Tarch was glad to get off the topic of painful memories and their current scars, as he hopped up to grab a small capsule from his bag. With a quick click and a puff of smoke, the locker containing the armor and bodysuit. He was about to put it on right then and there, nearly forgetting his not so familiar mother was in the room. The teen gave her a quick look of small shock, then quickly dashed to the bathroom, the legs of his black suit trailing behind him. A few minutes would pass as Tarch struggled to remember just how the chest piece was meant to be worn, the stretchiness always slipping his mind. While he changed he thought about what his mom said about having Mr. Vocado over. Certainly not the worst idea for the two to meet, but maybe in a more open area? “Yeah, that’s a good idea, then he can show you that he’s really IS a king,” the hybrid called from the bathroom.
Luckily Kohlra wouldn’t be kept waiting too long before her son would come bouncing out, donned in his blue plated armor, the shoulders completely open save for the straps and the black skin tight sleeves. The leg plates were slightly crooked, and the boy did forget the wrist guards in the bathroom, but in his excitement, he was not exactly concerned with getting the look perfect. “So… What do ya think? It looks like it’d be uncomfortable but this stuff fits like a glove and feels like it's never in the way.” Almost all trepidation passed, as if putting on his saiyan armor not only protected his body but covered him emotionally as well.

The saiyan woman watched as her son went ahead and pulled out a capsule from his bag, crossing her arms as she watched him go ahead and make a locker appear in the middle of her room. She blinked a few times as he went ahead and began putting it on, until he finally realized that she was just... standing there. A chuckle escaped Kohlra as she saw him run into the bathroom, shaking her head. Man, he was a funny kid… She went on ahead and sat back down on the couch while she waited on Tarch to put his armor on, a smirk forming on her lips after hearing him shout from the bathroom. “I bet he will, Tarch. I bet he will…” A king here on Earth? Nonsense! Why would the king of saiyans be here on Earth and not on Vegeta?
Kohlra continued waiting, until finally Tarch would come out from the bathroom! She would physically cringe at the sight of his armor, knowing full well that it wasn’t on right. “It’s… nice, but you got it on wrong.” The saiyan said before getting up and walking over to her son. “First off, your leg plates are a little off. Second, you forgot you forgot your wrist guards…” She would then go ahead and begin adjusting his armor, starting off by straightening the plates on his knees. “… My parents used to wear these sort of things whenever I was little. It didn’t look all crooked and awkward like yours is right now.” She teased, grinning. The woman would stop whenever she was finished straightening out his armor, getting up and looking down at the young boy. “… You look great in saiyan gear by the way."

Tarch could not help but feel embarrassed, even if this woman was only recently reintroduced into his life, he was still a teenager getting help from his mother. Clearly, teens don’t need help from parents anymore no matter how young they were right? However, this did bring to mind what Vocado taught him about his tail, and how it really improved the look all together. So with a cheeky grin at Kohlra’s complement, Tarch wrapped his tail around his waist, looking like a brown furry belt. “Thank you!”
After quickly running back to the locker to pull out his ocean blue light wrist guards, Tarch would hope back onto the sofa, still beaming with pride at not only his new armor but his mother's approval. Even as strange as it was to hear a stranger treat him like family, the teen still felt the same warmth from Kohlra that he got from Suda, even if it was a much stranger and different kind of warmth. “Do you have any armor?” Tarch queried. To be honest, he wasn’t entirely comfortable with this person being his mother just yet, but at least know he was more than willing to put in a true effort

Honestly she had mix feelings about him wearing this sort of armor. She remembered whenever her parents wore this during training, while she instead wore a t-shirt and shorts. Each training session she did with her parents normally ended up with her being beaten and bruised, having nothing to protect her from bodily harm. She blinked a few times after Tarch thanked her, getting pulled away from her thoughts. Kohlra immediately noticed that his tail was now wrapped around his waist, a slight smirk forming on her lips. “Oh hey, you know the whole tail thing too… Nice job, kid.”
She soon went ahead and sat back down on the couch, huffing quietly once Tarch ran back to his locker. Soon enough he would come back and join her on the couch, smiling whenever she noticed him carrying his wrist guards. The smile faded however once he asked her if she had armor, shaking her head. “Nope… My parents never gave me any armor whenever I was little. I had to earn the right to wear that kind of armor, which meant I had to beat my parents on a 1-on-2 battle. Obviously I haven’t earned the right… so yeah.” She said, looking down and sighing.

Tarch’s cheeks burned a slight crimson when his mother pointed out his tail knowledge. He was still embarrassed about the faceplant he made into the tree in his backyard. “Ahaha, yeah… Mr. Vocado taught me that on the hard way… Luckily,” the teen whenever he got past his initial shyness, loved to show off, and couldn’t help but present his mother with something he honestly believed would make her proud. He took a deep breath, unraveling his length of brown fur and relaxing the muscles. He’d then give his tail a rough squeeze, but was unfazed past the initial trepidation. “It actually doesn’t hurt anymore whenever someone grabs it.”
Kohlra also went a little more into her childhood, telling her son how she was never able to ‘earn’ her own set of armor. Tarch had always tried to be as respectful as possible to adults, his father was sure to teach him that, but he also believed in treating others how you wanted to be treated. Unfortunately, or possibly lucky for them, his birth grandparents weren’t exactly nearby as far as the hybrid could tell. So he settled with a mild insult, making himself comfortable on the couch. “You’re parents are jerks.” It was blunt, it was downtrodden, and it probably explained why Kohlra didn’t stick around. If nothing else about his mother's situation, Tarch could tell that her upbringing would likely not make for a star parent, to say the least. Tarch was already comfortable enough around this woman, and he had already called her ‘mom’ once naturally. Maybe he really could get used to this. Having two mothers, both tough in their own right, and warm in their own ways, each one leaning more towards one than the other.
Tarch squirmed his armor despite its simplicity not being the most comfortable to relax on a sofa with. So he’d slip off the more sturdy pieces, leaving on the black bodysuit. The teen looked out the window, surprised at how dark it was already. So he’d pull himself underneath a blanket, being sure to snuggle himself into the corner of the couch where he could easily fall asleep to the tv. “Y’know, we could maybe have Vocado get you a set, I mean he IS a king after all,” Tarch would joke, knowing his mother still was skeptical about the whole royalty bit.

The hard way, huh? She couldn’t help but let out a short chuckle after hearing that, remembering the time when her parents tail trained her. Her parents would force her to do various tasks while her tail was grabbed, such as lifting boulders or doing 5-mile jogs… or lifting a boulder while doing a 5-mile jog. The woman grinned once she saw Tarch go ahead and grab at his tail, giving him a nod of approval. “Well, I’m glad he taught you. But here’s the real question, since you have that tail of yours, ya can go oozaru. Know what an oozaru is?” No matter if he knew or not, she would go ahead and ask her next question. “Do you know how to control it? ‘Cause if you went through tail training, I expect you to know how to control it… so do you know how to?”
She shook her head after hearing his insult towards her parents, laughing quietly. “Yeah, I guess you can call them that. But ya gotta respect them either way, no matter how hard they work you. I hated my parents with a burning passion as I grew up, but soon learned to… appreciate them in the later years of my life.” Kohlra said, letting out a short sigh. “They made me who I am today. Hell, if it wasn’t for them kicking me out, I wouldn’t have met your dad and have you. Yeah, I wasn’t around and all that… but I’ll make it up to ya starting this week. We’ll both go to the beach, train together, and have ourselves some fun tomorrow.”
Kohlra looked at her son curiously whenever he went and got out of his armor, but smiled as she saw him get under a blanket. She would look out the window as well, a little surprised too once she saw how dark it was. Tarch’s mother would let out a quiet sigh before getting herself off the couch, “Yeah, maybe he could give me a set once we have our meeting. Anyways, I’m gonna head off to bed, and you should do the same. We’re training first thing in the morning, so get all the rest ya need.” She said, going ahead and giving his head a couple of pats. “Goodnight.” After that, she would go into her room for the rest of the night.
