Now, what should he do around South City today? Maybe he could go around in the park again, that was usually where he always did his afternoon jog at or at another place where he could spend his afternoons. Hardly anyone would want to hang out at a boring and bland park, so why not go to another place for a change? Mochi would walk down the streets, looking around for any place in the city that he might want to go until he saw it. The place that he sought out was an arcade and those places seemed to be a lot of fun which was why he probably tended to spend his time having fun than thinking about the sad things in life. With his mother suffering from an illness that even doctors wouldn’t be able to cure, he would try to make himself stronger each day, so his father would come back and praise him.
Anyway, as he entered through the double doors of the establishment, there was ever so colorful machines and literally all the kids who had gotten off from school for the day were on those arcade machines. Some of them had games that would both interest little kids and grown ups, but mostly they were always here for the nostalgia. As a young boy, he had always grown to love the games he played there and time that would pass in between, it seemed like many of the younger generation now enjoyed the arcade games he used to play some time ago. As he would find a game where the premise was to have the main protagonist go around to catch bugs, so he could train them, he would begin playing that game.
It was one of those games he had fun with when he was a lad, maybe he could see those high scores that were made by other people later. The sights and sounds made by other arcade games were overlapping, but he didn’t particularly care if he could hear games playing in the background. He was here to have fun regardless and if his mother would get better soon, he could take her to eat or on an outing whenever.

Mollusc had learned a lot about humans in the past couple of months since he landed on the planet. He had been learning how they respond to such things and trying to understand them. Humans in generals were such odd creatures. Most were weak but some were astronomical powerful like Ramen. They were so united but yet so divided. They had survived countless invasions in the past. He wanted to spread Porunga to them but he didn't know. He was not apart of them. So he concluded he had to be more like them. He had asked some random kid in the city what the best place to go to be a quote on quote hip. He had heard on tv once or twice but he was unsure what it meant. They pointed him to the arcade.
They had told him it was a magical place where you could play these video games. He had never heard of video games. Yet, if he wanted to learn more about humanity he felt it would be best to try and learn. He arrived at the Arcade. He'd walk in and could see some people looking at him. He walked over to the game called Wack-A-Android. On the machine was a picture of a blue-haired man. He looked confused before lifting the hammer and smashing one of the androids. He hit slightly too hard as the machine broke apart sending smoke dust and parts of the old machine everywhere. Whatever was left was soon overshadowed by the mangers rushing over trying to talk him down. They seemed made and he didn't understand why He turned confused. It did say Wack an Android. He assumed he had to hit quite hard. "Did I win?" He asked confused as the men grumbled. Not a good start Mollusc thought.

Another day another exploration, this time it was the place known as South City. Like it was named, the City was indeed down in the South, farthest she'd ever been yet. It was warm, very warm, the bright sun uncomfortably hot on her skin. The city was crowded too, far larger and populous than the mere villages she'd mostly spent time in. In a way, this change was welcomed, helping her blend in amongst the crowds of people and there was so many interesting things to experience. The heat however, it was quite tiresome, as was the bustle and noise around her. For hells sake, she'd already been bumped into a ridiculous amount of times, didn't humans watch where they were going? So, after the sixth or so street, Shiver was looking for a place to dip inside for a bit. But where to go, she wasn't hungry at the moment and that crossed off most of her usual choices. A brightly flashing establishment off to the side caught her attention, and the young Arcosian stepped out of the throng of people to more closely examine it. An "arcade" huh, what was that? Whatever it was, it was certainly popular, Shiver able to see multitudes of laughing smiling people moving about inside. But what was so popular? All she could see were numerous machines and flashing boxes. Hmmm, she looked about for a passerby to ask, hoping to see a helpful soul as she called out to several of them. She was ignored, her diminutive first form seemingly beneath their notice as they continued by. The few people who did notice just waved her away, as if they were too busy to respond. After a few more failures Shiver had enough, she'd just find out the hard way. So the Arcosian pushed in the double doors and stepped inside, narrowly yanking her tail to safety as the doors shut behind her. Instantly, she was assailed by a great clamor, accompanied by shouting voices and bright lights. Maybe this hadn't been a very good choice to relax. PL: 12000 First Form Mochi
