Flo, an Arcosian Lord and a total scumbag, really didn’t know what was coming to him. Mal got a Bounty request to haul his ass to justice, whatever justice meant to her or them. There was plenty of proof of this guy’s wrongdoings, too, how he stole from other Fleet Lords, and how he killed here on Earth and back on Arcose indiscriminately. Well, he was gonna pay, one way or another. And, hey, maybe this time she’d earn some brownie points with her new associate, too. After all, if she managed to subdue Flo and get him to the Patrol, it might just help impress new crowd. “You are going down,” she said quietly, pulling herself up and into a cave that led to the other side of the mountain. It was a shortcut she discovered a little while ago while exploring with a bunch of others. She always meant to come back here, just not like this. But, hey, two birds with one stone, or whatever. Drying herself off with her Ki, Mal headed for the exit and spotted the opening of another cave further down. This one she came out of was almost impossible to spot, she noted, not worrying about finding it again later. If all went well, she wouldn’t need to. Instead, she headed for the other cave, noting how it seemed to glow with an eerie blue light from within. Great, just great, this guy was so totally home and she had to do this the hard way instead of setting some sort of trap or something. While she preferred humane ways of taking these guys out, she’d beat ‘em senseless, too, if push came to shove. Pulling her energy gun free of its holster at the small of her back, she preferred to have it in hand rather than not at times like these. Thread PL: 28k

That’s My Target! Cobane - 6,115 Wild Spirit - 24,460 PL
Cobane had been sent on orders to capture. It was a rare occasion to be sent on capture, and being the one to do so an honor. It meant respect within the ranks. Enough trust that you could hold onto a hostage that would most definitely fight back. The only real trouble was the capture itself. Guards, security, then the target usually fighting back, bribing you for life, or both. It definitely made it interesting.
Luckily, Cobane passed all the tests to a capture with no problem. Security in the place was light, allowing him to knock them out with ease, as well as break in and beat up the target, leading to tying him up and waiting for furthermore answers. The last thing to do was to shut off all the lights and scatter evidence… Wait, what was that?
There was a sound from across the cave, a sound that Cobane knew too well. Someone was advancing, and quietly. It took an assassin to know an assassin. If he wanted to me as suspicious as possible, he’d turn the light of as whoever this guy approached, which would set them into a red alert. It was better to just sneak out the back.
The Doragon shoved a sock in the Arcosian’s mouth, then wrapped a bandana around it as to prevent him from spitting it out in case he woke up. The only thing to do now was to scout. Cobane got into a low crouch and swiftly exited through the side entrance that had been covered by a stalactite while he slipped his hood back on. The dragonborn slipped around the back of the cave and began to crawl topside.
The boy clinged desperately onto the ceiling as best as he could as he approached the site of a figure sneaking about with a pistol. Her power was high, in fact maybe even a little higher than Cobane’s, but so long as she was oblivious to him, he could catch her off guard. The assassin crawled to a point to be behind her before opening his jaw as wide as her could, a mixture of ice and ki that glowed with deadly intent.
Phoosh! The ice bomb shot at the assassin from behind, the missile aiming for her, refusing to miss…

Peering into the cave, she frowned. Where were all the guards, or the other people running errands? Wasn’t this dude supposed to be a big deal? It really didn’t feel that way to her. Taking her first step inside, she lowered her hand with the gun in it to her side, ready to bring it back up at a moment’s notice. But just like with guards and lay people, she found no sight of functional cameras. In fact, everything was just a little too quiet and she wondered for a brief moment if she were being set up. No, she trusted her sources. A small blip appeared on her scouter and she sighed at the fast moving dot. There were other, dull dots, signs of life, but none as powerful as this one was and even it wasn’t quite on her level. Closer than most she ran into, but still not quite there there. Most people didn’t look up and even if she didn’t have the scouter, Mal still would have. This time, though, she didn’t, letting this guy think he had the upper hand on her. As it got just close enough to be troublesome, Mal turned, eyes narrowing as the icy cold blast came barreling her way. She could dodge it, get out of its way, but that might waste precious energy she could need later. It took her in the shoulder and she let out a soft grunt, looking at how it ripped one of the straps of her tank top. “ This is my favorite shirt!” she said, and raised the gun again. Thinking it over, she amended the statement. “ It’s my only shirt…” She forgot she lost another in an explosion. To be honest, she counted her clothing as separate from those of her alter ego, and until she picked up replacement shirts for the ones lost in the line of fire, this was her only damn shirt. Maybe she could remake it into a one-shoulder kind of thing… For Mal, releasing her Ki wasn’t like summoning it, it felt more like finally letting it loose. It felt like uncurling a clenched fist that had been all wrapped up too long, relieving pressure as nails ceased digging into flesh. All over, purple static electricity crawled across her skin, crackling and fizzling, making the tiny hairs on the back her her arms stand on end. Her Ki rolled through her gun and into the normally blue energy blast, turning it to purple electricity that shot out and up towards her unknown foe. " What's your problem, anyway?" That’s My Target! Cobane - 6,115 Wild Spirit - 24,460 PL
The missile aimed straight for home, blasting the lady at the bottle with barely any needed effort. “Hmph…” He scoffed at how much effort he’d put into the attack. “What a waste of my time…” He sighed and checked his claws. “It seems that I’ll still be able to get back to base in time for- huh?” There was a spike of angry energy from the clustered dust flying through the air. Cobane didn’t need a scouter to tell this wanna going to go south.
“The hell…?!” A beam of electricity shot out at the fighter on the rocks, which startled his instincts. The Dragonborn made a mighty leap away in attempts to avoid the attack, but as the attack hit the walls, a mixture of rubble and aftermath lightning stung his back. Cobane was sent into a tumble straight into a small hole in the ground. He groaned as he laid there for a moment, but realizing where he was, he jolted back up to a stand and stood by the now half covered entrance of the cave.
“What’s my problem?! You walk into an enemy base with violent ki like that and you ask me what MY problem is?! For all I know, you could be here to steal my information!” Cobane played the guy she needed to capture, but only for a moment. His reptilian eyes focused the area in a scan. It was a cave, of course it would have many vantage points, but not enough to help him. “Why are you here? You aren’t working with the world trade fleet…”
