Sulfur's PL: 1,000 "Hey, uh, it's me! Sulfur, uh... can you come over? I need to talk with you and... just please come over. Banzo isn't here to talk with at the moment so... you're kinda the only other person I can really talk with. Anyways, uh, yeah. I'll be at my house, and don't worry, it's room temperature at the very moment; not bellow freezing or anything..." Sulfur said, letting out a quiet sigh and continuing, "Hope to see you here. Bye." She sighed yet again once she was finished with her voice mail to Carro, stretching out on the couch. TURO was nowhere to be seen at the very moment, considering he was getting repairs done over at Crop Co., so right now she sat alone in her home alone.
She hated being alone.
The avali would go ahead and place her phone just on the coffee table in front of her, rubbing all four of her ears and letting out another bigger sigh. Right now TURO was inoperable due to the tournament she decided to place him in, but even with the knowledge that he was gonna be alright, the thought of being left all alone just 'cause of one battle frightened her. It wasn't technically a battle or anything, but still... He was beaten up to the point he needed to be fixed, and that's all that mattered.
But is this really the only reason why she feels bad at the moment? Was there something else? To answer that question, yes there is. For right now however, Carro would need to come over and find out himself. The avali would slowly lay herself down on the couch and whined out quietly, crushing two of her ears with her hands. Whatever she needed to tell him, it must be really frustrating to bear. Carro Hofferson

CAGED BIRDS DON'T SINGCARRO'S PL: 10
"I knew it, LEO! I knew she'd be mad at me and our friendship's ruined, and she's gonna leave and the others are gonna follow and I'll be alone and, and and-- and----" Carro panicked, as worrisome and catastrophic as ever. He only now got the courage to lend an ear to Sulfur's voicemail, and next thing you knew LEO was laying on her side, letting out a hefty sigh as the saiyan continued to rant about how this was the end of Crop Co. The feline's eyes flashed as she responded. "FAILURE ASSESSMENT: 3.4% CHANCE OF COMPLETE DOWNFALL." Carro pointed a finger at the cat. "Stop lying!" He snapped, still pulling on his hair. "ACTION ASSESSMENT: VISIT SULFUR. 89% OF SUCCESSFUL CONVERSATION."
"Wait what NO--" The fearful saiyan could only get that much out before LEO lurched forwards, picking up the CEO by the scruff of his shirt before dashing off, his screams soon silenced as they came to a stop in the span of seconds- right in front of Sulfur's house. "...Fffff--" Carro muttered, swallowing hard. LEO had already extended a claw forwards and knocked on the door with one of her talons, setting down the still shook and even messier-haired Carro on the ground as he regained his composure, blinking and letting out a quick yelp and going into a frenzy to try to fix his windswept hair. Once he at least managed to pry back some of his haywire bangs, the saiyan turned around... Only to see no sign of LEO now. Great. Sucking in a slow breath, he'd tenatively turn to the door and compose himself, still unnaturally stiff with a clear, tired air around him. There was nowhere to run- hopefully Sulfur wouldn't butcher his spirit too hard.
Or maybe, just maybe, he was overthinking things. ...Nah, that couldn't be it.

Sulfur sat in silence as she just stared towards the TV, not really wanting to do much while she waited. She would turn some sad music on and stuff, but right now that's just too much effort. Heck, even thinking feels like it's too much effort! So many thoughts ran through her head to the point it was getting annoying. She lightly gripped onto one of the pillows she had on the couch and sighed, shaking her head. Was she just overreacting right now? Was all the stuff she thought about not a problem? Soon she would stop asking herself questions once hearing a knock, blinking a few times. Well, he was here.
Slowly she hopped off from the couch to make her way over to the front door, opening it slowly and smiling once seeing Carro. It appeared kind of forced if you were to look closely, and speaking of looking closely, it seemed that she wasn't exactly getting a lot of sleep either. "Hi, Carro. Come on in... Just sit on the couch and we can talk. It's nothing too serious, but I felt like I should tell you in person." She said after walking back over to the couch, waving the small saiyan over. "Was the trip over here good, by any chance? I'm sorry for making you come all the way from Central City all the way over here, heh..." She would say, patting a spot besides her after climbing up to the couch. "Come. Sit."

Sulfur's mind wasn't the only one overreacting. Carro put on his own uncomfortably forced and clearly worried grin in response to the Avali, forcing another meek chuckle. Nothing serious though, Sulfur said. But it had to be serious if she wanted to talk to him in person. The saiyan just nodded along, slumping over and wiping sweat off his forehead when Sulfur turned around to head to the couch before straightening himself up with a puffed chest, shuffling after his friend.
And then, the trip was brought up. "It was..." He put a hand to his head, which in turn caused his orange locks to spring back up to a very unkempt and swept form. "...LEO likes to go fast, I'll say that much." He smiled again before frowning furiously, in a frenzy to try and prod his hair back down to a remotely respectable style, sitting down on the couch with Sulfur. "Soooo, uh... What's up?" The messy-haired saiyan gave up on styling his hair with his bare hands with a defeated sigh, turning to the Avali in spite of his sweaty forehead and palms.
This was either a breakup with him with their friendship, or maybe... He narrowed his gaze, clenching his fists. "Don't tell me Banzo did something..." Well, he was going to sure be doing something soon either way. "He breaks your heart, I break him, that's what I said- and I meant it." Even though his mind was racing with millions of other equally bad possibilities, Carro couldn't help but to be uneasy thinking about the strongest saiyan in particular as of late... Still, despite his palpable awkwardness and worry, clear concern could be seen for his friend all the while.

Yeah, what she needed to talk about was actually very serious. Like VERY serious. Honestly she felt really bad for deceiving Carro into thinking that nothing bad was happening, especially with the multiple bandages that she had wrapped around her arms. She kept it hidden by wearing a sort of long-sleeved sweater, believing that Carro would freak the hell out instantly if he saw the state of her wings.
But as they began talking though, she couldn’t help but feel a little bit better. A smile formed on Sulfur’s face after hearing what his trip was like, a snicker escaping her whenever seeing her boss struggle with his hair. The smile would fade once he sat besides her, immediately realizing that this talk wasn’t gonna involve playing video games or work related stuff.
No, what she needed to tell him is very, very important for her health.
She looked up at the small saiyan immediately, her eyes widening for a brief moment as she shouted out, “No! Uh, no… But something is weird about him lately but… That’s not the point.” The avali would look down afterwards, a quiet sigh coming from her as she leans against Carro. “If he does do something, please refrain from doing anything to him. He can easily just… ehh, I don’t wanna imagine that actually.”
The avali frowned, beginning to think on what she had to say. She might as well start from the very beginning, right? “You know how avalis are, right? Well if an avali strays far away from their tribe at extended periods of time, they tend to… change mentally.” She gulped, reaching a hand up to his shirt and gripping onto it. “I’ve been… going through a lot these few years. I’ve been… contemplated really horrible things for a while now, but…”
Slowly, she reached her free hand over to her own sweat sleeve and pulled it back, revealing her bandage-covered arm. “I plucked all my feathers last night. Avalis can lose a lot of blood from doing this and… well, yeah.” Sulfur’s eyes began to water up for a moment once she explained to him on what’s been happening, but soon continued, “I’m really sorry… I’m so, so sorry…” The alien quietly whimpered, her grip on his shirt tightening a little bit. "If it wasn't for AVALON, I would've... not been here right now."

CAGED BIRDS DON'T SINGCARRO'S PL: 10
"Well if he tries anything I'll teach him a lesson he won't forget, but he'll be fine in the end." Carro chimed in response to Sulfur's comment about Banzo. Though the almost pouty saiyan's gaze shifted when the Avali leaned him, face reddening with an awkward expression, if only for a moment before he calmed down. Sulfur began to go from the beginning, explaining a bit about her nature as an Avali, namely her mentality due to being away from her pack. His gaze began to sink with fear and dread. He knew these sorts of stories all too well. He'd been there himself, multiple times, none easier than the last. Sulfur herself was... not taking it well, having plucked out her feathery arms.
The saiyan remained silent for a moment, gaze softening as he put a hand on Sulfur's back while she clinged to his shirt, slowly taking a shaky breath in. What was there to say? "Sulfur, I..." He took a breath in. "Well, I... Trust me when I say I know how this feels." He admitted, his gaze trailing off to the side. "I wasn't always the head of Crop Co. My dad ran it for years before me. Then... he became mostly paralyzed in this, uh... big accident, and I took the torch from there." Carro wasn't sure where he was going with this himself, but he continued nonetheless in an attempt to show some understanding and empathy. "I was not ready in the slightest. I kept going and going, working and working myself dry and dead. It felt like nothing would ever be worth anything. I would accomplish things, big things, sure, but... I didn't feel anything. No pride. No accomplishment. Nothing. And I didn't know why."
"Is something wrong with me?, I thought. Why am I like this? Why should I keep going?" Young Carro was a dark, dark place. Though here the saiyan still stood, stronger than ever despite his weak power. "...I nearly gave up many times. I felt alone, but... I wasn't, really, despite my thoughts." He turned his gaze to the window. "Tianum and her family, dad, mom, my robots, my employees, colleagues... They never left. They kept me going- they were, well, my pack in this sense- they became that, at least." He forced another smile, giving Sulfur a quick pat on the back.
His grip around Sulfur tightened into a hug. "I know I'm probably not gonna be able to replace that hole in your heart." The saiyan took a slow breath in, using one hand to wipe away some stray tears. "Just... know I'll always be here for you. I won't leave you truly alone, ever." He forced a smile, turning his gaze to his friend. Nowadays he had no idea what he would do without his new friend... "Besides, us mechanics don't leave something broken, right? We can at least try to fix it."
"You're gonna be okay, Sulfur. I'll help you. We all will." "You hurt for awhile, but don't give up. It'll all be better soon enough- trust me. It'll pass."

Sulfur snickered quietly at his response, shaking her head a little bit. But that would be the last ounce of comedy that would come out from him afterward, for she went ahead and explained all that happened. She looked up at him to see how he would react, her ears lowering after seeing what seemed to be fear in his eyes. She lightly pressed her face against the saiyan’s chest, wanting to hide from the shame and guilt that she knew too well.
But then she would feel Carro’s hand on her back, which encourages the space raptor to slowly look up at him. What he had to say next, a small smile would begin to form… well, not because of the whole incident and whatnot, but that even Carro has gone through the same things the avali’s currently going through. She loosened her grip a little bit and continued to listen, not wanting to stop him.
He continued to explain how he himself almost given up, and that he also felt alone. Tears began running down her cheeks, a light sniffle escaping the bird. Her smile grew bigger whenever he went ahead and gave her one, “T-Thank you Carro, I-I-…” Before she could say anything else, he would go ahead and hug her. Her cheeks grew a tad blue, a little flustered by the sudden hug… but either way she accepted it. The avali slowly hugged onto his side and nodded, "Y-Yeah… we are mechanics and stuff… We do fix stuff and all t-that…”
Slowly, the avali lifted her head and looked towards the saiyan, tears continuing to stream down her face. “I… When I got with Banzo, I was only interested at first ‘cause of his muscles… He… was a nice guy, but…” She breathed quietly, her ears pinning back once more. “I… never experienced such strong feelings at that time but… right now, this feeling is… v-very strong.” She quietly gulped. “Do y-you just wanna… go out sometime? Like j-just us and n-nobody else… an-and… I think you k-know what I mean by t-this…"
"A-And I'm asking if yo-you wanted to go and... date."
