Van-80 looked at his phone confused. Why on earth would Sulfur ever want to see him again? More importantly, how could he possibly face her after what he did? His gaze shot down to his left hand, a metal skeleton compared to his original limb. “Ima!” he called out, hoping his partner was not as mad as he hoped. No answer. Either she was still giving him the cold shoulder or she was just not home. Unfortunately, a few minutes of silence gave way to another far less welcome voice.

“She went out, something I can help you with Vaney?” A Pr1de clone, just what he needed. This particular Pr1de was a very tan female, sporting long brown hair, a bit more plain than the usual Pr1de clone Van saw from day to day.

Van just rolled his eyes, returning to his phone screen. He supposed video games had a certain beauty in of themselves, perhaps a more casual visit to the avali would do the both of them some good. Of course, Pride was now peering over his shoulder, trying to read the message for themselves. “Ohh,” the breathed, “The little birdy’s having a party huh? Mind if we tag along?”

Vanity just sighed, rubbing his face exhausted. He knew no matter what he said they were going to come whether he liked it or not. “Fine, pick out a good body and behave though will you?” The prideful android did an actual jump for joy before wringing an arm around Van-80’s neck.

“Y’know Vaney, I thought of the perfect body to bring over…” The pretty boy quickly shrugged the female off him, throwing her a deathly glare. There was no way in hell he was fusing with them unless he absolutely had to. “Oh come now, I meant my original body. Well, the one based on my original look. As if I’d ever risk letting the original sin ourselves get scuffed.” Again Van didn’t speak, just groaned annoyedly as he already heads out the door.

As it turned out, Sulfur didn’t live too far away, which in all honesty made sense considering she too was a Crop Co employee. He still couldn’t get over how much of a state the both of them were last they saw one another. Even know Van had yet to physically recover, the black glove on his left hand hiding the proof. In fact the beauty obsessed android looked much more subtle than usual, wearing a pair of normal jeans and a black hoodie despite the warm weather. Pr1de, of course, was the exact opposite. In their original look, they wore a tight fitting flashy shirt and smooth white pants, which Van was always sure to remind them how he hoped they spilled a glass of wine on them. Of course, even with a tight shirt, they were completely androgynous, their pale blue hair coupled with their lithely toned body made it difficult to tell what they were.

As the two drew near to the destination, they couldn’t help but find a familiar female android waiting nervously at the door. “Ima?”

She jumped, not expecting to see either of her partners, especially the mutual enemy. “Van-80,” she breathed respectfully.

“What are you doing here?”

“Well, I am Crop Co too you know.” Of course, it would make sense for Ima to have been texted as well. The two didn’t say much else after that, only stared at the door awkwardly.

“Oh, you cowards! Let me do it.” So with reckless abandon, they had come to expect of the android, Pride banged on the door with no regard for the loud noise that could easily be disturbing the peace.
