Vegeta's one sun beat down on the wastelands, it's malevolent red gaze unblinking. There were no clouds to soften the harsh heat, no shade or respite anywhere to be seen for miles- save for one distant, ruined city. With that, a stray Namekian far from his home travelled through the rubble and broken asphalt, through endless plies of dismembered buildings that sprouted small, shriveled purple and poisonous vines from the ground beyond. Against the wall of the old court house was a battered hoverbike, the chain dangling on the sidewalk. Ahead was the clock tower, forever stuck at half past noon.
"AAANYONE 'ERE?!" Radula rang out- he only recently landed here with his brothers. After some exploring and rest with his siblings, the ever so adventurous middle sibling wandered off on his own into the nearby ruined city, his attuned ears pickup up every little sound- the breeze and brush of shriveled tumbleweeds, dust blown in the air, and the occasional skittering of one of the saiba-creatures that had adapted to live in these corrupted lands.
With a sigh, the Warrior would slump and sit down atop some rubble, eyeing the cloudy purple air. The fumes had briefly parted above to reveal the red skies, still watching and beating down heat. How other Namekians lived and thrived here was beyond Radula- he could barley go ten minutes without taking a glug from his stored water. Still, the alien would sigh, his gaze panning about the seemingly vacant lands. Nobody was here- yet.
It was in the middle of the morning, and as the red sun bathed down on the broken ruins of the Tuffle civilization, Chilipea could be seen running around, holding a white scouter on her ear while laughing giddily. Much like the other times she was introduced to a new invention and fallen in love over it, this was the day her World Trade Fleet scouter had finally arrived in the mail, and now the Saiyan woman was enjoying using her Scouter, both to check her own Power Level, and also to check the Power Levels of others, whether it was of the lowly saiba-creatures across the landscape, or the average everyday citizens of Vegeta.
"379... 230... man, these scouter numbers so fun for me! Oooh, is that a Power Level of 2000? That's a power slightly higher than Chilipea! Makes me curious..."
Flying off in the direction of the powerful reading, Chilipea eventually hid behind a rock as she ended up seeing a Namekian in the distance, who was known as Radula. While Chilipea had heard of Namekians before and had known of their mystical powers, she had never seen on up close before, and while she was disappointed that they looked nothing like she had imagined, she was mostly still curious on why the Namekian was here. After all, during the invasion on Namek she thought all the Vegeta-born Namekians had fled to Earth, rather than staying on Vegeta.
Regardless on whether or not Chilipea found the Namekian weird or not, she did not have the time to greet him, as at that moment a rather large Saiba worm had emerged from the ground, in front of the Namekian. Quickly throwing out her Muddy Arms, the Saiyan lady ran quickly before grabbing the Saiba worm from behind and then using her Chili Pounder to send the worm flying off. While she was unsure whether or not the worm would survive, Chilipea at least sighed in relief, knowing that she probably had saved someone who was just checking the planet.
Turning on her scouter however, Chilipea was slightly surprised to see that the high power was coming from the Namekian herself, causing the chubby Saiyan's cheeks to turn slightly red. Bowing a bit in respect, Chilipea eventually said to the Namekian "Sorry for wild creatures out here in the wild. Me had experience with them once before, and they are rather annoying, though recently me learn all their powers are very low thanks to this cool device called Scouter. Anyway, me's name is Chilipea, and me glad to see another visitor to Vegeta. The last one me saw was a pretty bad Saiyan guy, he beat me so bad he sent Chilipea to hospital. Me at least hope you end up being a good person on Vegeta though."
"CRIKEY!" Radula found himself swiftly standing up at the sight of a weird worm- but he didn't have much time to think of the creature before an apparent saiyan dashed out of nowhere, tossing the poor thing right into the air! "Worm, no!" Radula slumped over. Kind as he was, the Namekian couldn't help but to feel bad for the creature that was now far out of sight and sense- maybe it just wanted some food or something! Even if it wanted to take a bite out of Radula himself, he could have fed it and made friends and had a nice time and--...
The Namekian shook his head and brought a hand to his face to smack himself back to reality. A saiyan was here, and she was his hesitant focus for now, despite Radula's gaze sometimes glancing back in the direction of the thrown worm. She spoke with a strange and primitive dialect, but it was nothing too unusual since from aside from the occasional "me" instead of "I", her speech was rather normal. Tilting his head to the side, Radula would force a meek smile in response to the saiyan after her bow and rant. "Aye, no worries, kiddo- I'm just an ol' normal Namek, no need for the formality." He explained with a chuckle, deciding to keep the fact that he was from the long lost Planet Namek under the rug for now. "But, er... Correct me if I'm wrong, but ain't you a saiyan too, aye? Yer all like, on the same side, right?" Radula couldn't imagine a saiyan not on the side of their home planet. Then again, they were a rambunctious bunch- maybe her injury was from a spar gone too far.
