Summary //
An alien traveler belonging to a near-human species from the fringes of the galaxy, Lumenar has recently made her way to Earth after growing bored of the minor conflicts she had been participating in as a mercenary. Wielding a powerful sword stolen from her tribe's most storied warrior, she blends a wealth of combat experience with her species' natural inclination towards energy use to strike an intimidating figure on the battlefield. Though far from the most powerful alien to arrive on Earth, her lust for combat has instilled upon her a dedication to self-improvement that should serve her well in matching up against the planet's more powerful defenders.
On the whole, Lumenar's motivations are selfish. Though not evil per se, she is dedicated to fulfilling her own desires even at the expense of others. For this reason, she will often find herself on the wrong side of many conflicts, preferring to side with aggressors who can guarantee more frequent combat over those whom they threaten. Even so, she retains a loose moral code for herself which she finds it difficult to breech, however tempting it may be. For this reason, while she finds little issue with causing physical or emotional damage in seeking out new challenges and experiences for herself, she often stops short of harming innocents, and tends to extend mercy towards those weaker than her.

Appearance //
Lumenar stands slightly taller than the average earthling woman, with a lean but athletic build. She has long, dark brown-to-black hair which she wears loose, reaching just past her shoulders. Her eyes are a deep green and tend to have a rather intent, even piercing look to them. Her demeanor is proud at best and stiff at worst, as she carries herself in an upright and often haughty manner.
While her appearance for the most part resembles that of a human, her attire certainly doesn't, as she tends to wear a battle-suit originating from her home planet. This is usually comprised of a black or green cloth tabard atop a flexible, pale green suit with matching black boots and gloves. A single, white shoulder-pad is most often worn along with a plain white belt. She is almost never seen without a simplistic-looking, single-handed sword. More recently, she has taken to carrying a second, blunted training sword of a much more Earthling design.
Species Lore //
As a near-human race, the Venandin are aesthetically unremarkable when compared to visually-similar aliens. Their culture does appear to be distinct, however, as it revolves around three main ideological thrusts: a lust for combat, a drive for exploration, and a tradition of craftsmanship. Though much of their recent history has been lost, their focus on exploration has notably fallen to the wayside as tribes increasingly orient themselves under the twin pillars of combat and crafts. A radically meritocratic people, they usually elect two leaders: the finest warrior or tactician to represent the interest of their warriors, and the most capable craftsman to represent the interest of their artisans. With equal political authority given to each, this has led to political deadlock in many tribes that has only served to worsen the already-volatile situation most of their communities suffer through. It is for this reason that many young Venandin strike out on their own, occupying the lower ranks in the armies of various warlords across the stars.

Species Traits //
UNSTABLE POWER (RAMPANT): Although Venandin tend to possess high potential, their natural abilities require tremendous discipline. Attempting to tap into the one's deeper, internal powers without first learning to focus their energy properly to sustain the effort can lead to great danger, physically and mentally.

NATURAL TALENT (JUMPSTART): Venandin are a species with a natural inclination towards controlling their energy. From a young age, Venandin being trained as warriors are taught to harness their energy in the form of combat techniques.

HIDDEN POWER (VIGOR): The depths of this species' power runs deep, and although a certain measure of mastery is required to tease out their full potential, with tremendous effort they can push themselves to output more energy than they appear otherwise capable. Doing this takes its toll and can only be done rarely, requiring intense physical hardship.

OFFENSIVE TECHNIQUES
[N1] Galaxy Blade (Ki-Infused Melee Attack): Lumenar channels ki into her sword, causing it to radiate with white energy, empowering her next blow. Deals 33% of your current PL in damage.
[UP2] Empowered Galaxy Blade (Super Ki-Infused Melee Attack): Lumenar channels ki into her sword, causing it to radiate with white energy, empowering her next blow. This variant outputs more energy than its baseline counterpart. Deals 66% of your current PL in damage.
[MP3] Final Galaxy Blade (Ultra Ki-Infused Melee Attack): Lumenar channels ki into her sword, causing it to radiate with red energy, empowering her next blow. This represents the final evolution of her "Galaxy Blade" tree of attacks, possessing the greatest destructive power of the three. Deals 100% of your current PL in damage.
[SIG] Galaxy Blade Flurry: By gaining more control over her Galaxy Blade technique, Lumenar is able to unleash a flurry of blows. Though this forces her to cut the power of individual swings, together they form a much more potent attack, outputting more energy than previous variants. Deals 133% of your current PL in damage.

UTILITY TECHNIQUES
Energy Sensing [UT]: Via some method you are capable of feeling the natural energy of living beings, you have an understanding of the power level of other non-android warriors and can feel the power of the attacks they are using compared to your own. This technique is Passive not requiring activation and uses 0 KP in a KP Battle, Energy Sensing does not work on Androids.
Multi-Form [UT1]: Through this technique you can create a copy of yourself dividing your power evenly between yourself and the copy (50% each)
Control Power [UT]: Through careful training, Lumenar is able to effectively control the power of her first transformation.

Transformations //
As with many alien races, Venandin possess an inherent ability to transform, unlocking their power progressively. Though most Venandin are only capable of harnessing their energy in the form of their first transformation, named Astral Soul, some have managed to step beyond this. The exact details around many of these transformations are, as of yet, unknown.
ASTRAL SOUL - x2 Multiplier - Starter PL - Temporary: The most commonly accessible form, Astral Soul is more of a simple power unlock than a transformation, allowing the user to amplify their power twofold. Without significant training, this can cause physical and mental deterioration, including leading the user to lose control of their actions.
