FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
CARRO'S PL: 50 | TIANUM'S PL: 8,000 | COLA'S PL: 1
After a blisteringly hot day the sun had finally set, the relief from the hot moistureless air was palpable as the cooling sea breeze swept over the stray saiyan as his feet caused the leaves and twigs below to crunch. Tianum was the skeptic this time when her partner was the one insistent on going out to a college reunion party- a party in the woods at night none the less. Car parked on the dirt road afar, the Doragon could hear the cold breeze screaming in her perked ears. The duo saw the leaves and trees dancing side to side and smelled the fresh air that passed our way. In the distance though, cheerful chatter and distant lights of all sorts of colors could be seen...
"...In hindsight..." Carro began, clicking his tongue as the two meandered around a fallen log. "...I really hope Froyo isn't here." Tianum held back a slight laugh. "You mean your ex?" Carro's face turned to a reddened pout as he folded his arms, pace picked up. "My high-school ex, yes. She was weird. I was weird. It was weird." Boy, would meeting up with her be an awkward reunion for the ages... Especially with one of his arms still slung in a cast. "Welllllll, Tin said he was coming too! You remember my bro, right?" Carro gave a nod and hum of affirmation. The two continued to discuss what might happen- though Carro went silent when Tianum joked about a song a heartbroken high-schooler Carro wrote when he was broken up with. "Oh would you look at that, we're here!" The saiyan interjected just as his partner was about to sing some of the lyrics, sprinting off into the scene.
Bold yellows, magenta, cyan and emerald green paper lanterns hung on clothelines. There was a punch bowl, an oddly depleted amount of alcohol, and of course tons of chips and soda. Picnic tables and cloths lied about the ground surrounding a large bonfire with a younger Namekian playing a banjo nearby. The place wasn't very packed, though- though she'd already lost sight of the orange-haired midget. "Heeeeeey, sis!" A voice rang, turning the Doragon's gaze to the side. "Bro!"
"Broooo." The two exchanged, giving eachother fist bumps that transitioned into high-fives, and several more intricate handshakes. "Nice to see you again. How's Carrie doing after the whole shebang with that giant monkey?" The chilled brother snapped a finger, earning a meek chuckle from his sibling. "Oh, he's okay now, mostly. Still salty, as per usual." Tin nodded. "Good to see nothing's changed, then... Where is he, anyways?""....Good question."Meanwhile, Carro slinked further into the crowd, cowering behind several trees after eyeing an Arcosian female from afar. Of course she had to be here. "...I think I'm gonna need a drink for this."
