Saiba sighed as she finished the lengthy mental communication that she'd been in since the events on the Lookout. Although communication would imply she'd been able to get a proverbial word in at all in the rather lengthy lecture. Interfering with mortal affairs, blah blah blah, revealing the existence of Shinjin on a global scale, blah blah blah... They did agree though that she needed to get stronger so that she could better handle herself.
The blonde Shinjin looked at the note that the demon Belladona had given her when they'd last spoken on the Lookout. It was an address in a place called North City, and apparently it was where her group had made themselves a base of operations... Although she strongly suspected that it would be relatively empty at the moment. Another situation that she wished she could render some sort of assistance on...
But that should hopefully change. If these people will agree to help train her and increase her power. Saiba sighed and shook her head with a slight chuckle. If the others back home knew she was going to be trying to get help in increasing her power from mortals and demons, they'd have an absolute fit... aaaand then she'd receive another long winded lecture about the situation as a whole. That would probably last an entire Earth week at minimum.
The blonde Shinjin arrived at the address, double checking the note in her hand and the location in front of her before knocking on the door. "Hello? Miss Atropa invited me for some training? Thought I'd take her up on that offer?" she called out, wondering if maybe she was doing this wrong somehow. Was there a bell she should be ringing instead? Was this even the right door? Or even right building? "Hello?" Saiba called out once more.

It had been a while since Saizomaru had come to North City. He had remembered much of it in three years, being a place he frequently visited in his travels when he was with the Earth Special Forces. Not all that much had changed either—tall, blocky high-rise buildings tens, if not hundreds, of feet tall lined blocks of the city. Small residential dome-shaped houses scattered her and there, though now most of them were replaced with larger, cubic-shaped structures. Above the ground a far distance was their signature tram line; a huge, winding tube of steel and pale blue glass that circled the entire province with a tram that took people to key locations in very short time.
Other than that, not much else was different. So much for that huge infrastructure budget, the android thought to himself.
Making his way through the streets, multiple people turned to give Saizomaru an awkward look. Some of them were looks of curiosity, while others were of a more ambivalent nature. It had hardly surprised him—it wasn't everyday that a robot walked amongst them, and when one did it was often made to look more human in appearance to better blend into the common masses.
The man's simple stroll took him to one of the marketing districts, something that North City was known for. A lot of the stalls held goods for cheap prices, most of them of good quality, though there was the occasional unscrupulous salesperson trying to pass off their cheaply-made knockoffs as the real deal. Even more concerning were the punters who fell for such a scam.
But as the android continued down the street, he took notice of a small girl standing by one of the doors to a building that lined one side of the alley. She was fairly short—in comparison to him, at least—and covered in red garb with black accents and gold trim. More curiously was the sword that she was carrying with her. It had a mix of modern-yet-olden look to it. It was like she jumped out of one of those video games.
"Yo!" he called out to her as he made his way over, compressive soles of his metal boots making his steps eerily silent. "If you're looking for cheap goods, the stalls are that way." He pointed over his shoulder with a thumb, gesturing the wide alleyway he had made his way from.
Dunno why but this scene reminds me of Doctor Strange…

Badum: 8,000 Tess: 5,000 Badum walked through the city, getting used to the planet. Throughout his brief journeys of Earth so far, he had noticed an increase in power in his own power. Although he could not sense energy, he was close enough to Tess that he could tell their relative power, and for the first time in his life, he suspected he had grown stronger. Tess had a head start over his head, being older, however he was not aggresive. His defensive style made it much harder to increase his power and train than it was compared to Badum. Badum's training was an all out offensive which made it relatively easy for him, and as a result he had a little skip in his step. He felt some happiness while walking through the city, the memory of his exile only rising to his mind in rare occasions. Now he wanted to test his power. He knew Tess wouldn't approve, but then again he was likeley stronger. Maybe he should start protecting Tess, he thought with a smile to himself.
As the pair continued in the city, Badum found someone standing at a door, asking about training. This was not notable, however the sword caught his attention. He glanced at Tess's back, looking at the two swords he rarely needed to use, and Badum stood out of the way, watching what would happen. Perhaps this person was someone of interest.

The blonde Shinjin blinked as she heard someone addressing her, turning her head to look at the long silver haired man covered in armour. "Not here for any cheap deals sorry." she partially explained as she appraised the individual in front of her. She couldn't sense any energy coming from him, which could mean he was either very good at suppressing his energy, or all that armour he was wearing... he wasn't actually wearing at all.
She held up the piece of paper with the address that she'd been given. "One of the Pride Troopers gave me this address, suggesting that I could get some training in with them, after what happened a while back." Saiba explained before looking around at where they were. "At least I think this is the place... never been that good with human cities." the blonde Shinjin admitted.

Saizomaru blinked. With a hum, he folded his arms across his chest. "Oh? What're here for then?" he casually asked. He had a fairly shrewd idea as to her purpose. With her look and carrying that large sword around with her, he expected her to be part of some sort of vanguard or some other martial guild.
He looked at the note that she held up for a brief moment. Reaching out with a metal hand, he briskly took the piece of paper from her to get a closer look. He paused for a moment, looking up from over the note to the building before them. "Oh yeah, this is definitely the right place."
As he made his way past the little shinjin, he tucked the note behind one of her elongated, pointed ears. Stepping up onto the door landing, he rapped his knuckles against the entrance, three knocks of metal against wood. "Yello? Anyone home?"
No answer.
He waited a few seconds, and then knocked once more, this time beating the back of his hand against the door harder. "Girl scout cookies! Freshly baked! We got chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin!"
Still no answer.
With a sigh, he turned to Saiba. A small smirk spread across half-flesh, half-synthetic lips. "You reckon the oatmeal raisin put them off?" he had asked her in a humorous, sarcastic tone. He turned back around to the door, looking up at the elevated windows to see if he could see anything. No movements. No lights. "Ah well. At times like this you just gotta—" the android thrust a leg outwards, booting the door down, shattering the lock and flinging the entire thing from its hinges, slamming it onto the floor with an explosive crash "—bust down the door like you own the place!"
He extended an arm out from his side, gesturing her to enter. "Ladies first."

Badum: 8,000 Tess: 5,000 The quiet pair watched, a curious set of events unfolding. From the crowd an odd looking man walked up and began talking to the sword weielding person. Badum looked at his brother, a curous look on his face, when suddenly the man's leg shot at at such a speed and power it easily went through the door. This man was powerful. Badum and Tess looked at each other again, nodding their head. They were going to follow these two, and find out what was going on.

Well that was a relief, she was actually at the right address. Human cities were always a little confusing, with so many drives of the same name, so many lanes etcetera. Saiba perked an eyebrow though when the android male declared they were these girl scout things selling cookies, apparently in order to garner attention from anyone still inside.
"I've no idea what oatme-" she began to say before the silver haired android proceeded to break down the door! She stood there, jaw dropped at the sight, and the gall at the android to suggest she just walk on inside! "Isn't that a bad idea on this world? Just breaking in to someone else's building like that?" the blonde Shinjin asked, rubbing the back of her head as she tried to figure out what to do now.
If any of the Pride Troopers were to make an appearance now, it would not look that good for her... Although having said that, the pair of Namekians who were watching herself and the android were starting to creep her out a little. She had thought they were merely curious onlookersat first, but the way that they were looking at the pair... Saiba sighed. "Alright then, damage is done... Lets see if we can find someone to apoloise to for you breaking down their door." said Saiba as she walked inside.

North city was a place of wonder and rancid smells, a place which boggled the mind and bothered the belly. It was a hunting ground of sorts of hers , the people paid well and the candy was not so bland. Such a city was an average city to most earthling but to her it was special in some way. She walked along the streets this day a few bumps and grunts from passerby as she simply kept walking Her pale eyes kept forward as i'f her path was aimlessly ahead. Today was going to be a good day she was paid, her belly was full and now was the time to... she saw a tall grey haired man and woman with a pretty big sword approach a building. Big swords usually mean big business and so she decided to watch within the crowd as the grey haired andriod destroyed the door with a sudden kick. She was pretty sure that was illegal, breaking doors were not allowed in this place, well at least in this city ... maybe in the desert areas it was different.
She jumped up into a flying motion as she zoomed up and landed behind them about five meters from the entrance of the house, " hey you evil doers , breaking and entering is a crime, what do you have to say for yourselves?!" She crossed her arms as she looked forward a straight face to the intruders. " you are five seconds too late taste majin fury!" She charged up a ki blast as it shot forward splitting in two toward both of them, it was meant to stun them and so it did not have much power in it, but it did however destroy some glass objects in the home. Such objects were the price to pay for justice! Before she could release another ki blast her antenna shot forward picking something up between the two beings, " Oh my kai's are you a ?..." Her eyes widened a bit as she looked toward them.
"one of you is a godly being...what is a godly being doing here?..." She would speak up nonchalantly as i'f she didn't just blast them with her ki. This was starting to get more interesting by the minute, she knew today was going to be a good day! This was way better than finding out the new chocolate flavored taffy specs anyway, (it would probably be to chewy).

If nothing else then at least Saizomaru was a gentleman. Granted, a gentleman intruder, but a gentleman nonetheless.
He followed the shinjin close behind as they both stepped through the doorway. In front of them was a large foyer, floored in pristine, white marble tiles accented with expensive-looking rugs. A wide staircase then split into two, circling stairways lead onto the landing of the next floor. Glancing around, the android took note of the expensive furnishings—side tables had ornate vases and other decorations; paintings of no doubt high monetary value, if not priceless, hung on the walls; above them was a huge chandelier of gold and crystal. He estimated about two-hundred droplets hung from the framework.
"Quite the lavishing abode, isn't it?" he spoke out with a half-smile. If only he had this amount of money to blow.
But before much of a conversation could take place, the pair were interrupted by someone behind them just outside. Saizomaru turned to see only a short, pale figure with not much on in terms of clothing.
The android blinked. "Hey… Hey," he muttered as he began to tap and nudge at the shinjin's shoulder, trying to get her attention, "did that stick of bubblegum just talk?" The small… alien thing piqued his interest. He took a step forward, and gave a little wave. "Yo!"
Though it was met only with a blast of energy zipping towards the two. In response, the plates around Saizomaru's arm shifted and slid as pistons fired. Two triangulated shuriken sprung from a hidden compartment between the android's fingers, glowing a bright yellow and arcing with lightning. With a flick of his wrist, blades collided with ki that erupted into explosions. The shockwaves blasted in all directions, inside and out of the foyer. Dismounted pictures and broken glass became collateral in the exchange.
As the flares dimmed and the smoke faded, all that was left was cracked walls and shattered fragments strewn on the floor.
"Oh, just brilliant," he grumbled to himself. He reached over to one of the side tables, picking up a gold-framed mirror. Half of it was broken, and whatever remained in the frame had been cracked. He held it up and waved it towards the majin, causing more fragments to fall onto the floor with a clinking noise. "This is nine years bad luck, you know! What're you gonna do about it?"
But by this time the majin had changed her tune. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of it. He turned back to Saiba. This girl? A godly being? Yeah, and he's the Prince of the vegetable people.
He gaze focused back round to Zin. "Keep your guard up," he suggested to the girl next to him. "This could end up being a long day…"

Badum: 8,000 Tess: 5,000
As the two proceeded to break down the door and enter, before Badum could attempt to follow, a pink creature suddenly confronted them. He looked at Tess, not recognizing a Majin. As the creature spoke of someone being divine, Badum's eyes went wide. What power could such a being posses? The pair of Namekians now walked closer, not joininng in the conversation but obvioisly interested. He stood between the two groups, waiting. If a battle broke out, which side he joined could make the difference. He looked between the three, trying to decide.

Saiba looked around the place, not quite certain at what it was that she was looking at. This was far too fancy for what she had thought to be the Pride Troopers base of operations. She had been expecting something perhaps a little... well, less ostentatious than what she was seeing here.
The Shinjin sighed and was about to ask the android if this was indeed the right place and that maybe he'd gotten the address wrong as well, when they came under attack by... a Majin?! Saiba grit her teeth as she brought her sword around, using the large blade like a shield against the energy blasts. "This is the second time a Majins attacked me... I'm getting sick and tired of it already." she snarled, even as the attacks stopped.
The Majin could apparently sense her natureas a divine being. No doubt a throw-back to the original, since a few of her kind had been absorbed by that beast. "If you must know, I came here after one of the Pride Troopers gave me an address, and offered to help with my training, after that incident on the Lookout." the blonde Shinjin explained, lowering her sword a little. "You know, the one that had been televised, with the giant snake demon?" she pointed out, working to jog the girls memory.

The Dust cleared and it seemed the two handled themselves well against the blast. The grey haired tall one mentioned something about bad luck, " I'm a majin I don't think we have a need for such thing" She blinked toward in his direction blankly, well these two were lively, that was something the majin was not used to. " huh guess i'mm gunna have to try harder.." The grey hair robot seemed to be ready for a fight this made the pale skinned majin a bit antsy, well not saiyan but still pretty amped. "well I'f we are gunna fight guess I'm gunna have to go all out"
After discovering the godly being the majin simply stood in a defensive stance, as she explained herself her fists lowered " huh maybe you should've started with that? looking for people for some training huh..." she mentioned something about the lookout, perhaps it was during the time of a job but such a thing did not jog her memory, she motioned her hands in a circular fashion for the kai to go on " during the times of the attack I must've been away, can you tell me more about this incident, it may have been done by a goat faced retch i'm familiar with.." she made her hands into a fist as she mentioned the demon. " I was gone for abit , the battle in the desert nearly cost me my life, but lucky for me I'm a majin... I regrew all of my limbs... most of my body.. It took more than a few days but I was able to come back..."
She was attacked by a frantic namekian and the demon left her for dead in the desert, through luck and her regenerating abilities she was able to get out of there alive. " the pride troopers are something new to me as well do you mind explaining that to me too" She looked out to the group of alien which seemed to get closer everytime she turned to them were they with the kai as well? " hey do you know these two? they seem interested in what we're talking about..." She pointed toward the two namekians. " they don't seem like their causing any trouble but your the divine being , so I'm pretty sure you can feel their intentions or something" She looked over to the shinjin with a look which meant she was being sincere.

The android remained posed for combat. It seemed as though she was prepared for an eventual combat scenario, much to Saizomaru's chagrin.
But the shinjin girl sparked a revelation that made the pair of them lower their guard. He turned to Saiba, raising a brow. "Woulda been nice if you had told the bubblegum girl that a little earlier, don'tchya think?" he exasperated. With a sigh, he rolled his shoulder. "Y'know, with the place pretty empty, there isn't much else to do here."
Something else that she had mentioned jolted the android's memory as well—the commotion at the Lookout. Saizomaru had received a transmission on his communications channel about the event, a broadcast from one of ZTV's radio stations. He wasn't there for it, but it seemed as though the shinjin knew more about it than he did. Perhaps she was there for it? In any case, Saizomaru remained silent, opting to leave the topic be. The majin was apparently lacking is knowledge of the attack too.
He listened to Zin as she asked about the Pride Troopers. "Well, the abridged version of it is that the Pride Troopers are… I guess Earth's defenders," the android responded, giving a light shrug. "You could say they are the spiritual successors of the Z-Fighters of old. That's my take on them, anyways."
As the majin mentioned the two Namekians still outside of the building, he gave a swish of his wrist, gesturing of waving them off. "Eh, don't worry 'bout them. Probably sight-seeing or something. Besides, if they do cause trouble, we'll be here to make sure nothing else gets broken." he shot her a slight smirk. "Hope you've got the cash to pay for the damage you caused here."
But… seeing as they were here, Saizomaru thought of an idea. He turned and placed a metal hand on Saiba's shoulder. "Still, since we're here… and you're looking for training… why don't I teach you? You could be, like… my li'l student of sorts."

The Namekians listened carefully, hearing every word of the conversation. As one of them mentioned training Badum took a second look at him, cursing his inability to sense power. He had no idea if he was truly strong, but with an offer like that he had to be. He waited a few minutes, trying to decide, before he stepped towards the group, not caring if they wanted him there. "You're training people?"

Saiba raised an eyebrow incredulously at the Majin, then at the metal man. "I didn't get a chance before she opened fire without warning. Remember?" she pointed out as she shook her head. "Mortals... such short memories." she mused, teasingly. When asked about what happenend at the Lookout and about the demon, she shook her head, this time in mkre of a negative than earlier.
"Didn't see anything goatish about him. More like a snake version of that giant ape thing that Saiyans can turn into." said the blonde Shinjin. "As for me... I just worked on keeping this dragon cyborg kid from dying, whilst my own presence weakened the demon. The Pride Troopers worked on kicking his scaly arse, along with his Majin ally, named Mumbo." Saiba explained. "Him and I have crossed paths before... Not a nice guy." she said, rubbing the back of her head. She could almost feel the phantom of a lump she'd taken when she'd faced the grey skinned banana suit wearing Majin.
The cyborg was now apparently offering to give out some training of his own for them all, and their Namekian observers were now making a move of their own, inquiring about the training as well. Saiba shrugged. "Well, I do need to get stronger if I'm going to be more use than a sideline act. Sure, I'm in."
