Personality - Bell's family is the same as ever, Just a bunch of light-hearted, easily angered assholes. Though Bell VIII is a bit more on the tamer side of his family, He's still as sarcastic and rude as his 7 predecessors. He is a lot quieter than most of his loudmouthed relatives, but ultimately, he is the closest to the original Bell in these past few generations, Inheriting his ancestor's battle "Genius". The only other thing that sets him apart from Bell the 1st is a familial bond, something Bell (1st) only had with his grandfather, something Bell (VIII) shares with his many brothers, sisters, and guardians.
A Brief History - The Pepper family has, for quite a few years now been living luxurious lives as "Elites" of the Saiyan kingdom. From the foundations set by Bell the 1st and his descendants, they went from a family of halfbreed farmers to some of the most powerful nobles in all the kingdom (or empire as it was called back then).
Over time, the family became more noble-like, still keeping hints of their old selves, but adapting to fit the ideal role of an elite. They became tougher and more educated, forgetting their roots as farmers and focusing on dumb garbage Elites would do, arranged marriages, exquisite parties, learning multiple languages, stuff Bell the 8th had no interest in (though he did eventually learn how to speak a bit of namekian. Unfortunately, he doesn't put this knowledge to very good use, seeing as his most used word in the dialect is-)
Bell VIII Stuck as closely to his roots as possible, rejecting the idea of marriage and parties, instead, wanting to actively pursue a military career like his older siblings as soon as possible.
After a bit of convincing, at the age of 14 Bell enrolled into the Military academy on Vegeta, blitzing through his studies and ravaging through every obstacle. Not two years passed before, At 16, he graduated and was stationed on his home planet of Shikk, Becoming a commander on the said planet within the next 4 years.
When Vegeta was attacked, so too was the case for Shikk. Though, seemingly due to the general "unimportantness" of the planet, it wasn't hit with a large force. The battle nonetheless was a bloody one, Ending in a WTF withdrawal only after Vegeta had fallen.
Bell was perhaps one of the few people ecstatic about the war, having been the commander of a relatively quiet garrison for nearly 4 years without any action. Without consulting his family, He had made up his mind to fight at the front of this war.
Bell resigned as a Commander and immediately set out to earth, a known regroup spot for the Saiyan Army that fought on Vegeta.
That brings us to the present, with Bell laying in his pod, quietly anticipating the upcoming war with a large dose of amusement, a blue and green Sphere insight... Earth.
