Twelve busy men in tattered clothing thronged along a dock lined with patchwork awnings and weathered vessels. They carried large metallic cylinders that had taken to the rust, hauling them along as if they were coffins. These rough edged pallbearers strained as they rushed past a group of men wearing crimson red uniforms purchasing alien weapons from a three toothed brenchian. They walked by an assortment of ladies locked in cages and a majin with a bulging belly that was peddling them to a pervert. As they came further down the docks one of the men in the front of the second cylinder stumbled: a rotted plank snapped under the pressure of his foot. The group of six lost control and the roughnecks fell into the water with the tube tumbling along with them. They splashed down into the water with one of the six being struck by the container and sunk down to the bottom with it while the others panicked and tried to retrieve it.
The first group of haulers continued along the way down the winding path of rickety planks. They came to a stop at a larger building that was made from the capsized belly of a ship with cloth draped over the side and ladders the lead into various floors. Standing outside was a man in a black garb that covered most of his azure skin. By the side of him was a man wearing a blue headdress that stood nearly seven feet, towering over the shadowy figure. The tall man looked angry as the men approached with the first hunk of metal, they rushed forward and set it down vertically.
“Where is the other one?” the tall man said in a shrill tone. “The other group dropped it in the water, boss!” one of the burly men said. “W-What? Go get it out of there, you better drown if you come back here without it!”
The six men gasped and began running back towards the location of their fallen compatriots in a sprint. They breezed by various tenants and tourists of the shady bazaar.
“Ahem. There is a bit of a delay on the second one, master Oboroz,” the man in the blue turban reported. “I have no use for damaged goods, Hau,” Oboroz replied, crossing his arms. “I assure you they are of the best quality, totally waterproof,” Hau replied. “I have need of only one anyways, just show me this one.” “But… well, Okay…” the merchant said, afraid he might lose his sale completely.
Hau snapped his fingers and another muscled servant appeared from within the large boathouse. He pointed to a handle on that opened up the door to the cylindrical container, and the handy man grabbed it and strained it open. When he did so, the first thing that Oboroz saw was a pair of feet. After his eyes adjusted, he looked down to see what appeared to be a young man with crimson hair that lay dormant like a doll in the position of a sleeping bat.
“IT IS UPSIDE DOWN YOU IDIOT!” the merchant yelled at the henchman while clenching his fist. “I didn’t do it boss!” the man replied. “It doesn’t matter… just turn it on... let me see what it can do,” Oboroz said. “Yes Master Oboroz, of course!” Hau said, hastily reaching down to press at the upside down on button sealed inside of the container.
They set your container upside down :D. 10k thread pl @tangen

Energy flowed through his system...an odd humming sound was heard for a moment as the mechanisms that were holding the android began to unlock. His eyes slowly opened, revealing an emotionless, silver set of eyes. Those eyes however widened a bit as they began to shift into an scarlet hue. Finally, the mechanisms that held Tangen unlocked, releasing a sharp burst of air as it did so.
"Eh--" The android was released, flopping into the rotten wood floors of the hull from the former ship. He lied there for a moment, his auburn hair sprawled out against the flooring. Placing one hand on the floor, he slowly stood up, a dumb smile on his face. He stared at the group of men, tilting his head curiously. "...I don't see my creator anywhere....how long has it been?"

Oboroz squinted at the auburn android. It was of a fine craftsmanship, and he could not truly tell the difference between itself and a human. The smile on his face seemed to be a default, which could be troublesome, but at the same time it could be an advantage.
“It should serve its purpose well enough,” Oboroz said, crossing his arms. “You humans are usually more trusting of your own kind,” he continued, failing to acknowledge that human blood ran through his own veins. “But I don’t trust humans as henchman.”
“Absolutely Master Oboroz, a definite bargain,” Hau replied while the human tugged at his collar nervously. It didn’t seem that either of the two had the courtesy to answer the question that the android himself had posed to them. They spoke of him as if he were an object for sale, nothing more.
“But I have two other requirements. One is loyalty, which I can cover with this obedience chip,” he said raising a tiny black microchip in his hand. His last subordinate had been foolish enough to make an attempt on his life, he trusted that with a machine he would not have to deal with such problems. “The other is combat efficiency.” “I assure you the model is quite capable!” “I’m not buying without a field test.”
Setting you up for an interjection!

"Hm?" Tangen tilted his head innocently, a finger going ahead to scratch the top of it. Did they not hear him? Ah, no matter! He could figure that out later. He knew his creator looked pretty worried about something before he shut him off. Though, he knew that it could have been days, weeks, months, or even years since he's been deactivated! He'd have to figure out the time and date asap if he were to get to the bottom of what was going on.
The teenage looking android looked at the strange man who...appeared to be buying him oddly, his smile still glued to his face. "An obedience chip?" Tangen chuckled, his facial expression barely changing. "Is that a new program to give my fealty to you? Okay! You can insert it down here!" Tangen pointed to....well an awkward place, giving a long dreadful pause before chuckling again. "Haha, kidding! There's a slot on the back of my neck! I can open it if you'd like! My creator named me Tangen, so I guess that's the name."
His eyebrows raised in surprise as he heard Oboroz request a combat test to see how well Tangen did when it comes to battle. "Ooh! Combat? Okay. One second...I'm not currently up to date with that, let me download some data on the concept of battle." And with that, a transparent layer of a computer screen would appear over Tangent's eyes. Mountains of words began to scroll and scroll as Tangen stood there, still wearing that dumb smile of his. "Okay. It's done! What do I have to do guys?"

The auburn android seemed to be more excited than Oboroz had anticipated. The makyan shinobi brought his hand up to his cowl and adjusted it around his mouth as he took a half step back away from the machine.
“Its personality programming is odd,” Oboroz said. “Who was the manufacturer, exactly?” “That I can’t say,” Hau replied. “As with many things in my bazaar, it was brought here by a third party.” “Ah yes, you must get quite a bargain from the crooks,” Oboroz replied. Hau scowled at this statement, but said nothing in response to it.
Oboroz approached the android. It seemed more than willing to follow any command given to it, and for a moment he considered not implanting the chip. If the android would follow any order though, it would mean that his enemies might be able to take advantage of the machines nature. “Open the slot up, android,” Oboroz replied while holding the chip in his hand.
“Wait-” Hau interjected. “You need to pay first!”
“Hmph, very well… let’s see what the android can do then,” Oboroz replied. A bold idea came to the Makyan’s mind. “Kill him,” Oboroz said, pointing at Hau. Hau’s mouth dropped open wide as he reached for a scimitar that hung from the left side of his belt.
"W-why?" Hau begged.
"Nothing personal, you've just racked up quite a bounty. It is time to cash in on you, old friend," Oboroz said crossing his arms.

"Huh? Oh, okay, sure." Smiling, a sliding sound would be heard as if a slot has been opened. Tangen stood there, staring blankly at Oboroz as the man who appeared to be selling the android began getting frustrated, asking for payment. And then Oboroz shot back, and in doing so, gave Tangen his first combat test. It was a long dreadful pause as Tangen slowly turned his head to face the merchant. His seemingly cold, silver eyes, slowly gazed down to stare at the scimitar. "Huh...?" Looking back at Oboroz, he scratched his head, chuckling awkwardly. "I thought I was supposed to be tested...is this what humans call a prank?"
His smile suddenly grew wider while his eyes began to squint slightly, giving the auburn haired android a more hostile look. "Okay then...I guess this'll have to do..." Tangen stood still for a moment, eyeing him and the guards behind him. Leaning forward just slightly, the wood would creak before the android vanished in a flash. He appeared right in front of the cut throat merchant, his shoulder aligned with his. In an instant, the android attempted to throw his arm into Hau's chest, piercing it immediately should he succeed. His hand outstretched behind his back, standing in that pose for a few moments before muttering, "...Huh...that was softer than I expected it to be..." His default smile, still lingering on his face. He pulled his arm back, blood dripping off his arm and completely spilling out the old merchant's chest, dripping and soaking the old flooring. He looked back at Oboroz, closing his eyes with a cheerful smile as he cocked his head. "Done~."

“Good…” Oboroz said as he watched the disemboweled dealer squirming around on the floor. He drew a small blade from his belt and snipped off the man’s left ear before kicking the human off of the rickety boardwalk and into the water below. The sound of a horn blowing from the husk of the ship above came even before the man did a belly-less flop into the ocean. The sound of shouting men and panic filled the air as people rushed towards the docks. Oboroz withdrew several shuriken into his free hand as Hau’s men scrambled to muster at various locations around the dock, leaders getting word of the demon’s treachery over handheld radios. They would not leave here without a fight, it seemed.
“Normally, I am not so bold,” Oboroz explained. “But I know that Hau was working with my last apprentice, they thought they’d cash in on me,” he finished. He didn’t know why he was bothering to talk to the smiling AI, it was just a machine after all. “What do I call you, android?”
Oboroz himself approached the android, he made an attempt to slide his obedience chip into the slot that the machine had opened up.

"Eh?" With a confused gaze, Tangen turned his head only to be met with the sight of a bunch of men running onto the docks. "Huh...well I'll be a chicken ridin' a rooster!" The android joked, slipping in a southern accent into it for more emphasis. He didn't really think any of them were a threat. In fact..couldn't he just blast the pillars of the dock and send the whole thing crashing down into the polluted waters? If that was the case, he and Oboroz could just fly as they watched their enemies splash around angrily. And if his boss couldn't fly, well then he'd just carry the guy. But that wouldn't be as fun as just killing them now would it?
Tangen looked at Oboroz, giving a confused look for a moment, even pouting for a split second. Oboroz's newfound subordinate then laughed, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. "Gee, ahaha! I can't believe you forgot my name already, boss!" He closed his eyes, flashing an eerily warm smile. "You can call me Tangen, Mr. Boss Man sir~!" The oranged haired droid didn't make a move when Oboroz approached him with the chip. He just stood there smiling stupidly as they made conversation. Suddenly, he felt his body take the chip in on its own. The slot closed, and the chip began to process through his systems.
"Egh!" He twitched, that odd grin still on his face as the information processed through him. Random jolts and quivers were happening to the android, and it could have been worrisome as it looked like his systems may have gotten fried. But, really, it was just a short circuit and in just no time at all, he stood there, good as new! "Well....that was uncomfortable. Ahaha!" Smirking slyly, the android's cold silver gaze scanned his enemies, looking at every which way they were coming from. "Well, what do you think we should do boss?"

The demon winced a bit as the android's quirkiness came to light, especially as he finished his strange saying about fowl relations. Despite how much it might make him cringe, he knew that he needed the personality for certain missions. He was too grumpy to fake a smile before burying a knife in someone's back himself.
“Show me if you were worth the zeni I didn’t spend on you, Tangen,” Oboroz replied with his arms crossed. He would not apologize for forgetting that the android had given his name, he had in fact not even been paying attention to the machine when he was bust with Hau. The makyan shinobi would not give the android the courtesy of giving him his own name, but his name had been in the programming of the obedience chip, along with that of the organization known as Black Water and the coordinates of their secret base in the east. “Kill the men, but do your best not to damage the property… we can sell it,” he said.
He paced forward and pointed at a nice looking, yet antiquated wooden ship with the carving of a large dragon on the forepeak.
“I have always admired the craftsmanship of Mr. Hau’s ship, the Octopapa,” Oboroz said. “We can use it to store cargo after you’ve gotten rid of any distractions. Speaking of which, it seems they have mustered their courage.”
A stampede of scimitar wielding mooks let out a battle cry as they scrambled down the docks. They would be upon the two in a matter of moments, but Oboroz saw no signs of interfering. It would seem he was still testing out Tangen’s capabilities.

Tangen smiled brightly, completely naive and showing an unorthodox emotion that one might show after a response like that;and that was just a cheerful smile. "Don't worry boss! I'll definitely show how much zeni I would have costed! It'll be a ton! Just you wait and see sir!" He snickered happily, eyeing the men as they ran towards their spot on the dock. Being a robot and all meant you were devoid of emotion...you know, being made of cold hard metal and all. But despite the fact, he still felt some sort of excitement when it came to getting ready to kill these men.
Suddenly, he looked at his boss with a disappointed frown. "Aaah, whaaat?" Slouching, his face drooped. "I can't break anything? Well that makes this a bit more of a nuisance!" He smiled brightly, pivoting on his heel to face his new, half courageous opponents. Fear was definitely written on their face-after all, he did just move at blinding speeds and shove a hand through their bosses chest. "Alright then! Let's do it, yeah?! Come on boss!" He was about to dash forward but stopped, bouncing a bit a he lost his balance. The auburn haired android looked confused for a moment, tilting his head curiously at Oboroz before a sudden realization struck his head. "Oh. So that's what was going on...." The droid thought. "So killing that weird cut throat was just a pretest, eh?"
The boy smirked, his hands in his pockets as he lazily looked around, a sly smirk plastered to his face. "Come on then! If you aren't going to come at me, I'll just come at you, ya know!" And with that, the cutthroat unprincipled gangsters rushed at the two, namely the main aggressor which was, of course, Tangen. Oboroz's subordinate hummed as he weaved and avoided every swing of a sword, bat, plank, or even fist so gracefully that it looked like this fight scene was orchestrated from a movie!
Tangen leaned back, pushing his elbow back and striking one of the men in the gut forcefully causing him to spit up a wad of blood, standing there frozen, stunned by the lack of air as well as shock and pain. Another one of those scum tried to take this opportunity to slice Tangen's head clean off! The android flashed a toothy grin, seeing the blade come down to him. Laughing, he used his free hand as he spun around and pushed the man who he elbowed into the direction of the blade. The scimitar sliced right against the man producing a large gash on his chest. He cried out in pain, falling on the board of the dock.
"You gotta learn where you swing that thing man!" Tangen joked, smiling rather kindly at the savaged looking pirate. "DAMN YOU!" He screamed, rushing at Tangen. The corner of Tangen's mouth curled up ever so slightly as the pirate did so. A yellow ball of ki formed in his hand as the criminal rushed forward. He swung the sword down at Tangen, to which case he swiftly avoided it. Using the cut throats momentum, he shoved his hand which held the ki blast into his gut, lifting him over his head and throwing him into the polluted black waters behind him, scorching his gut.
The android laughed as if he were having the time of his life. "So this is what my data base recorded as...fun." Looking at the guy who had a gash in his chest, he squatted down, gripping his hair. "Alright...I don't feel like throwing you over so...I'll just knock you through the docks." Lifting the whimpering mans head, he prepared to bust him through the old wooded flooring of the place before he stopped, just inches away from slamming him through. "Oh...right. I can't damage this place...ah, oh well. Tell you what..."
Tangen helped him up while the other pirates watched nervously, gripping their blades and bats as tightly as they could. "You guys can't win! I've done a highly calculated check and my data base recorded that the probability of us losing here is about as slim to none! My systems found out that we have a better chance of getting struck with lightning at the same time as getting hit by a professional sports team's travel bus." The gangsters stared at him, a jab at their pride clearly evident. What did he want? "So I'll make a proposition! Haha! Whoever kills this man first will get to live and work with-wait no, for the boss. As a matter a fact, if you want to live, you can choose that and then kill the others who'd rather fight for their pride. Oh-and this guy too." And with that, Tangen shoved the wounded man into the crowd of cut throats, watching to see what'll happen.

Oboroz watched patiently as the android made his move against the lot of swashbucklers and cutthroats, his arms crossed as he leaned himself against the shadowy side of a wooden pole that held up a section of the ramshackle dock. He brought his left hand to his chin as he pondered the actions of the android, seeming to offer a sort of amnesty to those who would turn against their fellow scum bag to serve him instead.
“Impressive…” Oboroz muttered to himself. The AI of the machine had seemed to pick up on his desire to gain assets to further the cause. Oboroz wasn’t sure how many of these pathetic buccaneers he would truly wish to hire, but Lady Conica was always looking for new subjects to experiment on at least. For the time being they could help load cargo onto the Octopapa.
And it had seemed the android was able to successfully turn the men upon themselves.
“I saw what he did to Lord Hau, this is pointless!” a smaller muscle bound man said. “How dare you betray us!” another replied. “Lord Hau was just another boss,” another replied.
Soon the men began peeling away from one another. One of the men on one side jumped towards the wounded man in Tangen’s arms and cut him across the stomach.
“I am safe now!” he said with a cheer.
This action seemed to add more fuel to the fire as the two sides began to fight among each other, swinging blunt weapons and blades at one another. Oboroz however did not stand idly. He vanished for a moment and reappeared in the air a few feet above the rabble.
“Tangen. Kill the ones who betrayed their master before his body even became cold,” Oboroz demanded. “Perhaps we can put the ones of stronger will to use after they spend some time being reconditioned.”

Tangen blinked, seeing the man jump the gun and slice the wounded cut throat right across the chest immediately. "Oh wow..." He muttered to himself in bemusement. That was rather fast! And that action seemed to further the chaos spread across the criminals! Everyone was at each others throats talking about what was right and what was wrong, but it seemed that the latter was turning into Tangen's favor. Or least it was up until the android received a new order from his boss.
A wry grin spread across his lips, giggling like a child getting a present for Christmas. "...Hehe~! No problem boss man!" The men looked at Tangen, both in fear and confusion. "W-WE LISTENED! WE DID AS YOU ASKED Y-YOU BASTARD!" Tangen scratched his head, a hand placed on his hip as he walked towards them, taking slow, calculated steps to further increase the growing tension between them. "I knowww, I knowww...." He sighed, smiling as he closed his eyes while shaking his head. "But it isn't my call. Orders are orders you know? You can talk to Mr. Oboroz if you have any issues with it..." He shrugged.
A whirring sound was heard as his engines began to fire up. His auburn hair rose ever so slightly as he narrowed his silver eyes, calculating which targets to strike. In a moments notice, his figure seemed to flicker...but it was still there. "AGH!" In the back of the crowd, a man dropped to the rotting floors of the docks with blood leaking out his chest. A flickering image of Tangen stood there with his arm outstretched. "EGH!" Another man dropped suffering the same fate...along with another, and another, the old images of the android slowly flickering away. Eventually, all that was left was the minority-the loyal, confused, frightened men. In practically no time at all, Tangen flickered right beside Oboroz, exhaling softly as if he just went for a jog. "Pheww~! Done and done! Just like you asked Mr. Boss man sir!" ---

Oboroz watched from his position in the air as the android killed off the least loyal of Hau’s men. After the display, even those who had remained loyal were cowering amongst themselves at the androids performance.
“That will suffice, Tangen,” Oboroz said as he landed upon the ground. He then reached into his coat and flung a plethora of shuriken from his vestments that carefully knocked the arms out of the hands of the faithful thugs that remained. “The rest of you are mine now,” Oboroz said firmly. “You will not be granted death if you resist, only suffering,” he explained.
Despite his warning one of the loyalists began rushing foolishly towards the shinobi. Oboroz moved to bend his knees back and made a beak like gesture with his rear paw. As the man drew near to make a clumsy strike, the demon lunged his hand forward and plucked out the man’s left eye. The man let out a blood curdling scream and fell to the ground, but the makyan quickly reached down and used the slightest bit of ki to cauterize it.
“You're all going to my dungeon, how many body parts you have when you get there is your decision,” the demon threatened. “Now, help the android load the ship with as much gold and jewels as it can carry,” he demanded. The men hesitantly nodded their heads as they looked down at the man who was still rolling in pain. Oboroz himself threw the eye into the water like a used candy wrapper.
Sorry if this was a bit of an eyesore.
