FORGIVE BUT DON'T FORGET L.E.O | CARRO
LEO'S PL: 32,000 | CARRO'S PL: 10
"THREAT ASSESSMENT: 76%. RECOMMENDATION: PROCEED WITH JUSTICE." "LEO, it'll be fine. We'll fix her up, let her go, then slowly but surely bring her back." "HEAD OF PLEXROID PROTOCOL DOES NOT LET EVIL PROCEED." "She's not entirely evil." "...THREAT RECALCULATING: ASSESSMENT RESULT, 77%."
With a sigh, Carro began swiping between his tools once more, fighting to keep his eyes open. He had a few ideas of what to do with Amber, but first things first he had to repair these damages. There was the simulative and "Life Line" programs he had been developing for the Plexroids and their training, which also perhaps could be used to properly reach out to the unresponsive robot, but... It was too risky for now.
Sitting on his apartment's balcony with LEO's head resting on the guard rail and dozens of tools, wires, and machines spread haphazardly, the saiyan resumed tapping away at his laptop. He had been pulling up several of his notes about Amber and her workings, but... Carro wasn't sure why all this happened or how, but he was still determined to find out and help the Amber he knew come back. The good times they had hadn't just disappeared, right?

Over the course of the trip, Amber's vision had remained lifeless, her limp body mere luggage in the seat next to Carro. Her body operated at its lowest possible setting, while crystal energy tried to repair and mend the damage done to itself. The worst of the damage had been mended by the time the giant robot had landed near Carro's own house, and now only the blood remained as a sign of the serious damage that had been done to the girl. To anyone looking from the outside, as normal people, it still looked like the girl was on the brink of death. Her faded green hair lay in a mess around her, as the body simply breathed softly.
Slowly rising to a seated position, the girl ran her black sleeve under the bottom of her tender chin. She winced as the barely-healed wound ached. Her gaze went to the back of the small Saiyan. Amber was shocked that he had been willing to bring her here, after all that had happened. I half expected to find myself in a trash-can or the ocean; seems fitting for a traitor, as all of his employees seemed so quick to push for. Slowly rising to her feet, the small girl slowly stepped behind the young man. Contemplating what move would shock him the least, since fighting his giant robot would be disastrous, the girl finally came to an answer. Stepping off with one foot, the girl bumped her back into the backrest of his chair, gaze facing the balcony doors. Her amber eyes went to the sky, as the girl's hair began transitioning back to black. “She was a fake, you know? Programmed to be my father's greatest fighter, the thing to ensure his legacy lasted forever.”
Her statement was open-ended, but would doubtless hit the inventor hard. The words could only lead to one conclusion, one that would definitely hurt the inventor.

FORGIVE BUT DON'T FORGET L.E.O | CARRO
LEO'S PL: 32,000 | CARRO'S PL: 10
"uuUAAA-!!" Carro yelped and recoiled back, falling right off his chair at the sound of Amber's voice and smacking the ground face-first. The saiyan fell still, giving a quick mumble and groan as his hands pushed at the ground, raising his torso and now bruised face off the floor. LEO had jolted as well, energy beginning to hiss and crackle in her mouth to defend her creator. Still, as Carro got back to his feet, he'd put a hand on her larger nose to gesture for the feline to close her mouth. Tenatively, the mecha would oblige with a hiss, eyes still narrowed and scanning Amber. "Yeah, yeah, I get how you machine-folk work and all." Carro rubbed his bruised cheek, still unfaltering.
"Something artificial versus something organic or whatever else you're probably referring to doesn't make the former fake, y'know. It exists. That's enough for me." He forced a small smile despite his pained eyes. "Do you think I've forgotten the good times because something bad happened or something?" The saiyan rolled his eyes, leaning back against the balcony banister and glancing up at the stars above. "I said it before. I'm not giving up on you. I forgive you. What happened happened, and while I can't change it, I can accept it and move on with my life and try to help and stuff."
Carro had been trying to move on past Garon's death- there was nothing he could do to help the Doragon now. But perhaps there was something he could still do to help Amber, despite his continued heartache over the first loss... "I mean, c'mon. I'm looking to help the both of you in there, I guess. What you're doing isn't... right." If Carro wanted to help his Amber, the one he saw before and the one who tried to stop her and whatever this AI or soul or whatever was that was also in there, he'd need to help her too. Maybe have them make up or something. "Whatever, I want to know- what is it I would need to do to help fix you? Or something. I'unno how to word it." He turned his gaze back to Amber with a quick shrug of his shoulders, a few beads of sweat still trickling down the fatherly saiyan's forehead as he still internally prayed for the best despite expecting the worst.

The girl simply watched in silence as the young man fell out his chair in disarray. While he rose to his feet and his mech growled ominously, the girl turned to face him completely. She listened while he spoke, nodding with each solid point he made. Amber couldn't deny anything he said, as he laid out his true emotions. When he looked to the stars and finished his speech about acceptance and helping Amber. “What I see...is a selfish man. You don't want to accept that everything you saw was a fake, even when I verified it for you. That girl, all of her actions, words, and emotions...they were all formulated to gain the attention and adoration of those who could support her in her journey to becoming an immortal legacy. Your words prove it even further; you only knew that Amber for a few weeks, at most a month and some change...yet you say you still want to help. I know what I'm doing is wrong. I'm fully aware that my actions each day going forward will only further alienate me from those people she fought so hard to win onto her side. I don't need fake friends who only loved Amber for her good heart and impossible dream.” The girl's gaze fell to the ground, as silence reigned between the two. When Carro asked the fatal question, Amber's gaze turned hard. The girl stifled a laugh, before she pushed away from the chair. Stepping forward, looking directly at the Saiyan man. Her gaze was full of loathing and regret, as she whispered softly. “I fought tooth and nail in my heart to escape the clutches of that robot. You think I'd want to 'fix' that rend? I'm finally free, Carro. Free to pursue my own, messed up dream. You can't understand how important that is to me, as a living, breathing girl. My actions are my own, not something for an unknown entity to deign for me. So...how can I make you give up on me, Carro?”
