Konowata is someone normal that lives a life that is anything but normal and as such had to adapt to it. Friendly to a degree a due to his quirks he is willing to give almost anyone a chance regardless of alignment as long they don't mess with him directly or at least with deadly intent and endanger his way of life. Kono is willing to stick his neck for those he considers close or at least feels like he owes to though he is also not above holding grudges and being petty about them.
