With his training out of the way, Cello hopped from the mountain-top on which he stood and flew in the direction that he remembered seeing a small village in, when he encircled the planet. He decided he would try some of what these Earthlings knew as food. To help him find the place, he zoned in on the area with his senses but something strange was going on. The last time he’d come by, there had been about 30 signatures of relatively low power levels. Now those seemed to be replaced by a dozen or so power signatures, relatively larger than those he’d felt earlier. Had all of the villagers fused? Could these Earthlings even do that ?
Even when Cello arrived at the village itself, the mystery wasn't cleared up. Everything was as he saw it from the sky except no one was around. The cluster of power signatures he felt were on the outskirts of the village, but this area seemed to be completely lifeless. He frowned and walked over to one of the small huts, only to freeze in the doorway. A pair of Earthling, one adult-sized and the other child-sized were slumped in the corner. The larger was slumped back in his chair while the little one was flopped onto the table between them. Both had smoking holes in their body. The clear smell of burning flesh in the air told the Namekian that the wounds were recent. Now, it became crystal clear why he couldn't locate the villager's life signs.
The green man gritted his teeth as his fists clenched hard enough to pop his knuckles. This wasn't right. It wasn't as though he was a stranger to killing, but these people served no threat- what was the purpose in slaughtering them like this? And worse still, if none of them were alive, it meant he had no one to cook any goodies for him, anymore. Though Namekians didn’t have to eat food to survive, Cello had finally gained the courage to meet new senients and this happened. His aura exploded out as he turned his head back and roared, "Who did this?!" Who? Well, he didn't know just yet. Or care. Whoever did this was going to suffer before they died.
He burst out of the hut, streaking down the village's main forum as he rocketed towards the location of the clustered life signatures. When the area pulled into sight, it only took him a fraction of a second to identify the group of mercantile soldiers- about fifteen of them. Conversely, they barely had time to notice him as he flew into the middle of the group, charging his right arm with a slate gray mass of energy before thrusting it forward, piercing his arm through the nearest soldier's chest. He felt his fist punch through armor, bones, and organs before finally popping out on the other side of his body. By the time Cello yanked his arm free, the rest of the soldiers already had their arm cannons trained on him.
One of the soldiers, with orange strips on his armor, spoke first. He seemed to be the leader of the group- or at least a high ranking member. "What the- who the hell are you?!" Cello turned his head to give him a death gaze before vanishing from sight, only to reappear in front of him, driving his elbow into his helmet hard enough to smash through the faceplate and snap his neck back. His body crumpled into a lifeless heap at his feet, and some of the soldiers stepped back in fear- but they weren't ready to surrender. "FIRE! FIRE, DAMN IT!" Several of the soldiers responded to the order with trained efficiency, taking a moment to aim before hitting the trigger, sending several streams of deadly energy streaking towards the Namekian at the same time.
A mere wave of his arm slapped away many of the shots at the same time, casting them back over his shoulder only to let them explode harmlessly in the air. "AGAIN! DON'T STOP SHO-" Cello seemingly materialized in front of the commanding shooter with his back to him. He stepped back, slamming his body into the man’s so that he could wrap his arm around his extended arm, twisting it hard enough to pulverize the bone inside as he forced the cannon towards his two allies, disposing of both of them before yanking his arm over to shoulder flip him. The moment he hit the ground, he slammed his boot into the man’s throat and yanked up on his arm again, grinding his heel in to crush his throat before he could issue another order.
Cello let the limp arm slide out of his grasp, casting his deadly gaze at the other soldiers, who were now steadily stepping back to create space. One of them had his hand to a device which appeared like a monocle, probably trying to gauge Cello’s power, and was mumbling something inaudible. Cello looked down at his right hand where energy was already crackling, racing down his arm as he gathered power. His gaze returned to the remaining men, all of whom who had managed to raise their arm cannons again just as the Namekian raised his own arm. "S-Synchronize your blasts, we can overcome him! Come on!" Cello thrust out his arm at the same time they fired, unleashing a large gray beam of Ki himself. The grey blast slammed into the green, their power seeming to resonate but suddenly being smashed through, as Cello’s ki enveloped all their blasts before exploding, instantly vaporizing their bodies. He’d supposed all that training did some good after all.
By this point, Cello was surprised that such a subpar crew was able to pull of anything, let alone a massacre. There had to be someone else behind them. The Namekian rose into the air slightly to check his surroundings and find the person who was truly responsible.

This sleepy, little village in the South was just a passing fancy to Eri. It was on the way to the city and as she flew overhead, she noticed a fight going on down below. Circling, she slowly began a descent, watching as the band of misfits got turned back by some wannabe heroes. Her golden eyes narrowed, safely hidden behind black, reflective lenses. A small skull pendant was latched to the choker around her neck and the rest of her matched it. Black hair currently done in pigtails, black tank top and matching jeans, her shoes stood out just a little. They were gray instead of black, more like they’d once been black and faded over time.
The mercenaries ran for it, hiding out in an abandoned house that was literally falling apart at the seams. Eri followed above and, when she landed, just entered through a big hole in the wall she might have made bigger. “Well, aren’t you lot a sorry, poor excuse for thugs?”
The men erupted into a cacophony of sound, but the leader met her gaze. Eri smiled and they all fell silent slowly but surely. One by one, they stopped talking as the leader held up a hand. “And what do you propose we do about this?” At least he seemed to recognize she had more power in her little finger than all of them combined, even if she still considered herself a baby in the grand scheme of things.
Her fists balled on her hips as Eris chewed on her bottom lip thoughtfully, looking them over as if considering them for some great, important task. And maybe she was, after all, she’d need worshipers and an army some day, theoretically. “Get organized. Your attack was poorly executed, sloppy at best. And, what, you’re eight people trying to do what? Without a drive or goal, why bother?” Taking another step closer, her fingers ran over the arm of Leader Guy, a bit of magic jumping from her to him. “Maybe you should find some like minded people to team up with?”
He smiled at her, missing a few teeth, but no one was perfect. “Aye, that I can do.”
Eri set up shop while she waited, materializing all the comforts of home. A pit of lava in the fireplace, dirt all around it, and then sharp rocks jutting out to keep it from spilling over - or to injure anyone unlucky enough to step on them. On the ceiling were vines ready to fall and trap someone within, reinforced with her magic, of course. By the time the Leader came back, he brought two other bands of mercs with him and Eri grinned,
“Ooooh, now we’re talking!” All in all, there were about thirty guys, some more impressive than others. “Okay! Why don’t you…” she began splitting them up, sorting them from strongest to weakest, Pointing at the weak half she resumed her little directive. “Go and terrorize the town. Loot, kill, maim, and bring me back something pretty…” she pouted again, batting her lashes.
The leader smiled again. “Anything for you, Eris…” he said. “Alright, you heard the lady, let’s move out!”
“What should the rest of us do?” one of the stronger asked, clearly put out at having been left behind.
“Oh, I have a very important task for you...go and set traps around this place, barricade us and make this a true fortress.” Hell, she already made a moat, but more never hurt. “I have a feeling that people won’t like our actions very much. Pesky people can’t leave well enough alone, always meddling in the plans of others. You fifteen have the most important job of all: protect me and help me fight!”
As Eri spoke, vivid green and bright purple Ki swirled around her like cotton candy, and her power doubled.

More soldiers could be spotted, westward, from Cello’s aerial position. One thought of the bright idea to attempt to shoot him down, but once again he simply fizzled out of existence, reappearing at the man’s side to deliver a chop to the back of his neck hard enough to immediately send him crashing to the ground. These soldiers seemed to be a bit stronger than the former ones, though the rest were hesitating.
Cello raised his arms and fired out a barrage of Ki blasts, blowing three of them away in the initial volley. The remaining mercenaries turned to flee. The Namekian dashed forward, slamming his knee into the nearest one's back, grabbing his neck from behind, then flipping him around to slam him into the ground. He stopped moving.
One turned around and fired off a few shots while his friend ran. The Namekian rocketed forward again, weaving back and forth to avoid the shots until finally getting close enough to wrap his fingers around this soldier's neck, slamming him into the ground but continuing to fly forward to drag his exposed face against the gravel. The man’s body left a trench in the planet's surface, as Cello’s aura burst out, increasing speed to catch up to the final, running soldier. When he felt the last man's life leave his body he simply dropped it, feeding even more power into his flight. It only took a moment for Cello to catch up to the last man here, raising his arm over the man’s head to crush it... but to his surprise, the man immediately turned and dropped to his knees. "W-Wait! WAIT! Please, don't kill me!"
The Namekian stopped in place for a moment, feeling his rage and bloodlust slowly starting to fade away from the pleas as the man as tears welled up in his eyes, "Please, I only took this job because there was no other way to support my family. I have children... they need me..." Cello took a look at his own fist, stably frozen before the man’s face, unsure if he should follow through with the punch or not. "Listen, w-what happened at the village, I didn't do any of that! You already got the guys who did! I was just assigned to stand guard here and set traps, I haven't done anything! Please!" The Namekian hesitated for a moment before clicking his tongue, fists remaining clenched as he turned away from the sniveling coward, dropping the man. Now he that he had calmed from his enraged state, he didn't feel like killing someone who had already surrendered. There was no honor or glory in that.
But then, his senses started picking up on something. He could feel building energy signature at his rear. The man was preparing to attack him while he was walking away. He stopped in place, gritting her teeth as he felt the pressure of the energy beam being formed behind him, until he was certain that the man was able to attack. "How stupid can you be? I DON'T EVEN HAVE ANY KIDS!" Cello heard a sharp chortle as the arm cannon fired a full-powered shot. It would have been a simple matter to dodge, but...
The beam plummeted toward the Namekian as he turned to tank the blast. As the beam impacted him some of the soldiers came for back up. The blast disintegrated against Cello’s sturdy body. The Namekian’s rage returned with a fury as his blood boiled, screaming as his aura returned with a vengeance, exploding out with such force that it cratered the earth below him feet, shaking the very ground itself as his power was forced to maximum, and then even further beyond. The man barely had time to realize his folly before Cello slammed his fist into his chest hard enough to crack his battle armor. The punch was only the first of many to come. His body was held up by the flurry of blows, the armor chipping and cracking more and more until it fell apart, exposing his chest. But he still didn't stop. His helmet was blown off as well, as was the arm cannon, but still Cello didn't stop. The Namekian snarled like an animal as he drove punch after punch into the corpse's broken body, holding him up entirely though the force of his repeated blows.
Releasing even more energy, Cello would release his full potential, exerting his power outward to carry the body of the poor coward away, as he released ki blast at the rest of the men there taking them out in a powerful explosion and darting forward. The coward said that they were setting booby traps. This meant that their base of operations had to be nearby. Cello shifted his attention forward, moving at incredible speeds, taking out each soldier he passed with one, fatal blow each, as he move much too fast for them to even understand that they were being killed. Each booby trap the men has set was ill-equipped the stand before Cello’s true power: Large log traps simply bounced off, bombs didn’t have enough explosive power, springs didn’t have enough force and blasters simply didn’t work. It was also a few tigers but they no longer have teeth.
The small shack of a hideout came into view, complete with a moat, spiked fencing all around, with bombs, and a number of guard dogs. They did a great job securing this “base” but Cello saw that they didn’t anticipate someone like him. He simply smashed through the defenses with a few bombs exploding at the force of impact, continuing directly into the hut to meet Eris face to face, driving through the wall of the building to land in the center of its foyer. Fifteen men stood in a circle around him, with some small girl behind them. She had dark hair and golden eyes. Was she the one behind all this. She certainly was stronger than all these men here.
”What is the meaning of this?”, asked Cello looking directly at the little demon girl.

There were several good reasons she kept the more powerful mercs nearby, and the ruckus outside made Eri glad she did. Of course some too-good bit player wanted to smash all over her parade. Hopefully her little band of men gave him a workout, tired him out a little, before he reached her.
She thought about getting out, but no, Eris wanted to know exactly who decided to spoil all her clouds with sunshine? Flying up into the air, she fiddled with her trap just a little. Most of them had magical triggers, and she intended on utilizing all of them if she needed to make an escape. Especially the smoke bombs, all different, fun colors to distract and not meant to be inhaled. As the men departed she watched out the window as some Green alien dispatched them one after the other like toys to be knocked down. Oh, how disappointing, how would she ever build her army now? Did they even hurt it? Put a dent in the massive beast coming her way?
As he crossed the moat and barged in she stared at him, unimpressed, arms cross over her chest. “Meaning?” she asked, a small smile forming on her lips, a dimple on each side appearing with it. She giggled, one hand coming up, dainty fangs visible through her open mouth as the giggle turned into outright laughter. “Does this have to have meaning to fit into your orderly life?” she asked, catching her breath after her fit of laughter. “Does everything you do have meaning?”
Lowering back down to the ground her face dropped its pleasant demeanor as if a button had been pressed, it was that fast. Eri looked at him seriously, then. “I feel sorry for you…like a wind up toy, pull the string and watch the great, green giant fight evil! Ohhh how pretty a picture that paints for the good and pure. They don’t deserve your protection, you know. They don’t really like anyone that is too different, or that’s been my experience.”
Taking a brave step closer she peered up at him. “Humans killed my mother, so I kill and use them as I see fit.” Gesturing to the dead men outside she asked, “What’s your excuse?”

Cello allowed his energy to relax, regressing back to his normal state. His full power wasn’t needed for this matter. This girl was clearly the product of a rough childhood, as well as lack of love and support. Though Cello was definitely going to knock some sense into her. He didn’t need to utterly destroy her. He had more than enough power to subdue her in his current state. He hadn’t decided whether or not she deserved to live quite yet.
He listened to her rambling about good natured people being pulled by some sort of strings or so predictable. Cello simply wanted to enjoy the food of the Earthlings and this wench ruined it with her manipulation over those mercenaries, though Cello doubted they needed that much suggesting. Cello amused the creature for a little while. What was it that drove such a vengeful spirit.
”Well, humans killed your mother and so you kill their women and children to make someone hurt as badly as you were hurt ?”, mused Cello as he looked upon the weird, little woman. ”Will that bring her back to life? Or does killing innocents just fill the little hole in your heart ?”
Cello knew of the hate of various people exhibited at the sight of someone different but he hadn’t experienced that on this planet, as of yet. The good were always amongst the bad. ”The pain and suffering of others will never bring you peace, girl!” Cello stood in front of her, arms crossed, proud and true. With the soldiers having seen Cello’s display during his entrance, they weren’t trying to get into a fight with him. So they all stood and listened. They hoped that their fearless leader would dispatch the green demon.
”So what’s it gonna be, girl? You gonna give up and pay for your crimes or resist and be utterly destroyed?”

She never specified women and children, just humans, but that wasn’t the point. Is that what her mercenaries got up to? Oh well, she didn’t really care about the whom, more about the why and the how. People ignored others a lot of the time, and that left plenty of openings for other, more nefarious connections. Her eyes remained on his as if considering his question.
The mercenaries were not good men, but some of them hadn’t been bad men, either. They took the dirty work because it was the only work they were good at or could find on an overpopulated Earth. It paid the bills, kept their families fed and clothed, helped keep a roof over the heads of themselves and the people they cared for. If Eris learned anything about humans during her time here, it was that they were layered, and all so very malleable. This guy with his black and white views on the world, she hadn’t done anything specific to interfere with his food, just gave the mercs a bit more incentive to get the job done.
He’d killed them, a waste of perfectly usable talent, but still disposable in the end. Really, he almost did her a favor. She opened her mouth as if to respond, a concerned look in her eyes as if thinking very seriously about how to answer him.
Eris snapped her fingers and three things happened simultaneously. The first was the lights all went out at once, and secondly the trap in the ceiling was sprung. A Heavy rope and steel net fell down to cover the area on which the Namekian stood. Either he could dodge or split his focus, Eri just hoped it bought her a bit of time, and laughter if he had to struggle.
The last and third thing that happened was that all the windows shattered at once, another hopeful distraction to buy her precious time. She knew she was out gunned, so she had to rely on every trick and trap she knew to get by.
Eris has sprung her first trap, to try and pin down her foe!

Cello didn’t have time for petty games. He had come here to finish this quickly so he could return to his personal matters. He didn’t intend to be a knight in shining armor for any misfits or misguided souls. This girl was clearly off her meds and simply messed with the lives of these people for her sick, twisted amusement. As the trap fell upon Cello, he would simply stand still as all the lights flickered out and all the windows burst in. He was unshaken by the assault, simply keeping track of the girl’s ki signature, unaffected by the rope and steel.
Sadly, blasting all the lights out did little to distract the Namekian being that he had crashed through the wall to enter this place, meaning that the sun still shined through. He would hone in on the girl’s life signature before releasing a ki blast directly towards her, easily melting through the rope and steel to release him from their ineffectual embrace. Cello was now back to his serious, immovable self. This girl cared little about her actions and thus could be exterminated with the rest of them.
Cello would dash forward to her position, releasing a flurry of punches in her direction, intending on taking the young girl out. His final attack would be administered directly towards her midsection, ki pulsating through his forearm and hand, intended to impact the girl with shattering force and power and possibly knock her into the hard walls behind them. The time for games were over. Cello had things to do and places to be.

Well, this guy was just no fun to mess with, and he was a lot stronger than she was. At least he didn’t really put any power behind his moves, swinging at her with his big, dumb arms at her like he didn’t have the Ki to back them up. Besides, he wasn’t the only one with things to do, places to be, people to see.
Her mouth opened as his strikes took her in the arms and her eyes turned green like acid. A spout of spinning flames came from within, right at him, and Eris took the opportunity to also use her magic to crack the rest of the house’s foundations. It sprung several of her smoke bombs, the clouds covering them both, and she flew at top speed from the small house. She’d remember this, remember how he foiled all her plans, and oh she’d get her payback later.
TLDR Eris fires a Ki attack for 66% of her pl, another couple of traps spring, bringing down the house (literally) and exploding smoke bombs to aid in her escape!
[UP2] Eris roars a blast of fire at her opponent. 1980 PL Attack.
Hey, just a heads up, when writing ooc comments, you should use the code tags like this.
Sorry, just not feeling this one anymore, besides, they could both use a recurring nemesis! And in order to recur, one must get away sometimes. This is where Eris would icly make her exit, anyway, I feel.
It was fun while it lasted, though.
