Having met the odd little lizard girl while she was on some camping trip up in the mountains, the Sheriff was around the area enough for the two to at least have seen eachother. If not even get a proper introduction. It wasn't like he was near the campsite all the time either, the law man was a common sight soaring from one city to the other from his township in the northern slopes. Being one of few, if not the only, powerful peace keepers had him worn ragged. If it was just from fighting he'd be fine, but recently the local police had been calling him in for everything from bank robberies to natural disasters. Issues he fixed quickly, and then was left bored and angst filled. He was near twitchy with the inbred Saiyan want to fight, or a need if you knew the race well enough.
"That lizard had a pretty good power level, right Rusk?" He asked his trusty mechanical hound. The robot clicking as she responded with a tiny, feminine voice. "Roughly five thousand below yours. It would be a match in your favor, but not undecided based just on strength alone." Perfect, Kail thought.
He landed at a respectful distance of Kari's campsite, he didn't want to be blowing tents away just from an entrance. Duster swaying behind long legs as the Sheriff glanced around for a moment, making sure he wasn't sneaking up on anyone. The pink being spotted, metal hand lifted up in greeting. "Ey! You busy kid? Might be pretty blunt, but tact ain't never was my strong suit. I'm down for a tussel, and yer the strongest thing on the mountains 'aside myself. You'd be doin' me a right helpin' hand by a quick match!"
It had been a few days since she had met Kail by the stream. For a while, she had thought that it would be the last she'd seen of him for a while. To her surprise, while Kari was trying to read a comic book around the unlit fire pit, a familiar voice had startled her out of her tent. For a moment, she had thought that an intruder had arrived at her family's campsite. Her relatives also seemed to have a similar reaction, her uncle holding a knife that he was using to cut vegetables up threateningly at the sheriff. Her face completely flushed, Kari did her best to defuse the situation. Fortunately, she had managed to calm him down enough before walking to the saiyan. "At least give some warning before you come. I'm not in the woods alone you know. Let's go somewhere else if you want to talk. Hey, let's go!" She said, yelling at the direction of the tent. Moments later, a shadow who reluctantly floated out.
After walking a short distance away from her campsite to a clearing, Kari took the time to settle down. Leaning against a rock, she began to consider his words. "You want to fight?" She had never been a great fighter, and her skill in fighting made it clear. However, she was always willing to train. With a grim smirk on her face, she shook her head, "Don't expect me to be great at anything." Standing up straight and taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, Kari began to tap into the latent demonic powers that she had. The rush of power was exhilarating, causing her grim smile to turn into one that was much more genuine.
"Alright, we're fighting!" Itzal said with a cheer. Of course, he was excited to fight. It was what he was made to do after all. His size suddenly began to increase twice-fold. However, this wasn't for show either. Like Kari, his strength would also increase, causing the two to stare at the sheriff and his dig, one with confidence and trying to intimidate them while the other meekly smiling. Making no indication of her next action, Kari began to scan the energy of the two beings. Rusk was difficult for her to understand as she didn't have any life energy for her to base off of, leaving her to only guess that she was around Itzal's strength. Kail's was slightly more terrifying. If she didn't tap into her hidden power he would be stronger than her.
"I believe it's common courtesy to allow the challenging party the first move," Kari said with a polite smile. This had earned a glare from Itzal who believed she should attack relentlessly. However, the chameleon simply wanted to see what the saiyan had up his sleeve before she made any rash decisions. She might have typically followed his directions if the opponent was weaker than her, however, this time Kail was on a whole other level than the friends she sparred with.
Kari's PL: 15,000 Itzal's PL: 5,000 Demonic Will has been activated for Kari! Her new PL is 30,000! Demonic Will has been activated for Itzal! His new PL is 10,000! Kari's KP: 3/3 Itzal's KP: 3/3 Your move Kail

The Sheriff slid down into his fighting stance, an odd one to be sure. Glinting metal fist held out infront of him in a fist, to be used as sword and shield. It's flesh and bone counterpart held back and open, fingers splayed wide. "Rusk, scout." The canine lowered herself, the range finger above an optic swiveling over both the sparring partners. The range, wind, temperature, and then their power levels registering to the mechanical sidekick. "Both have risen by double previous power level, margin for victory in normal situation minimal." The Sheriff gave a brief grunt, unable to sense Ki as he was, he could still tell the duo had powered up. Some things you just get from experience.
"Training Mode Beta, attack pattern Wolf." The canine barked a grunt, the dagger like teeth in her maw snapping back in a quick retraction. Getting stuck in her jaws would hurt like hell, but wouldn't tear flesh from bone like the attack dog's standard procedure in combat was. Rusk lowered her chassis, servos whirring before sudden silence. Then both of them powered up to their max, no transformation, but the aura of sapphire and pale ki around them respectively showed they weren't no slouches either. "Alright, let's rumble!" The Sheriff's grin split dark beard, there was no hesitance in his approach at Kari. The fire of Saiyan combat tempered by experience, metal arm led the way in the charge. Using it's heavy weight and iron defense like a sledgehammer, slow, steady, but always something you had to look out for. Any time there was a moment spent too long on blocking or avoiding it, free hand came forward to make a rapid jab at the lizard girl. Course, he wasn't going /as/ hard as he could. She might be stronger then him, but this wasn't exactly a fight to the death either.
For her own sake, Rusk pounced Itzal like an excited puppy. Darting around rapidly, able to turn on a dime thanks to the whole 'has four legs' thing. Keeping herself in close, then dashing in and feinting rapidly then falling back. Baiting and playing like any excited dog, up until she was able to slam herself right into her sparring partner. Heavy iron jaws snapping open latching onto the figure, slamming her heavy weight to the ground and shaking head back and forth as if trying to tear her new play mate in half.

It was clear that despite the disadvantage the sheriff and his metallic dog had, that they still intended to fight with all their effort. However, even with her significant power boost, she was hesitant about her ability. A brief glance of uncertainty glossed over her eyes, causing the fear and anxiety that she had been holding back about this fight to come into view. However, almost as quickly Kari did her best to hide the look. She shouldn't be showing any fear, that's not what heroes do. Even in a training, they should hold themselves with pride and dignity. She held none of that now. Shaking the thoughts from her head, she began to focus on the fight that was currently happening. Getting into her own fighting position, she held her fists close together and legs apart, having a small hop in each step. Silently, Kari had noted that Kali was also in a similar position, with his metallic arm in front of the other. That arm, would be punching a lot? If so, she needed to be careful.
Suddenly, Kail began to rush towards her with a punch. She was prepared for the attack, knowing that by allowing him to attack first there would be no element of unpredictability in his first move... or at least that's what she thought. While she did manage to dodge the first punch, done by his metal arm, she had not anticipated the blow of the second which quickly followed. The blow had hit her chest, knocking the wind out of her and down for a brief moment. "Not bad." She commented with a smile, taking the brief moment of speaking to recover from the blow. However, she would begin to attack as well, running up to him and making a punching movement. However, those who knew Kari's fighting style knew that she never threw punches. Before her fist would even connect, Kari brought herself down and attempted to sweep at his legs with her own in order to knock him done. She would then quickly place a hand in front of her, releasing two ki blasts at his direction.
Itzal, on the other hand, was brasher with his fighting. He wasn't stupid enough not to know that a dog running towards him was not a good sign. A such he would do his best to dodge her lunge and was able to mostly avoid things. However, Rusk rather than latching onto his body instead would grab onto the tendril that acted as his right arm. He immediately cried out in pain as he did his best to free his "arm" from the jaws. "Let go of me you filthy mutt." He yelled. However, he wasted no time in reaction. Quickly raising his free hand, he would enlarge the claw before bringing it crashing down at her body, in an attempt to slash her.

The grizzled Saiyan landed on the ground, but was swift to flip himself back up by sheer muscles in arm and shoulder blades. Now that was a surprise, but far be it from him to be upset from a switch up move. This /was/ training after all! A rapid twist of the lower body sent sweeping legs out to clear her from his closer space before hopping up. A brief burst of power enough to make her ki blasts just singe clothing. "Not bad kid, you got some real potential. Just need to work on that confidence!" The lawman said with a grin, closing distance and re-engaging the little lizard lass in a rapid flurry of back and forth blows.
Ruskova, for her sake, was not happy being slammed into the ground. The impact leaving a crater in the ground, but she stayed latched on with dedication. A low snarl coming from her throat before the mechanical animal's back plates slid apart, two heavy machine guns slamming out and leveling at Itzal's face. The rangefinder above her eye locking on, a red dot zooming around the shadowey being's chest before both guns unloaded chalk rounds. Made for training, they lacked the bite of real gunshots, but that didn't mean it was painless. It stung like a bitch, so to say. The assault went on until both guns clicked dry, before they slammed back into her chassis. The odd sounds inside indicating that internal mechanisms were reloading her as she let go the man and hopped back, barking loudly before resuming her rapid darting. Not going for attacks now, but getting into Itzal's comfort zone, then turning on a paw and darting out of fist range.
Her attack from earlier was cheap, yes. However, it was effective as shown in this fight. It had appeared she had caught him off guard, to her surprise. "My confidence has nothing to do with how I fight. It's simply how I think. If it hits, great for me. If not, it's fine." She replied to Kail's comment. However, she didn't have time to celebrate. Kari was still in a combat situation after all. It wasn't long before Kail made his move once again, as he closed the distance she had created between the two. There was hardly even enough time for her to breath before he sent multiple blows her direction. Doing her best, she tried to block the attacks by parrying them with her hands. However, her attempt was only half as successful as she had managed to redirect most but not all of the blows. However, she wasn't going to give up just yet. At the end of his barrage of strikes, she would attempt to quickly follow up with a kick to his stomach. Regardless of whether it would hit or not, she would hop backward before getting in position. This would be the first time she had used this technique. Bringing in her hands back, she immediately summoned a sphere between them. However, she had to be quick or else she would be attacked. "Kamehame." She began. She began to lose control of the sphere, quickly Kari corrupted it with her magic to keep it stable. Bringing her blast forward, she sent the ki beam at the sheriff's direction. "HA!" The blast had taken much energy out of her, however, she had to stay vigilant. She would ascend to the air, partly to create further distance.
Meanwhile, Itzal was now left facing the consequences of smashing a robotic dog to the ground. Rusk did not seem happy about his attack and had summoned several weapons upon her back. The moment he saw the red dot on his chest, he immediately took action. Before the artillery would be emptied out on his body, he turned intangible. Harmlessly, it all passed through his body. Inflating his chest to make it seem larger, the shadow threw his nose in the air before speaking. "This is why you don't mess with the great god of Shadows! You'll never win." However, after his small bragging session, he would get back to work. Zooming towards Rusk again, he would attempt to send an uppercut under her muzzle.
OOC Note: Had to do some thinking for this fight. Sorry about the wait. I forgot to mention what I'm doing the last post along with KP so here it is for this one. Kari used [N1]Kamehameha at 9900 PL aiming at Kail Itzal dodged Rusk's attack using [SU1] Shadow Meld before following up with an uppercut Kari's KP: 2/3 Itzal's KP: 1/3 (he used [N1] Shadow Claw last round my bad)

"Rusk, double down!" Kail didn't block himself off the attack, instead the canine's body shaking as a generator sprung from her chassis. A beam of bright azure light shooting out like a laser before hardening between The Sheriff and the attack. Burning bright, Kari's attack shattered it, but not before sacrificing a fourth of it's power to do so. The Lawman didn't so much as flinch as he turned, letting it sear across his back. Growling through the impact, the Saiyan's hands parted. Spools of power rushing down both limbs of flesh and iron. "Got you now!" The Sheriff had assumed either one of them had a technique to vanish like that, most everyone he'd faught did, and he knew just how to beat it. Make them waste their power, then go for the throat.
The earth seemed to rattle under them all, trees swaying and rocks floating for a mere moment around the man's body. Azure and white lightning crackled down the mechanical limb, before it was thrust forward. Palm slot opening to show the rapidly moving mechanisms inside. Generating power rapidly until it was flaring around the man with enough force to blow his duster back. Free palm slammed down into the forearm of the cybernetic, the ball of power loaded like a bullet. When it merged into the generator the fire of ki around the Saiyan burst to double it's size.
"Shoudl've stayed intangible. Grim Howitzer!"
The power that unloaded was a vicious spiral of sapphire, a corkscrew of violet making it look more like a drill shaped bullet then any standard attack. Rocketing right for the spirit as Luna accepted the shot to her jaw, and used the momentum to fall out of the way of her master's attack.
//Luna KP 2/3, she used a Barrier for Kail! Kail took about 2,500 damage.
Kail KP 0/3, he used Grim Howitzer MP3 for 20,000 damage at Itzal!

The first time Kari had ever used the Kamehameha in battle ended with it being interfered by a barrier. While the attack still managed to hit her target as the barrier itself wasn't strong enough, it still didn't make the entire event any less disappointing. Feeling a hit to her confidence, Kari began to slouch a little. How would she become better in combat if she wasn't able to hit him with her full power? However, Kail's yell jerked her out of her negative thoughts and showed her the reality. He would begin to charge an attack, one that Kari was sure did not mean anything good. Thinking that Kail was about to shoot a technique in her direction, Kari braced herself to react, ready to protect herself. It took her by surprise as she witnessed the beam of energy firing towards Itzal's direction instead of hers. "Itzal!" She yelled. Immediately she descended from the sky. It would definitely be risky for her to do such a move, however, Kari was willing to take the risk. Aiming to send her foot crashing into his head, it was clear that wasn't fast enough to stop the attack. She would still continue with her assault on Kail, but react while she was still descending from the sky.
With a simple snap of her fingers, a dark pink barrier appeared before Itzal moments before the attack broke through and he was hit with the powerful energy. His scream was heard beneath the roar of the attack. By the time it had faded, Itzal was still conscious, however, his body was badly damaged. It was clear that if he continued to be hit with these attacks he would not be able to continue. "Heh, not bad. I'm going to keep going until I pass it though." He said, breathing deep and pained breaths. Floating near Kari, albiet with difficult, he looked at her with a serious look. "If they're going to double team we should as well." Numbly, she nodded at her partner staring at the dog and the sheriff. "Look, remember what we've talked about." Kari nodded in response. "We can't risk anymore follow the plan."
"Right." Kari agreed. It would be difficult to do this move, especially considering her attacks were weak and Itzal himself was badly hurt. However, if there was even a small bit of hope that this would work, she was willing to take the chance. Even if this was just a spar, it was all real in her eyes.
Kari used [N1] Life Shield to protect Itzal, reducing the attack to 10100, leaving Itzal badly hurt although still conscious. She would then use a non-technique stomp aimed at Kail's head. Kari's KP: 1/3 Itzal's KP: 2/3

The Sheriff took the shot to the dome, and besides a grunt he was otherwise just fine. Spitting a clot of blood into the dirt as he turned and slammed his iron fist for the girl's midrift. Hit or not, the impact of the punch send a blast of wind enough to shake the trees. Teeth gritted as his Saiyan blood was charged with the energy of a good fight. "There we go! Are you in it yet kid?" The four fighters disengaged for a moment, Kail and Ruskova standing beside eachother, power soaring around both of them as the law man let a feral grin split his black forest of a beard. "You can feel it, can't you!? This might just be a spar, but we're warriors! Realize there is no limit to your power, and show me what you got, girl!"
The grizzled warrior slammed his battle stance back in with the efficiency of a motion done countless times, his companion lowering herself, jaws snapping a few testing times to check her mechanical parts worked just fine. "Enemy analyzed, offense ability is less then defense. Recommend refit then engage." Smooth, feminine, and robotic tone clicked out.
"Ah Rusk, where's the fun in that? You gotta learn a fight ain't just about power levels and charging."
The Sheriff clicked his tongue against his teeth, and the robotic dog's heavy cannons slammed up and aimed right for the duo, specifically the already wounded Itzal. "Gunset Overdrive.exe activated." Was heard, followed by a rapid fire of ballistic training shells that tore through the air with growing power, until the four cannons on the mechanical dogs guns clicked dry. Immediately following her salvo, the Saiyan was up right in between the two of the younger fighters, if he was uncomfortable taking on two at a time, it didn't show. Even his tail was used as a weapon, wagging right in-front of Kari's face before delivering, or at least trying to, a slap that would be the equivalent of a punch for weaker fighters.
//Luna used Gunset Overdrive 2/3 KP for like, I dunno man about 1,200.
Kail would follow up Kari's attack with a punch to her stomach. She didn't have any time to the dodge the attack and received it straight on. The impact of the blow had appeared to knock stars in her vision as they danced around the corners of her eyes. Taking a quick break from the fight, the sheriff would ask the two a question regarding the true nature of the spar. He was right after all. Despite all of this being just a training, it was still a serious fight. The two of them were doing their best to defeat each other. Even if the stakes were low, their motivation and desire to win was high. "Right." She replied, a smirk growing on her face. "I won't hold back anymore. I am a fighter. Even if I don't have confidence, it doesn't discount the fact that I know how to fight and I want to win. I'm sure Rusk and you feel the same way." With these words exchanged, the four would then go back to their fight. Now, Kari was more determined than ever to win. Sure the odds were low, however, she would fight till the very end.
At the command of Kail, guns would once again appear on Rusk's back. The two would nod at each other before they engaged in combat. Itzal was done playing nice and had crossed both arms in front of him in an X shape before enlarging them and lunging straight at the attack. While his attack was slightly weaker due to Rusk's gunfire, he still persisted and would aim to crash into Rusk, causing her heavy damage if it were to land. However, that wasn't just the end of it. Hoping that the mechanical hound would be distracted by Itzal's attack, Kari quickly followed it up with one of her own. "Kamehameha!" She shouted, sending the dark pink energy at Rusk. Combined with her companion's attack, she had hoped their efforts would be able to knock her out of combat, leaving only Kail to fight.
However, while they were distracted by their dual assault on Rusk, Kail had managed to get a few hits in on them. At first, the two would stumble, dazed by his efforts. Both of them were getting exhausted, although they made sure not to show it. "Not bad at all Kail. Although, I am getting a bit tired. I might call it a day for now." She huffed, raising an eyebrow. "Unless you want to make things official by actually knocking the both of us out, although I'd rather just end our match like this. What do you say?"
Itzal used [UP2] Shadow Claw against Rusk's Gunset Overdrive, overpowering her at 5400PL heading her way. Kari would then quickly follow up Itzal's attack with [N1] Kamehameha 9900PL with the intent to KO. But regardless, she's throwing in the towel for this match. Kari's KP: 0/3 Itzal's KP 0/3
