It took but a moment, and suddenly that foul blob surrounding the fallen heroes fully engulfed them. Writhing and squirming, the ball of majin-flesh excitedly jumped back towards Mumbo, who's tusked face was grinning wide. With all the force of a freight train, the blob slammed into his stomach, before covering the Stargoon entirely. The massive ball of gum began to expand and shrink all at once, and the being inside began to change.
A foul energy permeated the city as the blob began to take shape once more. Though originally fueled only by Maple's magic, Mumbo had gained new forms of fuel. Eating fighters wasn't just for the fun of it; for each mighty creature Mumbo consumed, his power rose in droves. And with four goodie-goods in his gullet? It was bad news for the heroes.
Suddenly, the foul energy made way for dark clouds. The mostly clear sky darkened into something stormy and gloomy. Thunder crackled far in the distance, and the pitter-patter of rain began. With a flash of lightning, the Majin's dark transformation completed, and the Stargoon let out a sigh of pleasure.
His body had changed. Consuming so many Doragon's and that scaley Demon had turned his smooth, gummy skin into a thick leather hide. His pearly whites had been replaced by sharp fangs, and his tiny tusks had extended slightly, even gaining a few friends. Best of all? He even gained a nose! ... Sort of. What was once a flat surface had gained a few reptilian nostrils, but nothing humanoid had shaped yet. Maybe a few more snacks would help with that.
Memories that were not his own began to fill his head. He could feel the influence of those heroes, but they couldn't do much besides aid him. The magic of a Majin's innards was mighty, after all-- with the bodies of so many warriors within him, he gained skill alongside the raw power. Brutish strikes would always be a favorite for him, of course, but if he ever needed to, tactics weren't exactly out of the option for him now.
"I gotta test out all dese new powahs... But latah, maybe. I'm still hungry."
Turning on his heel, Mumbo thundered after the other goons, hoping to catch up in time.
"WAIT FOAH ME! I WANT SUGAH ON MY PIZZAH!!!"
