Sulfur's PL: 1,000 Turo's PL: 5,000 (Anti-Sensing)
It's been a good four or so years since she's done this. But with her little robot companion, Turo... this could be possible. Ever since she's landed on this planet, the ship she's used hasn't been turning on or anything. Due to this, she believed that she couldn't fix it and just locked it away in the shed behind her home. But now that she was part of Crop Co. and earned herself a helping hand, she can possibly fix this old ship of her's! Currently she and Turo were outside in the backyard of her home, standing besides with what seemed to be a spaceship. "Isn't it beautiful, Turo? This is what an avali ship looks like!" She spoke, looking down at the robot velociraptor besides her. He looked completely uninterested, like he always did whenever Sulfur spoke. This will just aggravate the avali a little bit, but she decided to not mention the robot's rudeness. "Anyways... uh, I need you to go and bite the engine for me." The two would then stand there in a moment of silence. Turo slowly looked up at his master and beeped a couple of times, which causes the bird to let out a sigh. "Pretty please? Like, just... All it needs is some juice! Not any normal battery is gonna work, and I already asked the electric company if I could use one of their power cables, but they obviously said no. So can you just... use your electricity to power the ship up?" Sulfur asked, frowning a bit.
Turo would stand there for a moment, pondering on whether or not he should do this. Maybe Sulfur will let him have a day off after this? Or maybe she'll let him watch the TV for once? Hmm, either way, he would just nod, following it up with a couple boops before making his way over to the ship. The avali would bet delighted as he walked away from her, feeling as if he's finally following her orders for once! The 'hood' area of the ship was already left open, so Turo would just hop into the engine and bite down into something important-looking... yeah, Sulfur kinda forgot to tell him where to bite. "Okay, now use Taser Chomp! That'll be enough energy to-" A bright flash of light would come from the engine as Turo began releasing electricity into the ship's engine. It took a couple of seconds of this before finally, with one loud roar from the ship, it was fixed! The little bird girl would jump up and down in glee as she heard the ship roar itself to life! "Yes, yes! You did it, Turo!" She exclaimed, being extremely happy that she might be able to ride across the stars. Meanwhile Turo would just hop away from the engine and yawn, only to be suddenly hugged by his fluffy master! He just lets it happened, standing there and not moving at all as he was hugged. Yeah, he wasn't really all that excited if you can't tell.

Sunny, with a gentle breeze and a clear forecast. It was a rarity of weather for the northern climate, but not one that wasn't welcomed. With the snow, followed by rain, that consisted the region's weather for the last few days, Saizomaru was ecstatic to be able to spend some time travelling without having to worry about clearing his robotic body. It was a good thing he was composed of durable metals, otherwise he would probably have had major rusting by now.
It didn't take him too long before he found himself upon a small settlement. Much of the area was open field with few residence. But he did spot one that caught his eye. Making his way down the dirt path he found himself coming closer and closer upon some sort of spacecraft. The design was alien, but he definitely recognized some forms of earthen engineering, or at least a close approximation—fuel injectors, exhaust ports, propulsion jets, and the like.
As he turned the corner to peer over the fence to get a better look, his eyes were drawn to something else. Something much more interesting. Something more fluffy. Standing near the front of this spacecraft was a small, alien-looking creature that held a robot dinosaur in its arms. He scanned the creature for a brief moment, trying to pick up and cross-reference its physiological details with the military's databases. Nothing was drawn from it though—an as-of-now unclassified creature.
But it was fluffy. Saizomaru could feel his body start to vibrate, trying to hold back the urge. But it wasn't enough.
"IT'S A FLUFF!"
He vaulted over the fence and sprinted towards the alien, coming to a sliding stop before wrapping his arms around its waist and hoisting her up to his chest, giving it a huge hug while it was still holding onto its dinosaur companion. "Ahhh it's so fluffy and small and adorbs! I wonder what you eat. Carrots? Grass? Or maybe… Neapolitan ice cream?"
Sulfur I now has a fluff.

Everything was so happy! The ship was fixed, and Sulfur was hugging her favorite robot companion! She can now fly across the stars with Turo, and possibly someone else! Oooo, maybe her future husband might be in that seat with her? Maybe that person would be... Carro! The avali squealed out loudly and rubbed her cheek against the robot's head, giggling loudly. Turo allowed this to happen, though he did look kinda displeased about this. Though don't let that displeased look fool you, for he was pretty happy as well; knowing that he did something for his master and making her happy was possibly the best thing imaginable! Now he might be able to watch his favorite TV show, Mech Wars! Oh, the excitement that was slowly welling up inside of him was intense! This excitement would go away however, for her four ears twitched once she heard someone call out something. It was something about... a fluff? She looked up to see what it was, but before she could even catch a glance of the culprit, she and her robot would be lifted up off the ground. The avali made loud chirping noises and began kicking her hind legs, her sharp talons kicking at the air. The robot meanwhile was just staring off, not really reacting to the situtation and still thinking about his prize for today. "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
She slowly calmed down however, and decided to just let this happen. This happens sometimes, so it's best not to become irrational and... bite him or something. "I normally eat meat, sir. Now can you please put me down? I'm not a pet! I'm a person! O-Or an Earthling... well, sorta... earthling? EITHER WAY I TALK AND THINK AND LIVE HERE SO PUT ME DOWN ALREADY!!" She flailed, a couple of feathers falling from her as she struggled in the android's grip... and again, Turo was just staring off and doing nothing about this. What a useful plexbit he was...

The android couldn't help himself. He was such an animal lover that he didn't want to let her go. Instead he just held her a little tighter so that the back of her head was pushing against his face while he lightly rubbed his cheek into the fluff. It was almost like a cat's coat, soft and bushy to the touch. It was the only part of him that could feel much of anything nowadays.
But he paused for a moment as the Avali began to protest, feeling her body squirm and wiggle and flail and kick within his grasp. "Ahhhh it can talk too!" he squealed before giving her a little jostle as though it were a pet. He continued to listen to it and, finding himself a little embarrassed, sat the alien back onto her feet. He reached down with a metal hand, putting it on top of her head and letting his fingers idly rub between her top-most ears. She didn't say anything about not giving her scritches.
"Well, you're definitely no earthling," he responded with a light smirk, if not for her cuteness then definitely for her naivety. "I mean, I've seen plenty of earthling and none are anything like you… being all cute and fluffy and stuff."
After a short while he let the alien be, and instead began to peruse her little spacecraft. "Huh… You've got a pretty neat looking ship right here," he praised. He slowly walked around the shuttle, his eyes scanning up and down the entirety of its hull, looking at all of the more larger and more minute details. "I mean… it's definitely alien… but there's bits and pieces that I recognize from that company—Crap Incorporate? Something like that." He smirked from over the top of the cockpit towards the Avali on the other side. He gave a few gentle raps of his metal knuckles against the plating of the ship's nose. "Y'know, you woulda been better off getting all of your stuff from Capsule Corp."
The android had a noticeable appreciation for the latter company.

Sulfur's PL: 1,000 Turo's PL: 5,000
How can someone invade her personal space like this? It takes a really brave person to just go and hug onto someone, especially if that someone has razor sharp teeth and a pair of sharp talons. This avali might seem all cute and cuddly, but if she wanted to, she could immediately just bite a chunk off of someone. But being the civilized woman she was, she just allowed this to happen for a little while longer, ceasing her kicks and such. This was so embarrassing... Whenever she was set back down, she would reply angrily, "Of course I can talk! I'm not some wild life animal or anything! A-And those chirping noises are not animal noises, they're sounds of fear..." Sulfur said, sorta puffing out her cheeks a little bit. She slowly places the robot down on the ground bellow her, and it would continue to just stare off. It's highly possible that he was watching Mech Wars right now as well, considering his eyes were 'shut off', as if he was in sleep mode. The bird girl's cheeks would grow a shade of blue as her head was beginning to be scratched, her ears pinning back slightly from the little scritches. She had to admit, this... kinda felt good?
"Y-Yeah, I'm not from around here... a-and stop calling me cute... b-because I'm not." Sulfur grumbled, her eyes slightly closing as she leaned her head forwards. She would fall over however whenever the android went and walked over to her ship, a small grumble escaping her as she went and stood herself back up. "It's an avali ship, yeah... and I kinda used some parts from Crop Co. to refurbish it a little bit too. It's kinda crude but it works, all thanks to my little robot friend." She said, smiling down at her zoned out android. The avali would quietly chuckle after hearing the android mention Capsule Corp., just shrugging and shaking her head, "As much as I would like to join that organization, it doesn't compare to Crop Corp. Like, they gave me Turo after all... and they give me free tools, spare parts, and even help pay for my home at times! It's a pretty neat working for this company, plus I... I have a little thing for the owner of the company, Carro Hofferson! He's such a nice saiyan and he's soooo smart too!" The avali giggled, sounding like a little schoolgirl for a moment.

Saizomaru hummed as he looked down at the craft in front of him, inspecting the hood of the engine as he propped it open with a hand. "Avali technology… huh…" As he gazed inside of the engine bay he began to scan its components with his onboard optical analyzer. It was way more advanced than anything of earthen design, and the components were vastly superior. He wondered how it could be compatible with such comparatively primitive technology. And yet… he has a fair understanding of it.
He had to take a minute to process the rest of her explanation before something clicked in his head. "Carro… Hofferson?" he repeated. A flash of an image of a child boy riding on a large mechanical lion sprung to his head. Then the pieces fell together. "Wait, wait, wait… you mean that snot-nosed kid is the owner of Crop Co.?" The disbelief in his demeanour began to settle as he thought more upon it. He let out a sigh before continuing, "I guess it makes sense. Kids and technology these days go hand-in-hand. Seems every toddler has a SketchPad nowadays."
He continued to scan the interior of the engine bay. Numbers and letters and charts flickered within his eyes in fractions of seconds, and yet he was able to process and store this information as though he had spent weeks researching it all. He placed a hand on the engine itself, running the synthetic muscles on the palms of his fingers against the metal shell. "So this is some sort of… fusion reactor, fusing atomic nuclei to produce heat and energy to create plasma to power the ship's components. And yet…" his eyes were drawn to the fuel injection pipes. He lightly tapped on one of them. "… the pipes are able to hold this immense heat to transfer the power. Durable, yet flexible… like some sort of super carbon-fibre."
The android chuffed before he lifted his hand towards the hood, closing it down onto the bay. "Humans have been developing a means of using fusion reaction to generate energy for the last thousand or so years, but they could never produce as much energy as it takes to initiative fusion reaction, only just recently patenting a viable one a few years ago. And yet here you are with your own miniature reactor the size of a car engine. Colour me impressed."
Turning back to the Avali, Saizomaru gave a light smirk. "I guess you're pretty damn smart as well as being cute and fluffy. And don't say you aren't cute—you totally tried to lean in for more scritches. So that makes you adorable."

Sulfur followed the android along, a little curious on what he was doing. Was he inspecting her ship without permission? Eh, she'll let him off the hook for now. She stood besides him and watched closely, and Turo did the exact same thing. It's strange seeing someone so interested in her ship... maybe she should tell Carro about it and he could maybe use her knowledge to create more advanced space crafts. Her tail slightly wagged at the thought of the idea; being praised by various scientists and even Carro himself! Oh the sheer thought of being praised by higher people is making her squeal internally!
The little day dream shattered however whenever Sai went and spoke, first getting her attention whenever he repeated his name. "Yeah, the owner of Crop Corp.! What? Do you know him?" She would ask, only to recieve an answer she couldn't help but describe has disgraceful. The avali narrowed her eyes a little bit at the stranger, "Now there's no need to be rude towards him. He runs a massive company and is a really busy person all the time! Anyways, he's a good boss... so please don't talk rudely about him!" She said, her face switching from the angry look into a more calmer looking one as Sai went and continued his inspection. "Hey, don't touch tha-" Sulfur stopped midway through her sentence as the man spoke, her eyes sorta sparkling as he heard the android's words.
Okay, she had to admit; he was smart and handsome. But that doesn't change the fact that he just dissed on her boss! She continued to have this mindset that this guy was just a jerk, a really smart jerk! She continued listening to him, nodding with each word he had to say as if to signal that he was correct... and he kinda was. Who knew that this guy was an expert on ships! He wasn't really the only one impressed it seemed like. "I, uhm... wow, I didn't know that you would be so knowledgeable on this kind of thing! You... should really join Crop Co., even if you don't like it, you would be of great help for the company!" The avali suggested, smiling up at him. Her face would grow a tad blue although as he went and compliemented her again, and she would just turn away from the android, now regretting the decision on offering him to join. "And if you keep calling me cute, we're not gonna get along!" She said in a half-jokingly tone.

Saizo PL: 27,000
The android let out a long-drawn hum as he turned to look at her, casually resting his hand upon the hood of the spacecraft and leaning against it. "Well, I guess you could say I know him. More of an acquaintance, actually." He sighed and rolled his eyes up at the sky. "Y'see, we had a run-in with a ghost who was a little mad about… well, being killed… so we had to team up to stop her." He snickered before correcting himself, "Well, actually, I teamed up with his pet robo-kitty. He just kinda… sat back and watched."
As much as the Avali liked her new boss, Saizomaru felt that he had to tell it as he saw it. "Oh, I don't doubt for a minute that he's a good, smart boss-kid, but—" he placed his free hand on his metal chin, rubbing it with a thumb and forefinger "—well, how do I put this… He's a pretty spoiled brat. Seems like he cares more about his bottom line than he does doing the right thing. Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way, I dunno."
He pushed off of the hood and made his way around to the back of the ship, likely being followed by the feathered alien. He hummed as he looked at the jets on the back of the ship, tapping it with a finger. It wasn't steel, but something much harder and more durable, something that could retain the heat of the plasma that acted as propulsion without melting.
"Technology is pretty much second nature to me," he responded to her disbelief on him being knowledgeable of engineering. "Being a mechanical construct myself, it makes sense. Plus I have access to the military's archives, so anything that they know, I know—classified information included.
"As for joining your little corporation, I think I'ma have to give that a pass. I don't work for anyone anymore—especially a kid. Besides, I'm more of a missionary than I am an engineer."
He looked down and saw her little smile, but then she quickly turned away from him. With a chuff he reached down with a hand and gave her a little pat on the head. "Nahhhh, we'll get along good! Like a house on fire! And you know you like these…" he began to rub between her top ears again, scratching her head.
"Having said that… A cute little alien fluff like you is pretty strong, especially compared to most other people. You ever thought of honing that power to better help people?"

So this android fought a ghost? Huh, who knew that... well, that ghosts were real! She listened as he told the story, growing a little bit more interested as he continued. She knew that Carro wasn't a fighter; hell, she knew that he wasn't really that strong to begin with. The android was only telling her things she already knew. "A ghost... that's pretty strange. But interesting story either way. I know Carro doesn't fight and relies on Leo to do that kind of thing... I'm sorta like that myself and rely on my android to fight." The avali said, looking down at Turo with a short smile. Luckily the two haven't had the need to fight yet, but now that she thought about it, it's best to begin upgrading Turo soon and getting him stronger...
The avali shook her head whenever he continued talking bad about her boss, denying what the android was saying. She knew that he was a hardworker and cared about his company, along with the people in it! At least... she thought he did. Now that she was thinking about it, it's possible that what this android was saying is true... Sulfur sighed quietly and shook the thought away, continuing to be loyal towards her boss. "In my eyes, he's a great person... nothing is gonna change that, alright? He was really nice to me the first time we met and I can assure you he's not spoiled nor does he have a snotty nose." The avali said, smiling a little bit up at Sai. Even if he talked ill about the boss, he still seemed like a nice person.
The avali followed Sai around, watching him intently just in case he accidentally broke something. While she did this she continued on listening to him, wanting to hear more of what he had to say... longest it wasn't him still talking crap. "So you have all that information crammed into your head... you know, you can always stay at my place and lemme download some of the information you have! I mean, if that's possible... I just assume since you're an android you have some sort of memory chip inside of you or something. I just wanna copy it and kinda leave it on my computer, just so I can continue studying this planet's technology!" She said, really hoping he could do this for her. The avali frowned slightly once hearing he didn't want to join, but that saddened expression would change whenever he went ahead and pat her head.
A quiet chirp escaped her and she allows the android to scratch the top of her head, her ears lightly twitching as she recieved the scritches.
Sulfur was quite calm whenever he continued petting her, but once he mentioned her about her power, her eyes would grow a tad bit wide. Her? Fighting? "I-I, uh... I never... I'm not too much of a fighter and I'm really weak, so I can't possibly 'hone my power'. I rely on Turo to fight..." But what would happen if Turo was to be destroyed and she was left with nothing to defend herself? What then?
The avali was beginning to question herself now; the sheer thought of actually fighting people herself. "... I don't know how to fight, to be honest... and I never thought about doing such a thing. But now that I think about it, I should... really hit the gym sometime." Yep, that's what she should do alright. "B-But in all seriousness, I... should learn how to fight like everyone else. After one confrontation with someone much stronger, I nearly died. That was before I had Turo, and some saiyan went and saved me..." The avali seems to be willing to "hone her power", but she will need help in order to do that. "Can you teach me how to fight, Mister? As much as I prefer not to get my hands dirty, I think it's really needed that I learn how to defend myself." It's official. She wants to fight, but she will need help. Let's hope that this stranger will help her...

The android continued to rub between the alien's ears, all the while giving a half-mischievous smirk. Showing the little fluff exactly how cute and adorable she was was a fun past time that he planned to take up more. "Well I can't say I agree with having to rely on others. You won't be doin yourself any favours that way." He reached down and began to tickle in the area that was between both sets of her ears, scratching it with a finger. "And fine, I won't say anything bad about your boss anymore. Not until tomorrow, anyways—new day, new rant, and what have ya."
The alien seemed to have a lot of respect for Carro. In turn, Saizomaru could respect that. He didn't exactly have the highest opinion of the boy genius, but at least he was looking after the little alien fluff. He could give him that much credit where it was due.
He stopped giving Sulfur the attention she enjoyed, breaking away from her and walking over to the nearby fence. He turned to face her, and leaned on his back against the woodwork. "Well not all of the information is crammed into my head. In fact it's not even in my head. Whenever I record data, it is stored in the armour's memory banks, which I can then recall when needed, at which point augments in my brain are able to process it for me at the speed of a super-computer." He shot the girl a smirk. "And to answer your question: nah, not possible. Not for the most part, anyways—classified and other restricted information and all that jazz. Y'know how it is, right?"
His smirk became a light, serene smile when he heard that she wanted to learn to fight. "Well the gym may help you improve on your fitness, but it ain't gonna teach you how to fight. You gotta learn from someone, and understand the basic concepts of self defense. No five-thousand zenni gym membership card is gonna give you that."
He hummed a little before pushing himself off of the fence with both hands, springing back to his feet before taking some steps forward towards the alien. He looked down at her and folded his arms across his chest. "I think… Sure, why not? I can teach you a few things. But…"
The android tapped a finger against his bicep, the metals making light clinking noises. "I think we're gonna have to work on your confidence—more specifically, your reliance on others. Reliance does no favours for you or anyone else. The person you rely on will be spending more time protecting you than themselves—you will become a hindrance. And if they're not there to protect you… then you're as good as gone. Pow, Kaput, Blip—gone."
As sombre as his words were, Saizomaru gave another smile before reaching down to pick the Avali up from under her arms, turning her around and holding her close, her back against his front. "Now then, let's go find a decent place to train!" With that said, he ignited the propulsors on his boots and began to drift off over the land, a hundred foot or so off the ground, and heading to a nearby forest.

The avali was enjoying the scritches way too much to really show any sort of facial expression that wasn't a small grin. Whenever she allows people to pet her, it usually felt good... but then she realizes that she isn't a damn pet and shouldn't be going through this humiliation! But still, she allowed the android to pet her, using this as a sort of advantage. Hell, now she's beginning to think that letting people pet her could yeild some positive results. Anyways, she would just ignore the android whenever he mentions Carro again, kinda just shrugging and not really saying anything. She didn't really have much to say it seemed as he continued petting her.
Though Saiz would immediately get her attention whenever she felt no rubs on her head, the avali's eyes blinking a few times as she watched him. Hell, she grew even more interested with what he had to say, listening as he explained how his memories worked and such. Androids are extremely fascinating, mainly the human-like ones; ones that acted like a person, but with a couple of tweeks and such, like a giant memory... Anyways, she would frown however whenever he went ahead and answered her question, a disappointed frown forming on her face. Dammit, stupid classified information... "Fine... jeez, one day you're gonna let me copy at least some of the information that isn't 'classified', because I really wanna learn all the stuff that's on this planet." Sulfur replied, sounding just as disappointed like her face.
But that frown would turn immediately upside down whenever he mentioned that he could train her! She nodded quickly, her facial expression changing to a giant, wide smile... which revealed her horrible sharp teeth. Yep, she was way cuter whenever she didn't smile. The little bird girl nodded repeatedly as he spoke, to signal that she was listening to every word he was saying. "Yeah, I don't wanna be a hinderance before something actually happens! I don't want someone to get killed because they're trying to save me and everything, so I'll... I'll try my hardest to become a bit more powerful to protect my friends, and not be totally useless!" The avali said enthusiastically.
That enthusiasm would soon fade however whenever the android went and picked her up, a little curious on what was about to happen.
Then she would notice that the two were beginning to move further from the ground, which meant one thing... the two were flying. Her eyes widened as she stared down at the ground, "U-Uh, Turo... I-I'll be back home soon!" She shouted out at the robot, which would only just... sit there. He was a swell companion.

It only took a few moments before the pair of them found themselves overhead a large forest near the settlement. From the air it looked like a huge patch of dark verdant colours, spreading hundreds of acres in all directions, filled with huge beech, birch and ash trees that towered tens of feet from the ground.
Drifting slowly as to not disturb the wildlife below, Saizomaru scanned the area for a place to land—much of the ground below was obscured by the dense, wide canopies of the trees. Soon he found a nice open clearing and began to descend. As he reached the ground, the propulsors on his boots faded with a thoom sound before disengaging, letting him land softly onto the grass and dirt. He gently put the Avali back down onto the ground, letting her find purchase with her feet before letting go.
"Here we are," the android said with a small smile, holding his arms out to his side, revealing their new training grounds. "Mahigai forest, otherwise known as 'demon's bane'. They say that centuries ago this forest was home to a strong demon, and that his fighting spirit still lingers here. I guess we'll find that out soon." He hummed and turned around, kicking away several small pieces of debris. "Go away, pinecones. You're not needed here."
He casually began to walk away from the alien as he spoke, "So I think before we start anything, I'm gonna need you to show me how much power you have." He turned and looked towards her, giving a little smirk. "Y'know, so I know how much to hold back so I don't smush ya too bad."
He folded his arms across his chest and lightly tapped a metal finger against his bicep. "After that, you can demonstrate whatever martial knowledge you have. I know I said we'd start at the basics, but I need to know exactly where within the basics to start."

The avali watched the scenery pass by while she was being carried off to... somewhere. She was curious on where their training area is gonna be, and just thinking about it made her a little excited considering the possibilities. Whatever this place was, she was looking forward into seeing it. It took a couple of minutes until the android went ahead and stopped, now hovering above a wooded area. "So we're gonna do the training in the woods? Neeeeat... but you better not just drop me in the middle of the woods and then leave, calling it "training" and everything... I watched enough anime to know that kind of stuff might happen." The avali said, eeping once the two began moving down towards some sort of clearing.
After the android landed, she would hop out from his grasp and stand there, looking around and seeing where they are. She had no damn clue, but luckily Sai went ahead and told her anyway. "Demon's Bane... yeah, uh... that is totally not scary at all. I swear if a demon comes up and eats me whenever we start training, I'm gonna be really mad." The avali said, half-jokingly. Now she was having second thoughts about this whole training thing, but she would press on nonetheless.
She watched as he kicked some pinecones around, causing her to let out a little groan. Were they gonna train or just clean up some pinecones? Sulfur really wanted to go and get this over with, kind of losing the will all of the sudden. That is no good...
Though even if she was beginning to lack the will, she would still listen to the android and follow with the training. It doesn't hurt to try, does it? "Why can't you just read it? My power level is a thousand, but I can't... throw a punch at all. It's like, I don't know... I came here to learn and fight, so I have nothing to really show you." The avali frowned, her ears drooping. "As for combat stuff, I don't know anything. The only thing I can do is create a shield and multiply myself, but even then that doesn't help anything. I only have defense mechanisms and something for a distraction, it being me multiplying myself."

Saizomaru gave a light chuckle as he placed his hands on his hips. "I'm fairly sure there's no demons around here," he responded to ease her concern. "Besides, you're too small and fluffy. Probably got no meat on your bones anyway." As he kicked away some more pinecones and conkers, the android let out a sigh at the revelations of her martial ineptitude. "Well, first of all, I had hopes that you had some hidden power… y'know, some locked potential. Still, we can work with what you have." He walked back towards her until they were only a few feet apart from one-another. "So… I guess we begin at the very first form of basics."Saizomaru shuffled his legs apart. "First basic principle of combat is establishing yourself a stance. Keep your legs apart, around shoulder width, with one foot in front of the other. Your torso should be rigid and strong to provide a center of gravity. This will give you a firm foothold so you don't end up getting knocked around. Think of a table with all of its legs in the center—it is much easier to knock over than a table that has its legs in the corners."He held out his arms as though presenting them to the alien. "Next is your arm placements. Many styles incorporate different postures—boxing keeps them close to your head, shotokan karate keeps them close to the torso, and so forth. But each one has one thing in common: versatility. Your arms are both your offense and defense, providing a shield for incoming attacks to various locations, as well as being in position to attack quickly and effectively."Demonstrating his explanation, the android extended his right arm out towards the alien, slightly bent, with fingers opened and pointing in her direction. His left around extended out just past the crook of the elbow of his right arm in a similar manner. "A fairly simple stance," said Saizomaru. "This stance is part of the Mushou-Ryuu style, incorporated from ancient wing chun. This "shoot stance" keeps the arms close to the chest to better protect it, while still being able to quickly position to defend the head and lower torso. The right arm"—he patted it a couple of times with his left hand— "is used to measure the striking distance between yourself and the opponent, as well as to keep them at bay. The left arm is kept back mainly for defense, but is in perfect position to deliver a follow-up strike if the right arm deflects an incoming attack."His mechanical fingers curled into fists. "People say punching is easy. It is somewhat true, but there's a different between an easy punch and a proper punch. Watch closely."In the blink of an eye, Saizomaru thrust his right arm forward, his fist colliding with the air enough to create a pressurized bang in a similar vein to a sonic boom. He returned back to his position as lightning-fast as when he struck. "Too fast. A'ight, I'll slow down." He sharply turned his waist, but kept his arms in position. "The basis of your punch's power does not reside in your arm, but in your legs. Strange, I know, but bear with me. A proper punch is powers through transferral of kinetic energy, which starts from your legs as you move them to twist your waist. The motion allows this kinetic energy to follow through to the hips, up the torso, and then directed with your punch."He then lashed out with his arm once more, slower this time, and holding it in place. "The strike of your punch discharges this kinetic energy into whatever you're attacking. The stronger and faster the attack, the more kinetic energy you are transferring to your target.
"Now, here's a secret many people do not know: when you are following through with your punch, keep your arm loose." Taking his arm back, he purposefully delivered a punching motion with his arm rigid and stiff. "If you tense your arm muscles when striking, you are stiffening it to the point that you restrict that kinetic energy from flowing smoothly. Think of it like trying to throw a bowling ball in comparison to a baseball."He reared his arm back once more, but then delivered a much faster strike. "Keeping your arm loose when striking allows your arm to transfer that kinetic energy better: firstly, because it is loose and your muscles are less dense from the lack of tension; secondly, because that lack of tension allows your arm to strike quicker. An object in quicker motion contains more kinetic energy than one that moved slow. Lastly, you tense your arm when your fist connects with the target. The sudden tension produces resistance against your own kinetic energy and optimizes transferral of that energy to the target."He stood up straight once more and folded his arms. "You got all that?"

The avali sighed in relief after hearing that there weren’t any demons around here, not wanting to be some sort of horrifying creature’s dinner. Whenever he mentioned she was too small and fluffy, and added it with her ‘probably not having meat in her bones’, she would be fuming “I thought we were here to train! Unless this training involves you being a big metal jerk…” She said, watching as he went and continued his pinecone kicking.
Whenever he went and mentioned something about her having a hidden power, she would pipe up within an instant. She told Banzo this story before, so it’s best to mention it to her Master, “Avalis are real known to be great hunters, and there was a legend that an avali could… earn more power if they were to get stronger. Their feathers would glow, and the feathers on their arms would become longer… Basically they look more gorgeous, I guess. But anyways, there’s this one OTHER legend...” The avali would clear her throat before continuing, “It’s not really considered a legend, but back then when my planet had a moon, avalis would become monsters! Like massive predatory beasts… I heard this from my mother, and apparently my planet’s moon was destroyed because of this. Then we would become the peaceful avalis you know today, and apparently we were really good with music. I played the piano.~” She chuckled, sighing, “Good times… anyways, yeah! Let’s start learning some kung-fu!” The avali grinned at her little joke, finding it a little funny.
The avali went and listened to what this android had to say. She would look down awkwardly and spread her talons apart, doing this… perfectly. Though that was just the beginning. Slowly the android extends his hand and explained the various styles that apparently existed. This was pretty interesting to the bird, so it appears she’s gonna be able to do all this with no problem. She extended her arms out, the left hand closer to her body while her right hand were extended outwards. “Okay, am I doing it right?” It wasn’t half-bad! But of course she didn’t know and felt this was just awkward.
The bird continued to listening to him, acting like a student as she stared up at him intensely. Her large eyes would sorta pierce through him as she watched him, her ears picking up each word he said and memorizing it. Before she knew it, Saiz would go ahead and punch! Her eyes widened as she got out of her stance and she jumped back, a little chirp escaping her. “THAT was a punch? How can I keep up with that?” The avali asked, blinking a few times as she went and got back into her fighting stance. Sulfur’s ears would act as 2 pairs of satellites while she listened to him, picking up each word that came from him.
Slowly she began copying the punch he did as he slowed the next one down, making sure to copy it. She did these movements and continued looking at her tutor, nodding. “I think I got this… want me to do all this for you? I completely memorized what you said and stuff.” The avali grinned. “I have four ears, so it’s… really easy to hear everything you say clearly. Pairing that with a great memory, I gotten all of what you taught me right in my brain.” Oh, it seems that someone is a little cocky. But hey, interesting nonetheless… Saiz has himself a decent student.
