Sweat rolled down his forehead as he recovered from his training session. He'd just finished perfecting his Spirit Shot technique, now being able to pour all of his ki into it and unleash one massive beam of ki. The only downside was that it completely drained most of his ki and that the technique's name sounded kind of tacky. Speaking of tacky, he was pondering a new name for it as we speak. As he gulped down the bottle of water he brought with him due to the scarcity of water around these parts he came up with a new name. Finally a new and improved name came to mind. He sat his water to the side and slammed his fist into the palm of his hand. "Soul Comet!" he said out loud for some reason, looking off into the distance. "Sounds powerful enough, I'll stick with it." he quietly says, retaking the water bottle and chugging down the rest of the liquid. After finishing the liquid, he slowly breathes in and out once. "All my energy should be back now." he confidently says. He sat the empty bottle down behind him and stood. "Maybe I should head back to base now." he considers. He stops and thinks over doing so, rubbing his hands through his hair, but he ultimately decides against it when he feels the communications device on his shoulder. This gave him an idea, one that involved seeing if anyone wanted to come out and train. After all, this place made for the perfect training spot, seeing as it had no life in the surrounding area. It looked pretty cool too. With that in mind, he pulled the device from his safety strap and adjusted the range to 'nearby' while also staying in the same channel. "Yo, anyone out there that feels up to a bit of training?" he asked, applying pressure to the top button. He let go after he asked, but still held it in his hand so he could clearly hear if someone responded. Nashua

There was only so much preparing for battle you could do on your own, really. And Nashua was pretty sure she' done enough of it. She'd spent way too much Zeni on some new fancy looking armor only to realize it would probably just get ripped in half if she ever went Oozaru, so it wasn't gonna be of much use in a battle she'd really need to go all out in. Still, it was cozy and flashy for training purposes and any smaller scale skirmishes she got herself into. Speaking of which, that defunct scouter she'd pilfered from some back alley salesman started transmitting something of general relevance to her. A training request, huh? Well, she wasn't going to pass up an opportunity like this. "I'll take you up on that!" she eagerly chirped into the microphone of the scouter, before pinging out the sender's location.
Gizard Wasteland? That was kind of far. "I'll uh, be a bit, though, just hang on till I get there!" she added, quickly rushing outside the Saiyan secret base and jumping into her space ship. Off she went, keeping the scouter's tracker on the whole time to ensure she was going the right way, and all in all the journey actually only took around half an hour. These ships were really fast when you actually started to figure out how to properly fly them. Once the Saiyan touched her ship down where the scouter said she should, she hopped out and saw a slightly familiar face. "Oh, hey!" she said, "I know you, you were at the uh, jungle thing, and then when I, uh, destroyed a city." She'd hoped to forget about that last part. But a training partner was a training partner.
"A-Anyway," she continued, somewhat nervously glancing around the wasteland that surrounded them. "Did you uh, have any particular kinda training in mind or something? I've kind of just been doing whatever lately, so I might as well keep up that trend." She awkwardly chuckled and shyly played with her abnormally long ponytail as she spoke. She reached for her spear to show him what she had available, but quickly realized something was a miss. And that thing that was a miss was that her spear was missing. "Oh crap, I forgot my spear!" she groaned. "Er, I'll not keep you waiting any longer, though, let's just get to it with our fists."

His patience was rewarded when a woman's voice came to life on the device, taking his offer. This voice was oddly familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it. 'Who....?' he ponders, trying to remember while rubbing his chin with his free hand. Not too long after, he snapped out of his thought process. "Oh, right, I still need to give her my location." he says, preparing to bring his finger down over the button. Just as he does, though, the woman unknowingly suggested that she was on her way. "Huh? I haven-" he started, before cutting himself off when he came to the realization of just how the woman knew where he was. "Oh, scouter. Right." He presses the red button at the top of the device. "Alright, see ya soon." he says, speaking into the device. Having quickly forgotten about him trying to recall who the woman was he simply sat back down on his rock. "And now.... we wait." he quietly says, waiting eagerly but patiently for his sparring partner to arrive. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Minutes passed by and still no sign of her, had she changed her mind or was she still on her way? He'd set his comms device to only transmit to people near the region he was in, so he expected it to not take that long. 'She's probably still on her way her... would've told me if she changed her mind... I guess.' he thought. He waited a few more minutes until he decided to get up and do something in the meantime. He eventually came up with something he could do that may entertain him; throwing rocks. Picking up a rock off the ground he sat his sights on one of the many rock structures that jutted up from the ground. Rock still in hand, he reached his hand back, and with one swift motion, he launched the rock forward. Fyoom~ The rock was off! It took little to no time for it to meet its target, knocking a hole clean through it. If he was up close he could possibly see right through. That barely entertained him, but at least it was something. He repeated the process multiple times until a ship became visible, a familiar one at that. He remembered seeing it parked outside the base before he left. His gaze followed its path, and one changed once it landed and a figure emerged. The woman approached and his memory rapidly started coming back to him, but it seemed the woman had him beat. "Oh yeah, I remember you! Good times." he said. "I don't think I caught your name, though. I probably did and I just don't remember." Moving on, the saiyaness went on to ask him what kind of training would they be doing today. "Just some good ol' sparring. Seems like the best way to get stronger, right?" he states. He noticed that the saiyan was reaching for something, although nothing appeared to be behind her. Apparently she'd forgotten her spear, which he learned from her stating it out loud. He remembered she had a spear in the jungle when they fought those World Trade Fleet goons. Thankfully, she didn't consume any more of his patience, deciding to just use her fist. "That's the spirit!" he says. "Allow me to go first!" With a grunt, he began powering up. The ground shook and pebbles around him levitated from the ground. And with one step forward, he sprung for the woman. Now in striking distance, he kicked his leg to the side. "Huaaa!" he yelled as he swung it around, aiming for the woman's upper arm. Nashua

"I'm Nashua," the golden eyed Saiyan replied shortly after her soon to be sparring partner mentioned he didn't know what her name was, the girl bowing her head politely. She couldn't blame him for not remembering; the past two times they'd met up were pretty hectic affairs. It was a bit odd how he recalled them as "good times", especially considering one of those times was the pair of them wreaking uncontrolled havoc on West City as several heroes desperately tried to quell their rage. The skirmish in the forest of bamboo might've been considered more enjoyable, though. Especially if you were as accustomed to violence as most Saiyans were. Nashua herself mostly preferred the path of peace, though that was becoming a more difficult road to take with each passing day. And when the inevitable violence occurred, Nashua wanted to be strong enough to take action if it was necessary.
And so, here she was, training up for battle with... Shoot, she didn't have his name either. "Er, I'm sorry, I don't seem to remember your name either," she said as they began to get into their battle stances. The young woman felt a bit like she was naked, getting into a fight without her spear, but it wasn't as if she didn't have a couple of tricks up her sleeve. Or even a few tricks down her back.
As quickly as he'd declared he was going to be making the first move, Nashua's sparring partner began to charge his power. She wasn't sure just how strong he was, given that her scouter was broken and she couldn't seem to understand how to develop the innate power detection she'd seen that other Saiyan use. She could only assume and hope that he was somewhere around her own power level, so she would at least stand a fighting chance. Before long, after some dramatic effect with floating pebbles and shaky ground, her opponent rushed forward at speeds only one who'd mastered the use of ki could achieve. He was definitely a bit faster than Nashua was.
"Geh!" she exclaimed, putting up her arms to shield herself, only to find that he'd been going straight for her arm anyways. A powerful leg slammed right into the side of Nashua's right arm, and she let out a yelp as she was sent flying several feet, stumbling a bit before regaining her balance. Boy, that hurt. But that was only the first attack, so there was no way she was calling it quits. "Not bad for a starting move!" she called out, trying to sound confident. "But watch this!" The Saiyan charged ahead, doing her best to mimic the earlier technique he'd used against her, only this time, as her raised foot neared his head, she feinted out at the last second, instead dropping down and jabbing her fist towards his stomach. If he was faster and stronger than her, she was going to have to be clever to win.

Nashua, a nice name indeed. Quite unique as well.
Just after announcing her name, she didn't seem to remember his name either, if he even told her, as expected.
"My name's Cress, nice to meet ya." he said as he readied his battle stance. From there, everything went according to plan. The process that led up to his attack had been successful. Nashua must've thought his boot was headed somewhere else besides her arm, but she was mistaken. The air parted to make way for his leg as it made its way to her arm and slammed into it, causing a thud when his attack connected with it. He definitely had some force behind the attack, that fact backed up by the fact it sent the woman flying, but not far.
'She's stronger than I thought, it appears.' he thought.
He lowered his leg back to his side and turned to face Nashua.
After a bit of stumbling Nashua regained her composure as well, also issuing him a compliment. "Thanks." he said, snickering after as he gladly received the compliment. It seemed like she had something of her own up her sleeve judging by the way she made her next statement. The female launched herself towards him, closing the gap between the two quickly, but not as fast as he had done it.
Her foot came swinging towards his noggin.
His reflexes were put to the test as his arm quickly shot up to guard his head against the attack. It appeared as if Nashua was going a bit slow to him, but he had the speed advantage. In reality, they were moving at incredible speeds. He prepared for the foot to collide, planning a counter attack. 'This should give me a proper estimate of her strength.' he thougt to himself.
Suddenly, her foot vanished. This temporarily caught him off guard, but his gaze fixed itself on Nashua's current position. There wasn't enough time for him to stop the incoming attack, but he could prepare for it. He grunted just as the punch made impact. In some attempt to hold his current position his feet dug into the rock beneath his feet, causing him to slide back from the force of the punch but slower than if he hadn't.
A grin revealed itself as the opposing force of the ground brought him to a halt.
"Your not so bad yourself, keep it up!" he complimented Nashua.
Concentrating his ki into the palm of his hand, he motioned his hand back. Bio-electricity crackled around it, causing the air around him to shake. "Let's see how you do against this! HAAAAA!" he roared as he thrust his palm forward, firing off his yellow and white Soul Comet technique at Nashua.

Okay, Cress was his name. That did sound vaguely familiar. She didn't know what it meant, but it was something to call him, which was easier than trying to think of a different nickname for every time he was referred to. Either way, he was pretty damn fast and strong, but as Nashua closed in on him with her foot raised to strike his head, a smile spread across her face as she saw him fail to respond properly in time to her fake out. As the woman dropped down to deliver the blow, she heard his startled grunt right before the impact, so he'd at least registered his mistake in time, even if he couldn't move fast enough to prevent her from capitalizing on it. And wham! Nashua's fist slammed into his tensed torso, sending Cress skeetering back several meters, his feet grinding across the ground while he slid.
"Thanks!" she replied as he admitted she had some skill of her own. That was always nice to hear. "I'll do my best." What wasn't as nice as Cress' compliment, however, was what followed. Her opponent thrust his hands backwards, and began to charge up ki. Static electricity shot out from the poised hands, and before long, he thrust them forward, letting out a loud battle cry as a burst of powerful ki energy blasted out at Nashua. The ferocious yellow and white beam soared at Nashua, which sent her into a panic. That looked really painful to get hit by. As fast as she could, Nashua reached back and grabbed her unusually long ponytail. There was a reason she'd specifically grown it out this long, and though she'd never needed to use it before, now was as good a time as any to make sure it worked.
She began to grip the hair like a lasso and spun it around rapidly in front of her, concentrating hard as she could to focus her ki into it. Her trusty defense spin pulled through once again, the ki blast from Cress making contact and mostly dissipating against the hair barrier, though a bit bled through and stun as it made contact with Nashua, but it was far better than being hit by the whole thing. She regained her balance after stumbling a bit, taunting, "You'll have to do better than to get the best of me!" She thought about firing her own powerful beam back at him, but she didn't want to blow through all of her ki energy straight away. Instead, she rushed at him again, this time using her ki-infused ponytail like a whip sort of weapon and whacking it right at him. This fight was just getting started.

Nashua responded to his compliment exactly as he thought she would. She seemed pretty chill after all. Fast forward and his Soul Comet technique rushes forward, quickly closing the gap between the two to meet its target. A flash of light enveloped the area and a powerful gust of wind swirled around the immediate area of the blast. This was only his lowest tier attack though, so the effects were not to major, but decently strong for an attack that powerful. If he was on the receiving end of that blast a few months ago he would've been screwed. His progress was nothing to laugh at compared to the growth of ordinary people, and because of that he felt somewhat special. Then, his technique collided with something. He could tell, he was still connected to the blast somewhat after all. "Huh?" he said, confused. His attack began to die down as he only intended to put a small amount of his energy into it. As the beam shrunk the reason to why his attack seemingly had been cut short was revealed. 'A barrier? Neat.' he thought as he observed his beam dying out completely, but a small part of it was able to get through. 'At least it didn't completely fail.'Nashua stumbled a bit but fixed herself quickly, just as she had done before. Her voice rang out once again, taunting him. "Trust me, I'm capable of a lot more than that." he said with a grin. He jumped high into the air, bringing himself to a halt once he was a dozen or so stories off of the ground. Looking down at Nashua, he snickered while ki began to build up in both of his arms. He held both of his hands back, electricity crackling around them. Thrusting hi hand forward, this was the final sequence of his attack. He roared out as over a dozen beams of ki rushed towards the ground at a curved angle, aiming to cause widespread destruction. And if that wasn't enough, he reared his right arm back again, preparing his Soul Comet technique.. This attack would be the same technique, but even MORE powerful. The process was identical to the earlier Soul Comet technique, except it took longer to charge it and the effects on the air around him were more violent. It seemed as if the air itself had begun shaking. 'Even if this leaves me out of energy... I'm sure she won't be able to do much.' he thought. With one thrust forward, the blast was off, bigger and more powerful than before. "HAAAAAAAA!" he roared as the massive ki attack rushed off into the destruction, releasing a blinding flash of light.

Just as Nashua was about to whip Cress right in his Saiyan face, he leapt straight into the air at rapid speeds, causing her ponytail to whip to whiff and miss completely. She quickly regained her balance and looked up into the sky, spotting him hovering a few dozen meters or so above her. "What you wanna have a sky battle now?" she called out to him. He was definitely up to something. Suddenly, ki blasts shot out of his hands in a barrage formation, and Nashua was forced to quickly weave around as they crashed into the ground around her. Dust and dirt were kicked up relentlessly, which made it difficult to see with every impact, although conversely, that also meant it would be harder for Cress to see where she was and aim at her, so Nashua decided to stay within the clouds.
She was only hit a few times in non vital areas before he stopped, the girl easily able to shrug off the pitifully weak blasts. Finally able to stop and catch her breath, Nashua looked back up into the sky to see what Cress was up to now. No way that those weak blasts were the only part of his plan. Sure enough, Nashua began to feel vibrations throughout the area, as if the air itself was quivering in anticipation. Was he going to fire another one of those bigger beams at her? Nashua readied herself to defend against it again, but when she looked up, the beam that was coming towards her was certainly not the same one he'd tried earlier. No, this one was way bigger. And more powerful. And did she mention that it was also way faster than before?
The Saiyan didn't even have time to prepare her barrier, both resulting from her awe of the sight and the fact that it was tremendously fast, and as the full force of the beam slammed into Nashua, all she could do was shield her eyes and face with her arms. "Gyaaah!" she screamed in pain as it seared right over her. It was painful and incredibly hot, but when the light finally faded, she was still standing in one piece, though with plenty of burns marks all over her forearms and face. And legs. All over, actually, and Nashua stumbled over and collapsed onto one knee, though her other foot was still firmly planted into the ground. "That was... Pretty strong!" she exclaimed through grit teeth. There was no way she could match that level of power. But Cress was left defenseless now.
Nashua quickly grabbed her ponytail, charging up ki quickly and sending a focused beam straight at her opponent. "But I'm not down for the count just yet!" she exclaimed, standing back up onto her feet despite the great pain in her limbs.

Finding Nashua's question amusing, a smirk made it's way onto his lips. She didn't know what she was in for. She would gain a response from him, but not in the speaking variety. Instead, he'd let his actions to the talking. Keeping that in mind, he unleashed a barrage of ki blasts at his sparring partner. His expectations had not been very high for them, though, since they had no real power behind them. The only thing these blasts were effective for was kicking up some dust and buying him some time, which it did like a charm. He'd prepared his second most powerful attack and launched it at Nashua. Even before it hit her it caused quite a bit of destruction in one way or another. His attack was right on target, and she hadn't made any attempts (from what he could tell) to dodge or block the attack, with the only exception being doing what little she could with her arms. His devastating technique wasted no time in colliding with her and the ground behind her. The earth around them shook, toppling the rock formations that jutted up from the land, spewing dust everywhere. It'd done it's job against Nashua it seemed, even through all the crashing noises occurring he could hear her scream. 'I wonder if she's alright... maybe I overdid it.' he wondered. The results of the blast would be the deciding factor on if he would use the strongest technique in his arsenal or not. He automatically came to the assumption that Nashua wouldn't be able to handle something like that, and he'd cause more damage to her than he would like to. The light that lit up the area had left, revealing his opponent, Nashua. He could barely see her injuries from here, but he knew a burn mark when he saw it. It was set in stone now, he wouldn't be using that attack or anything stronger again. She collapsed onto her knee, but she still had a little spirit in her, he was sure of it. She was a tough one. Shooting a compliment towards him, he'd respond, but in a different way than the last time. "Thanks. I won't be using that attack again after seeing the shape your in." he said. His question was quickly answered when she shot a beam at him from her ponytail. 'Creative.' he thought. Then, something hit him. The realization that he was out of energy. Eh, he wouldn't be using any now anyway. He'd already told her he wouldn't be dodging any of her attacks, and he didn't have any barrier techniques in his arsenal anyway. She coupled the incoming beam with a statement, hitting him while she was barely into her sentence. He grunted as he tried to hunker down against the attack, but it easily broke his weak defense, leaving him with some minor but irritating burn marks. Pushed further into the air, but not far, smoke sizzled off of his arms from the burn marks. This was the first time she'd done any decent damage to him. He snickered while preparing his next action, taking on his fighting stance. "Keep it up, your doing well!" he informed his now standing sparring partner. Then, he moved forward to close the distance between him and Nashua at breakneck speeds. To any ordinary person it'd appear as if he'd disappeared. Appearing in front of his opponent, he finally saw the full extent of her injuries. 'Holy shit.' he exclaimed to himself internally, flinching in the process. He was about to cancel his attack, but remember what she'd said earlier. With that in mind, he thrust his leg forward into the center of her mass.

Nashua's body still hurt like hell, but it sure did feel good to see her ki laser beam make direct contact with Cress. Just as she'd thought, he had exhausted himself too much to be able to put up any sort of defense, even if it wasn't the most powerful attack, it was better than nothing. His comment about not using the attack again after seeing how badly she'd been hit hurt her pride sightly, though she couldn't deny she was also pretty relieved to know that she wouldn't have to grit her teeth through another one of those things. Her body probably couldn't take much more, especially not one or two more of his mega powerful beams. "I, uh, appreciate it!" Nashua said with a sheepish smile and a tired voice in response. She couldn't deny she was starting to get worn out, but she could keep going for a while.
His compliment of her capabilities gave her a small boost of energy, and she responded, "Thanks, you're not too bad at fighting yourself!" Before bracing herself as Cress propelled his body towards her with tremendous speed. Once he was within striking distance, Nashua took a defensive stance, expecting a good punch to block, although her opponent instead stopped in his tracks for a moment, a pained expression on his face. Had she accidentally struck some kind of vital point earlier and it was starting to flare up in pain? Actually, he seemed to be grimacing in response to something he saw, not felt. And then Nashua realized he must have flinched once he got up close and saw how severe the wounds he'd inflicted on her were, which, for some reason, made her feel kind of proud. She'd never been a battle hardened Saiyan in any sense of the word, so having one of her own people flinch at the sight of her wounds felt sort of validating in a way.
She was finally becoming a battle worthy fighter.
And then, he finally did attack, but Nashua was more than ready for it, her palms shooting right for the part of her torso his leg had been outstretched towards, and catching the foot right where it was with a tight grip. "Something on my face?" she teased with a friendly but mischievous smile, before leaning back and attempting to spin herself around with Cress' foot still in hand before letting go and hopefully sending him flying off. She thought about following up with another powerful ki blast, but decided instead to give herself a brief moment to recharge, and caught her breath for a couple of seconds, the pain of her wounds still distracting her from focusing completely.

His foot shot forward as if it were a bullet. It looked as if he were going to get a guaranteed hit on the woman, only for this assumption to be put down by the catching of his foot. 'Dammit!' he thought, attempting to pull loose when Nashua tightened her grip around his boot. Damn, he'd been too slow in commencing his attack. The slight delay caused by his flinch at the injuries of his ally costed him his attack's success.
She teased him with her comment, a mischievous smile following. He wondered, just what the hell was she up to?
A couple of seconds passed while he attempted to free his foot before the idea of blasting her to free himself came to mind. He began gathering ki in the palms of his hand when he decided that this was the best course of action. Electricity now sparking in his hand, Nashua began to spin, taking him with her. "Wwwwwwooooaaaahhhhh-" he reacted as she spun him around. Whooshing sounds were audible as she advanced the rotation speed up until she let him go.
She sent him flying back. Still dizzy, he almost didn't see the rock formation he was headed for.
Fortunately for him, the effect wore of quickly and he was able to catch himself. Righting himself, he ascended and hovered over to the top of the formation he was previously headed for. Sitting himself down on top of it, his gaze rested on the woman. "No distractions this time." he swore to himself quietly. If he'd have been facing up against an Arcosian that would've gotten him blasted.
Then, he remembered. He still had that ki from earlier when he was about to free himself built up in his hands. Might as well put it to use, right? With that in mind, he leaped forward, sights still set on Nashua. Once he'd made it to the halfway mark, he thrust his hand forward, shooting of one yellow and white ki blast. Quickly after that one had been sent off, he fired off another.
With these two attacks probably distracting the saiyan, temporarily at least, he shot from sight in a sudden burst of speeds. He went up, then back to the ground behind Nashua before the second blast reached her. Springing forward, he unleashed a flurry of punches aimed at Nashua's backside. Hopefully, this would surprise her and result in her getting hit by the blast.

Nashua's toss had sent Cress tumbling through the air just in time, as it looked like if she'd held onto him any longer he was going to blast her face with even more ki, which was one of the last things Nashua wanted to happen. The Saiyan flipped quite a few times, enough that Nashua would have given his performance at least an 8.5 out of 10 if this had been a sporting event. She grimaced as she saw him headed straight for a pretty hard looking rock formation, as it hadn't really been what she was aiming for, but was relieved when he managed to catch himself before any dangerous impact could be made, with him instead landing right on his feet atop the stones, although he sat down right after he landed, presumably to catch his breath like Nashua had just done.
Her wounds were starting to sting a bit less, meaning she could focus more effectively on the fight, so she was at least happy about that. What she wasn't as happy about was how quickly Cress jumped straight back into the action, leaping right at her before firing one ki blast, and then another, which Nashua felt pretty ready for. She wasn't quite as ready when Cress suddenly zipped out of view. Where'd he go? Nashua stayed on edge for any sign of his reappearance, when she felt a rush of wind from behind her. "Crap!" she exclaimed, turning around to try and block whatever he was going to try and do. But wait, there were still the ki blasts to worry about! Of the two, Nashua decided to hold her arms up and block the punches the Cress threw at her, wincing in pain as the two ki blasts he'd launched both impacted square on her back.
What made it worse was that there were already some decently nasty burn marks scorched back there, so all those blasts managed to do were reopen her wounds and bring back the searing pain. And the punches right against her arms weren't doing much to help, either. Suddenly, Nashua started feeling pretty darn dizzy. And she started seeing two Cresses punching her instead of one. She also had four arms. "Wha...?" she mumbled as her arms dropped to her sides and a few punches slammed right into her, sending her sprawling out onto the ground on her back with dazed eyes and a killer headache. "Time... Out..." she groaned, lazily tapping herself out on the ground.

Nashua turned to face him deciding to defend against his punches instead of the blast. If it were him in this case, he would've simply jumped up and out of the way of the attacks. If he couldn't do that, he would've just blocked the blasts. He'd take a few bruises on his back instead of burns any day. His powerful blows clashed with her defense. The blasts wasted no time in meeting its target, the smaller one exploding first while the second followed suit. His punches did its fair share of keeping her from being sent flying by the twin blasts. They were both pushed forward a bit despite these efforts, though, as evidenced by the dirt that piled up on the back of his boot.
She mumbled an incomplete 'what' before dropping her guard. He wondered, were his punches growing to strong for her? He made an attempt to stop the last two punches, only for them to slam right into her chest. He watched the results of his actions play out when Nashua fell to the ground. It started to look like his earlier attack coupled with the ones now had put the saiyan down temporarily. She requested a time out. He'd respect her request, after all, they were training partners. This was no real battle.
"What's up, are you alright???" he asked, a concerned tone coming to life.
+1 KP for no technique use. Now at 3/3 KP. OOC: Short post but didn't have many options since we weren't fighting anymore.

| ANYONE THERE? |
Maybe it was a little bit embarrassing that one of her first real serious training bouts in a while had ended with Nashua collapsing on the ground and tapping herself out, but she felt like she'd done a decent enough job of putting up a fight for herself considering she'd really only had a few of these kinds of fights before. And they usually didn't end up falling into her favor, so this was about par for the course, actually. "Oh, I'm alright," she lazily replied as Cress worriedly questioned her well being. After a few more seconds of laying on the rocky, rough terrain below her, she decided that was enough of a breather, and slowly sat herself up, stretching out her tired and sore arms over her equally as battered legs.
"I think I'm pretty spent, though!" she added with a chuckle, glancing up at Cress. He didn't look nearly as beat as she was, although that made sense, she figured. He was definitely a fair bit more powerful than she was at the moment, but hopefully she could catch up to him some time soon. Maybe she'd even surpass him eventually. "You're a lot better at fighting than me, I gotta say," Nashua said in a chuckled tone as she carefully stood herself up, her legs still a bit wobbly after all that exercise. "But if I had my spear with me, I totally would've won!" she jokingly added with another laugh. She had a strange feeling of both satisfaction with her performance, annoyance at herself at not winning, and also a pretty good amount of pain and soreness. Was there a word for when all three of those came together after a fight? If there was, she didn't know it.
"Anyway, sorry for not putting up too huge of a fight," she said, correcting her posture finally and looking up to meet Cress' eyes. "Though I hope I was good enough to at least work your muscles a fair amount. We should definitely do this again sometime, maybe when I'm a little closer to your skill level?" she asked, glancing back over to her space ship, which had luckily gone unharmed in their chaotic clash. "Oh, I can give you a ride back to a city or something in my ship, by the way. If you're feeling too tired to fly after that bout," she offered. It was the least she could do as thanks for him letting her build on her skills.

He was relieved to hear that Nashua was all right. It looked like whatever came upon her a few seconds ago was passing over. Still, it took her a few seconds to sit herself up. He smirked, she was a mighty fine warrior. If she kept it up a bit longer she most likely would've gotten a few more hits on him. It was important to know your limits, though. Glancing up, she stated that she was a bit worn out from the battle. He couldn't really say the same, considering he didn't take nearly as much damage as she did. She did manage to give him two minor burn marks on each of his arms.
Now making eye contact, he spoke. "I could use a break as well." he said with a grin, wiping the sweat away from his head. This battle may not have pushed him to his limits, but he was more tired than he'd be if he'd not done anything prior to the sparring session. Nashua went on to recognize his fighting skills, which was something any saiyan would be pleased to hear. This recognition added on to his pride and confidence, where were already quite high.
She jokingly followed up with the proposal of a scenario, one that he would actually like to see. Laughing along with her, he voiced his desire to see that scenario play out, "That I'd like to see. Make sure you bring it next time."
Unexpectedly, she apologized. It was one he could understand, though. After all, fighting was in a Saiyan's blood. What she went on to say was true, he did get to work out his muscles a bit. He hadn't had a decent fight in a while. His image training didn't count since it wasn't real, but it did help him a bit. Nothing could develop you more than a real fight.
The cool northern wind started to take effect, lowering his body temperature back to its regular levels.
Nashua suggested that they have another sparring match when she'd developed a bit more, an offer which he'd gladly take. "Sure, it'd make it a whole lot more challenging and exciting." he replied.
Not too long after having her eyes on her ship, she offered him a ride. He didn't really need it, seeing as he wasn't too tired to not be able to fly efficiently. He would tag along to make sure what happened during their fight didn't happen again, though. "Sure. You could just drop me off anywhere you're going since I don't have a particular place in mind. After all, if what happened earlier happens again, I'll be there to help ya out." he stated, crossing his arms over his chest.
