"Remember what I told you, Ankou. Another lap."
A shiny black limousine cruised the streets of Satan City. It was a sleek black model, and would've looked quite something were it not so... commercialized. Posters and stickers depicting the face of the demon woman were stuck all over the vehicle, announcing of a concert happening that very day. Within the back of the vehicle sat the woman of the hour herself, her hair tied up with a crimson red ribbon. Her outfit was flashy and glamourous, a poufy black dress with elaborate floral patterns emblazoned all over it. A purple undershirt and purple stockings accompanied the dress, with questionable purple high-heels as shoes. She looked out the window, hand supporting her head, trying to keep calm from all the excitement she felt.
Meanwhile, the driver in the front dressed as he always did. It was mostly because his strange spiky figure meant that he'd need to have outfits tailored to himself specifically, and he didn't really need to look fashionable to be a driver. However, he did have black sunglasses on his face, which the woman seated in the back said would make him look 'like a real bodyguard.'
In response to her statement, the man nodded. She wanted him to keep driving around the city, even though their destination was right in front of them.
Said destination was a curious thing that hadn't been there but the night before. Using the power of muscle and magic, the duo had constructed a fully-fledged stage right in the middle of a park right in the middle of town. It stood out like a sore thumb, the pop-star vibes, deep purples and hot pinks contrasting with the greens of the park it surrounded. Lights were setup, and in big, neon sparky letters, it read...
'Strings of Magic - C.A.L.I'S SUPER ★ CUTE ★ DEBUT!'
The same text was plastered all over the sheets of paper that covered the limo, and, on closer inspection, the whole town. The streets were littered with advertisements- they were plastered to walls, poles, street lights, other cars, traffic lights, billboards, everywhere. The woman chuckled to herself at the thought. Boy was it useful having a minion that could fly.
Despite all the advertisement, though, the lot was empty. Granted, she was there an hour early out of excitement, but the only people around were staring at the stage with confusion, wondering how and when it got there, who had the time and resources to build it, and who exactly 'C.A.L.I' was. Keep them thinking. Maybe they'd come around eventually. The woman laid back and the limo drove past the stage once more.
She couldn't step out of the car until there was a crowd to greet her.
