fist. "Dang, you must be some new model or whats it eh? Guess they're tryina to replace my old ass." The Saiyan tapped the sheriff's badge on his duster, up in the north a Sheriff was close to being what accounted for as a Commissioner for all the distant towns and villages without dedicated forces. Rough, gravelly tone having lost it's bit of amusement as dark eyes checked over the bank. "Report."

Ramen grins as she looks down at the scribbled-over ticket, flashing a thumbs-up over her shoulder to the man that gave it to her. She quickly pocketed it before anyone could tell her otherwise, skipping back to the desk to offer her quick apologies to the first officer she annoyed. She turned around upon hearing the Sheriff’s proposal, but didn’t accept right away. Instead, she made a show of having to think it over, tapping her chin and ‘hmm’-ing audibly… but as the man ran out in a rush, her little show wasn’t going to work. She let out a huff at that, taking off in pursuit.
She was just about to launch herself into the air after her new partner before she spotted the red of her motorcycle out of the corner of her eye, sitting there on the edge of the road. She ran back to the door of the station, opening it enough to call in. “-Hey, officers! Make sure nobody touches my bike! It’s really expensive!”
Having wasted time already, she couldn’t exactly wait to be given an affirmative by any of the officers before taking off. She was a little surprised at the notion of a police officer being able to fly like that, but she didn’t question it. Maybe people in North City were just a little different. All the same, she took off into the air to begin her chase. She couldn’t quite make up for the lost time at the relatively modest speed with which she was able to fly, and only managed to catch up to the Sheriff once he’d already landed. She took a moment to assess the situation from the air before dropping to the ground next to the barricade. She flashed a grin up to the robotic patroller. “Why, hello there!” she greets with a little wink. “I’m Deputy Ramen! … or something. How can I help you in bringing order to this disorderly situation?”

If GP had face muscles he would have a shocked expression on his face. Before him was the real deal, a sheriff and what seemed to be his deputy flying into action. After being praised by his fellow officer GP short circuited a bit, his voice module trying to spit out his field report to the man. "T-there seems to be five heavily armed men inside with multiple hostages. They have yet to make demands but threaten to kill off hostages if they become opposed. They call themselves the Bunny Bandits." GP audibly took a deep breath of air after giving in his observations, not that he needed to breath. The sheriff's badge was authentic and his serious appearance made GP feel like he was in a TV show. His deputy on the other hand didn't seem to be a officer from the way she spoke and her casual outfit. Maybe she was off duty and rushed to the scene? either way she seemed strong and capable, there was no sign of worry on either of the two's faces.
"I am a Galactic Patrolmen assigned to Earth, I was on my way to make first contact with the police force when I stumbled across this. My recommended course of action is to hit them with tear gas and subdue the "perps". GP was having the time of his life, even using the slang he picked up from TV. He equipped himself with his energy rifle and looked to his allies. He knew he could handle this situation easily but he'd hate to over step and not listen to the more experienced lawmen's opinion.
"LISTEN HERE CHUMPS!" A pink masked man was once again on the roof with a megaphone. "IF YOU WANT THESE PEOPLE BACK SAFE YOU'D BETTER LISTEN UP AND GIVE US WHAT WE CAME HERE FOR! WE NEED A SAFE TRANSPORT FROM HERE IN AN UNMARKED VAN, AND EVERY CRATE OF CARROTS IN THIS STINKING TOWN!" is voice was serious, but his demands were ridiculous. GP not knowing any better thought that these carrots he spoke of must be of extreme value.
If Kail and Ramen agreed to go with GP's plan he would launch tear gas grenades through the windows of the bank.
If they wished to take a different path GP would follow their orders without hesitation.

The Sheriff was both pleased, by a highly capable officer, and by the girl following up to help. He always did pride himself on having a good eye for people. "Excellent job Big G." Yes, 'Big G' is what he's going to be calling the tall robot from now on. The Sheriff lifted his cybernetic hand, pointing out two windows on the upper floor, and three on the lower. "I have a flash bang dispenser built into my arm. Drop your smoke where you think you should, I'll pop the party favors at the entry way. I'm lead, you're second." The Sheriff unraveled the sash around his waist, tossing it to Ramen as he draped his similar colored scarf around his face to cover nose and mouth. "Your tail kid, anyone holding a gun get's put down. Same for you G, us Northerners don't ride soft."
He held up his cybernetic limb, silently mouthing a count down to himself. Hostage situations had timing be the most important. What kind of idiots were these? His own presence wasn't exactly a secret, most knew there was a Saiyan Sheriff. "Oh, and thanks for coming with, Deputy." Kail said with an added bit of teasing to the woman. "We make it through this, I might just hire the both of you." What, good help was hard to find.
"Oh, almost forgot. I'm Sheriff Valliere, you two can call me Kail, anyone with enough balls to do this so quick is welcome to." Hand ruffled up Ramen's hair in the paternal sort of way before shifting his attention back to the building. Teeth clicked behind scarf. "Ey Big G, ya 'boutta learn why we never needed no Galactic Police before. On my mark, assault."
The next time the Bandit Bunny leader poked his head out to spit demands, the Sheriff had his hand up and out. A bolt of bright sapphire energy flaring out and catching the thug in the face with enough impact to send him spiraling off the roof. The great thing about Ki blasts were they could be as quiet as a silenced pistol when you wanted. "Breach, breach, breach!" The Sheriff hopped the barrier, metal arm raising as palm swirled open. THUNK, THUNK, THUNK, as canisters smashed through windows. A few seconds ticked by like weeks before the spark and bank of bright light and sound had the rest of the glass in the building shatter. Sprinting across the open ground, the Sheriff slammed his shoulder into the wall beside the doorway as sporadic, ill aimed gunfire spat around from no doubt displaced and confused bandits. "G, up and at 'em mate! Deputy, anyone tries shit, hit 'em in the nuts so hard they shit sideways!"

Ramen catches the sash, looking at it a little confused at first until the Sheriff pulls his scarf up to protect his nose and mouth. With a little nod of understanding, she wraps the scarf around to protect herself from the upcoming tear gas. She lifts her shoulders in a little shrug at his suggestion of hiring herself and the Galactic Patroller.
"Maybe on a part-time basis! I do have a really busy life as it stands" she replies, before peeking over the barricade at the bandits lurking behind. Taking note once again of their distinctive style, she makes a face and settles back down. "They're not really demanding carrots, are they? That's so lame, but if this goes bad we could just give them a gift card to a grocery store."
Whatever the case, when the Sheriff made the call, she launched herself over the barricade right after him. Her approach to the situation was... reckless, to say the least. As gas canisters smashed through the windows overhead, she took advantage of any momentary confusion to begin her rush up towards the bank, moving just fast enough to evade gunfire coming her way. Hoping to draw fire from her two partners, she stops halfway across the courtyard, opting to leap into the air in plain sight.
"You guys couldn't hit the broadside of a--" she started, before a barrage of bullets caused her to let out a high-pitched squeak, twisting in the air and hurling herself back down to the ground to rush to safety. She managed to make it over to the wall of the bank without taking any serious hits, blowing a strand of her now ruffled hair out of her eyes.
"Alright, I'm not going to just blast a hole in the wall and risk killing a bunch of these guys, even if they are, uh... stupid," she glances over to Kail. "Uuh, sure! I'll follow behind you and just kick around any bandits that try anything. And you can, y'know. Absorb the bullets."

The robot switched into assault mode, his A.I practically screaming for him to head in. He nodded at the exchange his allies had signaling he understands. Although on accident, Ramen's distraction was perfect for GP to sprint into the bank unopposed. The sheriff had taken point as he said already inside and navigating through the tear gas with his make do mask. The tank of an android easily shrugged off stray fire that smashed against his heavy plating. Seeing his opportunity had come in the form of a bandit attempting to flee the scene, GP rolled into him knocking the air out of his body and crushing a few bones. "Space police, hands on the ground!" He shouted before using a containment ring to tie a robbers ankles together, dropping him to the floor. The hostage he had in his grasp fell to the floor coughing.
"I will take care of evac Sherrif Kail. Galactic Patrol never fails." GP said as he lifted the hostage over his shoulder, his spare hand opening fire from his energy rifle. The Galactic law forced GP for the mean time to use non-lethal force on the robbers, his ki bullets bouncing off their skulls knocking them unconscious in burst of three. His scanners made seeing through the gas an easy task, these robbers from the looks of things were ill prepared. GP managed to take out two of the perpetrators on his way out including the one he had rolled over. He dropped the citizen behind the barricade. "Please remain here, if you'd like to file a report speak to me after this situation is under control." GP said to the shaking and heaving man who could care less, all he could do was nod weakly.
The robot then ran back inside diving in front of a hostage who was about to take a bullet. The small human looked up and attempted to resist, thinking he was one of the bandits. GP heaved her over his shoulder shooting cover fire towards a bandit behind the counter. He made it outside his back and shoulders dotted with bullet dents. He laid the hostage down gently behind the barricade and sat there with the two. He was ready to take out any stray criminals who attempted to flee, but he was sure his fellows could finish the job. "Have no fear there is a ninety five percent chance of success." He said to the two coughing hostages as he free them from their bonds.

"Not bad." The Sheriff grunted with an approving nod of his head for both of the others. With the robot taking the heat, the Sheriff darted through the smoke. Eyes watering, but just pure power level was enough to make most agents like this far less effective on his body. Hand raising up like a cocked gun, the veteran fighter cleared rooms. Making subtle mumbles to himself to take note. Hostages cleared was an important number. Even as he blasted out a wall to let a rush of fresh air in, grabbing civilians by their shoulders and shoving them out the newly made exit. "On ya go folk, keep going until you see a big as fuck robot and report your names. Ain't nobody gonna get hurt today besides some assholes."
Senses more then sight warned the Sheriff as he turned, whipping the sapphire beam of energy from making a new exit to slamming into a bandit with enough force to crack the tiled wall behind him. Letting body slump down, the grizzled man continued to stalk through the bank. The pauldron of his cybernetic arm clicked, a small device that served as a communicator showing off. "G, local police are here and securing the area. I'm heading to the roof to give over watch."
The Sheriff rocketed through the building in a rather quicker way now, merely flying out a gaping hole from an attack and landing on the roof with a soft thud. Making a casual glance around to be sure this wasn't a last stand for the bandits, but it seemed that the only one on the roof had been the one he'd plucked off with a rather well aimed attack. "It's all up to you lass, do what you do biker babe."
He mentally counted the hostages, looks like all of them were out by his account. Still a couple of bandits running around. The Sheriff dug through his long coat, withdrawing a thick cigar and rolling it between fingers before a small ki blast lit it. Puffing as he checked the perimeter from high up on the building. I'm definitely going to have to offer both of these two a job, he thought.

Ramen followed along as the Sheriff went about clearing the bank, for the most part just watching his back while he takes the lead. But when he blasted his way up to the roof, she opted to take charge in the lower levels. Tear gas was deeply uncomfortable for her, even if she was more than capable of withstanding most of its effects. For the most part, it only soured her mood to the point that as she raced along the corridors to meet criminal after criminal, she opted not to pull her punches quite as much as she should have, favouring quick knock-outs to protracted brawls. She kept everything non-lethal, certainly, but safe to say there are going to be quite a few bandits with wounded egos being carted away at the end of all this.
Breaching into another room housing a handful of holed up bandits, Ramen darted along the wall, careful to guide their fire away from remaining hostages, before twisting around and rushing at the first of the gunmen, shoulder-tackling him back into a wall. As the pair working alongside him adjusted their aim to fire at her from the side, she launched herself off her feet and effectively flew at them, headbutting the first bandit and driving him back into the second. She maybe went a little overboard in the heat of the moment, managing to knock them both straight through one of the walls. She coughed on the smoke arising from the rubble, standing up over the now unconscious bandits.
With a nervous glance, she looked back to the couple hostages she'd secured. "Uh, follow me! We're going to get you to a giant robot who will make sure you're safe, just..." she eyed the destroyed wall. "If you could do me a solid, don't tell them I'm the one who broke this! I can't afford to pay them back..."

"As I said officer I am a GPB unit from the Galactic Patrol. I helped Sherrif Valliere and his deputy apprehend the bandits." Repeated the grey cyborg to one of the officers who had taken up behind the barricade he placed. After giving them the full report GP's systems reported the last of the bandits falling, they seemed to mistrust him. After all he was a huge grey machine covered in bullet marks and armed to the teeth. "The building is clear and hostages are exiting, please assist in evac and bringing in the fallen criminals." GP said to the same officer. He seemed spectacle for a few moments but as he said the remaining hostages were headed towards them, Ramen escorting a few. Police poured in to wrap up the successful operation. If GP could smile he would be beaming with pride, his dreams fulfilled.
After everything seemed to die down and paramedics showed up to treat hostages. GP approached his allies his weapon holstered on his back. "Well done Sherrif, I do see what you mean about not needing protection. And deputy your work was clean and efficient, you make an excellent officer. Even though it isn't as you say, you're full time job." GP was doing his best to compliment his teammates, no emotion in his voice as he was incapable. I have to report in with my supervisor, but please feel free to call on me anytime with this. The robot would then offer two small buttons two the pair. They were transponders that would ping their location to GP and he would come rolling in.
GP would listen to what his peers had to say, he couldn't react much being a robot. If offered a job from the sheriff GP would respond "Unfortunately I'm and under Galactic Patrol, and can not join other law enforcement as a full officer. Although it would be a honor to serve with you both anytime." And with that the robotic cop from space would take to the sky and blast off to report in. A feeling of pride flowing through his circuits.
Attempting to exit thread, and it was my favorite so far!

The Sheriff landed on the street with easy motions done of practice, everyone flew plenty. "Good work Big G." The Sheriff thunked his fist against the robot's side before it took off. Giving a soft grunt around his cigar at the sight of a near seven foot tall mechanical being flying. Ya see something new every day, that was a real under statement now a days. Blowing a stream of acrid grey smoke out the corner of his mouth as he was swiftly surrounded by blue uniformed officers. A few exchanged words before he waved Ramen the (for now) Deputy over.
"Fine work kid, yer a real natural." He managed to chat with her as he scribbled on another outstretched report on a clip board. Signing, writing, and crossing things out in equal measure. "Just try not to get another ticket, I ain't usually in the station minus extreme situations or boredom, both of which I hope are in short enough supply to mean you won't be gettin' into any trouble. If ya do, minus something too serious, just tell 'em you know Sheriff Valliere, should be enough to let you off with a warning."

With the smoke clearing on the fight, Ramen started absently kicking little pieces of rubble out from in-front of the doorway, pausing only when she spotted Kail waving her over. She skipped over to him at that, giving a little wink to one of the apprehended bandits on the way, before coming to a halt in front of the Saiyan. She grinned at the praise. "Thanks, I try to do a good job at whatever I happen to be... well, doing."
She raised a finger as if instructing the man on something before continuing. "It's not always as simple as avoiding a speeding ticket though, you know! Sometimes you're just going along a zone where you're allowed to go fast, but then you're going too fast to pay attention to the sign so you don't realize you're going into a slow zone, and it doesn't help when people tend to drive way to slow -anyways-..." she trailed off for a moment, taking a long look around the compound.
"So, is that pretty much it here? I was kind of hoping there would be something more, you know, invigorating. Like -- the bandits were fun, don't get me wrong, but none of them were very tough!" she lets out a little huff. "Oh well. Maybe next time, right? And don't worry. I'll remember the name!"

"Aye, that be true. But at least try to obey the speed laws friend. They're there for a reason, and it ain't just to crap ya style, y'here?" She was a sassy little thing, and that had him already doubt she'd be an officer anytime soon. For the best though, wasn't for everyone and he wasn't about to take up anyones time. He paused for a moment, before yanking his notes out and scribbling the location of his town up north, and his comm number. "Here, try to stay out of trouble kid."
The towering Saiyan let a laugh out, palming the firey lass on the head and giving her a rub before walking off. Parting the crowd around him by sheer dint of stubbornness and size mixed to mean he didn't move, everyone else did. Raising a hand in a two fingered salute.
There was still plenty of paper work to do, and not anyone else able to do it but himself.
//whew that was fun! Hit me up when yer out that DE Ramen, we'll punch giant bears.
