THE ROYAL RUMBLE ABOVE THE CLOUDS | Kanrin's PL: 1,500 | | Polaire's PL: 84,900 (Base 14,150 - x6 Modifier) |
"WELCOME, one and all, to the first annual Other World Royal Rumble!" called the announcer, an ogre in a formal suit with a prim and proper bow-tie to match. The small, but spirited crowd cheered and whistled their approval, as yet more spectators began to fill up the stands. This was the first of these competitions, and so naturally, people were curious. What else are you going to spend your Afterlife doing if not watching fights?
The arena was laid out in a familiar, Earthling manner, with rows and rows of staggered benches serving as the stands, raising up at least fifteen rows on each side. Without a proper stadium to fall back on, the entire area had to be built from the ground up, and as a result most of the scaffolding used to hammer together the stands was still in place, and the skeletal structure of wooden supports beneath them were covered up with little more than rows of red and white fabric. The arena floor itself was where things differentiated from the norm: rather than the usual small, tiled surface for fighting, this arena instead had a wide surface more akin to a baseball pitch. Littered throughout were rocks and raised pillars, even an artificial river running through the middle of it. They were only minor obstacles meant to freshen up the experience: the real kicker was its very size, meant to allow for a larger number of competitors to compete at once. Already, a dozen or so fighters had made their way onto the field, various fallen martial artists and ogres backed by their respective trainers. Most weren't particularly notable, save for one: a blue and white Arcosian perched atop one of the arena pillars, resting at full-power in his true form. If his drooping eyelids were any indication, he didn't particularly want to be here.
"The rules are simple!" the announcer called out again, drawing the attention of the would-be competitors this time. "There's no time-limit, no ring-outs, and no order whatsoever. All competitors will enter the arena at the same time, and fight amongst each-other to be the last one standing! It doesn't matter if you eliminate ten opponents or just one, as long as you're the one upright when the dust settles... you win!"
The announcer paused a moment, before adding, "... and once you're knocked out, you're out! No re-entering the fight. We'll be watching."
As the competitors and crowd digested the rather simple rule-set, the competition's organizer stepped up to the announcer's podium to speak himself. At his diminutive height, he had to step up onto a little box to even see over the podium, but his pink skin and over-sized staff were an easy enough marker to those that knew him, even from afar. "This is, of course, a competition..." Kanrin spoke, in a quiet tone that was nonetheless projected across the arena. "And as such, we want to make sure the winner walks away with a suitable prize. That's why the sole survivor will receive a custom-crafted set of battle-armor. And a trophy, I suppose."
"The tournament will start in a couple of minutes. The rest of you who are entering -- please do so now."
Tournament time! Sort of.
The rules are pretty standard to what was said in-post: it's just a big scrap between everyone who joins to crown a winner. There are minor NPC opponents, but naturally none of them are actually a match for the player characters and mostly serve as flavour to be knocked out in the first handful of posts in the competition. Kanrin's minion will also participate just to help fill the thread.
There's no limit to the amount of people who can enter, but I'll keep the entrants listed in edits to this thread just for ease of viewing. The winner WILL indeed receive a set of Battle Armor. First round will just be people showing up, then we can move to the fight.
Entrants: 1. Polaire (Kanrin's Minion)

There was no better way to prove you were the best than by entering and winning a tournament! And, naturally, given that she was definitely the best, Erva had to enter. It was like a legal obligation, basically. Not that heaven really had a law like that, of course; Erva just acted like it did. Of course, being the small and generally pretty frail Shinjin that she was, she couldn't enter herself. That was where Majin Uspo came in! "A chance to prove myself against other worthy opponents?" He'd asked in response to Erva telling him about the tournament, a growing smile on his face. "Of course!" she said back with her usual confidence. "These guys all died, but you didn't die, so clearly you've been doing something better than the rest of 'em - they won't stand a chance against you!"
That was just about all it had taken. Of course, Erva had to join with him. Otherwise, she wouldn't get any of the credit for what would technically be her win! Plus, she could heal him and tell him other contenders' power levels, which would probably come in handy. Seated atop his shoulder, the two walked into the arena a little bit after the majority of the competitors did. Uspo had been eager to get out first, but Erva urged him to hang back for a moment, as "they always save the best for last." Once she finally gave him the go ahead to run out into the battlefield, he walked ahead out into the light, waving around at the roaring crowd with a beaming smile on his face. Erva waved as well, though she wasn't quite as visibly excited as her Majin friend. She was excited, of course, but she couldn't let it show too much: the best contenders never lose their cool, after all.
Using her energy sensing to get a look at the signatures of most of the competition, Erva couldn't help but let out a snicker. "Small fry," she muttered over into Majin Uspo's ear. "You'll mop the floor with these goons, you're like a thousand times stronger than all of 'em." Her assessment remained unchallenged, until she finally focused in on one particular Arcosian who had perched himself up atop a pillar in the arena "Whoa," she muttered, nudging the side of the orange blob's head and pointing up towards the space lizard. "That guy up there is strong as heck, actually, I think his offensive power might even be enough to blast through your squishy defenses." Majin Uspo seemed unimpressed, however. "Let him try," he confidently stated, crossing his arms over his chest. "I've yet to see one who can possibly pierce my squishy skin!" "What about that blue cat guy?" "He... Doesn't count."

Yogu's PL: 65,194
Yogu had been awake for hours, training as hard as he possibly could. When Yogu put on his dogi and went to leave, he left Kanrin's training room a complete mess of broken equipment. On his way out, he stopped for a moment, went back into the training room, and grabbed a Kendo Stick. "I guess there isn't really any better opportunity than now to try to test out transferring ki into a weapon!" So, with the Kendo Stick strapped to his back, he calmly left Kanrin's home/training facility and made his way to the tournament that Kanrin said he was hosting. Yogu had decided to save his energy and walk to the arena. When he got there he was amazed. " Woahhh... That place looks like it can fit a lot of people..." Yogu was starting to get nervous, he hadn't ever had a bunch of people watching him as he fought. The idea of it freaked him out. " I can't back down because of stage fright! I gotta get in there! I have to use this as a chance to train!" With that motivational talk to himself done, Yogu filed in with the rest of the spectators. Looking at the group of spectators, he saw a lot of people looking like they want to participate. After stumbling around the stands for a few minutes, he took a seat and watched as the very well dressed Ogre came out and explained the rules of the tournament. The concept of the tournament got really excited! " A complete free-for-all?! This is gonna be awesome!" He looked around the stands for anyone he recognized. He didn't see anyone, aside from that Shinjin that was at Yanwang's birthday. She was buddied up with an orange Majin and was pointing out an Arcosian that was perched atop a pillar. The Arcosian seemed really serious, already out in his final form. Sensing both the Majin and the Arcosians energy, Yogu's jaw dropped. " WOOOAH! I forgot just how strong Arcosians and Majins are... This is gonna be really hard!" Then, Kanrin came out to talk about the reward for winning. The set of battle-armor didn't really interest Yogu, but it was the Trophy that got him really excited to start the tournament. " Oooh! I bet it's going to be massive, and made of solid gold! It's going to look so cool on that desk in my room!" Once Kanrin finishes his speech, Yogu stands to his feet and jumps from the stands! He lands right in front of the podium, " Hey Kanrin! I'm here to join! This is where I go to sign up, right...?"

Tournaments, generally, were pretty good to partake him: although the standard way of doing them didn’t display the truths of skill as well as a round robin tournament would, they still had their merits in finding a rough (though often inaccurate) answer to the age-old question, ‘who’s the strongest?’. But, despite their merits, they were not truly representative of the battles one would actually be facing. And what Nashi really needed was not confirmation as to his strength— he’d just talk to one of the Shinjin for that— but practice and training in a scenario perhaps even vaguely similar to the Corruption of Satan City.
A bunch of people, none sure if they can rely on any other, all trying to defeat their enemies from all angles, all for a mighty prize? That, he reckoned, was close enough. Needless to say, he was entering! Though, he thought, something about it seemed distinctly familiar. Everyone on their own, all trying to be the last one standing? It sounded like the premise of a particularly bad video game.
Ey, it looks like Uspo’s entering! Nashi was glad, he was in wanting of a rematch. There was also Yogu, who he also wanted to have another match-up against, a few other MacBoring Boringtons, and one of those evil space lizards. Regardless, in general, it seemed there were plenty of other decently powerful-looking combatants!
The Senbyō, if he could still accurately be given such a title, was already in the ring. The prize… Nashi could hardly contain his excitement. He didn’t care about the trophy, he was prolly gonna give that to Yogu if he won, but the battle armour? That sounded really cool!

The Royal Rumble Above the Clouds Garon's PL: 31 (32,030/suppressed) Ace's PL: N/A (NPC)
"Mithil, what are you doing.""Nothing. Juuuust going on a testing out the thing.", Garon said, totally not playing the pronoun game. There was just one, tiny problem. This "test run" was going to be in an arena filled with fighters who could match the Hydrogan suit with ease, not to mention they could break Garon's kneecaps should the armor fail. Ace's hand slid across his face. "And where, exactly, are you going to do this?.", Ace asked. "Mmmmm...nowhere?", Garon said, obviously lying. Ace looked behind Garon and noticed what the Doragon was hiding behind his back - a poster for some tournament called the "Other World Royal Rumble". "...you're an idiot.", Ace said. Garon shrugged Ace's warning off and continued to make preparations. "If you wanted to run test runs then we could do that back at the lab. There's no need to unnecessarily enter some tournament just so you can try out the- I'll be fine.", Garon interrupted. "Besides, worst case scenario it fails and I get punted outta the arena or something. And uh, isn't the whole 'beating other fighters thing' kinda the point?". Garon had a point. He'd been developing "the thing" with Ace for quite awhile now, and (most) of the test runs had been successful. And where Garon saw opportunity, Ace saw danger. "Yes, that's true. But you have to make sure the thing works before we start doing that kind of stuff. Despite what you want to think, it's still a prototype, Mithil.". "Yeah, and the 'prototype' has been kickin' ass since day 1. If it worked yesterday, it'll sure as hell work today.", he said. "Tell Glutts I'll be gone for like, an hour or so. I'm out.".
When Garon got to the arena it was...definitely not what he expected. It was sort of like most of the arenas on Earth, but the fighting grounds were a lot larger and obstacle-filled. And as soon as he got there, right off the bat he began to notice people he'd known. Erva was here (for some reason) with some Majin guy he'd never seen before. Yogu and Nashi were there too, although Garon didn't pay either of them much attention. His attention was directed towards his prize - a custom crafted set of battle armor. Did he have any use for it? No. But it sure as hell looked cool, and he wanted it. Garon's eyes darted towards Erva, who seemed to be having a pep talk with her Majin friend. She did know that there could only be one winner, right? Regardless, the Doragon approached her and his friend. "Hey. Erva. That armor's mine.", Garon said with his pitifully low power level. Who did he think he was?

THE ROYAL RUMBLE IN THE CLOUDS | Kanrin's PL: 1,500 | | Polaire's PL: 84,900 (Base 14,150 - x6 Modifier) |
Kanrin hopped down from his position on the podium just as Yogu landed. After straightening himself out and returning to his usual pose with his staff tucked behind his back, he offered the young fighter a cheerful smile. "No need to sign up! As long as you're here before the cut-off time, which is..." he mimed looking at an invisible watch. "In about thirty seconds. Then you're good! So just head down into the ring and do your best."
The Shinjin offered a nod before turning to walk off, making his way over towards the stands to spectate. While he might have been the patron of the tournament, he was little more than a spectator now that it was getting going. "Oh -- I should say," he glanced back at Yogu. "Although I am entirely unbiased, I'll be rooting for you to win."
As Kanrin moved away, the ogre returned to the podium and waved to the crowd to silence them. Most people paid his gesture no heed, but he proceeded all the same. "Thank you, one and all for coming to the Other World Royal Rumble! To the competitors -- fight hard and honour King Yemma with your actions. You never know who might be watching!" he flashed a cheeky grin over those gathered. A few of the weaker fighters were visibly affected by the comment, their eyes scanning the crowd for a hint of a certain important dignitary. Of course, it was patently obvious that Yemma was not in attendance to most everyone else. "Without further ado, let the match begin!"
---
Below in the arena itself, Polaire watched the gathering competitors with palpable disinterest. His tail beat against the pillar behind him, a monotonous rhythm playing tune to his boredom. His eyes fell first upon the small Shinjin and her Majin companion, and he just broke into a sneer. "Maybe you should step out and let your balloon fight this one alone. This is no place for children." His eyes darted over to Nashi and Yogu in turn, a trace of recognition from reputation alone prompting him to offer a curt nod... and then Garon walked up to Erva. He huffed with annoyance. "Oh good. Another one."
And we're off!

ERVA'S PL: 50 | MAJIN USPO'S PL: 28,750/86,250

ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: Dai Majin (x1/x3P)
|
Erva's confidence in Majin Uspo's ability wavered a fair bit as she noticed more and more powerful competitors enter the ring. First there was Yogu, and hoo boy, that was a high energy signature. Erva didn't think she'd actually seen one that high before without someone transforming into a more powerful form, and by all appearances, the human was just sitting there in his standard form. "Uh, watch out for that guy," Erva warned her Majin, pointing towards the human with black hair. "He's... Strong."
Next came a familiar face, the blue cat boy that Erva and Uspo had helped with training a while back. What was his name again? ...Nashua? ...No, Nashi, that was it! He was a fair bit stronger than when he and Uspo had sparred, but Majin Uspo was no pushover either! "Oh, I know him!" Majin Uspo commented, waving his arm wildly in the air towards Nashi like he was an excited fan of the Earthling's. "Hi, Nashi! Good luck!" he shouted, but stopped when Erva elbowed the side of his head. "Don't cheer for the competition!" she scolded, but her words didn't seem to have much effect, as Uspo was still grinning widely towards the cat and shot him a thumbs up. He was just too excited about getting the chance to prove himself against the cat.
The last competitor of note was the Doragon that Erva had eaten lunch with a little while back - none other than Garon! He wasn't noteworthy for his energy signature, though. That was actually lower than Erva's, somehow. What was more noteworthy was how he approached Erva and her Majin and decided to taunt the pair to their faces. "Is this guy strong or something?" Uspo asked Erva in slight confusion as he looked down at the little man. "Uh, no, he's actually weaker than me," she muttered back to him before replying, more loudly, to Garon, "We'll see about that, Doragon boy!" she taunted back. "I don't know if you've noticed, but even I could kick your ass with how strong you are."
The Arcosian above seemed to share her sentiments about Garon being out of his league, but when he taunted Erva too, the Shinjin wasn't having it anymore. "What! I am thirteen hundred years old! I am not a child!" she yelled back like a pouting child. She was going to do some more taunting, but it sounded like the announcer had declared the fighting was allowed to begin. "Alright, let's do this!" she shouted, "Uspo, use tackle!" The Majin complied, bouncing himself ahead and trying to slam straight into Garon. May as well knock the weakest one out first, he figured.

Kanrin steps down from the podium and explains that as long as Yogu was in the arena in thirty seconds, he would be in the tournament. " Thanks for letting me know! I'll head over right now!" Yogu begins to walk away, but Kanrin mentions that he'd be rooting for the rebellious fighter to win. Yogu turns back around and gives Kanrin a thumbs up. " I'll do my best to make you proud Kanrin! Thanks to the training at your place, I'll be sure to win the tournament!" Yogu then turns back around and runs to the arena. Yogu hops into the arena just as the fashionable ogre announces the beginning of the free-for-all. Immediately, the arena turns into a full-on war zone! People are fighting left and right, making it a little difficult for Yogu to lock onto the energies of the people of interest. But, he already knew who he wanted to go for first. Once he managed to find the energy of his target, Yogu steps away from the edge of the arena, entering the middle of the massive brawl. Within a matter of moments, Yogu was getting attacked. A man charged at him, swinging a wild punch! Yogu sidesteps and knees him in the stomach, causing him to collapse in pain. He then picks the man up and throws him at the closest fighter, putting them in a small pile. " That was easy enough, just gotta not use up too much energy and save my stamina for the actually strong enemies." Yogu jumps over two other fighters locked in a battle, and his target comes into view. " Hey, Nashi!"

"Hi Uspo!" He was excited to see some familiar faces, even if he was prolly gonna be punching 'em.. or, perhaps also, being punched in the face by them. Er, the competitors! He wasn't expecting to be punched by any faces. That'd be weird...
There was another dude there too. Nashi, for a moment, thought he had seen the dude before, but... well, he just couldn't place it.
"Hey Yargl— I mean, Yo!" Nailed it.
And then? Chaos. AKA Order's irresponsible brother.
It was a bit overwhelming, really. Was he supposed to be entering that massive mob of punches? Hmm. Rather, he stuck to where he was in his martial stance, waiting for someone to come up to him to get punched up.
Oh, look, there's one!
A dude got punched out of the arena.
"... Oh..." Maybe someone a bit stronger next time? Or not. Whatever.
I'm supposed to be not posting, but I really want that Armor. So, barebones posts it is!

Garon couldn't help but grin when Erva mentioned the large power gap between him and her. He almost felt as if not giving her some warning as to what would inevitably happen would be rude. "Y'know uh, that thing that you said when we first met has been stuck in my head. Something about helping myself.", he said to the Shinjin. "And if I'm being honest, I had absolutely zero fucking ideas on how to go about doing that. But the past few weeks have been... a pretty wild ride-". Garon was about to say something else, but he heard some Arcosian talking shit him, Erva, and her Majin friend. "Watch it, short stuff!", Garon yelled to make sure that he could hear him while he was so ominously leaning on that pillar like some kind of edgelord. "Only one of us can win, and it'd be a reallll shame if 'Another One' knocked you out!"
But Garon had more immediate opponents to deal with: Erva and her friend. The two of them seemed more than ready to rumble, and when the announcer Shinjin person gave the green light, he was their first target. "If Shinjin are supposed to be teachers and stuff, then you're making a really bad mistake...", Garon mumbled. But odds were, his words would be futile in trying to stop the duo, who had just tried charging into the Doragon for an early KO. But instead of launching Garon like a rock in a slingshot, Majin Uspo would most likely be surprised by what happened next."NEVER judge a book by its cover!"
Almost instantly, Uspo would be met with great resistance in trying to tackle the Doragon down, as Garon had raised his arms up to defend...and wasn't budging. The once defenseless teenager was now donning a new suit of armor - one that he'd spent what felt like forever modifying, improving from the previous model. Instead of wearing clunky pieces of metal, Garon now wore a nearly skin-tight dark navy blue suit, save for his gloves and leggings which stayed mostly the same. His helmet went through the most changes, now showing off a blue, glass visor with glowing, fierce yellow eyes that were not Garon's own. White horns curved from the top of the helmet to the back, with the cracks glowing an eerie blue. The guy had gone from a dead Doragon to a glow-in-the-dark action figure in a shockingly small amount of time.
"Cool, right?", Garon said, his voice now being filtered by the microphone he was speaking into. "A pal of mine's been helpin' me out with it. The suit's gone through a whole bunch of upgrades so it can do a whole bunch of cool stuff...like this!". Silver pads that were located on Garon's back lit up, and without warning blue jets of fire began to stream from them. Slowly but surely, the Doragon would gain speed and attempt to turn the tables on Uspo by pushing him back faster and faster as the jets got stronger and stronger. "I wonder how far I can push these things!", Garon said. If Uspo didn't do anything, Garon would continue pushing the Majin at an alarmingly fast rate straight into a nearby pillar.
The first prototype of the Hydrogan Suit MK. II makes its debut! Aiming to catch Uspo off guard and ram him into a nearby pillar that ISN'T the one Polaire is standing by.

THE ROYAL RUMBLE IN THE CLOUDS | Polaire's PL: 84,900 (Base 14,150 - x6 Modifier) |
Polaire lifted off of the pillar as the fighting commenced around him. It seemed most of the more noteworthy individuals had already found their partners, but this was a free-for-all: and he certainly wasn't going to wait while everyone else built momentum. He tilted forward and rushed down towards a pair of competitors, ogres who seemed to know each-other given the insults they were calling out in between punches. As they moved in, he swept down and grabbed each by the back of the head, slamming them together in one, swift move. Both were knocked solidly unconscious by the move, and he casually tossed each out of the ring in turn to clear them from the battlefield.
He turned again, surveying those he judged to be his real threats. He would need to pick one to target -- and he found it. This tournament was awash in noble, dead fighters, but for whatever reason -- that Shinjin had chosen to come to the field herself. He swept around to try to get behind her and raised his finger, a tiny orb of white energy forming. He lifted his hand just enough to snap his wrist, firing the energy from his fingertip as if it was a gun. It shot towards Erva in a straight line, threatening (if she was left unawares) to hit her dead in the back.
Although the attack itself was of Kanrin's design, the strategy was thoroughly Polaire's. There should be no honour in a battle like this. Nor any children.
Polaire is playing dirty! He targets Erva, the non-fighter, for elimination.

ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: Dai Majin (x1/x3P) |
Erva anticipated Uspo would be able to just knock Garon straight down without even breaking a sweat, and they could move on to the next, more capable fighter to deal with. To each of their surprise, however, Garon did not budge when the Majin barreled into him. On the contrary, he grabbed the arm of the big, orange squishy, and... Pushed back? "What the- I thought you said this guy was weaker than you were!" Uspo complained in shock, though his Shinjin master was equally as confused. "He is! Or, uh, was?" she muttered back through grit teeth, her entire worldview crumbling on its head until Garon explained the mechanics of his suit.
Oh, interesting, Erva thought. So, this was how Garon planned on getting stronger during his stay in the Other World. "Glad to see you took my advice!" she replied with a somewhat proud grin as the Doragon pushed back against the Majin. It was an intense power struggle, though Garon began to progressively get the upper hand as Uspo was pushed closer and closer towards one of the pillars that lined the arena. Things weren't going so great for the pair already, but they got even worse when Erva suddenly sensed an immense ki signature behind her. "Uspo! Behind us!" She warned, and the Majin was quick to react.
The Majin suddenly released a massive burst of air into Garon's face to both try and bush the armored Doragon away and free himself from the struggle, before whipping around and sucking all the air he'd just released back in, inflating up like a balloon and moving Erva out of the way of the attack, with the Arcosian's attack bouncing harmlessly off of the oversized Majin before he released another puff of air and shrunk back down to his usual size, which was still pretty large in its own right. "That's a dirty trick, targeting the one who can't defend herself!" Uspo yelled at the Arcosian. Erva, who was still seated on his shoulder, quietly murmured, "Isn't that exactly what you just did to Garon...?"
Uspo chose to ignore her attitude as he darted towards the sneaky Arcosian, leaving Garon behind and barreling over multiple irrelevant side characters before reaching the Arcosian and trying to deliver a punch straight to his face!

Nashi greets Yogu, saying his name incorrectly. Again. But, the senbyō quickly corrects himself before going into the main fray. Yogu was about to come up behind Nashi and swing a hard punch into his back, but then something on the other side of the arena got his attention. A sudden rise in power, going from a point where Yogu could barely sense it, to the strongest one in the entire arena! He stops, mid-swing and turns around, hoping Nashi hadn't seen the attack he was about to do on him. If Yogu had to fight Nashi and that strong fighter he would be in trouble. So, Yogu walks away from Nashi, before breaking out into a sprint towards the massive energy he sensed! " I'll be back later, Nashi!" Yogu ran back into the pile of fighters trading blows. He narrowly dodges a fist coming at his face, slides under another fighter that was being thrown across the stage, and jumps back to his feet. Yogu jumps into the air, and when he lands, he kicks off the top of someone's head. He didn't bother to look at who it was, did it really matter? They had probably been knocked unconscious from the kick anyway. Yogu continues to kick off of the heads of the fellow fighters, knocking out every single one he lands on. As he jumps from head to head, he looks around at the other notable fighters in the tournament. The Majin and the Arcosian were fighting it out, so Yogu wouldn't have to worry about them for a while. He could focus solely on this powerful fighter! After kicking off five or six more heads, he doesn't spot anymore heads to use as a jumping point. The closest person was the fighter Yogu had been making his way towards. The fighter was wearing some fancy armor, which added to the massive energy Yogu had sensed. It didn't really seem like Yogu was a match for the enemy as he got closer, but he hadn't transformed since the no-sleep training session he had at Kanrin's home. So, in mid-air, Yogu transforms. His energy skyrockets, almost equaling the suit-wearing warrior's. As he falls closer to the armored fighter he realizes who is wearing the suit. " Oh! HEY GARON!" Yogu swings a ki-infused punch at Garon's helmet. " KI FOCUS!" Yogu hadn't put much power behind the attack so Garon probably would counter or dodge the attack, but if he was lucky he might put a dent into the shiny new helmet. " Nice suit! Is it new? Because it seems to be making you a hell of a lot stronger than I thought you were!"
OOC: Yogu transforms into Intense Struggle! His PL is now 130,388. Yogu punches Garon in the face with [N1] Ki Focus! If the attack lands, it deals 43,028 PL Damage!

”Hmm? Oh, yeah, OK, Bye Yo!” He wasn’t sure where he was going. There was a big whole debacle doing on with Glowstick McGee, the ever-so-rotund Uspo and some Arcy-boi Nashi had never seen before.
Well if Yogu wasn’t there to waste time punching/being punched by, he truly had nothing to do! All those silly individuals were already shooting out a lot of their good attacks, and only within moments of the battle starting.
No. No, he wouldn’t have it! He wanted that prize, sure, but the main point of a ‘battle royale’ was the ‘battle’! No, he needed a fight. No, he needed to fight!
”Oi, one of you lot!” started Nashi, his arms waving about frantically and his legs jumping as eye-catchingly as they could, ”I’m bored. You're boring me. Stop it."

Garon wanted to continue his little skirmish with Erva and her Majin friend, but it seemed like the three of them had their own problems to deal with. For Garon, one of these problems was headed for him at an alarming speed, and seemed to really want to put a dent in his brand new armor. As Uspo pushed Garon away with a forceful, albeit relatively harmless, gust of wind he began to slide swiftly, just barely hovering inches above the ground thanks to the new jets that were installed. When Yogu would attempt to attack Garon's helmet, the Doragon would retaliate by blocking the strike with a blue ki blade - a technique that had been a part of his first suit too. "I uh, don't think we've met before, but I'm gonna go on a limb here...", Garon said as he jumped back to put a bit of distance between him and his new foe. "You've gotta be that Yogu guy I keep hearing about.". Yogu complimented Garon on his new suit and the Doragon had a huge grin on his face, even though it wouldn't be visible by anyone. "Damn right it's new! And it's gonna pack even more of a punch when I'm finished with it!", he yelled, proud of his creation. "But that's...definitely going to take awhile. Well-- er, not that that's gonna stop me from winning this thing!". "But let's see what YOU'VE been doing up here." Garon would then begin his assault on Yogu, charging forward with a blue blaze trailing behind him (turns out, speed-increasing jets are not only badass but have remarkable fighting utility as well). He would try to unleash a flurry of punches aimed at Yogu's chest, only at the very end to attempt to swerve around and kick the top of his back and drive it into the ground. The scouter built into Garon's helmet indicated that the two of them were roughly the same in terms of power, so the Doragon was hoping that his attack would land. He was still a little upset that he couldn't keep fighting Erva, but that was ok. An even fight would be MUCH more interesting than a one-sided knockout, after all.
