"Hey, Neo, do you think this's the right place?"
The duo stood looking towards what seemed to be someone's home. It looked less like a home than a workshop, though, if the hunk of metal on the front yard wasn't a fair enough indicator. It was clearly inhabited, but Synthesia couldn't see by exactly what. He sighed and wrapped his arms around himself. It was real cold up here. However, it was a necessary sacrifice- he planned to help out his new friend, after all.
For once, Synthesia's wandering was not devoid of purpose, as he had now found a companion to travel along with. Furthermore, said companion had goals in mind! Admirable ones, too! Synthesia felt like he was doing far more traveling with her than he would be traveling on his own.
Or at least, he felt like he would be doing more, were it not for the state of the world. It was hard to get anywhere whilst devoid of technological knowledge. Technological knowledge both of the children sorely lacked. The solution? North city!
The place was amazing. At least, Synthesia supposed it must be amazing. He could barely tell what any of the cool stuff around him did, after all. However, if people were saying this was the technology hub of the world, it was safe to assume that it probably was. But, just heading to the city wouldn't be enough, no. They needed a mentor!
After a bit of digging- mainly pestering politely asking locals, Synthesia managed to pick out a couple of names of people who could perhaps be of use to them. The best of the best! One such name that stuck out to him? Sulfur.
It just sounded like the name of a tech genius. To be perfectly honest, the reason that Synthesia had chosen him to ask to mentor them was because he hadn't remembered the name of any of the other options. That was fine, though- he was sure that they'd be happy to help. Probably.
And so, they got a map, and headed to the house. Synthesia navigated them by his own suggestion, by using a map they had got from a particularly cheery tour guide. Synthesia read the map as best he could, which wasn't very well, especially considering that he was reading the map upside-down. Regardless of how many turns it took and how many times they had stopped at a property that wasn't the one they were looking for, Synthesia was confident that this was the house that they were looking for. He was also confident in all the others, but it's the thought that counts, right?
He cleared his throat. "U-Umm, hello! Helloooooo? Does a 'Sulfur' live here?"

Neo had honestly expected something a bit grander when she had arrived at her workshop. It was based in North City after all, home of the newest of technology. Something that seemed run-down as this shack just seemed shocking compared to all the crazy inventions and ultra-tech gadgets she had imagined. However, she wasn't disappointing. Even something as simple as this house felt out of place for the doragon. After all, she had lived her entire life without all of these luxuries. Plus, this person was gracious enough to help them learn about technology anyway.
She wasn't alone in her journey anymore. Neo looked up to her new companion, Synthesia with a nod. "I believe so, although there is only one way to find out," Neo said, responding to his earlier question. He had invited her to learn about all these new sorts of technology with her. As important as her new quest was, she still had to carry out Saban's will to learn more about the outside world. Hopefully, this would prove to be an enlightening experience for her. After all, the little doragon was still confused by the concept of electricity and engineering herself. It was times like these when she had felt the true impact of her culture shock. While she hadn't expected to come out of this encounter being an expert at all things machinery, Neo had hoped that she would at least be able to understand the basics.
