Traveling to a new city by herself was rather intimidating, especially when she had just gotten used to the company of Frozone. But as he had to deal with some other unknown business, Neo had no choice but to travel to the city by herself. After all, she was curious about a certain group of people that had decided to set up base here, the Pride Troopers. Admittingly, she didn't really have a good idea what they were for. However, she knew for certain that their previous leader had recently passed. She had watched the battle itself on one of the strange devices known as television and saw his triumphant final stand against the oozaru. Neo could only pray that his soul was in a better place now.
She was curious about the group, and what they stand for. From what Neo had seen so far, they appeared to fight for the greater good which was a great relief, especially considering how the forces of evil were slowly growing stronger. Considering the fact that she intended to fight said evil in the near future, it would be a good idea to have allies to help her in the fight. Who knows, maybe they would even have more information on the dragon balls for her. But for now, she would have to actually visit and maybe even talk to some of the members first.
It was a short period of time, navigating through the vast city before Neo finally had managed to find her way to the front of their base. What was she supposed to do now? She was here, but should she go inside? While she would have been willing to barge in without a second thought when she had first entered this world, Neo now understood manners and common courtesy in this strange world. However, unless she took the initiative she wouldn't get any results. Taking a deep breath, the doragon would steel her resolve before knocking on their door. The first step always began with a knock, right?

''Ffffff--...!''
Rapid clicking and button-mashing came from the Captain's room as an orchestra of clashes and explosions boomed from the speakers. Terryn's eyes were glued to his monitor, the metaphorical sweat dripping from his brow like a waterfall. Turbo FighterZ sure as hell was a fun game!... When you weren't getting your butt kicked. And sadly for Terryn...
'TERRYN, LOSE!'
''AAAAAAAAAAAAA-!!!''
Luckily, the PT Headquarters were quite giant. The loud, girly screech probably couldn't have been heard from outside. Atleast, that's what Terryn hoped. The Captain let out a heavy sigh as he set down his controller, sitting back to stare at the screen with dead eyes. ''...Stupid real-life obligations. Can't even play my dumb game anymore...'' Terryn mumbled to himself, getting up from his seat. Ofcourse, getting the Pride Troopers back to their former glory took a lot of time, and not without reason! Terryn wanted to see the Troopers succeed, he really did!
...But barely having any free time to just sit down and play games did suck.
Terryn idly swiped through his phone as he walked through the Headquarters' vast hallways. The Captain knew damn well that he should be training for his attack on Badman City, but something just made him...Hesitant. Well, procrastinating was human in nature. And sadly, Terryn was, in fact, human.
But before he could beat himself up too badly, Terryn heard a knock on the door! Without any real expectations, Terryn walked over to the front door and swung it open, dressed in nothing but sweatpants and a black tee. How professional!
''Uh-'' Terryn looked down. A kid? What was she doing here, all by herself? ''Hi there. Can I help you?'' The Captain asked in a friendly voice, eyes widened just a tad.

Neo couldn't help but worry as she approached the headquarters. What if they weren't currently here. Was this all for naught? Silently, she wished Frozone was around so that he would be able to comfort her. Taking a deep breath, Neo steeled herself once again, she had to do this all by herself. If she wanted to be kami, she had to be strong, especially when it came to social interaction. A faint scream from inside the headquarters caused her to freeze just as she was about to knock on the door. While she was happy at least there was someone inside after all. But at the same time, she was confused. Were they hurt? Was something wrong? For a moment, Neo had even considered just barging through the doors to see what was wrong and try to help in any way she could before a human came from the door.
For a member of the Pride Troopers, Neo hadn't expected him to dress so casually. She had the impression that they were always clad in their colorful uniforms 24/7 in case evil were to strike. However, the human's choice in apparel didn't matter to her. Neo could sense the powerful strength he held, one that shouldn't be taken lightly no matter what he was wearing. "I'm looking for someone that goes by Terryn Yaki." She said in response to his question. "I need some help, and I was told by one of your members, Synthesia, that I could get some help from him." She said, her tone holding some concern within it. "It's of utmost importance and if things go right, we might be able to reverse the damage done on Satan City and return things back to normal." Neo understood her words seemed farfetched, and chances were this man probably wouldn't believe her. However, it was worth a shot in the end if it meant that they could dispel of the evil in this world.

''Terryn? Y-Yeah, that'd be me.''
The Captain nodded toward her as he leaned on the open doorway with a shoulder, a curious gaze locked onto the Alien. Terryn hummed at the mention of Synth- what had to be so important that Synth felt it necessary to send her to Terryn, of all people? Then again, this is Synthesia we're talking about...
And important it was, more important than Terryn could even imagine! The Trooper nearly choked on his own breath as she mentioned Satan City, a wide-eyed stare cast down onto the Doragon. ''W-what...!? Are you serious?'' The Captain let out, nearly unable to believe her. Pausing, Terryn breathed in and looked around the streets. Too many eyes, even if they were just civilians.
''...Would you mind coming in for a second? To talk.'' Terryn's expression grew serious. ''This is...The last thing I expected.'' The Human let out with a small sigh, running a hand through his hair as he walked back into the building, leaving the door open for the Doragon. The inside of the building looked quite neat and well-kept, despite it just being a warehouse that got a little makeover. Terryn would lead Neo to a door that said 'Troopers Only!', and went through it.
''Uh- sorry for the mess.'' ...It looked a little less clean in there.
Well, atleast they could talk privately here, assuming Synthesia and her weren't pulling some sick prank on him. He doubted it, though. ''Sit down if you want, I feel like this could take a while.'' Terryn gave her a friendly smile, and plopped down on the couch.
''...Sooo, let's not beat around the bush here. What exactly did you mean with 'repairing Satan City'? It's...A bit vague, I'll be honest.'' Terryn raised a curious brow, scratching the side of his neck. ''Synth probably told you, but we're going to do whatever we can to free Satan City. Every bit of info would help us out a lot.'' The Captain smiled. He wasn't sure how much the Doragon's information would help them in the end, but he was willing to hear her out.
...Uh, wait, he was being rude, wasn't he?
''Oh- I uh, forgot to ask...What's your name?''

Neo wasn't surprised by Terryn's reaction to his words. Without any other context, her words seemed impossible, yet they held some truth within them. Nodding, she was about to elaborate more until the human had directed her inside. "Sure," she said before walking through the open door. If he was Synth's friend, Neo wouldn't hesitate to trust him. The building, just like its captain seemed a little odd. However, she wasn't one to question their choice in clothing or interior decoration. After being guided through a door and into a messy room, the doragon shook her head. "It's fine," she said before taking a seat on a nearby chair as well.
Immediately, the two would get straight to the point. Of course, there was no point in avoiding the topic. Before she was able to speak, the captain had asked for her name. "Neo," she said with a wary smile. "It's a pleasure to speak with you Mr. Terryn." She said before returning to the topic of freeing Satan City.
"Do you know about the dragon balls?" She asked, waving out her hand. Within moments, seven small replicas of the dragon ball were scattered across the floor. With another wave of her hand, the artifacts would glow before a draconic figure emerged from the light. "A long time ago, the guardian of Earth called Kami, created these balls. They say whoever gathered all seven dragon balls could have a wish of their choice granted." Finally, with a snap of her fingers, the figures that she had created would flicker before dissipating into nothing. "If you gather all seven, you can wish for whatever you want. Power, money, and maybe you can even revive the fallen heroes." If the forces of good could truly get their hands on the dragon balls, perhaps there truly was hope. but unfortunately, that was a thought that they would have to save for later. There was another issue currently at hand.
"There hasn't been a kami for around two hundred years. Without a kami, there are no dragon balls. But I intend to change that." Neo said firmly. "I want to take the mantle of kami so that I can create the dragon balls and save Earth." After making her proclamation, she would shrink down a little, losing a little bit of the confidence that she just had. "It's not going to be easy of course, since I'm not even sure how to become kami or make the dragon balls. But I'm still going to try." Despite her nervous laugh, the determination she had was still clear in her eyes. "I want to do anything I can to save Earth."

''Dragon Balls...''
Terryn's head dipped to the ground, humming. ''...Sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't know much.'' He ultimately shook his head, lips pulling into a slant. Although his eyes widened as Neo displayed her magic, creating illusory replicas of the things, and a dragon to boot! ''Whoah,'' He gasped, only to then start putting the pieces together. These orange balls...They really did seem familiar.
His head snapped to Neo as she explained the mystical power behind these 'Dragon Balls', causing Terryn's mouth to hang open in shock! ''Y-You mean we could revive everyone that died, then?'' The Captain repeated, nearly unable to believe it. His shock turned into glee, a hopeful smile stuck on his face.
...But then came the bad news. There hasn't been a 'Kami' for over two-hundred years. The good news? Neo was more than determined to change that.
In silence, Terryn nodded, contemplating his own thoughts. ''That's very brave of you, Neo. It...Takes a lot to be able to handle that kind of responsibility.'' His tone seemed to become somber for just a moment. He couldn't help but glance at a picture of Koban hanging on the wall. ''...Trust me, I would know.''
''A-Anyway,'' The Captain shook his head, a steeled expression cast toward the Doragon. ''Becoming Earth's 'Guardian' is nothing to sneeze at, Neo.'' Terryn paused, ''Are you really ready?''
He allowed a moment of silence to wash over them. Silently, Terryn stood up, and walked over to the picture of Koban that hung on the wall. He gazed up at it, before glancing back toward Neo. ''You can think you're ready, but people are quick to overestimate themselves.'' There was a gloom look on Terryn's face. ''One of my best friends, and my own Captain, had to die before I realized what I needed to do.'' He allowed the words to sink in for a bit, eyes moving back towards Koban's picture.
Terryn hardened his expression, casting away the sadness to give Neo a harsh look.
''What's driving you, Neo?''

Neo was a little bit surprised with Terryn. Despite not being a well-known legend, she had expected the leader of the Pride Troopers to at least know something about the Earth's past, even if it was considered to be a myth. Patiently, the doragon nodded as he asked more about the dragon balls. "I don't see why not. If these relics can grant vast power, riches, and there was even a rumor that it could give immortality, then why can't they revive a population of a city." If there was a limit to these wishes, Neo wouldn't know of it currently.
Suddenly, the captain's tone became somber which was a shocking transition from his curious attitude only a few moments prior. "I understand it's a lot of responsibility, but I think I'm ready to handle it." Even if she wasn't raised to become kami, Neo understood what it meant to hold so much responsibility and pressure from the world with her position as a priestess back home. While her previous role was nothing compared to what she was about to take up, she was prepared. If it was for the good for the world, Neo was willing to sacrifice anything to save it. Even her own life.
A heavy silence began to build up between then as Neo began to contemplate where she was right now. Compared to where she was months ago, things didn't seem to be the same anymore. Time had passed and the world has changed. Terryn continued to talk, elaborating on his question to her. While she was aware of the fact that the human was still grieving since the loss of his captain, she was not aware of the true extent of the pain he felt. A mixture of pity and sadness appeared on her face as she began to think of her own loved ones and the goddess above that she worshipped so dearly. However, there isn't any time to cry, they didn't have that luxury anymore. Plus, it wasn't what she would have wanted if she was still around.
Her face began to morph once again, going from sadness to determination. Without hesitation, Neo met Terryn's harsh glance. "I am the servant of my goddess, Saban. It is my duty as Her chosen priestess to combat this evil in this world. But that isn't the only reason..." She said, her voice trailing off. "I'm not from your world. I might have been born on Earth, but the world I grew up in is entirely different than the one surrounding us right now. Where I come the tribes are at constant odds against each other. I have seen death, destruction, pain, and sorrow with my own eyes. My own sister died in my arms. I don't like this. I want the pain to stop. If I can prevent just one more mindless death, my journey has meaning. Is that not enough reason for you?" There was nothing that was going to stray her from the path she will take. For Saban, the Earth and everyone else, Neo wouldn't think twice before putting her life in danger just for them.

There it was. Terryn's words did exactly what he hoped they would do; they made Neo think. He saw her expression shift and morph, now bitter and sad. This wasn't just the face of someone pitying Terryn, no...She was thinking about her own losses, her own tragedies. Terryn recognized that expression better than anyone. It might've been difficult for the young Doragon, but how was she going to devote her life to protecting others, whilst not having felt any pain? That pain drove you. Inspired you to never let anyone feel it again.
But then, something quite beautiful happened. With his gaze kept on Neo, he saw the priestess' expression morph once again. All that sadness and bitterness washed away, replaced with striking confidence. Terryn couldn't help but grin at the sight.
''...It is.'' The Captain replied with a simple nod. ''I'm sorry you went through all that, Neo. Sorry I had to bring it up.'' Terryn glanced away for a moment, absentmindedly staring at a random spot on the wall. ''But you get it, right? All that pain, and terrible shit you went through...It motivates you, right?'' Terryn glanced back at Neo, a faint smile tugging at his lips. It's best to leave the pain and tears behind. No point in sulking around when you could change the future. So that no one had to feel that pain ever again.
Despite everything, Terryn couldn't help but sigh. He ran a hand through his hair, nervousness crossing his features. ''...There's a different issue, though.'' He mumbled hesitantly, before silently walking over toward a window. He glanced out the window, before continuing.
''Our...Our drive-... It can only get us so far.'' The Captain nervously tapped the windowsill with two fingers, his expression slowly filling with dread. ''I'm not sure how much Synth has told you, but the enemies we're up against are more powerful than we can even imagine.'' He spoke the words loud and clear, like a verbal nuke. They were outmatched, and far from ready.
''I fought the person in control of Satan City...And failed. I'm lucky I'm still alive.'' Terryn muttered anxiously, glancing down at the shake in his hand. Memories of that battle flooded back, and the Captain gulped. The image of Chamil still haunted him in his sleep at times.
Closing his eyes for a moment, Terryn inhaled sharply, and clenched his fist. The Earthling regained his prideful composure, and turned to face Neo fully.
''If we're going to do anything, we need to get stronger. If you're going to be this place's Guardian, you're gonna need the power to back it up.'' The Captain spoke sternly, before tilting his head to the side with a friendly smile.
''Feel like showing me what you're capable of, Neo?''

As painful as these memories were, she refused to let them hold her back. Wiping away the stray tears that were forming in her eyes, Neo shook her head. "It's fine, you need not worry." Terryn continued to ask her a few questions, causing her to nod. He was right. While Saban was one of the factors that kept her on this journey, she had been selfish and put her own motivations in front of her own diety's instructions. Bohri's death was what forced her to explore this world, her own personal emotions are what drove her to try to redeem Frozone and even Badman City. It wasn't simply because of the fact she had to fight evil in this world, it was because she saw so much pain and sorrow that she was all familiar with. Neo cursed herself silently, admonishing herself for forgetting the goals she was given by her goddess. These were worldly desires, not the ones that were assigned to her.
Terryn continued, mentioning how despite everything, they still were clearly outnumbered. Of course, Neo knew this. She had realized how terrifying the enemies were on the day she saw Satan City fall. While this was intimidating, it didn't change the fact she still wanted to save the city. But, it definitely wouldn't be an easy feat. "I know," she said in a quiet voice. Neo was aware of the fact that compared to the other fighters, she wasn't strong. Compared to the power she felt from Terryn, she was weak. The doragon was caught off guard as he asked her to show him what she was capable of. She was hesitant at first. After all, her power didn't come from raw strength on its own. Sure, she could fight, but typically she fought with Frozone on her side and he wasn't here right now.
Neo hesitated, unsure how to respond to this. She wasn't sure if the captain was aware of the power gap between the two of them and was severely overestimating her. However, from what he said, the enemies that they were fighting against were far more powerful than he was. If she couldn't muster up the courage to fight against the leader of the Pride Troopers, how could she face off against the true enemies? Taking a deep breath, she nodded slowly. "I accept Terryn. Allow me to show you my resolve." While doubt was crystal clear on her face, she made it clear that she would back down.
