Kagaku wandered around the streets of the city, wondering where the hell Shiroi was. He was weak without her and he needed more specimens. Sure, he could grab up the ‘humans’ as they were called, but then the heroic assholes would come and bore him with speeches while he had to wait to take back his specimen for study.
Shiroi still hadn’t gone to full power yet and was healing so he headed off to find her after she ran off. “Jeez, she’s like a child! I wish she could always stay in her adult form… Then her seductive nature is really annoying. Gah. I need a truly obedient form for her… Hm…” Kagaku muttered looking around.
He looked in dark alleys, looked in the sewers, in buildings, everywhere. He had no idea where the hell she was as he looked, hell, he couldn’t even SENSE her, which was odd. “Tch… SHIROI! WHERE ARE YOU!?”Kagaku yelled telepathically to everyone in the city, making the people look and some held there head in annoyance.
He felt her ki spike, and he stared at a house, one dark red house with a black door with completely shut off windows. “Give. me. back. my. minion!” he said, gritting his teeth and looked pissed, fuming with anger, his hand shaking in anger. He marched to the door, his eyes filled with a murderous rage as he slowly made his way to the house.
“Looks like I get new test subjects and Shiroi will have a good tasty meal.” Kagaku: 100 PL And I want to stick to the 42 hour thing of DE's, where if it's 42 hours w/out a post, then ya can be skipped. Apologies, just don't want a dead thread. -----------------------------

THE HOUSE CARRO'S PL: 10
Carro took a sip of his Valley Dew soda while listening into his ZPhone. His mother was always concerned over her much weaker son, and for good reason. Carro had finally decided to take today as an off day and let his new employees run most of Crop Co, sort of to test their skills. He had his doubts and concerns, but his mother had convinced him it was for the best. "...But yeah, things are pretty peaceful here in the South, aside from some weird telepathic message I got earlier. It's a lot warmer than the Central Capitol, that's for sure." Carro explained over the line, looking down and pulling on the collar of his New Yolk City tee. "But I should get going now I'll..."
Carro paused, eyeing a rather peeved-looking scientist that trudged past him. Something about a minion, new test subjects, and a meal? "...Yeah, I'll call you back later. Talk to you later, ma." Carro finished, ending his call and swiping the screen to the emergency call menu. He REALLY did not like the vibe he got from this man, but... He hadn't really done much yet aside from be cranky. Carro sighed, tapping in a few of the first emergency numbers just in case before hopping off the park bench he was lying down on. If he didn't come back, at least Garon and Penne would keep his company in good hands.
Despite his better judgement, the saiyan approached the fellow weakling, his tail raised high in caution and occasionally swaying behind him. "Uh... Excuse me, sir?" Carro spoke, trotting to Kagaku's side with a curiously cautious glance. "...Uh, so... What are you doing this fine morning? You seem kinda tense." Carro spoke with an uncomfortable forced smile, and a feat beads of sweat beginning to form on his forehead. "Wellllll, erm... anyways, if you could not break into some other civilian's home, that'd be just perfect." He turned to eye the odd building in front of them, the consequences of his mistake of initiating conversation beginning to sink in now.
Wind was blowing through Enzo's hair as he was flying through the sky. He was looking down while speeding through the air in search of a new place to eat. He had pretty much tried everywhere so he didn't have high hopes of finding a restaurant that would satisfy him. He had already been flying for about an hour. As he was about to turn around and go home he heard a very frustrated voice inside of his head. “Tch… SHIROI! WHERE ARE YOU!?”
The voice had made Enzo come to a complete stop he looked around for the source of the message and flew towards it. He landed in the presence of two people. One happened to be a Saiyan. He hadn't seen another Saiyan in a while since he had escaped from planet Vegeta. The short Saiyan had asked the man to not break into other peoples house. Enzo stood about 5 feet to the right of the one Saiyan while facing the man. "I can help you find what you're looking for but breaking into peoples houses is not the way to go about this."
Enzo had waited for a response from the man. He kept his eye on him but did not get into a fighting stance as not to seem threatening.
<SHIROI! WHERE ARE YOU!?> Dreizehn held his head as the telepathic roar burst into his skull, shortly before he felt a flaring of energy in the city. He'd only just arrived in South City after deciding to stock up on some supplies for a trip to visit Mt Paozu or the Tenka'ichi Budokai Grounds in order to get some more environmental based training in when he'd received the mental intrusion. Whatever this was however bore investigating. The last time he'd encountered telepathy had been with a ghost, and given his last two experiences with ghosts with one of those being in a populated area... Definitely had to check it out.
The silver-haired humanoid surged through the air towards the source of the energy flare he'd sensed earlier, his eyes scanning the ground before spotting a trio of people standing next to a blackened house. Two of them looked to be confronting the third, possibly the source of the telepathic yelling earlier. He glanced over towards the house, narrowing his eyes. The source he'd felt earlier wasn't any of the three below on the street, which left only the occupants of the building itself. He could feel something inside, but there was something strange...
He descended down to the ground, next to the white haired man... with fins on his arms and a tail. Definitely not human that much was certain. Demon perhaps or a species of alien? He looked over to the two Saiyans before looking over at the building. "Either of you able to detect energy levels?" he inquired of them, his eyes still fixed on the building. "I'm guessing this Shiroi that this man is looking for is inside, based on the energy surge following that little mental intrusion I'm presuming you each received as well. But something feels... off." said Dreizehn, glancing back to the two Saiyans.
The silver-haired humanoid turned his attention to the fin-armed man for a moment. "Who or what is this Shiroi, and should we be concerned about collateral damage?" he asked the man, assuming that they were the one who had sent the telepathic message earlier.

Kari's PL: 16,000 Itzal's PL: 5,000
South City was a place of bad memories. Ranging from the event where she had embarrassed herself in front of a crowd to the time where she was outed by that politician for stating her personal views, Kari hadn't expected to come back here so soon... at least until her guardian brought her here. Itzal had always seemed to find new ways to torture her, disguising it as "helping her get over her cowardice and own weakness". After he had overheard her talking about the city with a friend and expressing her emotions about it, the demon insisted and forced her to come here on one of the few days where she was free. "Do we really have to do this. I don't have any terrible side effects about being here, I just don't have anything to do with this city today."
"Yeah, let's get going. Come on we're going to revisit all the spots where you made these bad memories and confront them!" The shadow grinned at her, causing her to roll her eyes. Great, there was no way she was going to get out of this. Or at least she thought at the time as almost as quickly as the thought formed in her head, it was chased quickly by another unfamiliar voice. Clenching her head as if it was going to explode, she briefly glanced at Itzal's direction to find him doing the same thing. "Who the hell is Shiroi? At least be specific before you scream in my head." He groaned. Noticing Kari's confused expression, he quickly followed it up with another statement. "What you think that you screamed in your own mind about a person you never heard of? was your imagination? Just ignore it, we don't know who Shiroi is anyways. Let's get going." Slowly, she nodded, however, she would begin sensing everyone's energy to gauge any nearby danger.
Immediately she felt the energy spike up around her. While most were small, there was a bunch of unusually high energies gathered in a single location. "Hey let's make a detour I want to check this out." Before Itzal was able to react, she had already launched herself into the air and was currently flying towards the location where she felt all the high signatures, forcing him to reluctantly follow her. Upon arrival, she had spotted two saiyans and a familiar bio-android. As she landed, she had overheard Dreizehn had seemed to be asking if any of them were able to sense energy. "I can. Didn't expect to see you here though Dreizehn." Taking a moment to briefly concentrate sensing her surroundings again, Kari quickly felt a large energy radiating from the house followed by a minuscule signature. "There are two people in there. One's pretty large." However, she was hesitant to enter the house. Everything about the building seemed to scream "horror movie house" to her. However, perhaps this person truly needed help finding his friend. "Should we enter?" She asked, nervously looking at the people around her.
Post by Ronin Sashouka on Mar 27, 2018 19:33:50 GMT -6
Flying through the air, Sashouka was already different than the many others flying the skies of South City. In particular, it was because the purple-haired nomad was sitting with both legs crossed atop the sputtering yellow blow known as the legendary Flying Nimbus. Of course, it wasn't some legendary one, but one of the many Nimbus that existed through the massive Enormous Nimbus. But that was a tale unknown and irrelevant to Sashouka, particularly as his gaze turned downward and spotted two familiar figures among a growing group. The cloud slowed its forward flight without even a word, instead changing into a deep, dipping dive that took Sashouka toward the oddly unique building and the crowd around its front. But unlike many others, the man's calm demeanor didn't waver the slightest moment. Rather, it allowed the sputtering blob of vapor to carry him almost directly up toward Kari and her odd companion's rear-right. His sash shook gently as he reached back and pulled free a bottle of water, both of those closed-eyes staying fairly closed. The warrior part of him likely would have been interested if the martial artist could sense any ki... but without that talent, it was more the fact that so many odd faces had gathered and begun getting rather serious or focusing on the strange house.
"Personally, I'd recommend just walking in if you think they're awake. People living in a village together should trust one another to allow them inside, correct?"
The bottle rose to Sashouka's lips, taking a small swig without allowing his closed-looking gaze to drop from everyone. The advice was born from the simple reality that back at his tribe's village, locked doors weren't needed beyond to secure a home when one goes to sleep. The notion that people were incapable of trusting their neighbors was a foreign one, particularly since they could always choose to not live there. Overall, whilst the bottle lowered and the small cloud remained level enough for him to be at eye-level for most of those here, the purple-haired dojo leader was uncertain so far what required the odd composition of a group. Kari was one he truly recognized, but the short one looked familiar. Almost like some posters he had seen hung up elsewhere. But modern world figures were little more than just fellow Earthlings to him... especially considering how many odd ones seemed to leap out of the woodwork.
The Shotie had an exasperated look as people came to him, as if he wanted to actually wanted them to bother him in a time like this. However, the thing that interested him the most was Kari. He’s seen lizards on this planet and he’s studied them to see their properties but he’s never seen something like Kari. He was curious what made her body up, how it ticked, and what she even was.
“Hm. Since it seems like you people have nothing better than to bother me, I’ll just say this. Shiroi is my experiment, my test subject. She is my creation.” Kagaku said, rolling his sleeves up to reveal his fins. Even though he had a small power, the people here didn’t seem to have any form of method to detect his power. It seemed like his ki was similar to these things called ‘androids’ where they needed a ‘scouter’ to sense them.
Such things were alien to him. “Hm. Such a weak structure. Why the support beams look as if they’d collapse.” Kagaku muttered, moving closer to the house and begin to inspect it. A power shot up from below the house, pretty deep under and Kagaku immediately recognized it as Shiroi. She seemed back to full power as her ki was at 5,000. “Heh, here she comes.” the alien muttered, smirking but he had to be proven wrong as her power immediately dropped astronomically. It seemed to nearly vanish, her power seeming to drop to Carro’s PL range of 20.
“What the hell is going on!?”
After yelling this, the Kagaku angrily charged his ki, his body pulsing. He has designed a special technique for himself so that he could double his power and the liquid he fell in did not stop it. However, it does strain him to do so. His body twitched as he grew to 11’8” and muscles bulging as he walked over to the door, his power now at 200 PL as he just marched over to the door and quite literally ripped off the door, throwing it aside so it landed on the pavement outside, startling the people around them as he went back down to 5’8”.
He went inside and see’s a normal, everyday home. Pictures of a loving family and looked as if people have been living here recently. “Where the hell is she?!” Carro Hofferson Shiroi, the Minion is here! Shiroi 3/3 KP! Shiroi is at 5,000 PL! --------------------------------------------------------- Shiroi's Power went back up to her normal PL, then suddenly went to 10 PL, so Kagaku went into his terrifyingly tall form, ripping the door off the hinges and tossing it aside and heading into it!

CARRO'S PL: 10 TIANUM'S PL: 5,000
With the approach of several other concerned folk that only caused the smaller saiyan's anxiety to bubble further with dismay. The general consensus was suspicion and concern, save for one outlier. Carro turned to Ronin, eyeing him up and down. "...I don't think that's how it works." He chimed. "Most people seem to be assholes, judging by how I've been mugged twice in the last month. I think keeping doors locked is reasonable." He responded with a roll of his eyes. For now though, the saiyan tentatively put some of his trust with the group that had been rallied up- they couldn't be too bad if they wanted to stop a break-in.
Carro eyed the lizard-lady and her shadowy bird bud, who was familiar with the silver-haired man, Dreizehn. "We'll be murdered Monday the Fourteenth style if we do." Carro remarked, half-joking and half-serious when Kari spoke of entering. Though, as for Dreizehn's earlier concern about damage, Carro was about to second his inquiry and bring up what Kagaku said about new test subjects and experiments and meals for this Shiroi person, but then the ever so suspicious scientist bulked up and ripped off the door to the house! "...Yeah, I think we should be concerned now about damage."
"HEY, TIA, WE GOT A SITUATIO-" Carro turned around and yelled out. On cue, a blue spark of energy darted out of the nearby park, the ki fading to reveal a blue-scaled dragon lady. Tianum's hair was long and untied, not in it's usual ponytail or bun. She dusted off her New Yolk City shirt, turning to Carro. "...Wild guess, but does it have to do with the totally not a mad scientist guy over there?" Her gaze soured at Kagaku for a moment before lightening as she turned to the rest of the group. "Yeah. He mentioned something about new test subjects and a meal for this Shiroi person earlier, which was REALLY creepy." The saiyan explained to his partner and the group, causing the Doragon's expression to sink with concern. "Yyyyup. Mad scientist."
The Doragon leaned back, turning to the group. "Any-whooo, I'm Tianum, that's Carro. I guess we're gonna team and kick some butt?" With a gesture to the smaller saiyan, Carro would just flash a quick thumbs-up to the group. "Also I think we're gonna need someone to like, full nelson that guy before he decks another door down." She clicked her tongue, eyeing the group.
Out of nowhere more people had shown up to see what was going on. The telepathic message had reached farther than Enzo originally thought. He felt the power levels of everyone in the area and compared it to his own. He was the weakest out of the group besides the scientist and the other Saiyan, but even they had someone by their side to help them. He wasn't sure how well he could do in this situation, he even considered leaving, but he decided two things: First to help as much as he can, and second don't cause problems for anyone else.
Suddenly the scientist had doubled in size. He walked to the door and ripped it clean off. Afterwards he shrunk down back to his original size. It definitely was a spectacular sight and Enzo didn't know if he would be able to handle this new threat. H felt safer knowing that there were others right next to him so that he wouldn't have to face this alone but he was still going to keep his guard up. The figure that appeared next to the other Saiyan, Carro, suggested that someone should try to restrain the scientist.
Enzo stepped forward and began to smile. "I got it, I'll hold him back". Enzo didn't feel as nervous as he thought he would. He began to walk toward the scientist who was inside the house after closing the distance by about half. Enzo then sprinted towards him and leaped forward at his back in an attempt to put him in a full nelson. From the short time he trained in the Saiyan army he learned a few grappling tricks to restrain enemies. If successful in his action he would then yell to the others to help hold him back knowing that his strength alone might not be enough to hold him back.
So this man was a scientist and had created something, no, someone that had been taken into this house. "That explains the strangeness of the energy..." he mused aloud, even as the energy spiked again before dropping. Something was definitely off though. Why was it spiking and dropping like that? The energy of the creation Shiroi inside was about half of his own, with only Kari herself exceeding him in power at this time. He gave her a nod in greetings whilst the darker skinned Saiyan worked on holding back the scientist from causing any more damage. Dreizehn looked at the group, now including someone called a member of the Doragon race. He wasn't sure what the Doragon race were capable of, but given that the creature inside keeps fluctuating in power...
"I'll investigate first. My Namekian genetics can repair me if there's anything in there that I can't immediately handle." he explained to the group. "Miss Tianum, if you and the one on the cloud here could check the sides and rear of this house. See if we can't triangulate the exact location of this Shiroi, presuming you two can sense energy, and if they choose to make an escape from those angles, or the ones who are holding them try to make a break for it, either one of you should be able to handle them long enough for assistance to come." the Bio-Android instructed the pair.
He turned his attention to Kari and Itzal. "You two will act as quick response reinforcements as well as the front guard. We don't want any civilians to get harmed in case this goes the wrong way." he suggested to the pair of them. "Speaking as a... creation myself," he admitted to them, "we don't know what this Shiroi is capable of and should expect the worst." Dreizehn surmised before he began to make his way towards the entrance. He looked at the Saiyan trying to restrain the scientist. "You just make sure he doesn't interfere." he said with a nod before entering the building.
Everything appeared to look normal... Dreizehn tried to lock on to Shiroi's energy signature whilst being mindful in case anyone or anything else was inside this place with them. "Shiroi? Can you hear me?" he called out glancing at a door that led downwards, and a staircase that led upwards. Given the secretive nature no doubt of taking hold of another person, Dreizehn opted to try and investigate downwards. Usually people tended to try and hide things below the surface of other things, and so a basement level would make the most sense.
His experiment? Creation? Skin turning white at the words, Kari looked at the scientist with fear. However before she was able to say anything, the large power she felt inside suddenly began to fall for seemingly no reason. It appeared as if the scientist could feel it as well for the sudden drop enraged him. Growing in size, he ripped the door off its hinges and into the streets. Both fearful and curious, Kari tried to measure him to see if she would be able to feel his power. But to her surprise, she felt... nothing. It was as if he didn't have an energy signal like how her friend Cobalt didn't have one. Very faintly, she could hear him yell from inside the house although she was unsure of what he said exactly. "This isn't good at all is it." She muttered. As much as she didn't want to go inside the house, Kari did feel as if she should go stop him.
A scaled woman, Tianum, would come as her friend, Carro had called her. She had seemed rather eager to fight, although she wasn't even sure if a fight was necessary. Suddenly, the other saiyan would run towards the scientist and put him in a full nelson. Kari was speechless, however, Itzal was quick to comment on the matter. "Ha! That was awesome. Locking him in a full nelson is great." At least the scientist would be restrained and unable to do any damage.
Drezhein would then begin issuing orders towards everyone, with Kari and Itzal being assigned reinforcements. While Kari nodded and accepted her job, Itzal himself was quick to complain. "Aw come one. I can handle this. I want to investigate this place for that Shiroi thing." Rolling her eyes, the chameleon merely pulled the demon along despite his protests. Silently, she was thankful that she wouldn't be able to join in on the house. However, Kari made sure to continue sensing the others' energy in case something terrible would happen.
Sorry for short post aaaaa I'm posting this five minutes before school
Post by Ronin Sashouka on Mar 29, 2018 20:31:43 GMT -6
Whilst Kari chose to ignore the looming cloud-sat man behind her, Sashouka was at least acknowledged by one of the noisy individuals. The man's eyes didn't open wide, even whilst one raged out and tore away a door, instead remaining silent and observing. Of course, that didn't stop these mostly-strangers from deciding that they wanted to bother and drag the martial artist into all this. The nomad couldn't help but feel that, perhaps, the humble cloud beneath him had lost a lot of its shock appeal to common folk.
"One would think you could defend yourself, but I suppose that places like this house an occasional bad egg or two that has better talent to allow them to bully others. As for helping, I suppose I have no qualms with that, for now. Not as if I had anything to do whilst flying around today..."
Sputtering skyward, the cloud-seated warrior leaned forward to rest and allow the cloud to head up and toward the rear of the building. Going up high gave him a better look overall, but it also meant that he wouldn't have to simply walk around the building and risk getting hit with a falling shingle or collapsing wall. Especially considering that one of them was so willing to try and start tearing the place apart. One of the gathered group had also charged and was attempting to grapple the one tearing the place up, but there was little confidence that it would prevent destruction. As a man who had been part of or seen the arena of the dojo getting destroyed from simple clashes, the unfettered truth was that those like him with the ability to harness ki were on another level entirely. Preparing for destruction of real estate was honestly a norm after a certain point. Reaching back and rubbing his short purple-haired head, Sashouka couldn't help but wish that maybe he hadn't stopped. But simply walking away wasn't an option, especially since one wanted the man's help keeping watch in the rear. Even without the ability to sense ki, to which he kept to himself, sight and altitude would ensure the man could locate any debris or spot someone darting for it. Whatever was happening in this building, whether it was just some ridiculousness between oddballs or something sinister or otherworldly, the sensei of the Scorpion Dojo could at least see this much through.
Kagaku looked around more, seeing an entrance under a stairwell that seemed to go downward, deeper into the planet as a basement entrance. She seemed to be very deep and he thought this would be the best place to look. The door itself looked as if it was locked tight; a metal door, looking as if it was sealed from the inside. It looked like steel, as it was a weaker metal on his home planet, it was mostly used for currency.
He started to make his way toward the door before instantly put into a full nelson and started to be dragged out. “You filthy little human scum! I have NO idea what kind of infections, diseases, or what kinds of bacteria are on you that could be harmful to me!” Kagaku yelled, a look of pure disgust as he was being touched by this creature he had no idea what inhabited him in the sense of sicknesses.
He yelled out to increase himself, his body growing to 11’ once more, his body rising into the very ceiling itself, breaking into it and going into the second story. “Let go of me you worthless heathen! I am trying to find my minion and you are stopping me! I will make you pay you do not let me GO!” he yelled, extremely mad.
Attempting to, he’d reach into his lab coat and pull out a syringe and attempt to stab at Enzo with a paralyzing poison to make it so he was more sluggish. Of course his bigger size, it’d be hard to hit Enzo, but his speed countered that so he felt like he could do it.Carro Hofferson

TIA | CARRO CARRO'S PL: 10 TIANUM'S PL: 5,000
Needless to say, Kagaku was not very happy about being put into a full nelson. Carro stared on, snickering a little at the whining scientist's condition. Tianum was equally entertained, though after their foe grew taller again, she'd gaze on with concern when the man reached into his pocket.
A syringe of the sort was yanked out, which got Tianum on the move. "Look out!" She'd call, hunching over before darting to the restrained scientist, her mouth opening as a lighter stream of cold wind poured out, aiming to freeze over Kagaku's hand and the syringe upon impact. If it struck as intended, the freezing wind would prevent whatever that hellish liquid that Tianum could only imagine the effects of from injecting into Enzo. It'd probably turn him into some frankenstien monster- or completely melt him like goop, or something equally bad! Regardless, she'd try and leap up and latch onto the eleven-foot human's back and dig her claws into his shoulders for a better grip to further hinder him.
Carro glanced back to Dreizehn. "Seems like she's occupied now." He tapped his foot on the ground. "But Tia can't sense energy as far as I'm aware. However..." The saiyan began, reaching into his pocket. After fumbling around for a bit, the businessman pulled out his trusty orange Scouter with a smile, flipping out the glass screen and placing it on his ear. "With this, I can!" He chimed, turning the device on as it picked up the energies of everyone around. "...Wow, that freak is weak, actually. He's coming up with only a two-hundred." He spoke, though Carro was in no place to mock the man with his own power level. "I don't think we'll have to worry about him that much with everyone else here." The saiyan concluded.
After Dreizehn headed into the house and Carro walked over to where Tianum was instructed to go on the side, the saiyan pried off the window shutters of the house and peered inside. Everything seemed normal- it reminded him of his grandmother's quaint little home, in a way. Except for that larger, foreboding metal door, that was...
Enzo had locked on to Kagaku. Even after his size had doubled it was still pretty easy to hold on to him, it was however very difficult to get a good grip on him due to the expanded area that Enzo's arms had to go around. While he kept his grip on the scientist he had heard Carro say that his power level was only 200. That explained why he was able to over power him. After hearing that Enzo tightened his grip around him. "Your not going anywhere, not while I'm here".
He felt proud that he was able to take action and stall Kagaku from whatever he was planning to do. Enzo still didn't exactly know what it was he was trying to stop, but if this guy was breaking into someone's house it had to be bad right? All he really knew was that he was looking for something... or someone. The details didn't matter at this point. Enzo shook his head and kept his focus on kagaku.
While he was distracted in his own mind he saw that Kagaku was attempting to inject him with something. From the position that he is in he would've been able to dodge it if he had seen it earlier but it looked as if he was going to get a full taste of whatever was in the syringe. He kept his eyes shut and braced himself for what could possibly be the second worst day of his life. Even in the heat of the moment Enzo still remembered the soldier who had saved him from being killed in the invasion.
While his eyes were shut there was a faint blue light that passed by his eyelids. He then felt a cold wind blow past his arm. "Huh.. What..?" Tianum had taken action and was blowing an icy wind in an attempt to save him. Hopefully it was not too late.
