APUS along with many other of his brethren was created by a saiyan known as Carro Hofferson. Created as his magnum opus, these battle bots known as plexroids were intended to bring his company into the spotlight and were given the special ability to fuse in order to create a stronger bot. However there was a catch: each of these plexroid had personalities of their own in addition to the fact that they could be piloted by an external force. Often these personalities would be bothersome, although APUS seemed to be one of the rare exceptions. Unlike the others, he seemed obedient and listened to commands fairly well compared to the other more rambunctious plexroids. The only odd behavior that he had exhibited was being physically affectionate to others and lacking a sense of personal space, although this was merely a fraction of his true nature.
While all plexroids had an innate desire to protect their companions, APUS was infatuated with his future partner. He wanted them not only to be safe but also to have them to himself only, displaying jealous behavior whenever it was even mentioned that his pilot would be spending time with anybody but Carro or himself. His desire eventually grew to obsession, even though he wasn't assigned a partner quite yet he couldn't help but obsess over him. Like many others, APUS would be temporarily shut down until he would meet with his new partner, a person that he will protect with his own life.

Offensive
[N1] Rapid Pecking: Mimicking the motion of an actual woodpecker, APUS rapidly strikes his opponent with his beak which does 33% of his PL in damage.
[UV2] Crop Circle (APUS edition): APUS opens his beak to reveal a giant cannon which fires out a green laser beam which does 33% of his PL in damage. In addition, this attack also has the nifty ability to merge with other Crop Circle attacks (or any other merging attack) to enhance the strength of that one singular attack.
Support
[SU1] Hurricane Force: Flapping his wings as hard as he can, APUS is able to unleash a gust of wind that is able to negate an energy attack or prevent an opponent from getting too close and striking him. Alternatively, he is also able to use this gust of wind to boost his speed so he can take a hit for an ally. He is able to negate an attack that is at most 100% or lower.
Transformations:
Green Plexus (+x3): When in a pinch, APUS will begin to take in more energy than his body can handle. While this will increase his strength, enough to get him through his time of crisis, the excess energy destroys his internal systems. Because of this, he is inoperable until he is fixed. The repairs cost 1000XP, all of which comes out of Lunatus' own wallet.
