Across the rough and rugged terrain of the northern expanse sat a city capture amid a rise of spines. Tall and imposing mountains closed in from every side and made the city feel almost claustrophobic with the only exits being either the air or giving chance to the treacherous mountain paths. It was a small wonder the city was able to maintain itself at all and had it not been for the near nonstop influx of supplies flown in from the outside via a forms of transport then it might very well have stopped existing. Which is the issue that creeped upon the people of North City when one of the larger facilities made to both maintain air traffic and receive food shipments/ship them off into the city found itself dealing with the worst kind of pest. A Majin of not terrible power plowing through various warehouses as a single torrent of pink flesh swinging about as she grabbed every errant piece of food and stuffed it down her gullet. Her hunger appeared near endless as just when it seemed she would slow down from absorbing or eating some new delicacy a small burp would puff out and the onslaught would begin again. "Gyahaha!" she released a gleeful laugh while ripping apart a mixture of rice and water, pink limbs flailing about to collect every stray drop all the while completely ignoring the constant pecking of bullets at her back. A police force had collected some time during the rampage and had caused attempted to first cajole the Majin into simply giving herself up with kind words and promises of leniency before quickly devolving into firing every bullet they had. Greater munitions and explosives that might be able to hurt her were completely off limit as severe damage to the facility or the food present could potentially cause even more damage than what she had already consumed would lead to. Which led to a very frustrating to downright panic-inducing episode among the police. Azarath for her part was simply content with the apparently never-ending meal even if it was hardly cooked and consisted of either raw or dry foods. The cans were the best naturally and held the biggest and best scrumptious little snacks while the randomly swallowed bits of baking soda or luxuries that were certainly not food brought a sour frown to her face. What was wrong with humans and bringing crappy food to places? Bleach? Detergent? How had these foods not been banned already. Even though those pods of blue and orange had looked appetizing the taste of burning pink flesh to the chemicals had been horrid!

What...what was that? Shiver spun around on the damp grass, turning away from the small creek she'd been fishing in. It felt like a considerable power, in action, and nearby too. North City if she was guessing correctly, or at least close by that area. What to do? On one hand, that kind of power being thrown around was probably up to no good, and she'd feel amiss if she didn't even take a look. Plus she recognized the power, kind of, it felt familiar at least. And that made her doubly curious. On the other...Shiver had always hated butting into things that weren't her business. The Arcosian stood up and sighed, briefly looking around dejectedly as she tried to decide on her course. It was the familiarity that decided it. She'd met some interesting people so far on Earth, it would best to see just whom this was? Shiver blasted off into the air, tail trailing behind her like a string as she picked up speed. Steadily she aimed her heading towards that familiar power level, inwardly measuring it against her own in her current first form. It was definitely significant, but it felt manageable at the moment. She decided to stick with being able to fit through doorways still, betting on the familiar power being friendly. The distance she had to travel was small, and in minutes Shiver was powering into the airspace above North City, instantly zeroing in on the disturbance. It was centered around what looked like some kind of warehousing facility, for supplies? The...police force she thought they were called? Was particularly visible with their flashing lights and bright uniforms, firing at something. Lowering herself down so she could see, drawing shouts from several of the uniformed officers, Shiver peered over their heads at....a Majin? Oh...well that explained the familiarity, it was the pink girl she'd met before and she was currently eating everything in sight. What was this girl and food, was it a Majin thing? Last time she'd tried to steal from a brutally powerful bug thing. Shiver sighed as she watched the pink blob suddenly consume another rack of stuff, groaning simultaneously with several police officers. What to do, what to do, this didn't seem so serious, the Majin was really only stealing. But to the humans it certainly seemed a big deal, and the situation could still spin out of control quite easily. Probably best to just put it to a stop. "Hey," She called out to the girl. "Remember me, from the pizza place? Could I maybe ask you to stop for a moment? Maybe take this somewhere...somewhere" Shiver looked about their surroundings for a place, finding nothing. "... somewhere else?" Current PL: 12,000 First Form KP:3/3 Azarath

The bullets continued to either slide harmlessly through her gelatinous form or simply ping off the more energy-laden portions of her body as scoop after scoop of supplies and food were shoveled greedily into the Majin's waiting maw. She continued to consume the food one handful after another with no interest of stopping until a gentle and familiar voice broke her stride. Her head swivelled to and fro and few times before landing on that familiar arcosian she had the fortune to run into twice already! She had even been so gracious as to share some pizza with her! Still the girl looked like she was trying to stop Azarath from enjoying this feast to her own heart's content which was a strange turn from how willing she was to share in the pizza shop. The concept of this food not being hers to take by sheer providence of finding it was a concept too far beyond Azarath to be entertained even with her quickly expanding intelligence. The food was there so why shouldn't it belong to her? The police were helpless to stop her so obviously they didn't want it as badly as she did. "Gyahaha! Shiver!" she called out joyfully to the Arcosian while waving around a bit of food she picked out of yet another large storage container. Name springing up from their first meeting in the Southern forests. Now how to deal with the fact that her friend was apparently unhappy with her eating here? Leave and forget about all of this FOOD?!?! or stay and ignore the other until she either joined in or left? Neither was particularly nice of Azarath to pull so instead she simply opened a crate of something dried wrapped in plastic that reminded her of jerky. Azarath tipped the crate over and rummaged through the pile for a bit until she found a suitably delectable looking piece of food and lifted it up to inspect herself. Satisfied she held it out over her shoulder while beginning to rip open the packaging on the rest, "Want some?" The arcosian had once shared with her so it was obvious that the only proper thing to do here was share back. The food she had been stealing until this point had been slowly dwindling, this warehouse now a mixture of a skeletal steel structure dirtied by broken wood and ripped plastic. Azarath thought she was particularly lucky to have the next and the next and the next to go to and eat as she pleased with. Even as she offered the food to Shiver there was already movement towards the next warehouse, a pale violet orb coalescing in her hand and being flung at the steel doors. Melting through them with ease and allowing Azarath to saunter on in when she chose to. Shiver

Shiver returned the happy wave with one of her own, though hers was a fair bit more hesistant and forced. She'd been recognized at least, and that was a good start, but the little Majin hadn't complied otherwise. In fact, the little being was already looking through another crate for a snack. Ugh, it wasn't like she'd really expected that last bit to work. From her experience this Majin was particularly ravenous, and more than willing to take risks for food. Really stealing from a bunch of humans was tame in comparison. Sighing, Shiver lowered herself down to the ground fully, walking forward to join her friend. She shot a the policemen a glare on the way as she stepped into the line of fire, thankful when the response was a few "cease fires" from the commanders. The torrent of fire tapered off and Shiver was able to approach safely, just in time to be offered something. Hmm, it appeared to be some sort of dried meat, somewhat juicy looking though drab. Shiver was...sorely tempted, she'd been fishing for a meal before this after all. But the police were watching still too, weapons aimed and ready. Aw heck, why not, she was already trying to diffuse a dangerous situation for FREE. Shiver reached out and took it, adding a polite "Thank you very much" as she accepted. Unfortunately, as she did so, the Majin still wasn't listening to the other part of her greeting, already firing a ki blast at some doors. This hostile movement was all it took to trigger the police, who again started firing wildly. It was completely ineffective, just like before, but the sensation of bullets bouncing off her body was still quite annoying. Spinning around, she let loose an ultra weak wave of ki, enough to generate an immense burst of wind that scattered the police officers. "STOP IT, GEEZ I HAVENT EVEN DONE ANYTHING YET. JUST LET ME HANDLE THIS," She shouted, glaring at the host before spinning back around and taking a quick bite. The small Arcosian would then follow the Majin into the next warehouse, and attempt to lay a gentle hand on the pink beings shoulder to stop her. "We really need to go, these people are MAD, and they might call someone strong to stop you soon. " And probably me too at this point, she added silently in her head. | Food Shortage |C.A.L.I'S PL: 10 ANKOU’S' PL: 10,000 |
"...Hey, are you sure we're going to find, uh, 'opportunities' in some mountain village?"
The frightening spiked man voiced his concerns about the current plan of action. His boss had gone off on one of her tangents again, about how the uncultured mountain swine needed to be shown true beauty, or something like that.
Said boss currently resided on his shoulders. Not directly, of course. She had brought along her own personal palanquin to shield her from the ailments. The large wooden litter meant for a crew of four or six was effortlessly carried on the back of the young demon. He didn't quite understand the need for it, either. Apparently it was to show up in a style the folks around here would get. Ankou hoped they did, because he certainly didn't.
The curtain was raised on the palanquin, and Cali stuck her head outside. "Of course we are. Idol's instinct. Have I ever been wrong before?" Ankou didn't respond.
As if on cue, the ruckus being caused from the factory reached the ears of the duo. Cali squealed in delight. "You hear that, Ankou? That's the sound of money! That's gonna help our cause! We just need to scam the poor people!" She put her hands on her hips and laughed haughtily. "Aren't I great, Ankou?"
"...Yes, you are."
The duo approached from behind the angry mob. Cali waited for them to notice her possé… but they didn't, and Cali wasn't known for her patience. "Ankou! Raise me higher! I need to see what's taking away my customers!" The command was promptly followed, and Cali caught sight of an interesting scene. Two of those damn infidels! Unforgivable. They were drawing all the attention towards themselves.
Cali huffed. "How're we supposed to exploit them when they're distracted!? Ankou, what do we do?"
"I'unno, boss, uh, maybe we could just wai-"
"I'm SUCH a genius! I know exactly what to do!"
With a wave of her riding crop/magic wand, a circular object covered in tinfoil that was plastered with her face materialized in her hand. "Get me in there, Ankou." The younger demon obeyed. Despite the distraction, Ankou was still incredibly dangerous-looking, and a few of the townspeople broke out into screams at his appearance. This soon caught the attention of the police, who turned on him as well. Not expecting the hulking figure they were about to face, many of them stumbled back in surprise. Whatever shots were shot bounced off his spikes harmlessly.
Cali had gotten a good grasp of the situation from up where she was. From what she could tell, the two vile creatures inside were consuming all the village food. Cali first inwardly thanked them, because when they had nothing else to eat other than her ★Black ~ Magic ~ Bun★, she could crank up the prices! Score!
But, publicity first. She swiped the curtain of the palanquin aside. She placed her head in her hands, tilted her head, and smiled cutely at the crowd. "Fear not, my fans~★!" She winked obnoxiously and flipped her hair. "Your savior, Cali-chan, the Cute ★ Magical ★ Girl, is here to save you!" She reached down and handed a flier to the nearest bystander, who looked at it in sheer disbelief. "Make sure to follow me online, okay~★?"
She then peered into the building and loudly cleared her throat. "Creatures who steal food from the innocent! Fear not! Your benevolent ★Magical~Girl★ has come to offer you food like no other! Special food! _Specialty_ food!" She unpeeled the tinfoil from the bun in her hand, revealing a perfectly purple, spherical loaf of bread.
"I have a bunch, just for youuu~!"

Oh good Shiver had taken the food from her! Obviously that meant that the Arcosian was here to help her rather than be annoying like those Earthlings. Thought it seemed like they had stopped with all the pestering little bullets when the girl had approached even if a few of them had pinged off again once she blew open the doors to the storage site. Honestly how rude were these Earthlings to not let a happy little Majin enjoy her meal in peace? Even Shiver seemed super annoyed with them! That thing with her energy was a super neat trick! "Yosha! Food Food food!" she chanted out while excitedly hopping from foot to foot as she walked into the warehouse, speach descending to a more basic "Ooh Ooh Ooh!" similar to how she had spoken when first venturing out. The rows of neatly labeled dry goods, water, and perishables with a giant [Priority] slapped to their side in red paint was enough to bring out even that more primal side of the Majin who craved to stuff as much into her mouth as possible at once. Shiver was saying something but it was sort of hard to hear her over the gurgling of her own stomach loudly protesting the thought of leaving any of this uneaten! The shame! The disgrace! The heresy! She turned to look at Shiver with a bit of an unimpressed look, "Mehhhh- Hungry! Eat them too!" she cried out while slipping from the grip as the flesh the hand was holding onto seemed to melt like gum and slip through every nook and cranny. She was ready! The first crate was already in hand when SOMETHING ELSE apparently wanted to do it's best to make sure she never got to eat without an interruption. Her face screwed up in a pout as steamed burst out in small spurts from the holes hidden on her head, "Gyahh! Annoying!"It was another Earthling looking girl with a very much not Earthling looking man beneath her. A giant and a midget were working together to interrupt snack time?!? If it weren't so annoying she might find it funny in some weird way, but instead she was caught by the strange bread the girl was holding out. Bread? Now? Also it was weirdly round and purple but Azarath had eaten out of the trash before so that wasn't such a big deal. It took a bit of grumbling but finally the Majin threw up her hands and decided to indulge the newcomer. Obviously she would while continuing her own meal by the age old technique of turning-your-arm-into-gum-rope. It stretched out in a strange swirling pattern while closing in on the bread. Should Cali do nothing to stop Azarath she would happily eat the bread, all the while ripping open a fresh crate of juicy apples to engorge on! Shiver C.A.L.I

The pink skin merely melted away from her hand, causing Shiver to sigh as the Majin going back to her meal within moments. This wasn't working, that was obvious, but Shiver was quickly running out of ideas. Really the only option left was to use force, but...she wasn't liking that method. Not only did she not WANT to do it, but truthfully it would probably just leave a bigger mess. So what else to do? Maybe just stick close by until she was satisfied, try to contain the situation as best she could? Letting out another sigh, Shiver took another bite out of her snack and began to mentally prep herself for some babysitting. A new sudden batch of screams alongside gunshots drew her attention however, and Shiver turned to find two more newcomers on the scene. They were...an interesting pair to say the least, with a young human female being carried in a litter by a much larger and threatening nonhuman...And the girl was handing out pieces of paper to the people outside. Well, it seemed strange but who was she to judge, being an alien from halfway across the galaxy. Why had they come though? She listened intently, tail quivering slightly as the girl peered into the building. Unsurprisingly, they'd come for the disturbance, to helps stop it by...offering food? Shiver stared at the purple haired human in near disbelief, trying to make sense of the girls weird introduction and the offered meal. What was a...magic girl? And why was the food bright purple? So far she he hadn't seen such coloring for food on Earth. Was it safe? Her further introspection was interrupted by the sight of her Majin friend reaching out for the purple sphere. Shiver almost slapped the hand down, about to cite some old mannered wisdoms about strangers and candy, but she abstained at the last moment. Really, the pink one had been consuming random foodstuffs all day, some of which had NOT been food judging by the spilled container of soap stuff. What was one more snack in comparison, especially if it would maybe help convince her to leave. Of course, Shiver was still had her suspicions, it could be poison after all. So she simply stood there calmly at rapt attention, ready to act if need be, waiting to see how this latest development would turn out. Current PL: 12,000 First Form KP: 3/3 C.A.L.I

All was going well. She looked on, a sly smile on her face, as the bubblegum-skinned girl gobbled up her ★ Black ~ Magic ~ Bun★. She waved her riding crop, and another one materialized in her hand. "Voila! See? Isn't Cali-chan perfect? I can make these tasty treats, just for you!" She tossed the bun at the Majin. And then another. And then another. A seemingly endless string of strange foodstuffs poured from the palanquin, all of them landing nearby the Majin. She then turned to the crowd.
"You can all thank me. I can solve your little food problem, no sweat!" Cali then opened up the other curtain of the planquin, looking behind her. It seemed the majin was occupied with eating fruit. A blank smile spread across her face. She shut the curtain. "Ankou. Go stand in front of her." The hulking demon did as he was told, walking over to the Majin's location. He stopped just shy of her, and then turned around. His massive frame blocked the view of the onlookers, and anyone who tried to slip around got a bone-chilling look from the spiked demon.
Cali smiled at the audience. "See? She'd much rather eat my food than your food stores..." She whipped out another bun. "...and it's no wonder why, with these ★Black ~ Magic ~ Buns★, made right out of Cali-chan's love for all of you!" She made a heart with her hands. "Tasty and good for you, a food for all ages! You may be short on food right now, but fret not! You all can have quality food, right from the source! Made fresh on site! I'll restock your shelves ᶠᵒʳ ᵃ ᶠᵉᵉ ᵒᶠ ᶜᵒᵘʳˢᵉ!"
Cali smiled and wagged around her bun. Ankou stared menacingly at another onlooker trying to sneak past him.

Her mouth opened wide and circular as she began to dig into the apples, sucking them into her gullet like some horribly demented vacuum. The bun had been nice and filling sure but she hadn't actually gotten to taste any of it and with the apples lasting no more than a few seconds all together she looked towards the fresh stack of purple buns sitting around her now. Was this some sort of offering? A sacrifice? What a kind Earthling to do this for her even if that behemoth she had come riding on was standing much to close for her liking. "Mine." She declared clearly for the demon to hear while scooping as many into her mouth at once as was possible. Cheeks bulging out and a visible circular bulge going down her throat before it all just disappeared. They were good, very good! Though that endorsement coming from someone who could eat of the trash and find everything delicious was weak at best. Had she been a bit more aware of the situation perhaps the fact that Cali was now trying to sell these buns to the people while making sure her eating rampage continued unhindered would have bothered the Majin. Honestly not giving the food out for free? What a selfish person! She should just keep on giving and giving until she was done so Azarath could move onto her next snack. With how everyone kept running out of food she might have to actually eat a person or two. Sure she had been raised to believe that was a bad idea but ever since leaving the coast it seemed no one really cared! Earthlings sort of just let her do what she wanted. Shiver had been oddly quiet during all of this and Azarath looked over to her non-Earthling friend, offering up one of the tasty purple buns for her, "Tasty. You can have one." Shiver C.A.L.I

Shiver HAD been oddly quiet during the whole exchange, standing off to the side like a small statue. Originally, this had been due to caution, her suspicions of the new arrival inspiring her silence. Now however, now she was busy being a little flabbergasted over whatever was occurring in front of her. The purple bread....the girl was just poofing it into existence...from nowhere, as fast as her pink friend could eat them, which was very very fast. Just where was it coming from? How? All she did was just wag that little crop in her hand and ZAP, there they were. Was this magic? She'd heard of such things but...it was different to see it in action. Strange or not however, it HAD accomplished something notable, namely distracting her Majin friend from consuming anymore of the peoples supplies. Even better, the hulking...manservant? came over to block anyone from seeing or shooting at the pink girl. Of course, the girl did seem to have an ulterior motive, Shiver's pricked senses just able to make out the sudden booming business. But what did that matter, when a far more grievous and pressing problem had just been solved. Heck, if she wanted to make a little money while at it, then fine, Shiver could understand such sentiments perfectly. Turning, Shiver found her pink friend offering her one of the buns, professing her compliments to the taste. Huh, well she WAS curious, and surely any extra effects would have been noticed by now after the quantity the Majin had inhaled. Accepting it with a quiet "Thank you," Shiver would take a cautious bite, nipping off the very edge of the bun delicately. It was actually really good, especially for being oddly colored magic bread, and it piqued her curiosity. Finally stepping forward, her suspicions mostly gone at this point, Shiver would aim to walk up next to the litter. Speaking up the girl from below. "Hey...Just what is this? And how did you just...make it like that? Also, thanks for this, it was getting a bit rough there."
