From the air, a certain chain of islands looked as ridiculously beautiful- more so than the other Southern tropics, the colors almost too intense to be true. Although the island couldn't have been more than half a mile wide, the sea had disappeared from view, lost behind a seemingly impenetrable screen of vegetation. Exotic birds that a passing saiyan had no idea existed peered down from the trees. There was the dazzling blue of the ocean beyond the damp forest, the immaculate white beaches, the rich, elemental green of the viney foliage behind Carro. If he wasn't stranded here, perhaps he'd be sitting back with a lemonade and enjoying the view.
Not too long ago he was relaxing with his colleague, Tianum, right aboard a luxury cruise ship that his Doragon friend's mother and father ran. He was grateful for the free vacation, but Carro would have backed out a lot sooner if he knew what was going to happen.
Earlier... Carro's heart hammered. How did a nice dip in the cruise ship's pool turn into this?! He stood, frozen in fear and staring over the edge of the ship as something seemed to fester and move below, the shadow below the water convulsing and shifting with no real rhyme or reason, almost like a school of fish. A sickening crack echoed as the ship began to descend and rip at an alarming pace, screams echoing as lifeboats below were sucked into the waters. The saiyan was about to run away himself, only for the ground to cave in beneath him, and he was sent into the waters below...
Carro wasn't sure what happened after that experience that he should have Zenkai'd from, but he woke up on this odd island after, stranded. He found more of the ship's passengers too. He wasn't sure how much time had passed- weeks, probably, but they had managed to make a makeshift village on the island, trying their best to just survive. Carro himself was on an expedition with a small party of volunteers that headed off to explore their new prison and try to find more survivors of the wreck.
The saiyan tried calling for help on his phone- no reception, and no battery only moments later. He scanned the skies for planes, the oceans for ships, still nothing. The smoke from their fires brought nobody else, and neither did their flashes of mirror light or ki into the skies. A few fighters had tried to fly out to find help, but despite claiming they continuously flew in only one direction away from the island, all of them came right back, confused as to what happened.
Honestly, he was beginning to fear he'd be trapped here for the rest of his days.
OOC: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This adventure-themed thread is open to four other people max besides myself. I'll sorta be the "DM" of the thread. Whether Carro finds you or you're in his little search party, either is cool with me.

Mal got bored really easily of the same scenery over and over and over again. This time, she paid someone to take her to some remote island in order to get some fresh perspective on things. There were a lot of things to think about, but almost as soon as the boat neared the island, the waves picked up and a storm raged outside. Someone screamed, a small, old lady. An android went overboard and began to sink, their heavy parts dragging them deeper and deeper into the ocean’s desperate depths.
Mal didn’t think, she just dove in after it, swimming down as fast as she could and finally reaching the heavy, metal body. Putting an arm around its middle she used her free hand to fire a Ki blast and propel her forward and up, up. Shore, it wasn’t that far off, and it looked a better destination than the ship which looked in worse shape than she left it in.
Fires blazed upon its docks and Mal swam with the android to the shore, lugging its cold frame onto the sand before looking back out and seeing if anyone else needed help. That was two days ago, and with no way off this rock, she began searching for food, shelter and fresh water other than what the rain provided. Now she was stuck in some wandering for what felt like ages when at last she ran into someone that wasn’t part of the boat that hauled her ass over here. “Um...hi,” she said to the Saiyan and the small group of people he had with him.

Bobbi hadn't remembered the reason why she even went on the boat ride. Perhaps it was by the suggestion of her family to take a vacation or she simply wanted to ride the cruise line and supervise the civilians under the guise of it being her work. Regardless of the reasoning, all she had remembered of the ride was the waves violently being tossed, the ship being cracked in half and lifeboats falling underneath the dark waves. Perhaps Bobbi had tried to help fight against the creature as well, however, she had no memory of it. The last thing she remembered was a force pushing her underneath the waves before she blacked out from lack of oxygen. It could have been hours or even days before the majin had awakened from her unintentional slumber. Despite the natural durability her race had, it still felt as if every cell in her body was aching. Where was she? Upon looking around, she had found herself washed up on the shore. Debris from the boat littered the pristine sand. Where was everyone? "Hello?" She called out. To her dismay, there was no response. Great. Perhaps if she flew around she could get a better view of the island.
Upon ascension, the majin quickly realized something was wrong. The world around her seemed to spin and in a few seconds, she planted headfirst into the ground. "Ugh." She said, spitting out a mouthful of sand. Her situation was getting worse as time passed. Stranded, without anyone else or her powers, Bobbi was unable to do anything but sit here and wait for help. This caused the majin's already terrible mood to become worse. For several days she had lived on her own with the makeshift shelter and small fire she had created. While the food wasn't a problem, Bobbi longed for sweets. However, there was no candies or baked goods on the island. Starring out to sea, the majin continued to sulk to herself while she waited for others to find her.

| HIGH TIDE |
Alva thought she was pretty lucky to have caught a ticket for a special cruise ship for half price. And, though she'd felt a little anxious about it, she decided to go and leave the SU-1T at home for the trip. Her father had to make a few repairs on it anyway, so this small vacation would be a well-earned and relaxing one. Well, it was supposed to be, anyway. Alva hadn't been expecting the ship to capsize. "I'm gonna freakin' die, and it's all because I wanted to relax," was the last thing Alva thought before she and her wheelchair were unceremoniously rolled off the side of the collapsing ship and into the waters of the ocean below. Everything after that was a blur of half drowning and barely keeping her head above the surface as she desperately tried to hang onto her wheelchair. It was way too expensive to replace, and from what she knew, her parents had pretty crappy insurance.
Next thing the girl knew, she was laying face down in the sand, and groggily lifted her head to see a lot more sand, as well as a bunch of other things you'd expect from a tropical setting. You know, palms trees, oceans, grass. Also, her wheelchair was tipped over right on the beach a few yards away from her. "Oh, thank goodness," she exhaustedly muttered. Nobody else was around, though. Not that she could see, at least. The young woman groaned as she lifted herself up off the sand and turned around to rest on her lower back. Now really would have been a good time to have working legs. She laid back down and caught her breat for a few minutes, squeezing the water out of her shirt and pants before dragging herself over to the tipped over chair. "Okay," she muttered, "Time to... Get to work."
A while passed, and Alva had managed to survive okay. She'd constructed a fishing rod out of some nearby branches and the tall blades of grass, which worked... Okay-ish. It tended to snap in half a lot, but she did catch enough fish to keep the meat on her bones. She'd made a fire to boil the salt water of the ocean and cleanse it of its salt and grime (though it was still kind of salty sometimes), and when it rained, she'd just tip her wheelchair over and take shelter underneath. She wasn't sure how long she'd be able to keep it up, though. It was exhausting, and fish catching was too inconsistent. Exploring around the island for other survivors wasn't much of an option for her, though. The stupid wheelchair barely moved in the sand, especially when it got wet. Alva was beginning to think she was just the only survivor, and she was gonna be stuck here alone, forever.
That was, until, a search party came across her. She was halfway through eating a not very well cooked fish when the group of people appeared in the corner of her field of view. "Holy shit," she muttered, dropping the half eaten sea creature and frantically attempting to roll the chair across the sand, the chair flipping itself over once she was just a few meters away from them. Her face now embedded in the sand, Alva slowly picked it up, and spat out a mouthful of the grainy rocks. "...Hey, guys," she said. "Little help?"

| THREAD TITLE |CHARACTER'S PL: 10 MINION’S' PL: 7,500 {awaiting conversion) |
This city isn't safe for anyone... not even me.
The ominous line was spoken from the front of the ship, the stark winds whipping the purple hair astray. The only thing to keep it down was the black fedora, joined by a long back trench coat. The figure's back was turned, looking out over the seas with an intense, attentive gaze.
Especially for me.
A lollipop stick stuck out of the corner of the woman's mouth.
"Hey, uh... boss, can you remind me why we're doing this on a boat?"
"Oh. My. God!" The figure turned on her heel, staring daggers at the gothic spiked man standing adjacent to her. He was holding a camera that pointed directly at her, capturing every detail. The fedora on her head was thrown at the male. It landed on one of his spikes and it spun there for a second before coming to a halt. "You don't know anything at all about showbuisness, do you? Do you? This is best done on a boat! Movie producers don't shoot everything in the same place, trust me. I'm a professional." "But Bos-""I made you. Do you know how to make us rich and famous? No? You gotta leave it to me! People love me! Look! The world has their eyes on me, I tell you."
Cali whipped out her cell phone from her bust. She unlocked it and quickly opened up an app. Her fingers flew across the keyboard. Ankou, not one for technology, looked on in awe. Boy was his boss cool. Soon the typing was complete, and she turned the screen towards him.

"Just watch. You give these people attention, they'll love you! I'm popular!" She waited a moment for her phone to eventually blow up with likes and comments. She waited. Then waited some more. Eventually she just growled to herself and put her phone back where it belongs.
"A-Anyways, showbuisness. A pop idol needs to broaden her horizons. Do you know of any pop idol who isn't an actor?" The demonic fighter shook his head, only half-listening to the woman. He was busy looking around at the other passengers. He was horribly out of place here, after all, and he was receiving dirty looks. He hoped that he didn't get them kicked off. He shot an apologetic smile to the onlookers who were witnessing the scene.
That is, until the ship started to descend, and the pair were plunged into the water.
Fast forward a few days, and the duo washed up on an island. Ankou had picked up Cali, who had fainted from shock, found a large enough piece of debris, used it as a boat, and used his spear as an oar to row them in a direction at an impressive rate. He hadn't stopped until he hit land, which he happened to do. Behind him was Cali, her hands still on the camera, a smile on her face, recording.
"We've... We've finally hit land, we've done it! We can... we can be together here, Johnny, you and me. Our parents don't need to get in the way of our love here. It's... the best way to go, I think. Farewell... normal life... Hello... adventure." The camera was then shut off, and the demon girl let out an ohoho.
Ankou didn't remember when exactly she had started calling him Johnny or when she asked him to start calling her Maribelle. She kept going on about how she was 'glad she invested in a waterproof camera' and 'how lucky they were' and 'how this would be the best romance of the century' and 'how they were going to be rich.' She went on for a while longer, but the demon warrior had long tuned her out by then. She stepped onto land alongside her bodyguard, looking at it with a critical eye.
"Perfect! I'm seeing the making of a great movie here! Stranded on an island! What a two in one deal! That's real value, I'm telling you, Ankou. Stick with me, and we're gonna be rich!" She slapped him on the back playfully and walked further into the island.
"Ankou. I'm cold."
The duo sat slumped together in front of a ramshackle fire. Both of them were soaked to the bone. They both had a bunch of leaves on their shoulders and heads making a makeshift 'blanket.' The digital camera lay on it's side beside the small fire, it's battery long dead from use. What was an attempt at a lean-to was really just one tree log impaled into another tree, with the branches of said tree serving as protection. It wasn't effective at all. The demon warrior sighed. "I know..."
"Ankou. I'm hungry.
"I know."
The exchange had gone on for hours now. The two hoped that someone found them, and soon.

Carro swiped somem greenery out of his path, parting the foliage to find another living person- a human, it seemed. "Oh hey, how was the water?" The saiyan spoke bluntly with a little smile on his face. "Kidding, kidding. Good to see some others survived the crash." He spoke, waving a hand dismissively in an attempt to lighten the mood. After finding Mal, though, he'd turn around and call out to his party. "HEY TIA, I FOUND ONE!"
On cue, a power surged towards the two. Landing beside Carro was a draconic female with horns and pointed ears, blue scales prodding out of her body. Red hair was messily tied into a bun, and the woman's once neat clothes were now reduced to a somewhat damp Majin Bros tee and a pair of green cargo shorts. Her blue, reptilian tail swayed to the side, the spines on her back and shoulders glistening in the sun. The woman eyed Mal up and down, nodding and turning to Carro, giving her friend a fist-bump. "Niiiice." She cooed, eyeing the saiyan that only stood short of her waist. "You're still behind, though. I just found three more."
"Oh, come ON. You can fly, it's not fair!" Carro retorted. It seemed the two of them made a game out of who could find the most survivors. Shaking his head and rubbing the bridge of his nose, the saiyan turned bacl to Mal. "Anyways. I'm Carro, that's Tianum..." The Doragon lady pointed a pair of finger guns at the human. "'Sup." Carro rolled his eyes. "...And we're just out looking for other survivors. We have a base of operations a ways away from here where us and several others are working to find a way back home." He explained, with the dragon lady behind him nodding in affirmation every now and then.
"Anyways, you said you found others? I don't see them." Carro eyed his colleague suspiciously. Tianum rolled her eyes, a playful smile creeping across her face. "Well, I saw a Majin near the beach, and I passed by some other weird lookin' humans earlier. Figured I'd get you also so we could route our way back." Carro nodded, mumbling something to himself... He was about to go along with her, but then another human flopped into view, right out of a wheelchair.
"Yeowch." Tianum winced. Carro trotted forwards towards Alva, eyeing Alva curiously. He could assume she couldn't walk as evidenced by the wheelchair, and how she survived this long on her own was a mystery to Carro. "Tia, go get the two you saw earlier. I'll wait here and get everyone ready." The Doragon saluted and stood straight, looking down onto the saiyan. "Aye aye, capt'n!" She chimed, earning a roll of the saiyan's eyes. Sure, Carro was in charge of the little fort they made on the island, but did she have to be so weird about it? Regardless, the reptilian lunged into the greenery to find the others she saw.
"So, how's the weather down there?" Carro chimed with a weak laugh, crouching down and offering a hand to the fallen earthling. "I've got a place to the north with some others. How about we group there and have a roof to sleep under?" Carro promptly pulled Alva's wheelchair back up, hopefully managing to help her back into her seat.
"Helloooo down there!" Away from the group, Tianum had worked her way to perch atop a branch above Cali and Ankou. The joyous smile on the Doragon's face faded fast, though. "...Wow. You guys don't look so good." She blinked, hopping down and eyeing the two and their poorly made shelter and blanket. "Ah, whatever. Wanna come to my camp? We got some makeshift fishing poles and some really cool huts-- my bud Carro REALLY knows how to cook fish also. It's the best island food you'll get!" She explained with a smile, hoping to instill at least a little relief or hope in her fellow survivors.
"And we got another friend here also, I see." Her gaze turned to the beach, which was slightly obscured by greenery. "HEEEEEEEEEEY, YOU OVER THERE! WE SURVIVED THE WRECK ALSO, WANNA TEAM!?" Tianum called to the distant blue Majin, hoping to gain her attention. She could see Carro as well through some of the bushes- they weren't too far apart, in hindsight.
OOC: Meet and greet comes first before adventure time. Also introducing Tianum, though she's an NPC and has no set PL.

At first, she didn’t know what to make of the short Saiyan with his cheerful disposition. At least he was making the most of their shituation? About to respond, Mal was rendered mute once more, eyes widening as he turned and yelled and someone came crashing down. Immediately, as he argued with the taller stranger, Mal’s opinion of him softened in solidarity because she completely understood what it felt like to be surrounded by all these people that could fly when she couldn't. “ I’m Mal. And I was looking for food, maybe some fresh water,” she said. “ And if you need help finding a way home, wherever home is, I”ll definitely lend a hand however I can.” She watched as they spoke, the two either knew each other a long time or the crash helped them form close, non binding (or perhaps binding) relationships. As a girl came tumbling in front of them, Mal also bent, happy to let Carro do most of the talking. She did cross over and pick up the fallen wheelchair to right it and bring it closer while the blonde decided to either take Carro’s hand up or not. As Tia left to go find others, Mal added, “ My niece can fly, too. Bugs the hell out of me.” Turning back to the issue at hand, though, she tried to keep the wheelchair steady. On sand, it wasn’t as easy as most other surfaces. Sand was all coarse and deep, it slowed down feet and wheels alike.

Spending her time sulking around, Bobbi continued to wonder how she would be able to get on this island. Waiting seemed futile, as it seemed to take longer to recover than the effort to get off of the island. However, a voice had caught her attention, causing her to turn her head towards the direction. Scowling at the doragon woman, Bobbi merely stared at her wordlessly. She still preferred to work solo than to team up with a bunch of people thank you very much. However, she wasn't in a situation where she could be picky as much as she hated to admit it. Joining the other survivors would be her best way of leaving this island. Sighing, she got up from her seat and walked over to the base of the tree that she was perched on. "Sure." She said curtly, crossing her arms over her chest. While she would be making it clear she wasn't eager to be in this situation, she would still continue offering her some help. "Just you or are there other people hiding around here?"
Regardless of how she would answer her question, Bobbi would realize they were not alone. Two other people, one male, and another female were with them. Had they all been this close to each other this entire time and she never realized it? "Hi." She said wearily to the two of them. So there was a total of three people from what she had counted, not including herself. This left the majin to wonder how many other survivors that were in their party. The vague indication the woman gave them had suggested there to be a few others, although it gave no exact amount, leaving her to guess.
