So, Nashua was back. That was good. The ambassador had been one of the closest contenders to Banzo's own power when he landed on earth, although Vegia was stronger at the time. However, she didn't seem to have kept up his pace. This was clearly a mistake that had to be rectified with VIGOROUS CALISTHENICS and MANY BOUTS OF PUNCHING. Also kicking. Gotta keep well rounded, naturally.
Banzo was waiting in the training area he had constructed on the other side of the mountain from the Saiyan Bunker. Well, he said "constructed". More like... "created." By practicing with his Void Breaker in Oozaru. And sorta consuming a part of the mountain. Thankfully, the crater-shape served well as a training ground, after he pounded the ground flat. He was currently waiting in the area for Nashua, after leaving a note for her that stated they would be training.
There wasn't a firm fixture for who was in charge of combat, but Banzo was not gonna let one of the more promising Saiyan Kingdom members just slack off and fail to reach her full potential. No, this was going to be some real training. He grinned and cracked his knuckles, waiting for Nashua to arrive.
There was a weird note in Nashua's sleeping area that she'd found upon returning to the Saiyan base to have a brief rest and check in on the others. It was some pretty darn crude handwriting that almost seemed like chickenscratch or someone trying to test the ink in a pen, although after a little while of carefully examining it, Nashua made out that the note was left by none other than Banzo, and that he wanted to train with her on the other side of the mountain. While she'd been looking forward to a rest, Nashua wasn't about to turn down an offer to hone her skills with the famously most powerful Saiyan remaining in their army. After a quick run back out to her ship and a few minutes of flying over the mountaintops, she landed down right nearby the powerhouse of the Saiyans.
"Hey!" she called out, her voice echoing through the cleared out valley coated with snow. It was pretty quiet, for once, seeing as the oft roaring blizzard that usually encompassed the mountain had settled down for the moment, revealing a beautiful blue sky that hung over the frostbitten battlefield. The Saiyan walked over to the shirtless warrior, her footsteps leaving behind a trail of feet in the snow behind her until she was only a few feet away from him, her golden gaze drifting upwards to meet the eyes of the significantly taller man. "So, I got your note," she said, "Thank you for summoning me, I've been looking to hone my skills best I can lately!" The Saiyan had high expectations for whatever Banzo had in store for her. She wasn't too sure of how well she would fare in a straight up bout against Banzo himself, though.
She glanced around the strangely flat area amidst the many nearly vertical mountains, which seemed smack dab in the middle of where a big rugged rock formation should be. This was definitely not a naturally formed flat area. "So, I'm guessing you flattened this whole place out yourself to make a big and clear battlefield or something?" she asked as her gold colored orbs studied the soon to be battlefield. Admittedly, she was pretty sure she could accomplish a feat like this in her Oozaru form as well, but that didn't mean it wasn't still impressive. And it was certainly convenient to have so near the base. "It's nice and big. Lets make good use of it!"

The muscular man nodded as Nashua landed and approached, waving with one hand. "Hey there, Ambassador. Long time no see. You've gotten a fair bit stronger." Not as much as he had, but she was still actually quite powerful, on the whole. "Got any new tricks up your sleeve?" He chuckled, one foot sliding to the side to put him into a wide stance as he cracked his neck. "Good to hear you're looking to keep up the training. How's the Oozaru practice going? I'm starting to wonder why I seem to be the only one who can reign in the big ape."
He had taken to asking most of the Saiyans this, and was basically asking as a formality at this point. Although... He wasn't sure, but he thought Nashua's pod might have a Blutz generator like his. Not that this meant she had mastered the Oozaru form, but it was a promising hint. Still, at her current level, she'd be a little hard pressed against him, even as an Oozaru. Ah well, better than nothing, yeah?
"Indeed I did flatten it out. I was practicing a technique of mine..." He raised a hand, a glowing dark purple orb starting to form in his hand before he let it die. "It's uh... a bit brutal, though. Lets me punch a good 125% of my weight class, I'd say." Cracking his neck, he lifted his hands. "So, shall we?"
Without even waiting for an answer, he kicked off the ground and shot forwards. His fists arced from above and below, aiming at the young Saiyan woman with a pair of haymakers. However, hidden by his position, his right leg was also drawing back for a snap kick. Would she block, dodge, or try to weather the sudden storm? The testing had already begun....
"I've been trying," Nashua said with a chuckle in response to the comments about her strength growing. She stepped herself back and put a bit of distance between herself and Banzo as she noticed him slip into a battle stance, before continuing to answer his next question. "Actually, I've recently managed to gain control of myself in Oozaru form, funnily enough." She rubbed the back of her head a little shyly as she recalled the circumstances of her awakening. "It's uh, a long story, though. There was this ring of Oozaru slavers and then this whole gladiator arena and... Uh, I'll tell you about it some other time." They would be able to catch up on their plots some other time, but this was the time for them to be training, and Nashua definitely needed to make good use of it.
At hearing Banzo detail his sheer strength, Nashua felt a bit more intimidated as the blows coming her way grew more inevitable by the minute, but she couldn't count herself out just yet. She didn't have any way of telling Banzo's exact strength, given her lack of a functioning scouter and no innate ki sensing ability within herself, but Nashua knew that she was strong enough to hold her own in a fight. Surely Banzo couldn't be that much more powerful than her, right? Her query was answered when Banzo rushed at her before she even had a chance to answer his question. Well, that was rude, Nashua thought as her muscles tensed and prepared for combat. So, the most powerful Saiyan on the planet, and possibly in the universe, was charging at her with his fists raised in a haymaker. What exactly are you supposed to do in these kinds of situations?
Nashua elected to throw herself to the side in an effort to avoid Banzo's extremely powerful fists, and, as luck would have it, the pair of hulking hands clamped shut right where she would have been if she hadn't moved. Okay, off to a good start. She was unwise to let her guard down, though, as the next thing she felt as a massive blow to the side of her torso launching her multiple dozens of meters across the snowy plains until she came to a halt after tumbling over her own weight. Did he kick her? It certainly seemed like he had, the female Saiyan slowly standing back up onto her feet and shaking off what had felt like being slammed into by a big, hairy truck. "Okay, I forgot about your feet," she called in a jestful tone. It didn't actually hurt too bad, but the sheer force of it had rattled her, and she decided it'd be smarter to wait for Banzo to move again. Getting countered in the face by him did not sound like a good time.

As Nashua slid to a stop, Banzo landed on his feet, hands wide and body crouched. His kick had slammed her to the side, and he raised an eyebrow. "Ohoh! Finally, someone actually bothers to learn this! Well done, Nashua! I mean, I'm still more than 150% of your strength, but I'm sort of a bad metric to base things off of, I believe. This is gonna be a bit uphill for you, though. Keep on guard!" It might have seemed like bragging, but there was a reason he was telling her this. If she rushed in blindly, misjudging the difference between them, it would result in an untenable disadvantage. There was no point in training where you were beat to hell and barely able to fight back. You needed to straddle that fine line between winning and loss, between being outmatched and being the one outmatching.
Hopping back and forth, his eyes narrowed as he searched for the ideal opening. "Well now... what to do..." With a sudden leap, he shot forwards, bringing his arm back as if to punch her again. Instead, an orb of ki appeared in his hand, and he began to fire a barrage of Ki Blasts her way.
Calling their spar an "uphill battle" was quite possibly the understatement of the century. Although that didn't mean Nashua was entirely incapable of holding her own against Banzo. "I'll, uh, keep at it!" she yelled back, her voice a little shaky with both a hint of fear and surge of determination on her part. If she could just prove herself against Banzo, that meant that she just might stand a chance against the Arcosian menace of the World Trade Fleet. Nashua's teeth clenched, and her feet dug into the ground to steady her stance as she braced herself for the massive Saiyan warrior's approach, and she was not disappointed when he began to rapidly hop back and forth before launching himself in her direction, his arm pulled back for a punch. She was ready to take the hit and finally get in one of her own in return.
Instead, though, his hand began to glow with that trademark luminescence that only a ki blast created. Nashua was lucky that it caught her eye, for she'd probably have just taken the hit pretty poorly without knowing it was coming. Instead, Nashua sent out two ki blasts at once out of each of her palms to meet the one Banzo had sent out, the blasts colliding in a big explosion, which Nashua opted to use as cover for herself, darting to the left and then sending several more small ki blasts in Banzo's direction, her legs darting quickly across the snow covered ground as fast as she could. It was certainly tempting to close the distance between her and the big guy, but she knew she had to resist the urge. In a straight up fist fight, she'd probably be down on the ground out cold within seconds.

Nashua exploded out of the haze of smoke, firing a small barrage of ki blasts at Banzo from one side as she ran. The Saiyan turned, sweeping his leg and kicking a few away, but some of them impacted. Gritting his teeth, he shot forwards, hands meeting as he swung a heavy hammer blow towards Nashua. "Ya gotta put a bit more kick behind these, somehow. If you wanna punch above your weight class, ya need to either have a million needles, or one greatsword. 4 knives isn't gonna be quite as good." Jumping upwards in the air, he pulled his hands back.
"Like so!" Then, with a flurry of palm strikes, he began to fire a storm of Ki Blasts down towards Nashua, before ending the barrage with a roar, a blast of Ki was spat forth from his mouth. As it petered out, he looked down and tilted his head. "Hey, if you can control your Oozaru form... interested in a little- well, not so little, I guess... a spar between giant apes? I could use some practice in Oozaru against a similar opponent. Fighting smaller things is different."
Well, a few of the ki blasts she'd fired off at Banzo made contact. That was the good part. The bad part was that all she'd really managed to do was make him feel some stings and piss him off. She listened to his advice about fighting strong opponents and as she was trying to piece together exactly what he meant by "a million needles", but before it registered that that was suppose to be a metaphor, a flurry of massive ki strikes was sent flying at the female Saiyan. "Whoa!" she exclaimed, trying to dodge and weave as much as she could, though she just kept getting hit by the significantly faster and more powerful blasts, until she was finally knocked off her feet by the one Banzo had somehow fired out of his mouth. Nashua didn't even know you could do that.
She'd been hit by worse, though, so she was only slightly dazed as she stood herself up and held the side of her slightly aching head. "Uh," Nashua "Yeah, actually, I haven't really been able to do much in my Oozaru form at all, aside from one time when I, uh, broke... West City." Banzo didn't need to hear about that, though. Nashua pulled her ship's remote out of her pocket and turned over towards the vehicle, holding up the remote and clicking on the generator. It only took a few seconds for the Saiyan to transform, her body hulking out and growing fur all over until the Saiyan was multiple times her previous size, managing to dwarf even Banzo in size and power.
"Alright," she growled, clenching her fists together and cracking her knuckles. "Whenever you're ready, bring it on, Banzo!" She was looking forward to seeing just how strong Banzo could become at full power, seeing as how he'd managed to clear out this entire crater with his power. And also a little afraid, since she was going to be on the receiving end of his wrath.

The muscular Saiyan grinned, as he watched Nashua dodge. She was actually doing a fairly decent job considering the power difference. Still, it was clear she was getting overwhelmed here.
"Hoo boy. Alright, we're gonna just..." he rubbed his head. "Ignore that West City comment. It's Oozaru time." Popping out a capsule, he tossed it behind him, activating his own Pod's Blutz Generator. "Now then, Nashua..." His voice deepened as he grew as well, although the other Saiyan might quickly notice something... off.
His body was growing bulkier and broader than most Oozaru, and rather than dark fur, he was covered in white hair. His skin was turning a dull red, and a pair of horns burst from his forehead. His knuckles cracked, and his bare feet began to match his now massive hands. Behind him, a long tufted tail sprouted and lashed. Towering to meet his fellow Saiyan's gaze, he grinned wide, sharp teeth bared. "... Time to see how a Demon Oozaru fares against the real thing!"
New PL: 200,000
With a roar, he lept forwards, grabbing for Nashua with trunk-like arms. The claws on the end rended the air, and his eyes glinted evilly as he tried to snag her by her armor's collar and hit her, HARD, with his newly horned forehead. "SPEEDLOAF, MOTHERFUCKER!"
Nashua was prepared for Banzo to grow larger than her and become a good deal more powerful. What she was not prepared for was when, instead of a big hairy ape with a large snout, like any other Oozaru that Nashua had seen, Banzo grew larger and larger, past even the size she had been expecting. Maybe not so much height wise, but his torso kept expanding, as well as his broad shoulders, pulsing with muscle and hulking strength as white fur sprouted from his skin, and horns akin to the devil's sprouted up from his head. It had only just become clear to Nashua that Banzo was not like any ordinary Saiyan. At a guess, he was some kind of hybrid between a demon and a Saiyan, based on the look of his... Well, whatever she was supposed to call this form.
Her hypothesis was confirmed as Banzo referred to himself as a "Demon Oozaru", before launching himself at her with extremely powerful looking arms. Nashua didn't even need a scouter or an energy sensing ability to tell that he was extremely- no, ridiculously powerful, Granted, she didn't have specifics, though as she was defenseless to avoiding having her armor's collar snagged and hear head slammed into by Banzo's horns. That was definitely a concussion. The Oozaru roared in pain as she punched at Banzo's face, tearing herself free from his grip on her collar and flying back a few dozen meters to get away from him. "Alright," she growled at him, "That wasn't really what I'd been expecting, but I'll work with it!" Nashua stomped her foot on the ground and puffed out her chest. Just because he was stronger didn't mean she couldn't give him a good fight! Nashua let out a loud roar before charging at him, summoning ki into her hands and trying to fire a blast directly into the demon's face, point blank.
The Saiyan woke up, unaware of what year it was. And she had a killer headache. Still in her Oozaru form, Nashua let out a pained groan, and lifted her arm to grab her ship's remote from her pocket, pointing it over at her space ship and shutting off her Blutz Generator. After a couple of seconds, Nashua's fur shrunk back down into her skin, and her size went back down to normal. With another grumpy groan of pain, she sat herself up, then glanced up at Banzo. "So," she said, wiping some saliva off of the side of her mouth, "I take it I lost, huh?" The young woman let out a small chuckle as she tried to remember exactly how the fight had gone after they transformed, though a mix of her head being pounded around and the fact that she'd only recently achieved Oozaru mastery made her memory pretty fuzzy. "Did I at least put up a pretty good fight?" she earnestly asked, slowly trying to stand herself up.

After the fight ended, Banzo returned to his base form and spent some time cooling down. He and Nashua had gone at it pretty hard, but ultimately she was worn out by the power difference and took a blow to the already shaken head. "Eh, less lost, more ran outta steam." He shrugged, still sweating from earlier. "Didn't do too bad, though."
Tapping his chin, Banzo hummed. "Lessee... the tripping on your own tail was kinda embarrassing, but it happens. Missing the hook punch and punching yourself in the face was hilarious, but you got through it okay. That dance-fighting though... think you took too many blows to the head...." His face remained serious for a moment, then he laughed. "Kidding, kidding."
Dusting off his hands, he cracked his neck. "Nah, you acquitted yourself well. You seem to have a decent grasp on the Oozaru form, and you've nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to skill at the moment. Ultimately, it just came down to relative strength." He shrugged again, gesturing to himself for a moment. "Not to brag, mind. I've been focused on fighting for over a decade now. You were an ambassador. The fact you've gotten as good as you have reflects well on you indeed." Offering a hand, he helped her to her feet and clapped her on the shoulder.
"Keep it up, and you should be bashing some Arcosian skulls in the day we retake Vegeta."
Nashua's face fell more and more into a horrified expression as Banzo recounted how terribly she'd done in the fight. Was she really that clumsy of a fighter? Just as she was beginning to rethink whether or not she should even keep trying, the Saiyan oaf admitted he was just pulling her tail, and that she'd actually done fine, considering the difference in power level between the two. "Oh, bug off," she said with a smile, shaking her head slightly as she got back on her feet. Her balance wasn't so easily regained, but after a second or two of stumbling, she got properly onto her feet, also thanks to the help Banzo gave her. Banzo's words took a moment or two to register in Nashua's thoroughly rattled head, but once they did, she felt a bit of pride swelling up in her chest from the praise he'd given her abilities.
"Thank you," she replied with a respectful bow. "That certainly means a lot, coming from the most powerful Saiyan in the kingdom. I'm sure the Fleet will be shaking in their boots any minute now!" If they weren't already, that was. She hadn't actually seen any signs of formidable Fleet resistance up to this point. Either they were biding their time and waiting for the Saiyans to strike Vegeta, or they just weren't as strong for some reason or another. "Bashing Arcosian skulls, though," Nashua muttered, Banzo's last comment tugging at her conscience for some reason. Well, she knew the reason it bothered her, but... "Do you think we have to destroy them in order to take back Vegeta from them?" she asked the older Saiyan, her tone a bit skeptical and unsure of itself.
It was hard to put into words how she felt about the World Trade Fleet. For one thing, they'd destroyed the Saiyan Kingdom as everyone knew it, killing thousands of Nashua's people and enslaving even more. But on the other hand... "Like, they're evil and all, but do you really think the only way to get what we want is by destroying them? It's just kind of a cycle throughout history. They try to kill us, then we try to kill them, back and forth pretty much as far back as history goes. Somewhere along the way, we have to realize that it just doesn't work." Nashua let out a sigh, and lowered her gaze. It felt like every time she told another Saiyan how she felt, she was met with a "you're crazy" sort of response, though maybe Banzo would be different? She wasn't sure. "Er, sorry," she said, clearing her throat. "I uh, appreciate you taking the time to train me. Thank you for that."
