BACKGROUND
Carro Hofferson, the CEO of Crop Corporated and an unhealthy workaholic with chronic sleep deprivation, was struggling to keep his family company afloat. The business had been going for hundreds of years now, and the saiyan didn't want to wind up as the apparent family scum that was responsible for breaking down an important heirloom. He wracked his brain and spent many days brainstorming and suffering over how to keep the company alive, until he finally decided to step out of line and take a desperate risk.
The Plexroid Project, originally started by his father before him, was to create a line of massive robots with the purpose of combat and defense. Carro himself was weak, so he would rely on the eventually superpowered drones to fight and create a proper name for the company.
Carro spent years finishing each individual robot, and countless money, supplies, blood, and sweat were poured into the project. The first completed and stabilized one was his own companion- a panther-like creation that would command and lead the other robots while serving at the saiyan's beck and call. Though, the AI of the creature did come out rather... stubborn and prideful, matching the saiyan rider's own personality, in a way. LEO was a natural-born leader, yes, but the Plexroid proved to be rather full of herself. She'd listen to Carro most of the time, but tended to have spurts of defiance and stubborn backlash, which usually resulted in Carro getting locked in her cockpit with no response from the controls while she did her own thing.
To compensate for his own weakness and to better limit and control LEO, Carro created a suit of armor for himself that her AI could be directed into, and summon LEO's mech form herself with the press of a button if needed. He managed to better cooperate with his partner, though LEO sometimes hijacked control of the suit, with Carro inside, to do her own things. He's still working on getting her to listen.
Carro spent months trying to better control and tame the giant robot, with some success. LEO grew to at least tolerate and trust Carro. Now all of the Plexroids are all ready, though most were placed in sleep states since they had no pilot to be paired with. Carro began to pick up more employees, ones he could actually begin to trust. It's only a matter of time now before LEO and her fellow giant androids finally see the light of day.

TECHS AND TRANSFORMATIONS

|| TECHNIQUES
> Roman Candle [A1]: With a call, the two cannons on LEO's back, or alternatively on Carro's arms in armor form, point at the foe and release sparking streams of fiery, artificial ki. it can optionally be fired from another exhaust in LEO's mouth for closer range, though damage remains the same. It deals 33% of her PL in offensive damage and costs 1 KP.
> Crop Circle [VA2]: A technique designed to be used alongside the other Plexroid mechs. Carro or LEO's cannons point forwards, and are now able to combine with other techniques that also have the capability to merge, it's usual orange color becoming sparsely mixed with flakes of the other Plexroid's Crop Circle technique's color. As per it's name, the laser circles around a foe before bombarding them from all sides. This is fired at 33% of her active offensive PL prior to merging with other techs, and costs 2 KP to use.
> Laser Boiler [VA2]: An upgraded version of the Roman Candle technique. Carro, whether he's in LEO's cockpit or elsewhere near the feline, points a laser pointer's dot at an opponent, triggering LEO's cat-like reflex impulses. The feline lurches forwards with energy conducting from her cannon fuel into her claws instead, leaping down and pouncing on the opponent with swift slash that may take them by surprise and pierce through their defenses with the sheer sharpness of the cat mech's claws. This allows LEO to PIERCE through an enemy's barrier, negating half of it's PL if one is used. This technique is usable for 2KP and deals 33% damage based off her offensive PL.
> Willow Whistle [VA2]: Upgraded from Roman Candle. LEO rears back, a roar released with artificial ki fueled inside. The technique covers a wide range that makes it very hard to avoid, though the waves of shrill sound concentrate on one person to deal damage. The heated air from the roar's release causes their form to burn up and their ears to ring. Bystanders around LEO when this attack is released may have irritated ears as well or loose focus, but no damage is dealt to them. This technique, due to it's hard-to-avoid nature, has a HOMING effect that ignores afterimages, and is usable for 2KP and deals 33% damage based off her active offensive PL.
> Bottle Rocket [UA2]: LEO's cannons are instead loaded with a few rockets instead of pure ki. The missiles whip through the air and detonate into energy upon landing on a foe, or hitting something else if the foe dodges. This costs more energy than the base form, though, and can overheat her systems if used too frequently. It deals 66% of her offensive PL and costs 1 KP.
> Grand Finale [MA3]: Upgraded from Roman Candle and Bottle Rocket. LEO releases all of her pent-up energy at once. Both of her cannons fire along with her mouth laser, and several other ki outputs on her body all fire at once to nuke the opponent for maximum damage, at the cost of hefty energy needed to use this. Upon impact, a firework-like explosion shoots fourth, the burst of light an almost beautiful sight to behold. This technique, at the cost of 3 KP, deals 100% of LEO's active offensive PL at a single opponent.

This technique, at the cost of 3 KP, deals 100% of LEO's active offensive PL at a single opponent.
> Lancework [B1]: Carro or LEO fires their cannons down to the ground, causing the artificial ki to swivel and fly off the floor as a makeshift shield in front of her form. The wall of ki can be broken, though if an opposing technique beats the barrier, and if her PL is within 60% of the attack's PL, the damage is halved. If her PL is lower than 60% of the incoming attack, the damage reduction is only 25%. This is fired at 33% of her active defensive PL and costs 1 KP to use.
> Cherry Bomb [VB2]: Upgraded from Lancework. LEO gathers condensed ki in her mouth before trying to catch an opposing technique in her jaws. Her gathered ki, if her barrier's Power Level is greater than the opposing attack, absorbs and nullifies an opponent's technique. She uses the remaining power level the barrier has after taking the attack to fire right back at an opponent of choice! If this barrier is broken, it functions as normal- if the opposing technique beats the barrier, and if LEO's PL is within 60% of the attack's PL, damage is halved. If her PL is lower than 60% of the incoming attack, the damage reduction is only 25%. This is fired at 33% of her active defensive PL and costs 2 KP to use.
> Safety Cap [VB2]: Upgraded from Lancework. LEO disperses the ki around her to strengthen her armored body. The white and gray metallic pieces lining her body glow a light orange color when wrapped in this ki. This barrier remains active for three posts if not broken in the posts prior, allowing other actions to be taken in the posts after deploying the lasting barrier as defense as per normal.
> Quickmatch [UB2]: Upgraded from Lancework. LEO's cannons point down and her claws dig into the ground, a wall of ki forming in front of her form to intercept oncoming attacks. Any attacks that pass through this shield fizzle and dissolve somewhat, depending on how strong they are in comparison to the barrier. The wall of ki can be broken, though if an opposing technique beats the barrier, and if her PL is within 60% of the attack's PL, the damage is halved. If her PL is lower than 60% of the incoming attack, the damage reduction is only 25%. This is fired at 66% of her active defensive PL and costs 2 KP to use.
> Fallout Zone [MB3]: Upgraded from Quickmatch. LEO gathers ki in preparation to defend against an oncoming attack. To defend, she most commonly channels the ki through her body to focus the energy onto a targeted part- or parts- ofin her body to strengthen them before the attack strikes. She can use this in a more conventional bubble-shaped barrier form as well, if required to defend others. The wall of ki can be broken, though if an opposing technique beats the barrier, and if her PL is within 60% of the attack's PL, the damage is halved. If her PL is lower than 60% of the incoming attack, the damage reduction is only 25%. This is fired at 100% of her active defensive PL and costs 3 KP to use.
> Hangfire [VB3]: Upgraded from Safety Cap. LEO pumps even more energy to strengthen her defenses for an extended duration of time. Her entire body is laced with a thin, but very bright layer of condensed orange-colored energy. The deployed ki allows her to layer a SUSTAINED defense upon her body. This barrier remains active for three posts if not broken in the posts prior, allowing other actions to be taken in the posts after deploying the lasting barrier as defense as per normal. If this barrier is broken, it functions as normal- if the opposing technique beats the barrier, and if LEO's PL is within 60% of the attack's PL, damage is halved. If her PL is lower than 60% of the incoming attack, the damage reduction is only 25%. This is fired at 66% of her active defensive PL and costs 3 KP to use.
> Sparkler [SU1]: Using the warp drive built into her systems, LEO can create a portal with a mighty roar, extending from point A to point B of choice. Only LEO herself, or Carro donning her armor as well, can travel through the short-range portals to dodge attacks meant for themselves. The portals themselves allow for instant travel, though they can't be formed more than a hundred meters away from each other. Alternatively, it can be used to warp into weaker attacks meant for another. This allows LEO to dodge attacks within 100% or less of her active defensive PL.
> Morning Glory [SU2]: Upgraded from Sparkler. LEO's built in warp drive is pushed to further limits on a whim. Her form is absorbed into an internal portal-creator, making it seem like the colossal mech disappeared into thin air. Despite being instantaneous, it has short range and can only teleport LEO a few hundred meters away from an oncoming attack. Alternatively, it can be used to to intercept weaker attacks meant for another. This allows LEO to dodge or intercept attacks within 150% or less of her active defensive PL.
> Mortar Port [SU3]: LEO's warp drives activate internally, allowing her to seemingly blip in and out of existence at a whim. She can only teleport to areas within a few hundred meters of herself, and this instant warp is very taxing as it is useful. This allows her to dodge one technique at or below 200% of her active defensive PL for 3 KP!
> Dud [SU1]: The metallic body of LEO can turn reflective, like a mirror. Her entire body turns transparent, but it keeps an odd mirror-like shine to it, making her noticeable to keen eyes. She uses this to attempt to escape dangerous life or death situations. If she's damaged for over 100% of her defensive PL in the following post, the optic camouflage wears off and she is rendered visible once more. This is usable for 1 KP.
> Cannon Fuse [SU2]: Upgraded from Dud. LEO pairs her warping abilities with the usage of her reflective metal. In addition to turning invisible to all but keen senses, LEO opens a portal to warp through to further gain distance to assure a safer escape. The portal lacks the bright orange glow it usually sports with her dodges- it's completely transparent, colorless, though it still makes noticeable ripple-like distortions in the air when LEO enters or exits it. LEO herself remains reflective, nearly invisible- though again, she retains a mirror-like shine that can be pinpointed by close eyes or attuned senses. If LEO damaged for over 150% of her defensive PL in her following post, the optic camouflage shuts down and she is rendered visible once more, thus cancelling her attempted escape. This is usable for 2 KP.
> Suit Up [UT1]: LEO's usually massive visage condenses down into a set of armor for Carro to don. Both LEO and Carro can occasionaly hijack control of the suit, but coordination is key to mastering this state. As a result of the condensed ki and smaller form, LEO's defensive modifier is reduced by -x3, but she gains a +x1 modifier to offense when she has more energy to dedicate to attacking!
> Life Link [UT1]: A passive, always-active ability LEO attained with her newest surge in power. As powerful as she may be, LEO was designed as a companion above all else to her pilot. As such, she and Carro have formed this special ability due to LEO's newly activated systems and Carro's closeness to her. The Life Link seems to spiritually connect both the saiyan and his mech together. The two can share telepathic conversations so long as they're on the same planet with ease. Telepathy isn't limited to just messages- makeshift "visions" can be sent to and fro as well- they can even passively send each other their current emotions as well. The other would easily know how their "other half" is feeling, no matter the distance- if Carro or LEO so choose to share it with the other, that is.
In addition to their newfound know-how of one another, the "life link" LEO is named after has other effects. Any notable damages one of the two takes also hurts the other. If Carro stubs his toe, LEO would feel her claw hurt as well. This applies to knocking them out as well- if one goes down, the other does as well. If either were to die, the other wouldn't completely perish as well, but instead fall into a comatose state. It's hypothetically possible to wake either up if the link were to be somehow severed in this case-scenario, though. THIS TECHNIQUE ONLY EVER BE USED BETWEEN CARRO AND LEO. Other characters of any variety CANNOT EVER be brought into the Life Link.
> Portfire [SIG]: Upgraded from Mortar Port. Activating her warp drives, LEO opens up a portal somewhere around her. A foe's attack which is within 200% of her PL is sucked into the warp, and promptly fired back out at another one of her enemies instead of hitting LEO herself at half the power it was initially fired at! Due to the taxing nature of absorbing immense amounts of energy into the warps and firing it back out, this can only be used once-per thread. Usable for 3 KP.

||TRANSFORMATIONS
> Overdrive | +x3 or +x4 TEMPORARY: Useful when in a pinch. In dire circumstance, Carro activates a protocol where LEO takes on more energy than she can usually handle, resulting in more erratic behavior and tripled power, though it does break her down slowly the longer it is used. Repairs are usually done after due to her overload of power, and the costs come out of Carro's paycheck. This drains 1,000 XP per use. Alternatively, Carro can push LEO further into a Maximum Overdrive state, boosting her power even further. But if used in a DE, this will drain -2,000 XP instead. The flavor of this form is subject to change when stacked atop eventual future transformations.
> Leoozaru | +x1 PERMANENT: Usable with a Sacred Flute. Carro can activate his Oozaru Form in a pinch. When coupled with LEO's armored mode, the mecha can sap the increased energy from her pilot's bestial form to boost her own power! However, Carro himself usually takes control of their actions in this uncontrolled state. It's hard for the usual tactical duo to think or plan. Coupled with the destructive Oozaru's disregard for his surroundings and no understanding of the word "mercy", this power-up is best used in life-threatening danger, lest the monstrous monkey do more harm than good. In very rare case-scenarios where Carro's Saiyan Pride increases his fighting force, LEO can draw similar power from him without the Oozaru state in itself.
> Life Link | x9 PERMANENT: Unlike the Oozaru and Overdrive boosts, the Life Link is less focused on stress and power. It activates a spiritual link between Carro and LEO, evidenced by a slight orange sheen in Carro's eyes, along with green pupils forming in LEO's usually blank gaze. Aside from that, their bodies have no other physical changes. When Life Link transformation is active, the corresponding [UT1] Life Link technique is always active in unison. Carro and LEO feel and share each others' emotions, thoughts, and even physical pain, but they're still their distinct individual selves, even though mooching off of Carro's organic soul makes LEO's mannerisms a lot less robot and much more human. Regardless, the immense power gifted to LEO by this unique link is nothing to be trifled with...
> Lifeblood | x16 PERMANENT: A much closer, yet more volatile ascension of the Life Link. Carro and LEO share each others' thoughts and senses to a much greater degree. She must either be in her smaller armor form or be armored with Carro to use Lifeblood, giving him a few extra feet in height with a larger, much more imposing version of her usual armored state. Her eyes are layered over his, claws meld onto her friend's hands, and even a small set of fangs are propped in his mouth like braces. While it is stronger, it is an imperfect state that can falter and glitch if Carro and LEO become unsynchronized, contest each other's control, or experience otherwise conflicting, intense emotions. When they have stability, immense power comes with it.
> Soulbound | x22 PERMANENT: The mastered version of Lifeblood, originally unlocked by Carro fusing fully with LEO as an android. Yet LEO can power up into her Soulbound state even without Carro in her immediate vicinity if need be. Her eyes take on a completely green hue with white pupils. It has the mind-merging benefits of Lifeblood, without the downside of potential recoil from conflict between herself and Carro. This mastered unity between the mech and her pilot allows for nearly perfected synchronization between them both, as well as an immense boost to her power.
> Leoozaru | +x1 PERMANENT: Usable with a Sacred Flute. Carro can activate his Oozaru Form in a pinch. When coupled with LEO's armored mode, the mecha can sap the increased energy from her pilot's bestial form to boost her own power!
