A lone figure stood on a hill, watching the city shrouded in an ominous darkness. The clouds above him howled and rumbled forebodingly, accompanied by a soft rainfall.Terryn glared at the skyline of what was now known as 'Badman City', a name all too fitting for the terrible fate that befell it. His heart pounded nervously, pounded with fear...But most of all, it pounded with fury. The Earthling's muscles twitched, longing to avenge those that had fallen to the evils that plagued his world.Whilst Badman City was not the sole cause of all this death and misfortune, it stood as a dark symbol, resembling everything that was wrong with the world in Terryn's eyes. He had to free it from whatever demonic magic possessed it...For the world's sake. But also...For their sake.''...I hope you two are watching me right now...''Terryn walked the streets of Badman City with blind conviction, ferocity in each and every step he took. The air reeked of malevolent magics. They tugged at his mind, spoke to his every vile whim...Attempting to break him. But Terryn didn't waver, not even for a moment. He had but a single goal in mind, and would go to great lengths to see it realized. He was going to free this city, no matter the cost!Looking around, Terryn nearly spat in disgust as he saw the twisted civilians of Badman City go about their day. Windows to stores were smashed, their displays robbed clean. Adults stole from playing children, and the children stole back. Violence ran amok, to the point where even the police participated in the beatdowns. Terryn's face twisted with discomfort, yet he continued onwards, deeper and deeper into the city. He had to find whatever it was that was causing all of this malice...He had to find the source!Once he reached the center of the city, Terryn came face to face with a gigantic statue that displayed a gorey death in concerning detail. ''Gross,'' Terryn mumbled aloud, raising a brow at the construct. ''What kind of sick bastard actually thought of this? Like, why even...?'' The Earthling spoke to himself, more weirded-out than anything, really.Apart from the statue, the dark magic seemed to be at it's strongest here, in the eye of the storm, so to speak. ''It's gotta be close...' Terryn thought to himself. 'Better bring the noise.'Without warning, Terryn jumped right infront of the statue, and turned to face the streets. ''YO, EVIL WIZARD-DEMON-GUY! I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE!'' He yelled, much to the annoyance of Badman's civilians. Ignoring their shouts and boos, Terryn sent a fist reeling backwards, striking the statue with enough force to blow it into pieces! Chunks went flying in all directions, debris crashing into nearby buildings and causing quite the mayhem!''OH, WOOPS, MY HAND SLIPPED! AWH JEEZ, HOW UNFORTUNATE! I SURE DO HOPE YOU GUYS DON'T MIND!'Terryn cracked a smirk as he mocked the entire city openly, before his face slid back into the cold glare he carried before. His eyes scanned the environment carefully, waiting tensely as his heart pounded within his chest. ''Come on...Show yourself...!''
