Getting Down To Business
Cobane - 4,234
Base Form (x1)
One thud. Two thuds. Three thuds. The sound of a fist against trees rang across the silent skies, scaring a few birds as the young assassin worked his bones, trying to rekindle lost time. The boy stared down a beaten tree, punching, kicking, bashing living wood into falling, ever so slowly with time. As the tree met it’s slow fall, the Doragon side stepped out of the way and looked at the two trees he had toppled before. It had been lacking in effort, those past few, but he still got them down. Now, he was starting to feel like some combat.
The boy took a running start, then immediately sparked flight, aiming for a clearing not too far from his training spot. The nearby lands were all plush grass and pine trees, not to mention large patches of bamboo scattered all around the place. It WAS called bamboo forest, after all. The Doragon scanned for a while, eyeing up and down, left and right, finally finding a dirt path along the forest that made for a good place to practice some martial arts.
The hooded boy removed his scarf, then his cloak, which exposed his black hair that reflected blue in the sun. The mid-spring late morning was a beautiful scene. The sky was filled with puffy, white clouds that recreated children’s dreams as they floated by. Bird sang songs of ancient mystery, all that call for mates and sometimes friends for a nice roost in the nest. Conditions were perfect for a picnic, if you were into that. As a child, Cobane would picnic all the time, but sadly he does not remember his childhood. He probably never will, nor want to. All he cared about now was his studies and training, nothing else.
The young adult kicked a foot back, scraping up dirt as he got into a fighting stance, one very uncommon to the eye. It was as if he was imitating a wolf, fingers pointed out like claws as he brought one hand above his body, another hovering just in front of his chest. There was silence for just a moment, then a grunt. The dragon man threw a claw forward swiftly, followed by a mighty sideways kick, and ended with a turn, another claw coming from the side. As he did so, the sounds of his pocket items flung around on his belt. Kais, this would be more interesting with someone else...
