Ledinjin and Vicarous Thread PL: 47,210 & 5,000
Ki Suppression is active on both characters.
The Central City incident had left Ledinjin contemplative state. They had discovered about a month ago that those that went to Satan City after the attack had become manipulated via their Kinetic Reservoirs by either a specific individual or machine. It led him to believe that they could contain the threat from the city while trying to figure out what was going on. Yet, to Ledinjin's dismay, Banzo had become a major threat, taking down Captain Koban and two other individuals in the process! Carro and LEO narrowly survived the encounter, while Ledinjin was able to survive intact.
Due to this, Ledinjin was left trying to contemplate if this unknown enemy learned of what they were doing and were changing their strategies up! It wasn't very far off, so the longer they stayed put, the easier it would've been for them to slither around out of sight and biting them with venomous fangs. He informed Vicarous, alone, who had been upset that the Heran superhero that he was researching had fallen! However, he was able to at least reclaim his balance. They were used to friends falling around them to succeed in the objective, but this was something they couldn't avoid. Koban being as strong as he was, they had to do something soon!
Therefore, they took to the mountains the Federation of Planets Rebels, or the FoP: Resistance with Vicarous's suggestion, to begin training Vicarous to make up for this loss! They went out through one of the hidden exit paths that one of their fellows burrowed out and had begun a long climb around the mountains. The challenge Ledinjin posed to Vicarous was this: traverse five mountains with him without falling behind Ledinjin and keep his energy low! This would develop Vicarous's muscles overall, and Ledinjin's naturally, as well as teach Vicarous how to move without exposing himself in mountainous regions. Although they should be training how to maneuver in cities, Ledinjin didn't believe it was appropriate to go expose themselves so soon! They had to familiarize themselves with the mountains around them. So far, they climbed only one grandiose mountain within a period of 3 hours and had chosen to have a break atop of it.
Kept this brief due to work being in the next 30 minutes. Sorry if this isn't incredibly detailed!

Yanwang needed to find someone need to train him to be super duper strong. He had to do that to honor Koban cause he promised to train him to be super strong. Now he was gone. He'd need someone else to teach him the fighting ropes. Course he was decently strong but he was not a super good fighter. He had to become better at his fighting style. He could use his bag but he still had to become better at this. Still, there was somewhere to go. His hand reached up grasping a massive rock. He climbing up Mt.Flappe. This was one of the best spots to train. That was all he could do. He'd pull up looking around. He'd see someone in the distance. He'd began to walk over trying to get a look on who this person was.
He'd walk over as he saw an Arcosian man with another man who seemed to be a Hera. He peered and go very excited. He could not see for sure who it was but it reminded him of Koban. Maybe he was ok! Maybe they revived him and this Aroscian was like taking care of him. Maybe he lost his memories. Dying could do that to people. Sure, he didn't know the Arcosian but maybe the Hera. Anyway, both of them seemed to be climbing up the mountain. He'd grip the rock ki flowing around his body. He was going to leap up and catch up to them. He needed to see Koban again. Even though part of him maybe was not Koban...he had not seen any other Hera. Why would it be anyone else? He'd boost himself yelling at Led and Vic, "Koban!!!!!!!!" He'd yell and flew past slamming into the mountain rock above them. He slid down in massive pain from slamming his head into the rock.

It was quiet for some time, save for the huffing breaths from Vicarous. He wasn't used to dropping his power just so they could train! They'd been up there for a bit, eventually Ledinjin saying, "Alright, it's time that we-"
A sudden massive presence shot through Ledinjin's brain, and a fraction of a second later, the scouter upon Vicarous's head! Vicarous, without delay, bulked his body up, becoming a bright green color while Ledinjin's arms were raised up in preparation. Their power levels were no longer hidden, exposing them to whomever would show up! The owner of this power level? A strange hairball of a person, with horns jutting out the sides of his head. They were scaling the mountain rapidly, and seemed to be shouting out something... 'Koban'?
Ledinjin and Vicarous looked at each other, Vicarous asking the old man, "Does... That guy think I'm the Captain?"
"Perha- And he just slammed himself into the rock," Ledinjin stated, perplexed at the small man jumping and smacking into a boulder behind them. Ledinjin lowered his hands, sighing and feeling confounded. Vicarous, meanwhile, dropped his power and walked over.
Vicarous asked the guy, "Hey, are you alright? You knocked your head pretty hard there!"
Looks like it'll be you and I for now!

Yanwang crashed above. He'd rub his head spitting on his hand. "Man that hurt." He'd rub his head as he looks at Ledinjin and Vicarious. The man he thought was Koban was now Blue. The name was instead green! Did Koban learn this super awesome new form? Then his heart sank. He'd look and see this was not Koban. This was someone else that was the same race as him. He'd frown. He got all excited for nothing. It was some other loser. "Man your not Koban," Yanwang said crossing his arms and pouting. Why could it not be? Was he strong? Why did he have to die? Now he had to figure out who they were? Why were they upon this mountain.
"Hello, what are you two doing here." He sounds very monotone. He was not excited anymore. If it was not Koban then he almost had no reason to be here? If it was not Koban how could these losers help him? Guess they were training. Maybe he should train with them. It could get rid of his bordem for the time being. Plus, what was he going to do? Sit around and sulk. He had to get over himself. There were a lot more important things he could be doing. Guess it was the best thing he could do with his time. "So what are you guys doing up here. Training? Guess I can tag along I got nothing better to do." He'd say to Vicarious while looking at the Aroscian, "Also Sorry thought you were someone else."

The strange guy rubbed his head and muttered about it hurting. Vicarous announced, "Well yeah, ya hurt yourself leaping into this boulder here!"
Vicarous looked back to Ledinjin who shrugged in response. The tech-savvy Heran looked back, the guy saying that he wasn't Koban. It answered Vicarous's question about before!
"No, I'm definitely not," Vic said depressed, "I was hoping to learn about him, though...'
The guy asked, doubly so while accurately guessing, what they were doing before stating that they'd tag along. They then immediately apologized for the mistake, Ledinjin replying, "It's fine. I've not seen many Herans on the planet, so seeing Vicarous with Koban being all over wouldn't be too far a leap. However, there's more people here."
He trudged through the snow to the new arrival and offered his hand out to him for a hand shake.
"My name is Ledinjin, and this is Vicarous. I was present with the Captain in his final moments. I can tell you what happened if you'd like."

Vicarious didn't seem all that happy. He was hoping to meet Koban. "Well I didn't know him that long but he was a good guy. Strong and always did the right thing. I'm sure you two would of hit it off." Yanwang grinned before he'd look over at the Aroscian. He'd explain who they were. Ledinjin explained that he had been there when Koban died. He'd frown looking at him. He'd told him he could tell him if he wanted to know. "Nah. I'd like to think he fought defending people. I don't want to know how. It is good enough for me at least. To know he is ok wherever he went." Yanwang said somberly before smiling back. "So what are you two doing Can I join. I'm really bored so anything could be really fun to do." He'd say hoping Ledinjin and Vicarious would let him join them.

This guy was very blunt, in a very naive sense. In fact, he was starting make Ledinjin think that they were actually a kid, like Vicarous... A very strong kid. Also good natured, given his statement on how he'd like to think he fought defending people.
"Then I'll let you know that your belief is accurate," Ledinjin retorted with a nod, "As for joining us for training, that is fine. However, you have to be able to suppress your energy."
Ledinjin didn't want anyone else out here, though the Arcosian was certain they were fine at this given point. Vicarous, meanwhile, stood up with a sigh. He didn't wanna scale another mountain, but Ledinjin was someone not to be argued with! Especially when someone like Koban died with him. He looked to Yanwang and asked, "Well, since you're gonna be joining us, we may as well learn each other's names. I'm Vicarous, and that's Ledinjin. What's your name? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what ra-"
Ledinjin was immediately behind Vicarous, a fist driven to the top of Vic's head and causing the Heran teen to stop with a yelp! Vic grabbed rubbed his head while bickering, "What was that for?!"
"You know what that was for, boy!"
Yo, sorry about the wait! Lets try to get this moving more!

Yanwang nodded. He noted he'd have to be able to suppress his energy. He'd frown, "I can't. Why would I need to suppress my power anyway? No one would be stupid enough to attack me." He'd brag looking at Ledinjin. He looked kind of serious about this. This sucked, how was he suppose to train. This really sucked. He began to talk about their names. He'd nod before Ledinjin punched the hera in the head. He laughed a bit, "I can keep a secret." He'd said. No, he really could not. But making them stress over that stop was not something he was going to do. If anything he'd probably forget sometime soon. Anyway, he'd just stare at Ledinjin as nodded, "Well Guess I cannot train with you guys can't suppress my power sorry." He'd say.

The guy had been unaware as to why Ledinjin requested him to suppress his power level. He was effectively a giant beacon identifying where Vicarous and he were! He said he'd keep a secret, Ledinjin finally responding with a sigh, "It's not just about keeping a secret. We're working on developing how quick we can be when scaling mountains without revealing our presences, and how to keep ourselves level headed.'"It's basically anger and fearfulness controlling," Vicarous spoke up, his tone suggestive about how Ledinjin punched him prior for his comment. Ledinjin narrowly stared at Vic as the guy said he couldn't join because he was unable, apologizing too. "It is teachable, very easily so," Ledinjin retorted, sitting himself in front of Yanwang. He looked unbothered by the snow's chill! He crossed his legs and gestured to Yanwang with a beckoning wave of his hand to the spot he was in, telling him, "The technique also keeps you from making people jump in fright due to your power being so great. Prevents people from fighting you because you're so strong! Have you had issues like this in the past?"'Is this what we're doing now,' Vicarous pondered in his thoughts, taking a seat in the snow as well, 'Well then! I might as well use this time to get some extra rest.'Ledinjin brought his hand back to his knee. Perhaps Yanwang would be open to this small bit of training? YanwangYo, I'm so sorry about the delay of posting! The past week kicked my ass with work... D:

Yanwang stared as Led explained why they were training. He was worried now they were super weak. They were trying to scale mountains without showing their powerlevel. "Can't you just fly like kinda slow instead." He asked confused why this was so important to them. Anyway, he listened to what they had to say. Vicarious began to explain something he didn't care about. Then Ledinjin explained that he could learn it. Maybe this would be worth something after all. He'd nod focusing on him. He'd land walking to the spot Ledinjin seemed to be motioning too. He'd listen to him as he explained that he could spook his foes by bringing his powerlevel up then down. It would be a good way to make them back down. That was a cool idea. "Yah that seems pretty cool." He'd say as he looked at Ledinjin. "So what type of training are we doing." He'd ask confused as Ledinjin did get into that odd stance. Was it a fight?

Ledinjin shook his head, stating, "Flying still means your energy is being used. It leaves you exposed to those who can sense that energy from your Kinetic Reservoir... Your ki, I mean. You can be traced, followed, and attacked out of the blue."Vicarous fell asleep in the snow, his arm used to cradle this had. Ledinjin saw this, sighed, and looked back to the the guy. He was willing after Ledinjin's explanation, but wanted to know the type of training. Ledinjin smiled to him. "It's a slow process to learn the technique, but you look like you've got the time," Ledinjin explained in a pleasant tone, "So, the first thing to realize is that, as you currently are, you'd be a magnet to people looking for a big fight! It means your energy is going out and grazing theirs. That's what it is doing now..."He'd pause very briefly to breathe in and then out, elaborating, "The Kinetic Reservoir, as I've dubbed the source of where this energy is from, is meant to contain the energy. Think of it like your lungs. You breathe in and out to refresh your body's oxygen and take out the gases in body. In the case of the reservoir, we naturally let it go out, just so that we can feel out presences of others, much like the standard five senses all organisms share, although to various degrees. It's our need of feeling secure, so we put out ample amounts of energy just so that we can be aware of our surroundings and make those who threaten us back off. Knowing this information, what do you suppose you'd have to do?"Yanwang

Yanwang looked at Lendjin as he explained that be he spotted even if he was flying a low sleep. Cause of his K....he didn't even wanna try to understand that word. He explained right after that it was Ki. He just gave it an old man's name, "You must be older than my uncle." He grumbled with a joking tone. He sounded like some Robot. Maybe he was secretly one on a mission to make everyone gets rid of the idea of ki and change it to whatever he just called it. It made sense in his head. He'd look at Vicarious who had seemed to have fallen asleep. He seemed pretty comfy. Too bad he'd prob get some frostbite. Still, his focus shifted on Ledinjin as he was going to explain this techquine.
He'd did want to learn. To be like a Ninja could be a useful skill. Also could be a lot of fun to prank people with such a power. Anyway, he had to focus to learn such a power. He explained it was a slow process, "Not for me I'm a natural." He'd cross his arms looking sorta smug. Still, This guy seemed serious. So he'd go along with thinking this would take a bit. Just so he didn't cry at how awesome he was. He explained as he was right now people would flock to him cause he had a high battle level and it was not suppressed. He'd nod along. He did get lost as he began to explain this in all these bigs words. He stared at Ledinjin as he explained all this. As he finished asking what he was supposed to do. "I don't know. Learn whatever lingua you're using. Maybe use English and simple words?" He'd ask looking at him annoyed. Did he not get no one was going to understand him.

The hairy guy before him was giving him the look of someone who was trying to understand, but wasn't able to understand due to the language Ledinjin was using! It was an accurate assumption, as the man confirmed this to Ledinjin. He sighed, using his hands as a measurement, "Most people are all the way down here. You, on the other hand, are all the way up here. You're on edge! Excited! Letting your emotions dictate how your energy works."
He pointed to Vicarous afterwards, stating, "Be like this tired schmuck here. Far too relaxed for his own good, but nicely containing all that energy of his... I got an idea. Let's do a breathing exercise. I'll show you my power first, and then I'll demonstrate how to bring it down. Then we'll work you through it"
Ledinjin simply flared his eyes, but with this flaring also came an explosive aura that knocked the snow up and on top of the sleeping Vicarous! The Heran flailed under the snow pile, sitting up and spitting the snow out of his mouth. He looked over at Ledinjin, seeing he was focused right now! He blinked a few times before waving his hand and going back to sleep, stating, "Just tell me when you're going to do that next time, Boss so I don't... Ah, forget it."
Vicarous stretched out in the snow and breathed lightly in his self induced sleep. Ledinjin, meanwhile, nodded and stated, "Now that I've revealed my power through my force of will, I'm going to retract it back..."
He breathed in a few times, slowly, causing his energy to diminish with each breath until it was practically nothing, like before!
"Like... So. Understand," Ledinjin questioned after his breathing, "If you do, we can begin. Otherwise, ask away."

Yanwang put his hand to his chin as he listened to Ledinjin explain that he let his power be dictated by his emotions. He'd then cross his arms. He was not sporadic and even if it was it worked to his advantage. He had to be unpredictable. Ledinjin explained that he should be just like Vicious. He was sleeping. "Yes, he is very unpredictable. If I fall asleep in the middle of battle my foes won't expect it." He'd said annoyed at Ledinjin. What was he trying to tell him? What was the point of all this? He'd sit listening to the wisdom that was supposed to be coming from Ledinjin. Vicarious said some stuff that was supposed to help but he seemed to half-ass it. Ledinjin seemed to be powering down but he didn't know. He could not sense ki so he just sat there nodding. He seemed to have to do breathing exercises. Guess that worked he supposed. He'd begin to copy what Ledinjin was doing. If this was what was suppose to reduce his power he'd do what he was said. This was much easier to do.

Sarcasm was what Ledinjin received, even after this hairy guy saw the physical display of power with the snow erupting and covering the sleeping Heran! Ledinjin couldn't tell if the guy didn't care or if he didn't know how to sense energy. The Arcosian huffed with his lips lightly sucked into mouth and an eyebrow raised. The guy did the breathing, but it was just normal breathing. His power didn't fluctuate a bit!
"Alright," he said with a lightly irritable gasp, "You're simply breathing right now. You're not letting that air go throughout your body and calm it down. Watch again. I'm gonna raise my power and then drop it using my breath. Focus on how much my power drops with each breath."
His power level increased again, a wall of snow 9 feet tall hurtling to the sleeping Vicarous. This time, though, he was prepared and jumped through the wall and over Ledinjin. Landing on his feet with a quick spin, he put his hands together and pointed at Ledinjin, grunting, "You don't have to do that again to get me up! I. Am. AWAKE!"
Ledinjin looked to Vicarous for a moment, shaking his head before looking back to the hairy guy.
"Now, I breathe... Let everything be calmed by the air," He said, taking his breath in. Once more, his energy dropped incredibly low! He nodded, before gesturing over and asking, "Did you see or feel what occurred just now?"
