We've been circling the drain on replacing cbox and shoutbox with an embed for an official discord, but I want to gauge the player's temperature first.

The cbox is appreciated, but as it costs money to be maintained, I feel we ought to go with discord. However the Shoutbox should remain, so announcements, whether regards to threads or to staff announcements. The shoutbox should also be kept for those who cannot access the discord for any given reason as a means of higher speed communication while on site!
Also, this would save Legendary some cash.

i'd argue for all 3 tbh. I personally feel as if the shoutbox is just meant for announcements and the like, so I would rather not have player conversations from people who don't have discord flooding it instead of de creations and the like. Though I do see the redundancy of having two chats on site, plus the formatting issues it could cause, on top of Legendary's poor wallet, but I just think having all 3 would be better for the peeps, more choices and all that. |

Due to formatting and speed issues, it's going to be one or the other re: shoutbox/cbox or discord.

Can we get a link posted to actually join the new Discord somewhere? Titan Embed is buggy on my end and won't allow me to open it through the app, much less update/sign-in.

I don't know what an embedded Discord chat would look like, but it would be difficult for new members like myself to immediately interact with older members. You'd have to register twice in order to be part of the community, in addition to explaining Discord to anyone who doesn't know what it is. Luckily, I have Discord, so it's not an issue for me.
