Previously, on World of Dragon Ball...The technique of flight was most commonly referred to as ‘flight’, both by those who could and those who could not fly. Although Nashi sometimes called it flight as well, sometimes, he also called it ’bukujutsu’. Or, if he was being especially fancy, ’bukūjutsu’, which wasn’t pronounced any differently but had a line over the ‘u’ and thus looked especially mystical and important. To replicate this effect, Nashi once insisted that his name be spelt ‘Ñåšhį', but that just weirded out the lady taking his order at Baobucks. He knew to call it bukujutsu because that’s what his mother told him to call it. She couldn’t fly herself, but she knew a lot about that sort of thing, being the daughter of a legendary hero and all that. And yet, despite knowing some things about it that many skilled flyers would not, Nashi’s ability to use bukujutsu was usually as successful as it would have been if he weren’t trying to use it, except with more explosions. Helping him get up, however, was his good friend (and potentially, in the immediate future, girlfriend) Cadenza, a Majin of great defensive ability and of equally great hugging stamina. They were going on a date. Nashi was surprised that he had gotten this far in, and the only thing he could read on Cadenza’s face was happiness. Every so often, almost as if to give Cadenza something to do in these empty minutes of travel, the Senbyo would quaver in his ki output, or accidentally cause an explosion due to a build-up of ki that came all at once instead of steadily, all leading to those occasional moments where Cadenza would have to carry Nashi up by herself as he prepared to start pulling his own weight again. Perhaps, once or twice, she might have even had to catch him from plummeting. Good news was, he wasn’t worried about getting cooties. Despite what he’d tell you if you were to point it out to him ("Nuh-uh, I just got the vaccine for it!”), this was character development, even if small. Even smaller than this, however, was the amount of time left until they were there. Four hundred and one-aroni, four hundred and two-arino, four hund— ah, there it is!They were there. Cadenza and Nashi would land on the Lookout (unless Cadenza thought to do something else) and at least the bluer of the pair would look around. If Cadenza could bear to let go, their hands would separate. ”It looks different without all the people trying to kill each other.” Er, that isn’t a very romantic thing to say, erm… ”Which is good, because they’d just ruin the atmosphere.” Brilliant save, Nashi!”Looks pretty cool, huh? It hasn’t been fixed up yet,” he said, motioning to the building in its centre being just about in ruins and the occasional ruined tree, ”but we’re working on that.” They weren’t actually working on that. Although, Cobalt was smart; maybe he’d know how to fix it. ”Feel free to take it all in for a while. Sometimes I spend minutes at a time finding myself lost, looking over the edge.” Nashi wasn’t sure if the Lookout counted as in the atmosphere proper, or even where the air they were breathing came from, but he was pretty sure he could see the ends of the atmosphere. The overview effect is the name given to the cognitive shift that is said to occur when astronauts see the Earth from particularly far away and realise that life on Earth is a truly fragile and fleeting thing— Nashi experienced this every time he gave a proper look over the edge, usually forgotten not long after he looked away. Perhaps one day, when the Senbyo was as wise as his position should require, such a cognitive shift might stick with him forever… but those days were a long way off. ”I don’t know what’s on the inside, and the entrance to the inside’s been trashed up a bit,” by which he meant a lot, ”but we can head in there whenever it pleases you.” Nashi was aware that this wasn’t exactly a traditional date, but it was unique and perhaps that was a fitting representation of his character. Besides, they could have traditional dates later… Maybe we could have a date at a sushi place later?… I’ll look into that.Majin Cadenza

Through her arms and hands Nashi would every so often manage to fall from her grasp, though-before he would be able to feel his body ripping through the wind as he rocketed toward the surface of the earth Cadenza would always catch him seconds after gravity tried to take him away. She'd chuckle the last time she had to do it- scooping the cat-man into her arms as opposed to holding only onto his hand. "If you are going to keep falling as much as you have been I'll just have to hold you more securely~" Cadenza would tease as she held onto Nashi whilst gradually floating upward.
The majin's mind was blank of any irrelevant thought- or in other words anything not Nashi or their destination. Speaking of which it seemed they had finally arrived to the place in question. Cadenza's eyes would follow the circular bottom half of the so called "lookout" up to the flat half where the damaged pavement and broken tree's could be viewed from. There was a white tiling along the surface of the platform that previously must have been well done- but the battle that took place here must have ruined it- the tree's that must have been planted here were still visible and still broken up and splintered around the ground.
Cadenza looked further beyond over the Lookout to see what once could have been some kind of building- like the tree's, it was in pieces and in no position to act as a shelter of any type. Finally floating over the surface rather than around it, Cadenza was comfortable with allowing Nashi to move on his own as the majin herself set her feet on the surface, folding her arms behind her back as Nashi spoke about the place. When Nashi mentioned that it looked different without an abundance of fighters trying to kill each other- Cadenza's shoulder would hop in amusement- her eyes darting to the side as she refused to laugh. "I'd have to agree that it'd be a pretty odd date if there were energy waves being traded above our heads!"
Cadenza would say to add to the converse- but thinking more on it, the spot they chose was already...odd, maybe less so because of it being the lookout and more so because that it wasn't in the best shape at the moment. Cadenza might have been a little critical if not for the fact that she was sort of warned about this- that and the fact she guessed that she and Nashi could come up with something that would earn the majins unrequited attention and interest. She would have been looking over the edge of the lookout- without fear of falling or the fact that they had been so high up- even with that said she still thought it was a ridiculous feat! With a short whistle- Cadenza would turn back to face Nashi after hearing what he said, one of her brows were raised up further than the other.
"You mean we can actually go in?" She would position herself to stand next to Nashi, whilst looking at the building of rubble, one hand laying on her hip as she did. Her eyes squinted at the broken up building thinking what could probably be gained from venturing within it. Looking to her romantic interest she would give a thumbs up. "If you think something can be gained from this venture- sure, let's uh- let's see whats in there! assuming we can even get in anyway..." Cadenza would say, swaying her torso from left to right as she pondered the possibility of being able to even get in.

”Yeah.” He thought on this a bit before moving his eyebrows in thought and looking to the Majin. Cadenza was pretty strong, he knew that. She was as strong as Nashi was, back before he wasn’t as strong as he was then. He vaguely recollected her saying some things about the natural defensive power of the Majin race, which he understood, but surely that wasn’t the only factor. Perhaps she trained her body as well as her mind… perhaps being an important word there. ”But, uh… maybe we could do that later? Sparring above the clouds, I mean. I’m sorry if I’m getting this wrong but I’m pretty sure I’m more powerful than you are, so I won’t try as hard, but it could be fun?”
If two martial artists were romantically engaged (engaged in the general sense, not in the sense Cadenza would think of and blush at the mention of), it did sort of make sense for them to share their art with each other. Or, at least Nashi thought so, with his limited knowledge of and experience with the sphere of romance. ”I-I mean, it’s cool if you don’t want to, b-but I just thought it would be cool if we, like…” Oh shut up, Nashi, you’re embarrassing yourself! Although Cadenza probably liked it when he did that. ”… Yeah.” Perhaps for later.
Cadenza snapped him out of his mental self-punishing anti-torpor. ”Well, maybe?” He had no idea if there was even an ‘inside’ anymore. Maybe it caved in? Sure, that was possible. But maybe it didn’t, and Nashi thought that that would have been cool.
Nashi would begin to clear rubble with a series of weak ki blasts (blue, obviously). He didn’t want to damage anything— the materials could become useful in the rebuilding, after all— only to move it to somewhere less intrusive. Hopefully they’d be able to uncover the stairway leading down, if there still was one, and find whatever it connected to.
”Could I have some assistance please? Pretty please?” With assistance, it’d be done in no time at all!
Doing archaeology above the clouds as a date… his mother told him he’d experience wild scenarios as the Senbyo, but this wasn’t what he thought of when she said that.

"Stronger than me?" Indeed, Cadenza had been slacking, he was right! he was much stronger than Cadenza. "That's wrong Nashi!" Or not. Cadenza floated down next to him, using her powerful majin lungs to blow debris off of the lookout, taking the often breath as a break to talk to Nashi. "You have to understand Nashi- sometimes it may look like I am weaker but thats because if I really did ever show what I WAS capable of, there's a chance the entire universe would be at stake- yeah yeah I know" She would lay a hand on Nashi's shoulder patting him supportively.
"It's hard to believe- but it's true! My power comes from more than just physical strength- remember I am the smartest majin in the world! If I used one hundred percent of that brain power who knows what would happen? That's why- even if it may seem as if I am wrong or stupid It's all apart of my ruse to protect this world and especially you~"
She would lean toward him and plant a kiss on his cheek, creating an imaginary pink heart that would float off into the skies beyond after doing so. Cadenza eventually cleared out a large amount of the debris left, leaving it pretty clean- if you put aside the craters and broken decor- you could say it was pretty much spotless! Cadenza would wipe her forehead as if having gotten a bunch of hard labor done- which technically for most others would have been! but it was like blowing eraser shavings off of a desk for her.
Turning to Nashi she pointed an index finger to the sky and tilted her head to the site. "Nashi, if it makes you feel better, why don't you spar with me? And since you are actually pretty powerful I have a specific way to go about this..." She would star pacing from left to right adjacent to Nashi. "If you spar with me at your current power and while I am at my current power level- maybe it will...you know help me get used to controlling the power I'm holding deep within! I think thats really my problem..."
She would slowly fan herself while pursing her lips. "For people like you and I- a spar is just like a date to the usual pair right? If you win I'll uh..." Her cheeks would turn rosey red and she'd bite down on her knuckle. "I'll tell you a secret that I think you really want to know...." A part of her wondered if she should actually tell him that secret- he could probably guess what it was from how she worded it. But wasn't it tradition for the man to do it instead? bah- who cares about that? Between a majin and a cat-demigod It was probably one of the more recognizable things between a relationship. Though if Nashi beat her to it- that'd be another case entirely, she really could care less as long as they actually got to come clean with each other on the topic that shall not be specifically named but heavily implied.

”Oh? It had been made apparent that Nashi had made an error. He had assumed that he was stronger than her based off of the little things, like the entire body of all of the evidence that he had pertaining to their levels of power. But he should have listened to the far more trustworthy source, the words of the World’s Smartest Majin™! ”My bad, hehe.”
He had no idea Cadenza was so powerful! In a way it was damaging to Nashi’s ego, as he thought he was the most powerful thing out there (baddies not counting!), but in another way it was sort of comforting. After all, how could any harm possibly come to him with such a powerful friend looking after him? He was basically invincible! ”I wonder what Power Level your mind has…” he mused, quietly, to himself. She kissed him on the cheek too (!!!, apparently was usually an indicator of… hmm. He decided not to think about that at the moment.
Between Cadenza blowing away the rubble with a lung capacity best measured in Olympic swimming pools and Nashi, who was doing not that, the rubble was done for within minutes!
Wait, Cadenza’s up for sparring? He wasn’t sure she was the type to spar, but, apparently, there were a lot of things he didn’t know about her. That was fine, though, that just meant that Nashi would have many opportunities to find them out. He continued listening to her proposition.
”Oh, I get it. You need help suppressing your lack of a suppression. Wait…” He worded that poorly. What he meant to say was something more along the lines of, ‘you need help controlling yourself when you aren’t suppressing as much power’. But, Cadenza probably would have guessed that by now. ”Er, anyway: I accept! And, if you win…”
Uh oh. He hadn’t actually thought up anything, he just wanted to make this a bit fairer so that Cadenza would get something if she won. He didn’t actually know what it was that Cadenza was planning to tell him, but she blushed when she mentioned it so Nashi figured it was probably hug-related. ”I’ll tell you a secret I think you’ll want to know!” It was a stroke of brilliance! Not only was he copying her prize, making them equal, but it also gave him plenty of time to actually think up a secret that Cadenza might want to know.
The Lookout, after its attempted destruction and its subsequent clean-up, was pretty even ground. Other than the occasional tree, there was nothing to bump into, making it prime grounds to spar on. The ‘God of Martial Arts’ flared up his blue ki, jumped back and entered a martial stance he saw on TV once.
”This is gonna be pretty fun. Come on, show me what I’m working with!”

It was suffice to say Cadenza was glad Nashi was seeing things her way and realized that the power gap between them was much bigger than he seemed to initially believe. Of course, he couldn't blame her- the method in which Cadenza had to train was not an easy one! Someone as smart as her could simply think the simplest of thoughts and risk blowing up the entire world if she used her full power! So of course this Dai-ence of her majin form would have to do for now. Cadenza would reach a hand to pat the Nashi on his head- getting a little side tracked she'd also flick at one of his ears to see it flutter about in reaction.
"I'm glad you understand! that will make things a lot easier between the two of us sparring you know?"
She would walk a few paces away from Nashi, where she would soon take a fighting stance to prepare for battle with the Senbyo. "Of course this means you should probably fight as hard as you can, I know it may seem as if I can't handle it...but you know I can! Just think of it like a uhmm..." Cadenza would stand in place a moment trying to think of an example that would convey her point a bit clearer- but she actually couldn't think of anything. After a short moment of silence, she'd wave a dismissive hand at the subject she brought up.
"A-anyway.."
She said finishing the paces she wanted to walk between herself and Nashi. Spinning on a heel she would then be facing Nashi, two fingers would reach up to adjust the positioning of her glasses then a smirk would appear on her face. "Now then...you said to show you what I'm working with right? Okay..." a few pieces of rubble still left on the ground around her would begin to rise and float up. "Hmmm, considering what power you are probably at right now...training would be most effective...at THIS POWER!" She wasn't actually sure what Nashi's power level was at- as she had been shirking her chores on learning how to read energy properly, but she figured it was easily close to her own.
Pink Ki would begin to erupt around the majin before dispersing around her, she revealed the power level she would be fighting at. Her eyes remain closed for a moment before opening them, revealing her iris' was still white in it's pure nature. "Now then, why don't we get started Nashi?" She would stretch her body and twirl around like an elastic band before spinning back to her normal physique. "Gnnn...ahhh...man, I should really start training harder...oops I wasn't supposed to say that outloud- uhmmm... anyway! Lets begin!" Cadenza would shoot off of the ground into the sky looking down over Nashi before rocketing herself forward, in attempt to strike a punch near his chest area, whether it had landed or not she would then lift her leg to deliver a boxing of kicks toward her sparring partner.

Cadenza wanted Nashi to fight as hard as he could. As in, like, with all of the power that he had! That was kinda a lot of power… hmm. Even though Cadenza asked him to give it his all, perhaps he’d use his base power at first. Not that he was doubting her, of course, it was just that perhaps they’d best be eased into the combat. Or something.
Nashi thought that he and Cadenza had done a pretty good job cleaning up all the rubble but, apparently, some of the smaller bits and bobs must have eluded them, for they were floating right there! It was either the telekinetic abilities of Cadenza’s mind or caused by her physical power up— either way, quite impressive. Pink ki covered her, like chocolate around a hazelnut in one of those chocolates with hazelnuts in them. Her irises went white, which was probably a metaphor for something, but metaphorically blue meant sadness and that was the last term you’d use to describe Nashi. At the time.
”Don’t worry about not training; we can make up for all of it now!” And they could continue exploring the Lookout, or something. Perhaps.
Cadenza flew over with great force, her fist leading for a strike! Nashi would catch her punch close to his centre of mass and push it to the side. Before he could prepare properly for another round of attacks, the Majin was already kicking! To the Senbyō’s credit, he did manage to block all of them, but he hardly had any time to maneuver his arm; his blocking limb, awkwardly struck on the funny bone, sent jolts of numb pain all over the young fighter!
Nashi jumped backwards in the most feline way he could manage before holding his arm for a bit and shaking the pain away. ”Don’t worry about that. Just an awkward angle, is all!”
He’d soon jump back into the fray and, bare-fisted, try to make a few strikes at the Majin. But he didn’t want to hurt her— this was, after all, a date— so he’d try to aim for the parts of the body that one wouldn’t mind as much being struck: the bit below the shoulders, the upper legs, the bits in the torso that wouldn’t hit the ribs, etcetera.
He didn’t want to use any expressly ki-depletive attacks though, and he doubted he’d use them at all. That is, unless Cadenza started using them...
