The forest swayed very quietly within the breeze. The animals within stood silent, feeling the pressure emanating from the person within. Pallida stood, forcing his ki into the air to find someone who would do battle with him. As he pumped his ki, he could feel his muscles begin to burst. His energy ran rampant through his body, causing everything around him to blow away or root to the ground as strongly as possible. The animals were running, but he made sure of the fact that he was doing no damage to the forest, or its inhabitants. His goal was immediately clear to anyone who may have been near; he was trying to attract something, or more appropriately, someone. For any person who could be around, they would feel him above all else, as he forced his energy into dominance. His goal was not one of malice, but for that of a challenge.
Pallida makes a beacon to challenge all those who may feel them. Thread PL: 9,530
Earth was quite the interesting case. Most planets with a strong population had a relatively uniform base from which deviation was unusual; the dominant life form generally being capable simply by virtue of their birth. That was not the case here. This world was populated largely by weak individuals, but out of the billions of life forms, Cello could sense, there were perhaps… ten thousand? Twenty thousand? Who were strong enough to be worthy of note. And beyond that, perhaps a hundred more who were at an even stronger level than himself.
Now that was very interesting indeed. He allowed himself to sink deeper, to roll his senses out across the planet and taste those powers. His jaw worked, and his tongue licked out over her lips as he got a feel for the ‘competition’, as it were. The closer he looked, however, the more most of those powers swam away from him. The Namekian would then open his eyes, purging the senses of the various power levels on the planet and taking on his surroundings.
The lush, forested landscape surrounding him was something to behold, as the sun slowly rose over the horizon. As planets went, Earth was relatively small. Physical size, though, meant little compared to the resources which the planet had at its disposal. All he had to do was circle it once to ascertain that the world was rich in all those elements most valuable to advanced societies; metal ores, abundant water, fields and forests. Disappointingly, it did not look like the humans had yet learned to live in harmony with their environment, but what could you expect? They were only a few millennia old, they’d learn. Whether they did that before or after they turned their home world into an uninhabitable dustbowl was largely up to them.
As Cello rose from his thoughts and calmed himself. He supposed while he was here, he could attempt to train and try to match these amazing power levels. But suddenly he could a certain power level in the distance. He bolted over with a super speed dash to appear before a fellow Namekian.
Taken aback by finally seeing a kinsmen on the planet, Cello greeted the man. ”Hello, Brother!”, nodded Cello, as he rose his fist, taking a wide horse stance.
The "Fuck-a-roo" Forest, as Alva had quite embarrissingly mispronounced it when she did a biology report to her class on the wildlife in the area years earlier, was honestly even more beautiful in person. She was planning on taking a short break from her quest to be the best and do a little sightseeing, as well as get a bit of a better feel for how to move around adeptly in the SU-1T armor. Even though it was quite well designed (which was a given, as she had been its designer) and offered little wear and tear on whoever donned it, it was still jarring to feel as if you were moving in regular clothing and then accidentally bumping yourself and being reminded you're in a hulking metal suit. This vacation out West would be the perfect opportunity to both see some sights and get more familiar with the swing of things.
At least, it was going to be relaxing, until she saw a massive reading come up on the SU-1T's scouter while she flew a few hundred feet in the air above the forest of trees. "What the heck?" the young girl thought as the reading popped up on her UI. It was an unusually large reading compared to anything she'd seen before. And what was also unusual was that it seemed to almost have been intentionally projected across the area, as if somebody was flaunting their ability? According to the scouter, as powerful as the energy signature was, the SU-1T was still a fair amount stronger, so there wouldn't be much danger in checking it out. "Might as well," the girl said with a chuckle as she changed directions and flew off towards where the beacon had appeared.
Within a few minutes, the scouter detected two energy signatures down below the canopy of leaves, and Alva flew on down, landing with a loud thud right in front of what appeared to be two Namekians. "Whoa," Alva muttered in surprise as she saw them standing there. Were they friends or something? Had they intentionally set off that beacon to lure unsuspecting people into a trap? The SU-1T seemed to be stronger than each of them individually, but not if they teamed up against her. She tensed up and got herself ready in case either of them suddenly attacked her. "H-Hey," she said, "I, uh, saw the beacon and was wondering what was up, so... What's up?"

After only a few minutes, the beacon was answered. The first person to answer was a Namekian, just like him, whom gave a very formal greeting, calling himself Cello, before falling into his fighting stance. The other was a human, who had found them after Cello had readied himself for battle. Upon seeing the two, Pallida introduced himself. "Hello my friend, and brother. I am Pallida. You've probably come here sensing the beacon I put out. You see, I was simply craving a challenge, and so far, I've yet to even lightly spar with another person. It's good to see that there is someone I can fight here." With that, Pallida's excitement finally boiled over. Not only did he find another one of his people, but he found a Warrior Clan Namek willing to spar. This was going to be great. Pallida very quickly began to power up. If he was going to battle two people at once, he was going to need everything he had. As his power increased tremendously, he also began to increase in size. Eventually, he went from an already high-up 7 foot, 8 inches, to somewhere within the 30 foot range. Upon getting a grip on his surroundings and larger body, Pallida extended his arm, sweeping across the ground in an attempt to hit both of his enemies. Now the real fight had begun. Current PL: 38,120 (Transformed) OOC: So there's one of two ways this could work. I'm currently banking on a 1v1v1, but if another person jumps in, that could very easily change. If there are better suggestions, leave them in thread and we'll decide together.
Cello supposed it was a free for all. A certain mechanical combatant appeared after he did. Cello could feel the energy of an Earthling inside. With this Earthling’s low power level, Cello didn’t intend to go hard on her but he of course couldn’t sense the power of her bio-suit and would soon come to a rude awakening if she was indeed powerful. He hasn’t questioned the power of these machines the Earthlings had in their possession since he’d witness the powers of that one Sheriff’s hound. He could clearly feel the full brunt of his brother’s innate powers, all pushing to surface as he transformed into his Great Namekian state. Cello didn’t intend to be trampled here.
Also being a Namekian of the Warrior Caste, Cello knew full well the power of this giantification but he personally forgoes this state for a personal transformation which he created himself during his exile on the insectoids’ moon-planet. Instead of using his regenerative powers to forcibly force his body into a gigantic form with greater power and strength, Cello managed his effort on honing and focusing his ki, compounding it to be used throughout his entire body, without changing form.
He intended to demonstrate, bolting backwards with a handless somersault, landing on his feet about 30 meters behind his initial position, taking his wife, horse stance again and releasing to full brunt of his powers. The Namekian’s energies surged with a fury as his blood boiled in excitement. He screamed as his aura exploded out with such force that it created a crater out of the earth below him feet, shaking the very ground itself as his power was forced to maximum, and then even further beyond. His ki would be seen folding into itself with a gray glow, before fully releasing into a slate gray explosion, releasing Cello’s Powered Up State.
He knew his power could be felt by both of his enemies as he bolted forward to return an open hand strike towards Pallida, but not before releasing a quick ki blast towards Alva, aimed directly for her midsection. His subsequent open hand thrust was directed towards Pallida’s midsection but he was sure that his brother would meet the blow with his own power and they could get right down to business.
Oh, boy. Alva had forgotten that Namekians could just turn gigantic whenever they wanted. After the one named Pallida had explained that he'd been seeking a challenge and then grew at least 5 times larger out of nowhere, Alva's scouter went off the fritz and showed that his power level had quadrupled past where it had been. And he was huge. "Uh..." Alva was suddenly starting to feel a little worried about her chances here. On the bright side, they didn't seem like they wanted to kill anyone, so Alva was sure she wouldn't, like, die or anything. But on the other hand, they might cause an anoying amount of damage to her suit if she wasn't careful. At least the other Namekian didn't seem as quick to battle, right?
"Hey, so, since we're both way weaker than that guy we should probably team u-" she started to say, until something about his energy signature changed as well, and his power level registered as quadruple its former value, just as his friend had. Only, he didn't grow giant, for whatever reason. It was almost kind of disappointing: it would've been kind of neat to see two giant slug men battle it out in the middle of a forest. Whatever. Now she had two things to worry about. But she had an ace in the hole herself. "Heh," the girl smugly chuckled, shaking her head. "I've got my own special secret power up too, you know." She got into a battle stance, and then held her arm out, typing something quickly into the number pad on it.
"Overdrive protocol, activate!"
...Nothing happened. Did she type in the wrong code? "Er, one sec," she mumbled, typing in the proper activation key once again, only for nothing to happen. What the heck, now of all times for the thing to not work? It had worked just fine during all the testing. "You stupid piece of-" she spat through grit teeth as she put in the code one more time, completely negligent of what the Namekians were doing around her. Finally, something did happen. Her field of view was suddenly blocked by a massive text box, and she cringed back in surprise.
What a joy. She'd have to just deal with these two somehow and then figure out why this stupid error was happening later. She tried to click the close button on the error message to bring it down, but then realized something kind of important: she never installed a mouse pad into the suit. And this error message basically blocked 60% of her vision. "Uh, uh, guys, time ou-" she started to say in a panic, until she felt something massive slam into her from the side and knock her straight into a tree at high speeds. The arm of the giant Namekian? It looked big and green from the little of it she could see. The tree somehow didn't snap in half from the force of the impact, but Alva felt like she was going to. "Gak! I said time ou-" before she could finish her sentence, something else slammed into her, though she couldn't see what this one was at all.
The force of what she assumed might have been a ki blast launched her right through the tree and toppled the giant plant over, sending Alva hurtling back several dozen yards until she skidded to a stop. "...Ow." she mumbled with a groan as she slowly stood back up. Half a dozen other error messages began to pop up on her view as the suit had taken quite a massive hit back there. Hopefully those other two could just keep each other occupied for a bit as the girl removed her helmet so she could actually see and began to run a diagnostics test with the error code provided. "This sucks," she frustratedly mumbled.

Pallida's hit was deemed partially successful, making direct contact with Alva, but failing to make any sort of contact with Cello after a fancy evasive maneuver. Upon hitting Alva, Pallida turned to find the person experiencing issues with the specialized armor that they were wearing. Pallida made a note. Cello then made a shot at Alva before lunging at Pallida to strike him. Just as the hit was about to land, Pallida elongated his arm toward the foe, attempting to make them fall from the air like a comet. Whether or not he was successful, he would speak to Cello soon after. "Brother, try not to hit the human with anything. They seem to be experiencing some sort of problem with their technological armor piece. Send it at me!"
Yet another putty punch, but with an important message to boot. I will not attack Alva until they are ready.
Cello bolted towards Pallida but the other Namekian sprung his arm towards him. Cello stopped his advance to evade Pallida’s strike, about to return a blast in its stead but he held his peace to see what his brother was saying. Pallida informed him that their human companion was having issue with her technology. Cello turned to look at what was going on with her. He set there in the midst of a battlefield typing away at her controls from her arm and upon her helmet.
”Heh, your technology deceives you.” But Cello had mercy on her, knowing that though she wasn’t up to their level, her machine could prove dangerous once it was repaired. Experiencing these cybernetics would prepare Cello to combat more mechanical enemies. ”We will wait on you to finish your modifications and fight amongst ourselves until you are finished. Just jump in when you are done!”, exclaimed Cello to the Earthling as he turned his head back towards his brother. ”Now, where were we?”, asked Cello as his power surged and he bolted back towards Pallida in a zig-zag motion to evade any incoming attacks, knowing his brother’s go to was stretching his appendages to attack and defend.
Once, he made it to his mark, he would release three open palm strikes directly towards Pallida’s face, followed by a roundhouse kick, aimed at his enlarged temple. He was sure his brother was more than talented enough to deflect or dodge his blows but he wished to gauge his skill. Cello hope that he wouldn’t be disappointed.
After his initial onslaught, Cello would follow through with a powerful punch, aimed at Pallida’s midsection. ”Let’s go!”
"Uh, thanks," Alva said with an awkward chuckle as the two slug men told her they'd not be attacking her until she managed to fix her dang suit. If they decided to attack her now then they'd probably quite literally kill her no matter how much they pulled their punches, considering the weaker of the two was still around 7,600 times more powerful than she was outside her suit. "You guys just, uh," she started to say, though she stopped when she looked up and saw the pair of Namekians began to clash quite ferociously, throwing out punch after punch and taking hits like champs. This was their idea of a "practice bout"? If Alva didn't know any better, she'd have thought they were seriously trying to kill each other. But she'd wasted enough time watching: it was time to fix her suit.
The blue eyed girl plopped her helmet back on over her head and started trying to deal with all the error messages that popped up. "What even is this one?" she mumbled as she squinted at the text. It said something about... A fatal error? The text became all jumbled and barely even looked like it was English letters anymore. And she couldn't even click out of the errors and just ignore them, cause of course she just hadn't thought about the possibility of needing a mouse pad. Or at least something to clear the clutter on the visor. After looking around through the gibberish, she finally found one she could read pretty clearly.
"I just have to type that code in?" she mumbled to no one in particular as she read it out and then took off her helmet so she could see the keypad. "2... 4..." she muttered, tapping out the keys. Nothing happened for a moment after she'd finished, but then a little beep played, followed by a robotic sounding voice. "Test commencing. Ejecting pilot." Wait, what? "No, wait, don't eject, doN'T EJEC-" The SU-1T's chest suddenly sprung open, and the legs stood themselves up against Alva's will, and before she could say anything, she was launched way up into the air. Well, maybe it was only a few yards or so, but it was still far higher than she was comfortable being without her suit. "DAAAMMIIITT!" she yelled out while she flew through the air, unceremoniously coming to a crash landing a few dozen yards away from her suit.
"...I don't even remember including an ejection function," she frustratedly thought while she lifted her head up. Right in front of her face was a humongous foot. She was pretty sure she knew who that belonged to. "uh," she nervously said as she looked up at the giant Namekian and over to the other one. "You guys, uh, just don't mind me, still, um, workin' on the suit. Heheh." She turned herself over and started to drag herself through the grass back towards her suit, which seemed annoyingly far away. "This sucks," she grumbled. She felt like she'd been saying that a lot in the past few minutes.
Cello managed to evade the blow before launching yet another attack. Pallida knew one thing, if any, that being that his opponent would be open after his attacks. He precisely blocked the hits to his head, but allowed himself to be hit in the midsection. The hit hurt, of course, but it gave him a valuable tactical advantage. As soon as the hit landed, Pallida charged his eye lasers and shouted. "Eye Beams!" he would shout as two beams propulsed forward from his eyes. He knew that the only way this person could dodge would be if they had some technique similar to his own.
OOC: Before I give tech info, Cello, remember that you recover KP if you don't use a tech. You also need to list any techs you do, along with percent damage. I literally thought you were using a basic ki ball, something inherent to all the characters here. If you were, though, ki balls don't use KP. N1's do though.
Pallida used [UP2] Eye Beams with intent to damage. 66% of 38120 = 25159 PL in damage If allowed to hit, will cause slight damage along with scrapes, bruises, and other damage marks.
KP: 1/3 (-2 KP for UP2 usage)
Last Edit: Mar 20, 2018 5:50:20 GMT -6 by Deleted: fixed OOC and added KP
As the beams struck, Pallida lost track of his target. The newfound Namekian seemed to simply disappear into the smoke, with both his power and being undetectable. Without thinking, Pallida turned to the human sitting on the ground. "What happened to them? Did I... no. I... I have to go for now. There are things I must do. Until then!" Pallida quickly flew off, leaving the forest behind.
OOC: I'm gonna exit, no activity for too long makes a bad Pallida. You guys are free to continue if you want.
