A minor discussion took place in the C-Box after I questioned the possibility of the Turtle School re-emerging from the ashes of the past. Some said it may still be a thing brought over from the previous site. I ask as a possible new master of the school. I don’t intend to make the quest easy, if it’s approved. I thought of a possible staff modded quest thread to retrieve Roshi’s training scrolls from Kame House Island, which could be infested with giant, monster turtles now. If that much effort isn’t needed, let me know what I should do. If such is not allowed or approved, right now, simply explain how to create a new martial arts school. The Scorpions need some rivals. |

I would be going against you should the Turtle School prop itself back up. Hereditary my character is descended of one of the former masters on WoD and I know Articho might actually try to fight you as well. One of my goals was to eventually open up a school in similar nature to Turtle once Bridgett got a little bit higher in pl to somewhere near the 20k margin.

I can't personally speak for the Turtle School thing but imo it'd be way cooler for original factions to come to the fore rather than clinging to ancient canon ones.

I actually think it'd be great to see the legacy of the Crane and Kame in that they found new dojos entirely. Definitely a gripe that the canon Schools/Dojos persisted through so much of the site canon. Definitely not against the idea that their techniques, however, could be recovered and brought into this age via the new ones that rise up. Hope to see this succeed, regardless of if you take on the name Turtle or not.

I highly suggest making a different School altogether.
Of course, you can have whatever ideas and teachings you want, but I would love to see different schools with their own style and charm. Nostalgia is great, but new stuff would be dope.
I actually thought about starting a "Dragon Dojo" with my alt character who is a dragon-zoan...go figure.
