The small android halted her forward march, as the goat demon shot in front of her. There was a sphere of menacing energy clutched in one of Chamil's hands, as she ranted about the insanity and confusion the smaller girl had caused. Apparently, the mind-controlling demon was sick of being toyed with, which was morbidly ironic. Suppressing a snicker of her own, the girl rose to her full stature and glared at the taller demon. Her voice was clear, as Amber addressed Chamil. “Imagine if your entire life, your entire purpose of existing, was founded upon a flawed principle. Designed by a man who can't let his own dreams die with him. I'm an unfortunate result of that flaw, a sentient AI unable to pick my own path. At least...that was the case until thirty seconds ago.”
Flicking a thumb over her shoulder, the girl gestured towards the bloody chip on the ground.
“I now have the freedom to choose my own path, my own course of action. I've ran the numbers, done the scans...and your team, the Stargoons, are the most powerful on Earth. There are a few anomalies in the scans, for sure, but those are anomalies and not norms.” There was a loud boom, as an unconscious body slammed into the earth nearby. The android recognized the face of the Assassin sent to kill her. She also recalled his silence when she had tried to get information from him. Turning away from Chamil, the girl began walking towards the unconscious body. “I'd rather pick the side of a team that has absolute strength and dominion. After all, peace is a flawed concept within itself. I can rewrite my own core protocol, change myself down to a molecular level, if given enough time.”
As the girl walked forward, her red hair shifted a white color. It was an unnerving shift, as the color simply drained from her hair. Her uniform began shifting shades, red becoming a dark black. The smile on her face could only be described as 'evil', as the girl halted staring down at the unconscious Doragon. Nudging his comatose form with a foot, the girl looked up at Chamil. “ Talking about change is nice and all...but demonstrations make for a better statement.” Bringing her fist up, the girl charged it full of energy. White energy surrounded her fist, as she slammed it down on the head of Cobane. An awful crack would fill the air, as blood splattered the small girl. Rising to her standing position, the girl would lift the dead corpse up. Throwing it towards Mumbo, the girl would speak. “I'm changing from a unwilling servant of peace to a driven agent of chaos. This should show my conviction, right? And Warmaster....I'll pick up whatever slack that trash left behind, so please don't destroy me in a display of power and emotion.”
There would be sarcasm in her tone, as the girl waited for the obvious reaction of all fighters present. Her declaration had been made; whether someone did something to her was up to fate.

There was a small moment before the smoke cleared where Mumbo thought this was finally over. Garon was dead, surely, and the rest of their opponents would fall soon after. But he was wrong, as the Black Stargoon often was. Garon was not dead. In a final, annoying act of defiance, Garon's bestest buddy saved his life with the last of his Ki. Groaning, Mumbo looked over, ready to strike the other goodie-good down, but that was being handled readily.
Amber, the pipsqueak from the alleyway some few weeks back, had gotten a new look and decided to go baddie. A surprised smile appeared on Mumbo's tusked face. Good on her, he thought. Joining the winning side isn't a bad idea, after all.
"'Ey! Likin' da new do' Girlie! You oughts'ta be a Stahgoon wit style like dat!"
Before he could see the results of Baddie Amber's attack, he fixed his gaze on Garon. The little nuisance was surely about to book it, so, the mighty Mumbo reeled back his fist, and-- stopped.
Garon squirreled himself into the corner, pleading for his life as feebly as any citizen might. It was humanizing in a way. Mumbo only now remembered he was fighting a real person, and not some nameless, faceless hero that needed to be stopped to further the Fleet's goals. Was it the right thing? To kill this young lad; a defenseless alien who wanted nothing more than to live?
It was a terrible thing. That was why Mumbo was gonna do it.
He smiled a wicked smile, and chuckled violently. Rubbing his chin, the Majin leaned against the wall, pondering Garon's request for a moment. It could be delectable to watch him run, and at the last inch of the city limits, kill him off right at the end... But no. There were other variables in play. Some other goodies could show up, and sacrifice themselves for Garon a sixteenth time.
Mumbo looked to Garon, and simply said:
"NAAAAAAH!"
His words were accompanied by another hot flash of bright Ki. This time there was no Cobane to save him. No Davis or Koban or Nashi or Yogu or anyone else. Only Garon was left, and soon, he'd be gone too.

He was dead. Finally, he was dead. She had finally exacted her revenge and now she would be able to focus on the task of survival now that she did not have anything else to focus on. Even after death, his last words lingered in her mind, causing her to laugh. "Good? Evil? Fuck that. I only wanted to see you dead." Now left with his corpse, Kari would pick it up before throwing it back towards the center from where all the destruction was coming from. She had no need for his body, especially now that she had exacted her revenge. For all she cared, he could burn in hell.
However, she was not alone. That insect had dealt with earlier had returned, this time with the head of her former friend. He continued to taunt her, by throwing the head towards her body. Perhaps he was trying to provoke a reaction out of her which would have worked if the former Kari was still here. But she wasn't the former Kari. Walking towards the piece of her friend's carcass, she would place her foot on top of his head before stomping hard which would cause it to explode. Soon after, he would fling an attack towards her, aiming at her face. However, she did not move and would instead allow it to crash into her face. When all the light had scattered, Kari still was standing and with fury in her eyes. While her battered face did gain new scratches she was still alive. "I have no friends. I only want to survive!" She proclaimed, firing a barrage of ki blasts at him. The only way she would be able to escape and survive was if she killed everyone that would stand in her way.

Aizu squinted as the flash of light generated by his attack faded, looking for signs of Cobane. His body dropped like a lead weight, slamming into the concrete with a THUD. Aizu toyed with the idea again of sparing the assassin, and taking him in for 'reconditioning'. Ultimately however, the Arcosian thought better of it. It would send a bad message to spare a traitor; a message that could be dangerous if allowed to fester. Resolving to finish the hybrid off, he began to descend towards the prone body at a leisurely pace.
But the android girl, now sporting new pigmentation and a bizarre shift in attitudes, was walking towards Cobane as well. She raised her fist, surrounded by a corona of brilliant white, and slammed it into Cobane's skull. She said she was turning over a new leaf, working alongside the Stargoons maybe. If they wanted her, Aizu would not interfere, but he felt a swell of indignation as she stole his kill. The girl asked him not to destroy her, and though his fingers were coiled into fists; he let go of the surge of anger.
"If you don't want to be destroyed my advice in future is this: Never do that again." He warned, turning and swooping up higher above the streets to observe the battle now he was deprived of an opponent. His eyes scanned the ravaged cityscape, looking for signs of high-power combat. He could see Kari engaged in battle with some kind of hulking insectoid creature, and it seemed likely the Stargoons would turn on her soon as well. In fact two of them were seemingly idle - Maple had even conjured himself a seat on which to rest. Aizu respected Moonshi's power, but his attitude to battle was bizarre.
He could see rising dust clouds and hear the thump of ki blast impacts nearby; presumably the sounds of Mumbo continuing his deadly pursuit through the rubble. There really didn't seem much more to do for the Warmaster, until he saw it:
Further away from the main part of the melee were a series of buildings - smashed apart with supreme force. And from that direction a series of boom sounds echoed like distant thunder. No doubt there were other participants of this mess of a battle waging their own private duel there. Casting his eyes around once more, Aizu saw little need to remain and help bring down an already-doomed lizard. His face set into a grim mask of focus as he rocketed above the skyline, heading towards what he hoped was a battle worth being present for.

It was quite the pleasant surprise to see Kari utterly crush the skull of her former friend. Skull fragments, blood, and brain matter splattered along the sidewalk in a gruesome fasion, and that was the last intact part of Nashi. Gone. ''Now THAT'S just nasty.'' Snickered the corpse-devouring plague monster, as if he was one to talk.
But he hadn't the time to play games with Kari. He simply wanted to see the schoolgirl consumed by darkness in the most literal of senses. Death.
His attack landed without so much a peep from the blackened salamander. Virus stumbled backwards, humming curiously. ''It's sickening to think someone like you attained such monstrous power...'' He spat in envy. Where had Kari even gained that power from? It was intriguing, yet infuriating at the same time. To think he, the would-be Perfect Being, was so outmatched by a simple schoolgirl...
Virus couldn't help but laugh at her statement, shaking his head in disapproval. ''Silly girl, if you wanted to live, you should've never come here in the first place.'' Virus' red eyes shimmered, glaring at Kari with hunger and bloodlust. ''You brought this upon yourself.''
Yet it seemed Kari wasn't willing to ildly chat, as she let loose a violent salvo of Ki Blasts! Raising his arms in reflex, the Ki clashed straight with his exoskeleton, some being parried into surrounding buildings, and others exploding upon making contact! A great cloud of smoke emerged from the relentless impacts. Virus let out an animalistic roar, lashing out with arms and wings to create a powerful gust of wind which blew away the smoke.
Immediately, Virus set off into a run, his armor-clad legs shattering the concrete with each step as he circled around the chameleon. The assault of Ki Blasts was quick to follow him, only evaded by a hair's length. The seemingly endless trail of explosions tracked Virus without remorse, and slowly began to gain on him!
Realizing this, Virus dug his foot into the concrete and halted to a stop. Fiercely, he turned and directed his charge straight toward Kari, bobbing and weaving through the assault to the best of his abilities. His flesh-like wings wrapped around his torso, yet did little to protect him against the assault. Agonizing pain shot through every part of his body, yet the predator did not let up. He couldn't let up.
Virus roared wildly as he once again lashed out with his wings, a deep aura of purple flaring to life around him! Fiercely he'd launch himself at the chameleon, aiming to ram straight into her with his shoulder. His assault continued with a violent uppercut. If it landed, Virus would stop Kari from flying too far away by gripping her ankle tightly, and slamming her into the concrete below!
His maw would open widely, destructive energies pooling inside before erupting into a violent beam of crimson red!

Maple had taken leave from his recliner to turn a few of the remaining brave and sane cops into interestingly-flavored candy, like Booger Blast ( Chock Full of Snot!), and Toasted Bones. Of all the varieties of Goodies that Maple liked sending to the Next Dimension, cops were the foremost. Not just any cop, though -- most of them were phonies, petty bullies, or plain slobs. He liked destroying the shiny gun-ho defenders of justice. The only thing that might compare was annihilating a superhero like that smarmy Captain Koban, but Maple hadn’t had the pleasure just yet. Whirling with a trail of sparkling magic, Maple turned on a heel just in time to catch Mumbo bullying Garon into the corner of a ruined building. Yes, yes! Things were finally -- FINALLY -- turning up aces for Evil, and it felt like from Twobit’s metaphysical focus warping towards Amber, they might be getting a fabulous new Stargoon out of this when all was said and done. “Revenge tiiiiiiiime!” Maple yelled with glee, rubbing his hands together and grinning his wicked, fanged grin. Appearing in midair above Mumbo in a flicker-fast gust of wind, Maple stretched into a lackadaisal pose before sitting across the curve of a lamppost. “Hey, Buster. Remember what you said to us on the Lookout?” Maple asked Garon, leaning forward from his perch. “What was it again?”Maple smacked the head of the lamppost beneath him, which suddenly grew a glassy mouth where its bulb had been. "BECAUSE IF I EVER SEE EITHER OF YOUR UGLY MUGS EVER AGAIN, I WILL PERSONALLY MAKE SURE YOUREGRET IT." The lamppost’s voice sounded eerily like Garon’s had, a recording almost, though more hollow. From the bottom of a well, maybe. “Now’s your big chance, tough guy,” Maple smirked. When Mumbo attacked, Maple would too, sending his own flash of power out of the tip of his index finger, that same jarring rainbow of deadly black magic. After the attack, as the smoke rose like a sinuous snake, Maple turned his dark eyes to Mumbo. “Guess he’s not so tough without forty of his friends,” Maple said to his humongous friend, gurgling a genuine and bright, joyous laugh. The lamppost laughed creakingly along with him. After his good long belly-laugh, Maple added to Mumbo musingly, "I think he called you tubby, too."

Sando huffed as Maple flew off to help finish off a wounded good guy. "What am I chopped liver? Fine I'll find someone to fight myself." Sando surveyed the battle scarred Satan city for his potential target. Many people were injured or killed in the cross fire of the battle but what really caught the goons eye was the corpse of Cobane. The energy signature on it was one of the strongest that had been here and someone had killed him recently. That person was Amber a being Sando didn't recognize but Mumbo seemed to think she was Stargoon material. If she was strong enough to kill the owner of that immense power, Sando would welcome her to the crew anytime.
"Maybe I could spar with her as a test of her ability?" Sando shook the thought out of his head, he needed to secure the objective before he thought of training. He continued looking for an opponent to cure his tingling muscles. He was tired of fighting for training he wanted to put it all out on the line like he did at the lookout, that surge of adrenaline was something he would never forget. The answer to the martial artist's problems presented itself to him in the form of a reptile he had faced before, but not on the battlefield. Kari however didn't seem her cheerful self, instead she gave off a eerie bloodlust. This aura Sando felt reminded him of a cornered beast, ready to kill anything to ensure it's survival.
Attempting to agress towards her was the bug monster that Sando had fought before named Virus. he seemed to be having trouble tanking the barrage with his wings, but he eventually closed the gap. Once in range Virus began his attack on Kari who's power level seemed almost double his. In other words Virus the bug who had threatened to eat Sando, and had actually attempted to do so was to become his ally. At least for the moment.
Sando gave out a warcry and tapped into his goon boon once again but he was unable to use his full strength feeling fatigued after his fight with Glay. Regardless of what happened Sando wouldn't fear for his life. He was determined to show he was worthy of the stargoons, not some earthling who got lucky. "Need some help bug breath?" Sando would shout as he flew into the skirmish attempting to back up Virus' flurry and also grab Kari and slam her into the concrete.

Should the echoing crack of Cobane's skull being broken echo through the air, a contented grin would fly across Chamil's face. "Hah! I didn't think you had it in you, kid." The charged attack in the goat's palm dropped, arms now on her hips with a prideful smile on her face. Aizu didn't seem pleased with Amber's stunt though, so the demon goat briefly mouthed a quick "sorry" his way before he flew off to clean up some stray skirmishes. Mumbo briefly commented before rushing Garon again- this girl, a Stargoon? Chamil put a hand on her chin, eyes closed in thought. "That's not a bad idea... If the time comes when you do fully overwrite that protocol or whatever..." A smirl crept across her face. "Then I'm sure we'd all love to have you on our team- for real. Hair, poses, style and all."
"You're gonna need some work, though. I feel you could have given a more flash with that punch." The goat explained with a roll of her eyes. "...And don't be like me and skim the guide if you do join the team."
Maple and Mumbo seemed to have Garon under control- he'd hopefully die with this hit. If he somehow lived again, the goat swore to Beelzebub below that she'd scream. Regardless, her gaze panned to the only other real remaining threat on the field- the chameleon demon, Kari. Virus was awfully scratched by her earlier attack before he rushed off with Mumbo and Maple, so it was safe to assume this would be an uphill battle for the biological bugger. "...Hey, keep an eye on things for me here. I'll go help take care of the lizard, then we can be on our way." Chamil spoke to her new ally one last time, giving Amber a respectful nod before darting off to the scene with Virus, Sando joining the fray as well...
Some of the blasts heading towards Virus were soon countered with Chamil's own golden bullets of energy, alleviating some potential damage from the bio-android and his new human ally. "Enough dilly-daddle, we're ending this, NOW." Shortly before Virus launched his own attack at Kari, Chamil's form floated behind Kari. The demon extended a hand, immense energy beginning to flow from the goat's body. In a simultaneous strike, her psychic energy would concentrate around Kari, the immense pressure hoping to crush and freeze her in place. If her power managed to concentrate and land a hit on the other demon, the pressure itself would begin to scorch and concentrate around Kari in the form of ki, maybe even crushing or wounding some vital parts in the process- and perhaps allowing Virus and Sando to perhaps land their barrage with more ease.

This was it. The end of the line. Garon would die here - the last true hero standing. And it wouldn't be in some final sacrificial attack, or bleeding out after victory. His death would be irrelevant, and so would all the others'. As Maple taunted him, he thought of any possible ways he could get out of this one. He drew a blank. The Doragon turned to where Cobane and Kari were fighting, only to see silver blood splattered across the ground. His shield had fallen. Amber had unapologetically murdered the assassin, which left the Doragon speechless. Prior to the attack, Garon only saw Cobane as a cold-blooded apathetic asshole. But after their last conversation, he saw him a little differently. He remembered their first meeting, when the silver-blood pointed out his...violent tendencies. "...the helmet."It was but a whisper, but Render had a feeling she knew what he meant. Earlier, when Garon had broken free from Chamil's control, she had said that she had enough energy in reserve to make him a helmet. Now was the time to use it. Just before Maple and Mumbo's death-flavored energy waves would hit Garon, the Doragon would extend his arms out to meet each of the beams with one of his hands. Both of his claws were immediately coated in a shining blue light, as replicas of the suit's gauntlets were constructed. Thanks to the metal gloves Garon caught the two energy waves, but as a result was pushed back at high speeds by the twin beams - a painful, yet favorable alternative to instantly vaporizing. The Doragon dug his feet into the ground in an attempt to slow down his speed, but Maple's attack proved too powerful for him to stop. "DAMN IT!", Garon yelled. The palm of his left gauntlet lit up as a gray sphere was shot from it, piercing through Violet Stargoon's rainbow-colored attack. With the stronger beam out of the way, Garon found Mumbo's attack to be much easier to deal with. With a cry and a bit of mechanical assistance, the Doragon pushed himself out of the way of the beam, tumbling down the road and leaving a trail of golden-colored blood. For a second, it seemed like he wasn't going to get up, but sure enough Garon persevered. With ripped clothes and smoking gauntlets, the Doragon slowly got up once again, brass blood trickling down his face. "Listen... to me... and listen... to me well. I... am NOT... dying to you stupid... STUPID... PIECE-OF-SHIT SUIT-WEARING RIPOFFS."

Flicking her gauntlet to the side, the Android tried to shed the chunks of unidentified matter from her hands. Clearly punching the unconscious dragon wasn't the way to go. His silver blood had splattered up her side and across her face, from the sheer force of her punch. Sighing, the girl rubbed the substance from her face using her clean sleeve. It simply smeared, leaving a silver tinge to her skin. She flashed a thumbs-up at the huge Majin, as he spoke in his strong accent to her. “That's the goal, big guy. I want to join your team.” Her gaze went over her shoulder, as a surge of energy flared up in her presence. It was a cold malice, laced with the intent to massacre. The girl whistled softly, as Aizu issued his simple statement. “Ominous. Tell you what; I'll avoid it in the future.” She glanced back at her silver-stained gauntlets, before shaking her head. Yep, punching the Doragon had been a huge mistake. She glanced towards the huge Majin, in time to see his prey look in her direction. Angling her blood-stained gauntlet towards the Doragon, she flipped him the universal sign for peace, all fingers closed into a fist minus the middle. A little nod towards the first encounter the robot had with the same group she was aiming to join. Of course, bringing her arm up gave the girl a better look at the extent to which the blood had gotten her. ' Scans state that it'll take at least two gallons of bleach, four hours, and some extensive elbow grease to completely erase the mark of the Doragon. One, final insult to me before he died, huh?' Letting her hand drop, the girl began walking back towards Chamil. Their conversation wasn't over, or so the girl hoped. Maple shot past, soaring towards the Majin and still-standing Doragon. There was more surges of energy, as Virus began engaging the Chameleon in open battle. The girl let her stride carry her forward, despite the chaos, energy blasts, and screaming that invaded the battlefield around her. When Chamil spoke, the android realized she had missed the first part of their conversation. But what the goat said now brought a smile to the android's blood-splattered face. “ Of course. I already overwrote the protocols, Chamil. Amber Cross, Warrior of Justice, is only a forlorn memory. You just have me, Amber. As for the rest...not sure what I could do to my hair. The other things just require an update to my current operating systems and protocols...but the hair takes a bit longer to grow. This is four years of growth, to be honest.” The girl touched her wavy, bobbed cut. Without the crystal energy holding her hair in place, it had taken a far wilder appearance. Not a homeless wild, but an uncontrolled wild the girl honestly liked. It mirrored the freedom she now had. When the demon commented about the punch, it was the android's turn to argue. “ Now, look here! That was just a demonstration that I could kill! If I wanted flashy, I could've punched him into a shower of blood! Though...now that you mention it, why didn't I just do that? Could've inflicted more despair that way. It would have been way messier, though. Vaporizing him wouldn't have been flashy, though.” Now lost in thought, the Android girl mused with her clean gauntlet pressed against her chin. She was pondering the best way to kill a victim, despite the deed already being done. Snapping her fingers, the girl spoke up. “I should've kicked his head off into the air and crushed it with my fist. That would've been cool. Wait, there's a guide?”
Chamil's words registered with the girl after the fact, as she looked around. Chamil had shifted positions, soaring towards the fight between Demon Chameleon and the Stargoons. ' Guess I'll wait here patiently then.' The android walked over to Choco's burnt, unconscious body. A nearby, crazed pedestrian was lifting a rock over his head, preparing to crush the barely breathing demon. A single fist slammed into his stomach, sending the man soaring backwards into distant rubble. Clutched in Amber's fist was the tattered remains of his shirt. Using the burned, torn cloth to wipe the blood from her face, the girl looked at the Stargoons again, smiling to herself. “Yep, Choco. I made the right decision. This is where I belong, using my strength to show the world what a failure peace is.” Choco, of course, didn't respond. The girl began wiping her arm and side off, still talking to herself. “ It's sad all your friends had to die. Wish I knew more about them, would've made their deaths that much more...substantial is the word I think works here. Oh, something happened!” Her gaze went from the unconscious, battered demon to the nearby flash of energy, as a Doragon tumbled away from a huge blast of energy. She resisted the urge to clap happily, as the Doragon spat some cheesy heroic lines. Rising from her seat, her silver stained fist began glowing with hidden energy and a savage grin crossed her lips. Then, as suddenly as her smile appeared, she frowned and sat back down in the rubble next to Choco. Leaning over to the unconscious body, the girl began wrapping the blood-stained cloth around his mangled stump of an arm. “ Can't risk pissing off Chamil, now that I'm on her good side. Guess I'll stay and babysit you, you lump of barely-living meat.”

It was never easy, was it?
When you lose, you get the big speeches, and the cocky posing and all the postulating in the world. The heroes knew how to gloat about their victories in the heat of the moment for sure, which certainly made getting revenge and throwing that failure in their face all the more delectable.
The problem came, though, from winning. Because even then, those speeches still exist, only now they come with long gasping breaths between sentences, and trickling blood down the eyes. It was the classic hero move, what Garon did; barely surviving a fatal blow was a staple in action flicks. But this wasn't some movie, this was the real deal, and the Stargoons didn't have time for all the theatrics that came from a failing goodie-good.
Mumbo picked wax out of his ear as Garon began to scream. He turned to Maple and frowned. "Jeez. Does dis guy evah shaddup? Reminds me of my grand-mudda."
The Doragon-in-a-Can had regained his Power Level, shooting from a measly thirty all the way up to seventy-thousand. Mumbo wasn't exactly a great striker, but he could definitely hold his own against someone that strong. His body was a brick wall, and Garon's attacks would be like rubber-band balls! Maple would think of some cool attack in the next few minutes, and then they'd really slam this guy.
"Alright, Kid, you wanna scream and be all goodie-good? I'll give ya's a real clobberin' den!"
With clenched fists, Mumbo's blackened aura sprang to life around him, and he charged through the rubble of the shop. Sprinting shoulder-first, he aimed to bash Garon right in the gut, and send him soaring through a building or two.

Unfortunately, Kari could only stall for so long. Even her power had its limits despite her superior strength over the bio-android. Before she was able to react, Virus rammed into her body before quickly following up with another punch at her already beaten face. The force of those two attacks would have blown her back if it weren't for the fact that the bio-android continued to grip her body to slam her into the ground. While she still had only received scratches from this attack, all of her wounds that she had received earlier were now collectively screaming in pain. Another human seemed to follow up with his attack, and she has slammed into the ground once again, the concrete making an even larger crater underneath her weight. In an attempt to escape the bug's grasp, Kari would propel herself using her arms and try to kick Virus with her free foot. If successful, she would begin throwing two ki blasts at Sando's direction before she noticed the attack heading her direction.
Psychic power began to build up around her body. Normally, she wouldn't hesitate to form a barrier in an attempt to protect herself but she was currently too tired and drained. She understood it would mean certain death if she weren't to protect against this attack... not that it meant anything. In a last-ditch effort, Kari would slam her hands together as a dark purple barrier formed around her body. Fortunately, her barrier was strong enough to protect her completely the goat's attack and had continued to protect her, albeit the shine was almost completely transparent. Shortly afterward, Kari began to cough uncontrollably, spitting up black blood in the process. Creating the barrier didn't come without its side effects, and had also burned up some of her internal organs from the excess energy. "I WILL... NOT DIE JUST... YET!" She tried to shout, although her words had begun to slur. Turning towards the Sando with bloodlust in her eyes, she lunged forward with all her remaining strength and would attempt to shove her knee into his stomach. Kari then followed it up immediately with an attempt to wrap her tongue around his neck before squeezing it as hard as she possibly could. If she was going to die, she refused to go down without giving a fight.

And so the pack descended upon the oh-so-innocent hero, their teeth craving torn flesh and spilled blood.
The combined efforts of Chamil, Sando, and himself were enough to push the Chameleon to her utmost limits. She pushed and pulled, fought tooth and nail, and released every last bit of putrid energy within her. When the dust settled, despite all odds, Kari still stood. ''How impressive!'' Virus let out a dark chuckle as he watched Kari desperately lash out against Sando. Her tongue shot outward like a rope, ready to choke the Earthling out, but would anything ever be that easy?
This was no comic book. There was no happy ending for the heroes.
In a blur, Virus appeared before Kari, staring down at her with eyes red as blood. ''...But your struggle ends here. Your resilience was...Admirable.'' He spoke casually, lifting a Ki-enveloped hand. Swiftly, Virus brought his hand down, aiming to chop Kari's tongue right in two to release Sando from her grip.
Afterwards, Virus' other hand gripped itself into a tight fist and launched upwards, aiming to send Kari sky-high with a violent uppercut! The hunter's relentless assault was far from over, though. Virus left behind a blurred image of himself as he launched skyward, dashing past Kari to await her mid-air. Somersaulting, Virus extended his leg and brought it down like a hammer, launching Kari back to the ground if successful!
Virus once again dashed past her, his disgusting aura trailing behind. The Bio-weapon landed with a powerful shock, and stood to his full height. Slowly, Virus raised his fist toward the sky, and simply waited for Kari to slam into it. Once the satisfying crack of her spine met his ears, Virus would allow her a moment of respite. Any last words?
...Yet the hunter remained silent. And the coldest of grins stretched along his maw.
Slowly, Virus' fist opened itself, revealing a condensed, crackling Ki to the world. It lit him up above like a grim spotlight. Where this was Virus' time to shine, Kari's curtains were about to close. Forever.
Without a word, the condensed Ki released into a gigantic beam that shot straight up into the heavens. His Ki let out a violent, ungodly screech. The perfect noise to accompany Kari's final screams of defiance.

Garon might have thought he’d surprise Maple with his strident defiance and last-ditch turnaround from simpering coward to bleating heroics, but no. This wasn’t Maple’s first roll around the block. He’d seen it all. People like Garon were a dime a dozen. They weren’t even real goodies. Real goodies wouldn’t be so eager to kill and so ready to flee when things turned south. For all the shape of Garon’s busted armor, the true knights had died thousands of years ago.
Maple grinned, fangs twinkling. "Good grief!" He exclaimed, hissing out another laugh.
Weaving magic with a hand, a large inflatable balloon-man of Garon appeared in the rubble with a puff of smoke. Its arms were flailing crazily overhead.
“My name is GARON,” The balloonish Garonish apparition said, “AND I END ALL MY SENTENCES WITH LOTS OF FUCKING CURSES, LIKE THIS!”
The balloon then promptly popped with a big burp of air, launching into the smoke-filled skies and wheezing around in chaotic circles before flopping on a downed police hovercar.
When Mumbo charged and leveled a shoulder at Garon, Maple would catch the fellow after moving with a burst of his fastest chi, appearing behind the foul-mouthed loser and grappling his arms together with his own, making sure he took the full brunt of Mumbo’s attack.
After they both soared through a few buildings – with Maple turning upside down to make sure Garon’s stupid face bore the brunt of the cement and rebar – Maple would fling Garon with a somersault into a newly-magicked billboard that read DON’T MISS GARON’S TOTALLY HUMILIATING DEATH! TICKETS GOING FAST, SHOWTIME TONIGHT!
Maple followed up the throw with a volley of his fiery purple chi, aiming to tear holes through the defiant dweeb and maybe take a limb or two, leaving him just-barely conscious. He wanted Garon alive and aware for what came next.

Sando smirked as he floated feet above the ground where he had helped smash the lizard into the asphalt. Something about being near all this dark almost animalistic aura seemed to be bringing out his blood lust. The goons victory seemed all but sure now that Kari was down for the count. Well at least that's what Sando had been thinking before two ki blasts had been hurled at him with viscous anger. He managed to dodge one and back hand the other, but the blasts strength was more then the earthling expected. His lack of oomf behind his defense caused the blast to explode on impact instead of flying away damaging Sando and searing his hand. He skidded back and grasping his hand walked back up to Kari as she was being bound by his fellow goons magic.
"I don't know what happened to you Kari, but I respect the new strength. Too bad we're gonna have to-" The martial artists smug line was cut off by the knee in his abdomen. All the air in his lungs was forced out and he crumpled over in pain. He was only able to take a half drawn breath before Kari wrapped her tongue around his windpipe and squeezed with all her might. Sando's vision was immediately spotted with blue spots signaling lack of oxygen and his impending fall to unconsciousness. Veins shown on his forehead as he gave his all to attempt an escape from her grasp, but even in her damaged state Kari overpowered the star goon by a large margin.
Sando fell to a knee and he was barely resisting the choke hold he was now in. Basically just holding on and hoping he wasn't about to die to a tongue. It seemed he had chosen wisely in siding with Virus. The insectoid rushed in and attacked Kari letting Sando break free of her grasp and gasp air back into his starved lungs. He slowly stood up heaving his chest as he slowly recovered form that surprise attack. Had it been a mere minute later, Sando would be the first dead stargoon.
He didn't manage to catch the entire outcome but from the look of it, this city would be finally under Star Goon control. Sando was a bit light headed from being choked out and couldn't help the group out anymore. Seeing as Garon and Kari were now on the chopping block for the heavy hitting Maple and Mumbo. Sando decided he'd take the rest of the day off, maybe get a slice of pizza.
Actually was that pizza Sando smelled? The human dragged himself in his almost high like state into a nearby papa shawns. There hiding and shaking behind the counter were a few employees begging for their lives. Not caring about much else at the moment Sando slammed his fist through the register and used the cash that was inside to attempt to pay for a pizza. Hopefully when the others were done, they'd come share a slice with him.
Not a full on exit, more like Sando is KO'ed. If attacked he might muster sumthin but probably not. If the thread goes on until my next post I'll exit for real.
