''Stop by the headquarters sometime, yah?''
Terryn had mulled over the invitation for quite a while now, mostly as a joke. Being personally invited to visit the HQ of the Pride Troopers was quite the honor for him, and to have it be done by such a cutie got his heart pumping. Yet up until now, Terryn had no reason to visit other than drinks and board games.
Yeah, up until now...
The world was getting worse and worse. Crime and violence spiralled out of control everywhere, yet nothing even came close to what happened in Satan City. It was all over the news, papers, TV and internet, you simply couldn't escape it. An insurmountable number of villains gathered out of nowhere, drowned the city in their evil. Many died, and many were going to keep dying.
It...Terrified him. Many of his friends and family lived there- were they okay? Terryn feared the worst. He simply couldn't afford to think about it. He was done thinking. He was done having his fears loom over him like a colossal shadow.
...He was done sitting on the sidelines like a damn coward!
Hearing of these immense evils was the last straw for the once laid-back Skater boy of West City. The fire within his heart blazed with heroic inspiration, finally ready to bury his fears and become what he was always meant to be: A Hero.
The snow under his boots crunched loudly as Terryn walked up to the Pride Troopers' HQ. His heart sank to the pits of his stomach as his eyes gazed upon the building. He had always dreamt of visiting this place...
...It simply sucked that it had to be like this.
Buzzkill Terryn, coming through.
Terryn let out a heavy sigh, his breath visible in the cold North City air. ''Just do it already, you wuss.'' He spoke to himself. Nodding, he hesitantly stepped toward the main entrance. The heavy crunching of snow suddenly stopped as Terryn stood infront of the door, silently. A brisk gust of wind blew past him, howling softly.
''Alright...'' The Skater muttered to himself, slowly raising a fist toward the door. After three knocks, Terryn lowered his arm, letting the silence wash over him. His breaths were sharp. Nervous.
And so he waited.
Open to all Pride Troopers!

Things had not been going well for the Leader of the Pride Troopers, perhaps the only silver lining that existed since the attack on Satan City was the fact that the open challenge that had been made for control of the World Trade Fleet had been very effectively pushed out of the city limits by several of Earth’s defenders, Koban was particularly proud to know Terryn and Bella had played a part in ensuring that such a thing was moved out of the city.
The fact that that event had also kept Terryn and Bella busy also perhaps the closest thing to a second silver lining, by all accounts the battle in Satan City had been BAD and rather overwhelming and much as Koban trusted the strength of his friends he could not bare the idea that they could have died while he had been unable to do anything about it, the damage and loss of life that HAD occurred was terrible enough as it was.
While Terryn and Bella had been kept safe by protecting the Earth Koban’s reasons for not being present were far less pleasant, he had been geared up and taken off for Satan City, he’d planned to call in the others once he knew exactly what was going on but he had barely even gotten out of North City before he had been attacked, the Armored Villain once again striking at him directly. Every time he encountered them it had seemed they were increasingly dropping the pretense of other villainy, they had just been a means to draw him out.
Now the Villain was actively seeking him out and just as Koban had feared there power continued to escalate, and even worse even his Super form had not been enough this time as the Villain showed off there own transformation paired with a disconcertingly similar boost in power.
The battle had been brutal and while Koban had been left alive that was perhaps MORE troubling, the Villain had been relentless and ultimately left him beaten and bloody, but had not killed him, instead simply depositing him back at the Headquarters.
Koban was now mostly healed from the encounter, still his body was wrapped in about half as much bandaging as a mummy and his right arm locked firmly in a brace to aid the repair of the break he had suffered, things at Headquarters had been abit quiet otherwise, the others had taken up a lot of the drop in activity due to Koban’s injury.
Soon though Koban knew he would be ready for action again, he was healed enough for basic training which he had thrown himself into in an effort to do SOMETHING. It was during a light workout that Koban heard the sound of a knock at the door that he was quick to respond to hefting the door open to find Terryn on the other side.
“Terryn! It’s good to see you!” Koban exclaimed giving his Earthling friend a wide grin. “What’s brought you here, I’m sorry to say I’m not sure Bella is around at the moment so you’re stuck with me for now”
