GO MITO GOOOO!
"Look at it, such a work of art." "You are right, this really is our best work yet." The two doctors, Jerold and Lee both stared up at their creation with eyes of admiration, they were truly proud of their work that came from pure blood, sweat, tears, and even more sweat.
"This really is remarkable, we actually created a living T-t-thing!" Lee exclaimed to Jerold, while lightly tapping on the keyboard. The large screen displaying Mito's vitality and heart rate, it was docile, scanners showing that it was sleeping or in other terms in a state of hibernation. "What should we call it?" "How about the Major Interspecies Technological Organism ." Jerold held his right index finger up as if he came up with an amazing discovery. "How about something a bit shorter?" They both placed their fingers on their chin, the answer for a name was right in front of them. "How about M-I-T-O." The two said in unison, smiling a bit at the common thought and proceeded to type the name in for Mito's programming.
"This will be our humanities last sign of defense." Long long ago, back when humans were the primary species on planet earth, the government began to notice certain appearances of aliens building up almost out of nowhere. Centuries upon centuries more and more aliens began to inhabit the planet in which they now called their home. However, with aliens coming to earth they ended up bringing all of their problems with them. Turning earth from a peaceful planet, to a war zone. Humans have always been fleeing the scenes, dying, and being victims. Some tried to fight back, but only a few succeeded. However, that was one in a million. These were statistics that the earthling's government were not willing to play by, it was too dangerous. For the fate of their planet, and their way of life. They created Mito. Using modified DNA and genetics, he was engineered to possess the abilities of the greatest fighters and species to begin inhabiting the earth. This goes for but not limited to Saiyans, namekians, and the Arcosians.
"All I gotta do is add one more thing." The scientist tapped lightly on the touch screen computer, pulling up a dark box that was labeled terminal. He then began to type in some simple code.
C -> "Achieve Perfection and Protect Humanity." ;
"Simple yet effective." "Huh? What's that all about?" "Oh, you mean this? Well, it's like this. Over time we generally grow up with a goal or mindset even when we are first born. Usually obtained through our environment, a "drive" as one would say. What I am doing here is simply having an inner goal for Mito here, making him achieve perfection." The main scientist crossed his arms, then both of them proceeded into looking at the creature in the giant tube.
"What do you mean by achieve perfection?" Jerold motioned over towards the screen. "Take a look at this." Placing his right hand on it, he lightly dragged across the surface shifting the screens. It showed Mito in his littler formed, followed by three darker silhouettes.
"I would like to ask. What do you know about the term evolution?" "Hmm? That's an easy question but I guess I'll play along. Evolution is the process by which different kinds of living organisms develop or diversify from earlier forms in order to sustain or evolve to fit their environment. Mostly involving that species to change its current form. Like the story of how a giraffe got its long neck. "
"What would you say if I told you that Mito here can also perform those feats but at a faster rate." "Are you telling me that this..thing..is able to achieve evolution at free will?" "Let's call it a transformation, and in some ways yes and no. He cannot transform at will. Heh, what are we? Wizards? I don't think technology will allow such a thing to our understanding. However, it can speed up the process. Think of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, it has to store energy over time for it to achieve the transformation. Now imagine what could happen if it could speed the process up, reducing the time by half, maybe even three fourths." "That's remarkable, so how does he reduce the time it takes to reach these transformations?"
"Like most, obtain it through time or.." A dark silhouette appearing over the scientist's eyes. "Huh? or what?" "It can uh, take it from another source." "That really is amazing, but wait if you drain the energy from another source. Then what happens to the source?" "Like most, it will..vanish from this world?" "Huh you mean death? Isn't that a bit drastic." "Nothing is too drastic for the faith of humanity, remember why we have this job in the first place." Jerold locks eyes towards Lee. "Remember." Having harsh eyes, Lee gulped a bit before nodding. "Y-yeah right."
"Don't let your own emotions get in way of the task at hand." He walked over towards the exit, flickering off the lights, and placing his hand on a keypad that scanned the palm of his hand. "Let's get going, we will return to the subject first thing in the morning." Lee nodded and followed behind him, the two of them heading up the stairs as they were met with by a security guard.
He had only peach fuzz on his chin, and his name tag read Jake. The two shook hands. "Hey make sure nothing happens down here, or we will have your head." Jake's nodded and proceeded down the stairs, a small smirk appearing on his face as he did so. "Heh, yeah yeah yeah." Now by himself, Jake cast a sideways glance to the security camera's placed around the vicinity. Glancing down at his watch as if he was expecting something to happen, or at least that what it appeared to the camera. What was actually being done is that he was adjusting his watch to short-circuit this nearby. However, it only short-circuited it for a second and replaced it with a still image of Jake standing guard. It was the perfect rouse.
"Time for the next step of the plan." Jake rose his sleeve up revealing that there was a slight color alteration to his hand, but that was just this glove he had placed. He placed his hand on the scanner, lighting over his hand a bit before unlocking the door. "Recognized, Mr. Lee." Jake smirked, he was able to obtain a whole handprint from the handshake he had with Lee. The naive scientist didn't know a thing.
He turned the knob and went inside, looking around the room but stopping at the site of Mito. "Exactly what I'm looking for." He walked over to the computer next to Mito's giant pod, inserting a flash drive into the desktop's USB port. It was now just the waiting game, the flash drive had a virus on it that would allow him free entry through the security locks.
Taking a glance up at Mito who was just floating in all the green liquid. "Let see what all the fuss is about." Jake's story was that he was a crime god for hire, there was no job to small or too difficult for his set of skills. The computer screen's graphics jolted violently before showing the terminal that Jerold left up, that held the programming behind Mito's drive.
His job was just to invade the facility and redo Mito's programming to destroying the worlds current government.
C -> "Achieve Perfection and _|" ;
C -> "Achieve Perfection and _|" ;
He only had time to backspace over the last part and replace it with "and eliminate the current government", until the door behind him was kicked open. "Ah hah I knew it!" It was Jerold, standing with another security guard who already had his gun up and pointed towards Jake. "I know every single member of staff, and if there was a new one I would definitely know about it. I wasn't born yesterday boy, I definitely know when something's up. So the only question is who are you, and why are you here?" Jake took a tiny step back his right hand looking for something to help him out with the situation. "Wouldn't you like to know." Grabbing for a metal rod and the security guard prepared to fire. But as soon as his index finger was squeezing the trigger, Jerold strongly pushed on his arms. "Don't fire you, idiot! There's a lot of flammable stuff in here!" But it was too late, the bullet already went off, firing past jake and striking the glass of Gito's tube.
Only leaving a light crack, everyone in the room stood still. The tiny crack on the glass began to increase in size every passing second. There was a large beeping and blaring of alarms, Gito's heart rate was rising rapidly on the monitor next to him. The green goo beginning to radiant a flash of green over and over and over again. "Oh-oh no! The shot disturbed his rest! He's awakening!" Jerold rose his right arm over his face to shield his eyes from the light. As Mito's eyes abruptly opened, glowing a bright whitish green. Immediately cracks began to sprout all over before breaking completely, sending shards of glass and goo erupting in all directions in a bright flash of light.
It was like a war zone, the room was covered in glass, good, and broken furniture and scattered papers. But there was Mito, floating in the air with his eyes still having that harsh whitish glow, his body was also covered in this green aura.
Jake and Jerold were able to pull themselves up from the rubble, but the other security guard, however, didn't make it. "M-mito." The scientist reached up with his right hand. "M-mito, don't overreact, calm down.." Mito's gaze slowly turned towards the doctor, who froze mid-sentence.
"I AM FREEEEEEE. " Mito screech, his voice echoing a shockwave the shook the room they were in and began cracking the walls. Forcing Jerold to cover his ears. "Please Mito calm down!" Mito did so, but only out of pure amusement of seeing another creature for the first time after his creation. "Hold still, we will put you in another pod you are not yet ready for the real world. " "You wanna lock Mito back up in the pod?" Mito's brows began to furrow. "Mito is never going back!" "You have to!" "No!"
Mito's aura began to radiant harsh rays of light. "No no no no no!" Shooting towards Jerold, Mito ended up using his first every attack ever and rammed straight into Jerold's stomach. Knocking the old man unconscious before continuing. He was now shooting through solid stone and eventually the earth, reaching the sky outside of the base. You could see lights flashing and alarms blaring. The speaking announcing of Mito's escape, guards rushing from every corner and locking site with Mito in the sky. Each of them pointing a gun then firing bullets his way.
Quickly Mito began to sore off into the opposite direction, doing all that he can to escape.
