PL 3000
The fish had become scarce in the recent months with the shoals which had so often collected in groups numbering far beyond a reasonable amount having withered away to only a few dozen fish in a given kilometer at any one time and it was both worrying and annoying to a particular Majin who relied upon the fish as her sole meal. She had heard talk in the villages of things like 'overfishing' and 'pollution' but didn't have the knowledge base to grasp much more than it meaning that she had eaten a tad too much and was the number one cause of food becoming scarce in this little region.
So Azarath had come to a decision then and there to leave the tiny fishing villages behind and find somewhere with a more plentiful amount of food for her to snack on. Forests and deserts and mountains filled with all sorts of things for her to absorb in which none of it held. She had even found one of a suitable nature soon into her adventures deeper into the archipelago, a forest of tall grass and taller trees which did little to hide the sun.
Azarath plucked through by following her nose, looking for anything to quickly absorb before moving onto a different and better place. "Gaah-" she allowed the sound to roll from her mouth as she simply allowed small rivulets of her bubblegum body to roll across the grass and steal bugs and small reptiles from it. It seemed she would still need to find bigger and better prey.

BALANCED DIETGAEA'S PL: 1,000 --------------------------------------- OOC: byork
It wasn't long before loud, echoing barks and yaps began to echo through the forest around a certain feeding Majin. From seemingly nowhere, sprinting through the shallow riverbed beside Azarath came a massive green and brown blur, stirring up a mass of splashing water and a few stray fish that were unfortunate the be caught in the dashing creature's wake. Gaea initially intended on visiting some graves to pay some respects to one of her previous partners, but now a new mission was at front-and-center in her canine mind. Catch that squirrel.
Gaea came to a stop at the base of a nearby tree, promptly moving up onto her hind legs and prodding her other front limbs on the tree bark, head raised and furiously snapping and growling at a small squirrel, which seemed to not mind the canine at all. 'GET DOWN HERE, YOU LITTLE--!' Her tone briefly snapped telepathically with instinct, fading once more before she began barking numerous profanities in her dog language of yaps and roars. Despite her incessant pushing and yelling, the little squierrl leapt up and disappeared into the shrubbery, leaving a very dissappointed and now silenced Gaea still staring up into the trees, bliss to another's presence nearby.

Exploring, it had really been her main activity lately, especially as she had yet to work up the guts to actually visit a populated area. It was an archipelago this time, a cheery little string of islands she'd noticed while flying overhead. It was devoid of any obvious signs of civilization, only another small baby step outside her comfort range really. Shiver was more than fine with that though, she'd rather carefully feel out the waters than drop off into the deep end. At least this way she'd be able to narrow down a good area or place to finally make contact with someone, or at least grow a bit stronger along the way.
Zipping down closer Shiver picked up speed a bit, generating a spray of water behind her as she accelerated towards one of the islands, the sun flashing wildly off her silver biogems. A cursory inspection from overhead revealed nothing of interest and thus she moved on to the next. This was a bit more sizable, with a large forest ripe for exploring. Here the Arcosian stopped, considering with a tilted head whether to go on. Then however, she heard what sounded like...barking? Looking around Shiver couldn't see anything, likely because of the trees so instead she reached out with her other senses. To her surpise, she registered two higher power levels somewhere below her within the trees. Huh, well how about that.
Shiver decided to investigate in an instant, wanting to meet a dog who felt this powerful. She also knew she had to make some contacts eventually, and there could be worse situations for it. It was a good thing she was only in her first form, the others, in her experience at least, proving untenable during introductions. Calmly and quietly she would descend through the upper branches to alight a stump near the powers she'd sensed, tail erect out behind her to help her balance.
Well now...that was an interesting dog. She had yet to notice the other being quite yet, her focus purely on the yapper.

Padded feet beat a terrible beat across the forest floor and shook the insects hiding in the crevices of dirt to stir and shift and run away! Escaping the terrible pink mass that was in fact an innocent Majin looking for an easy meal and leaving her penniless and still starving. Of course that thing had caught her attention long before realizing the food was gone, the pink slime that had been rolling across the grass sticking onto her legs once more and fusing together in an almost liquid splash of Majin.
There was a dog barking up a tree like a little maniac and of course Aza knew what a dog was much like she understood things like pets. Why people kept them when all they did was eat your food was always incredibly vexing to the simple Majin but she was never one to question the villagers lest they tug at her head for asking such silly things. Still if there was a dog here that would mean it had either gotten lost or it had run away from it's owner. Azarath approached the thing slowly before being rebuffed by something slamming against her mind and words entered her mind as if yelled by some insensate man before fading once more.
"Gaah-" she ground out in her own semblance of language while stumbling back from the barrage of telepathy. Was that a new trick the dog had learned? It was spectacular! Honestly Aza had never met such an impressive dog before and she had once met one it's owner had bragged was made for killing bears! Why kill bears and not just absorb them Azarath was still trying to grasp but it had seemed impressive so she had clapped for the obviously confused man.
It had hurt but not enough to put the Majin off for more than a moment as she made to approach the dog once more, the tall grass parting before a subtle 'whumpf' signalled displaced air and the light alien sound of flesh on wood. Someone else already? Had the pup's owner come to take it back or was this yet another stranger insisting on interrupting her feeding? Well not that it mattered much to Aza in the end as if worse came to pass she could always jump into a new part of the ocean to snatch up a quick snack.
To her side now stood the strangest human she had ever seen before,"Gii...?" she queried at the strange sorta human standing on a stump with some oddly numbered toes and hands and the single longest tail she had ever seen on a human before but there were all sorts back in the fishing villages and not to mention the worm she had met that was almost the size of a town all it's own so who was she to question it?
Aza poked out a finger to press at the new specimen while also trying her best to look at the incredible dog and failing at both tasks rather spectacularly but had hopefully gotten her point across to either one that she was interested in them, "Hiii-" squeezed from her mouth like steam from a kettle as an almost-word formed on her tongue but was forgotten after a few moments and simple staring resumed. She wasn't supposed to eat humans or their pets but then she had never seen one like this and was put out on what exactly should be done.

Little did the Majin know that someone had been watching her every move for a while now...
The tall Beppan clung to a treetop with his large fist, a pair of binoculars in his other hand. The tree creaked and moaned in pain at every little move the hulking Beppan made, only barely being able to hold all of that mass. He put the binoculars over his eyes with a curious hum, carefully following the Majin. Despite looking awfully innocent, Sheeza didn't trust it one bit. It could've all been a ruse! A facade to lure people into thinking she wasn't a spy for the Trade Fleet!
...Oh, but Sheeza knew better! Yes he did!
But suddenly, the Beppan jumped in surprise! The sound of loud yelps and barks assaulted his ears, causing Sheeza to lose balance! ''AahWhoahwhoahwhoa-!'' The Beppan flailed wildly, causing the treetop to shake violently. A little too violently...
-Snap!-
And so he came crashing downward, plummeting like a sack of bricks being thrown down a skyscraper. Sheeza let out long, loud yell as he fell, carelessly snapping each branch and twig that was in his path of destruction. It wasn't long before the 400 pound Beppan soldier finally landed on the forest floor, causing a dull thud to echo through the vicinity.
''Eeeurgh- bloody hell...'' Sheeza complained, simply laying there for a brief moment. His head spun, and his spine felt like it just got done being massaged with a meat tenderizer! ''Ow ow ow ow...'' Clutching the back of his head, Sheeza slowly sat upright, eyes slowly opening to scan his surroundings.
The Majin he was totally NOT spying on was there, along with an animal-looking thing. What did Earthlings call them? Degs? Droogs? Yeah, Droogs, that was it. Standing upright, Sheeza gazed a bit further, his eyes finally falling on the final person present.
''O-Oy!'' The Beppan's eyes widened with shock. A Changeling, here?! Sheeza glared violently, fists tensing up at his sides. ''Damn Arcosian- yer with the Trade Fleet, aren't ye?!'' The Beppan gritted his teeth defiantly, totally unaware of how wrong he was. Nevertheless, he was ready to fight! The Fleet wasn't going to get away from him!
''I'll tear ya to bloody shreds, mate!''

GAEA'S PL: 1,000
The nine-foot-tall canine continued to growl up at nothing in the trees, trying to sniff out the presence of the squirrel she had been chasing for the past hour and a half. Yet, stronger scents with power beyond her own came to invade instead, causing the dog to finally turn her leafy head, blank eyes staring at the group beside her... And they all likely saw her little stunt just now. '...Oh. Hello.' Gaea chirped awkwardly with her telepathy, forcing a meek, toothy smile with unwieldiness only a canine could manage.
Shaking her head to brush off her humiliation somewhat, Gaea's eyes first trailed to a small, pink creature peering out of the shrubbery that had been poking at the Changeling. Trotting over, Gaea would briefly swing her tail between the Arcosian and the Majin to prevent further, annoying poking. The massive canine lowered her head closer to Azarath to sniff her out- A strong one for sure, at least in comparison to Gaea's own measly power since her initial awakening only a few weeks ago. 'No need to hide. I don't bite--' Gaea began, only to perk up her head in a flash at the sound of a new, booming voice.
'World Tr--?' Gaea began to inquire, only to be interrupted by a proclamation of battle. Her head raised and eyes widened briefly, gaze turning to the forest around them... Well, this wasn't the forest she guarded over herself, but the self-proclaimed-guardian wasn't going to let this one be deforested that easily. Rearing back into a stance and growling, Gaea glanced to and fro between the mistaken Changeling and her would-be-enemy. 'If you two want to fight, I implore you do not do so here.' 'And seriously, what's a World Trade... uh... Treat?'

It was...telepathic and intelligent? Apparently this dog wasn't really a dog, although she probably should've guessed that from its power and appearance. Shiver's inspection of the dog came to an abrupt halt however as she remembered that she'd sensed TWO powers down here. Turning her head, the Arcosian was just in time to take a sudden poke in the chest from a...Majin? She'd yet to meet one before now, but this pink skinned being seemed to match the description. It certainly seemed to fit the "childish" bit she'd heard so much about. The being went in for another poke, and Shiver went to brush the hand away, only for the "dog" to suddenly impose its tail between them first. Geez how could she have mistaken this thing for a dog, it was HUGE, having to lower itself to sniff the Majin. At least it wasn't hostile, mostly curious judging by its words, like the Majin seemed to be. All in all an interesting encounter so far, but nothing what she'd been fearing. Or at least so she'd thought, as another Alien suddenly came falling out of the trees, instantly racking the situation up another level on the uniqueness scale. Just about to introduce herself, Shiver instead held her silence, taken aback. She regretted that decision almost immediately as the moment the newcomer saw her, he went became hostile. Her worst fears were realized as the alien both recognized her species AND named her as a World Trade member, again. Why did this always happen to her? Sure she was an Arcosian but she didn't have any World Trade stuff on her, she had yet to even say anything. As she'd come to expect, the hulking green man followed it up with a proclamation of violence upon her person and Shiver assumed a ready stance in anticipation. She was initially wary of the dog as well, fearing a potential gang up upon the "evil World Trader," but the dogs message crushed that possibility right away. It DID give her an opportunity though, and she seized it, yelling out frantically right after the dog finished. "NO NO, I DONT WANT TO FIGHT, NOT AT ALL. AND I"M NOT WORLD TRADE EITHER. I JUST CAME TO TALK." Darting backwards into the air, Shiver would take a defensive battle stance facing the newcomer, what she now recognized as a Beppan. That wasn't good, from what she remembered...they were big stubborn brutes. Hopefully the other two, especially the dog, would at least hear her words. Azarath Current Power Level First Form: 4500

The pup seemed to be a bit irritated that it was getting the attention it deserved which was often an issue if she remembered correctly. Biting, growling and bumping into their owners if they weren't pet a sufficient number of times in a day. Such needy little things but Aza was hardly one to mind too much so when the dog interdicted itself between her and the strange not-human. She pet the adorable thing instead until the sharp 'ca-rack!' of a branch breaking and the accompanying thud of something far too heavy to be using a branch as a nap hitting the forest also caught her attention. This one was obviously much more human-like with the proper amount of fingers and generally correct build which more or less meant not having a tail. The hair was a tad long but she had heard that the local women often enjoyed long hair due to it's beauty so maybe this was just a weird looking girl? Certainly a possibility in this world! Aza felt almost smug with how much she was learning this soon into leaving the coast! First she had met a dog, then a not-person, and now a green skinned woman who looked to weigh about the same amount as a bear. The woman had a strange accent that almost made the words unintelligible for one not too versed in listening to humans all day but it was obvious anger had taken hold of her. Not the deep resonating kind she heard when people got really angry but more like someone who was angry because they were supposed to be, "Ahh!" she hit her fist into her open palm at having realized that the green woman was obviously only pretending to be mad. A foreign concept to be sure but one that more or less made sense to Aza. Something else stuck out to the Majin about the women now, the obvious green tint to her skin which seemed very much unlike paint or sludge and like actual skin. How strange. She'd never seen someone so green before except for those who were a tad bit sick and even then it wasn't much. Aza stood to her full height and walked over to the woman with an inquisitive stare, coming up only to about her chest and ignoring the armor completely to poke at her skin and even lightly scratch it had the other not moved away or forced her to stop somehow. "Oo-" So humans could grow to be like this too? Did it change their taste? She wouldn't know naturally as she had never eaten a human before and had no plans on doing something like that in the future but it was an important question after all. Bigger sharks made for better meals so would it work the same for this hulking women? The not-human behind them seemed to be a bit panicked but fear was a silly thing to have. After all what was the point in being afraid when you could just regrow whatever you lost? Sheeza

The wary Beppan jumped in shock as he heard an echoey voice! ''W-Whot?'' Sheeza gasped in confusion, darting his head around as if he was looking for something. It was the kind of voice that didn't come from a single direction, instead assaulting his senses from every way possible! Almost as if it was...Invading his mind? Was he hallucinating?!
But then his eyes finally glanced toward the green...Animal-thing. The way it growled at them, and darted it's attention between them- was that her doing? Atleast, Sheeza assumed it was a her, judging by the voice n' all. ''...I didn't know Droogs can talk. Dang, Earth really is somethin' else.'' Sheeza scratched the back of his neck. But then, he remembered! Right, the Arcosian!
He glared upwards, his grizzled expression bearing one of conviction and hatred. But his glare quickly turned from hatred into...Suspicious confusion? Why the heck was she running away? Weren't Arcosians supposed to be ultra-powerful?
Then she declared she wasn't with the Fleet at all. ''Pfft- yea, right.'' The Beppan spat mockingly. As if he was going to fall for that old trick! In the back of his mind though, he felt hesitant. What if the Droog or the pink lady got hurt in the process? While a violent grunt, Sheeza wasn't willing to let innocents get hurt. Ever. He had a moral code to follow!
Sheeza's eyes lowered themselves into thin slits as he pointed two fingers at them, and then at the Arcosian. ''I got my eye on you, mate.''
Suddenly, the Beppan felt something distact him. Something...Pokey? ''What in th-...?'' Slowly, the hulking Beppan gazed downward, only to find that the pink Majin lady was casually poking his rock-hard abs. And...Scratching parts of his skin, as if he was some sortof farm animal!
The Beppan's cheeks grew red with embarassment. ''O-Oy! C-Cut it out, bubbles!'' Sheeza let out in a surprisingly unconfident tone, trying to step back from the Majin as he carefully pushed her back. ''No one ever taught ya not to go around touching strangers?'' He grumbled, averting his gaze with a pout.
Sighing, Sheeza gazed back toward the crowd. He'd be lying if he said the Droog didn't pique his curiosity. Sheeza wanted to know more about these strange Earthling animals. Could other Droogs talk? Why did this Droog look like it merged with a tree? Were all Droogs like that?
The Beppan carelessly walked over to the quadruped, and kneeled down infront of it. ''Ey, Droog-y friend, ya got a name?'' Sheeza asked suddenly. ''Where are yer other Droog friends? Can they talk too?''
''...And why do you look like a tree...?''
Last time he checked, droogs didn't look like trees.

GAEA'S PL: 1,000
Gaea raised her brow, the Arcosian denying affiliation with whatever this "Fleet" was. 'You heard her.' The canine chimed again, her defensive posture relaxing somewhat. Regardless, the Beppan backed off for now, though he still seemed suspicious. Gaea let out a brief huff with a shake of her mane, but the Majin found herself getting into trouble again, prodding and poking at the green alien.
The dog herself blinked with palpable confusion, head tilting to the side with a whine. 'One moment, please...' After bidding a brief goodbye to the Arcosian she was standing beside, Gaea would walk up behind Azarath. Regardless of if Sheeza's push was successful or not, the dog would attempt to pick the pink girl up by the scruff of her shirt, trotting away from the Saiyan Kingdom soldier with a gentle enough grip on the Majin. After getting some distance, the dog would set the pink creature down beside Shiver, sitting between the two humanoids herself to avoid further poking.
With that said and done, Gaea herself was addressed by the other green person. It took a moment to realize she was being spoken to, as per his mispronunciation of the word "Dog", but she caught on after a moment of glancing about. 'It's Gaea. I watch over a forest a ways away from here usually.' She explained with a brief nod. '...Dogs like myself aren't common. Thousands of years ago, I used to be like those you might see commonly over the Earth though- a lot smaller and incapable of using their Ki.'
'The tree thing's just... Uh, magic. I guess.' Gaea chimed with a shrug. When she was transmorgified into the towering beast she was now, the dog didn't have much of a choice over her newly empowered form's appearance. '...If introductions are in order, then who are all of you?'

For a moment she thought he was going to attack anyway, his body language definitely suggesting the urge to do so. But after a heart wrenching pause, and the "dog" stepping in, the hulking Beppan decided to back down. He didn't do so graciously of course, shooting over a gesture that perfectly conveyed his feelings on the manner. Whatever, Shiver was just glad they managed to avoid a fight, for now at least. Maybe now she'd be able to just talk to the more peaceful "dog" and Majin who was....poking the Beppan now. From this end, it was actually a little humorous, especially the part where the green man got flustered and awkward. Didn't seem so tough now huh? She held in her smirk however, barely, having no wish to rile things up again. Instead she simply lowered her guard and stepped closer towards the "dog." She was also a little curious about what the Beppan had asked. She made sure to keep a healthy distance from the green man as she did so, especially when the "dog" took a brief hiatus to fetch the Majin, another amusing sight. The answers were...interesting to say the least. The dog WAS a dog, just a really old one and advanced one that doubled as a forest guardian. Well that explained why it had tried to have them move their fight elsewhere earlier. It even had a name too, which reminded Shiver that it was time to introduce herself, and she started with a brief bow. "I'm Shiver, and yes, I AM an Arcosian. But" She shot a look at the Beppan, "I'm NOT with the World Trade in ANY capacity. Not all of us enjoy that kind of thing you know. In fact, I only recently arrived on Earth, mostly because I wanted to see this place for myself."

Too many people were speaking at the same time for the Majin to keep up with! First the green man was trying to push her away and talking about bubbles for whatever reason which was pretty rude but Aza assumed he must have a thing about touching. That was fine since a lot of humans were adverse to her touching them too but she would just have to power through! That was the train of thought until the doggo picked her up by the scruff like she was a pup and not a fully grown Majin! She would have mind but maybe the poor dog was a bit lonely. As a good girl and Majin she could hardly let the poor dog be lonely and didn't resist even when Gaea placed her on the ground and put herself between Aza and the strange not-human. A pink hand reaching out to pat the dog on the head gently while they all began to shout sounds and words at one another. It was all so confusing though with this 'magic' and 'world trade fleet' and 'droogs' to the point that Aza was quickly lost in the mix of words and her interest waned. Rather she was beginning to feel hungrier and hungrier the more they talked. "Gaah-" she opened her mouth and made to bite one of the many leaves adorning the dog. It must have been carrying these for quite a while and hopefully wouldn't mind too much if she tried a but or three of it all. At this point even something as icky as leaves would do for her hunger. She would just have to wait and see if they began to speak slowly or if one of them began fighting which was of course bad but sometimes it was fun to watch things hit each other like how she had watched the things in the deep ocean hunt one another.
