LOOK LIKE YOU'VE SEEN A GHOST | CHOCO'S PL: 33,709 |
There were just too many to count.
Choco stared out into the field, a large number of graves stood ahead of him. He wasn't wearing his "Stargoonz Rule" jacket at the moment, and instead just a plain white shirt, not only that, but he was in his real form, his human form, which was uncommon for him. The man fixed his ponytail while walking ahead towards the grave site. He had no connections to anyone from Namek, he couldn't name a single person in the grave site, but he felt dread when going through, not because of anyone here, but because of who could be here. His cousin Chamil and Mumbo weren't the most merciful of people, if someone got in their way, they were more than likely going to kill them. Anyone on Namek so far could join the people who laid here, and yet here Choco was not going to do anything about it.
He wanted to be a hero, he wanted to stop Chamil from achieving her current goals, but he was scared. He had a connection to Chamil, despite everything she's done so far he still saw the goat as family. He was too afraid to fight her in fear of either killing her or having to see an ally take her life, he hoped there was a way to stop the goat from doing what she was aiming for and talk things out with her, maybe even convincing her to turn good completely. But there was little hope of that happening, but if he wanted to stop her from being evil, then why was he here helping her? He planned to stop even acting evil once he got back to Earth but that didn't change the fact he was helping them anyways. Was it because of that fear she could be killed? More than likely not, thanks to his scouter he knew Chamil was one of the strongest here, good enough to go toe to toe with some of the higher up people here. So then why was it that he assisted her?
The half-demon stopped and adjusted his glasses. He formed a seat under him and just sat there in the middle of the graveyard. There was something else on his mind, his two lost allies. "Yogu and Kari died because I called them my side to fight Chamil...is there a point to going against her anymore? She's even stronger back then than she is now..." Choco continued to sit there while looking across the lands. He needed time to think about this, but it wasn't long before his scouter picked up on some near by energy sources. He just hopped that whoever was around wasn't looking for a fight at the moment.

It'd been suggested by one of the locals she'd met with that Nashua go and pay her respects at the Mazoku Gravesite. It was a trek and a half to find, and more than once she'd had to stop and ask a grumpy Namekian or two for directions, but the Saiyan eventually set foot into the mystical yet haunted grounds. "Wow," she found herself silently muttering as she looked around, her eyes taking in all the gravestones and tombs that jutted from the ancient earth. It was humbling in a way, to think that buried just beneath her feet were all powerful warriors and fighters from long past, many of whom had strength that made hers look like it was nothing, yet all shared the same fate, and were nearly all lost to history, along with their exploits and names.
If you died, and no one remembered you, who was to say you'd ever lived at all?
That question had been on her mind, lately, and she couldn't deny it troubled her. Nashua was doing all she could to support the Saiyan Kingdom's cause and all, but it'd been years since she'd thought towards her own personal goals. What did she want to be remembered for? And if she were to be killed during this Namek struggle, would she be remembered at all? As the armored woman pondered these thoughts, her eyes perused the graves that lined the cemetery. Unfamiliar name after unfamiliar name went in and out of her brain like fleeting thoughts, and she couldn't help but feel her anxiety grow with each passing step. She was broken from her thoughts when the side of her foot accidentally caught a gravestone, and she nearly tripped and fell right over it. "Whoa!" she exclaimed, managing to catch herself before hitting the ground.
She quickly stood herself up and dusted off the grave she'd nearly trampled, reading off the name. "Uh, sorry about that, 'Rhytid', didn't mean to disturb you." She came here to pay respects, not kick over graves. It took a moment or two more of walking before she noticed her scouter begin to blip. Someone else coming to respect the graves? It sure was a high power level for your average Namekian mourner. Out of curiosity, Nashua followed the trail of the scan until she came across, to her surprise, a human! They looked human, at least. Mostly. They sure had some interesting looking hair, and Nashua couldn't say she'd seen them before. "Oh, hello, sorry to disturb you," Nashua politely said with a smile. "Are you visiting someone here or just paying your general respects, or...? Not to intrude, of course. I'm just here for the latter."

Choco's head would perk up as a voice called out. He already knew they were there obviously, but still, he turned towards them to see someone familiar. He knew this Saiyan girl, they were someone he met when he first arrived on Namek, someone he, his cousin, and Mumbo ended up fighting. Thankfully they hadn't seemed to recognize him due to his current form. He had no hatred against the woman, though he had no idea if she would have felt the same way. Maybe he could explain things to her, but not right now at least, for now he'd just try and get a conversation going with her. "Ah, no, you're fine. But to answer your question, I'd say I'm here for the latter as well, though I was originally just looking for a place to think." The man snapped his fingers, and beside him another chair was formed like the one he was sitting in. "I've got a seat right here if you need one." Whether or not she took the offer of the free chair, he'd turn to look forward once more, still talking to the Saiyan.
"It would be rude to not introduce myself. I'm-" He had a slight pause, he didn't want to let his identity slip just yet. "I'm commonly referred to as chocolate." Assuming the Saiyan was at his side, he'd glance towards her, chuckling a little as he noticed her ponytail and grabbed onto his. "You've got good tastes." Though as he quieted down, he wanted to try and keep things steady, but his thoughts were still clouded by his goat cousin. He looked around, and this girl was the only one around, maybe someone to let his thoughts be dropped onto would help. "Hey, I know this is sudden...but as I said I came here to think. I do have a lot on my mind, and if it wouldn't be any trouble to you, I'd like your own opinions on the matters going through my head. You don't have to answer anything if you don't want to." He'd await for her answer.

This guy seemed friendly. At least, friendlier than most of the people that Nashua had met for the first time on Namek so far. Sounded like he was just here to take in the view and pay his respects, same as her. And, while it was curious that he was able to make a chair appear out of thin air, Nashua had seen far stranger at this point, so she couldn't say it fazed her much. "...Thanks!" she said after a brief hesitation, stepping forward and plopping her rear end down in the seat, her tail wrapped around her waist and resting itself on her leg. Boy, it felt good to just sit and rest her legs, she had to admit. The trip to Namek had required an awful lot of walking on her part.
She listened quietly as the ponytailed man spoke, furrowing her brows as he introduced himself as 'Chocolate'. "Can't say I've met anyone with that name before!" she cheerfully replied, "My name's Nashua! Most people call me that." She smiled and thanked him as he complimented her ponytail (he was the first to actually say something about it!), though she dropped the smile as he started to seem kind of upset about something. He wanted her opinions on things? Well, she was little more than a stranger he'd just met, but Chocolate seemed like a friendly guy, so if something was bothering him and she could be of help, she'd be happy to oblige. "Oh, yeah, go ahead! I'm specially trained in listening to people's needs, so lemme at 'em."

Choco did give a slight smile as this Nashua person accepted to hear him out. Hopefully while giving as little context as possible for the moment she could at least understand. "The thing is...imagine you've been trying to be your absolute best all the time. Like you've constantly be doing what you, at least see, as right at any moment. But then someone close to you does the exact opposite, everyone seeing them as bad, but something tells you to help them. Like everyone else will see you the same way they look at the person close, but you still feel the urge to assist." He paused, and looked directly into Nashua's eyes. "What do you do?" The man adjusted his glasses. "See, that person close to me in this situation is family. We come from the same blood line, I've known them for so long and I feel as if the memories from then still linger on when I look at what they are now."
As he continued to talk though, his left arm began to give a purple glow as markings appeared on it. He noticed it and quickly put the arm behind his back, putting his metallic right arm behind as well, trying to look more as if he was stretching. He had no idea why the mark from his pact with her was glowing now, though he at least had the idea it was reacting to the magic around him, the chairs he made. "I guess it's more of just I don't want to abandon them, but I'd like your opinion at the very least." Choco hoped she hadn't noticed the markings while his arm was still in front of him for that brief period. They weren't common knowledge, but he had no idea if this woman may or may not have bared witness to his cousin's magic.
While he awaited for the answer though, he knew he couldn't stretch forever. So while his arms were still behind him, he used more magic to form bandages around the left arm, covering the markings. There was still a slight glow, but definitely less apparent than usual.

"Hmm..." Nashua mumbled as she thought about what Chocolate was saying. It sounded like he was in quite a predicament. Nashua didn't have any brothers or sisters to call her own, but she imagined that if she did, that she'd be quite close to them, regardless of what kinds of things they chose to do with their lives. She certainly had a few friends that came to mind whose actions she found herself occasionally questioning. But whether or not she'd actually go along with those actions and help them with them... "Well, I mean, it depends," she said after a while with a shrug, her eyes still gazing out across the graveyard as she spike. "On how bad it is, I mean. Like, if your friend did something like cheat on a test and you helped them, that's bad, but it's not like it's the end of the world."
Something told her this problem he was talking about wasn't quite as simple as that, though. "But if you're talking about like, violent crimes or murder and that kind of stuff," she paused, and swished her tail around as she tried to think. She didn't want to sound accusatory or anything like that, but it wasn't like you could really sugarcoat how bad it was to go and kill somebody. "Have you tried asking other people for help, with dealing with it?" she asked, glancing over towards the human to find them somewhat awkwardly stretching their arms behind their back. "Cause, uh, you know, some things are a lot easier to do when you've got multiple people helping you with them." She eyed the Earthling's arms a bit curiously, but figured it was rude to stare, and turned her head back over to look towards the graveyard.
"I saw this show on Earth, or uh, I don't know if it was a show or just like, a thing, uh, anyway, it was this thing called 'interventions', where you like, get this group of people together and they tell the person the intervention is for that they want them to change." She might not have been explaining it very well, but hopefully Chocolate would get the gist of it. "Maybe you could try that? If you can't get them to change by yourself, at least."

LOOK LIKE YOU'VE SEEN A GHOST | CHOCO'S PL: 33,709 |
Choco rested his arms on his legs as he listened in on Nashua's answer. Her advice was something very traditional, but honestly the man was going to take anything he could get. Maybe if he did find more people close to Chamil he could somewhat get to her, though most of the people she was around these days would encourage her bad habits of murder. Either way, he nodded, and looked towards Nashua. "Well, I do thank you, I'm glad you at least listen in to my problem. I truly am sorry if it was annoying, you just happened by and I thought maybe you could help." He turned to the side and stared at the suns in sky.
Well, things were going fine, but now...he had no idea what else to talk about. There was only one thing on his mind, she did help him...so maybe it was best to be honest with her now. It was the least he could do. "I uh...I'm also sorry for something else. If it wasn't obvious by how ridiculous that alias was, my name isn't actually Chocolate. In fact, we've actually met before Nashua." He would turn back towards her, and slowly his form would change, growing horns that looked as if they were made of stars and a snout, along with fur. When he was done changing, it was clear her was a little nervous, more on the fact that he was afraid she'd probably punch him due to their previous encounter. "Hi...I'm Choco, we were on opposite sides of the fight when I first came onto Namek."
The man quickly raised both of his hands. "Now please don't attack, I'm not really looking for a fight! In fact with the advice you gave me I want to explain myself." He looked down into his lap and held both his hands together. "See uh...I'm not sure if you'd believe me, but I wasn't really looking to be an enemy to you or any of the other Saiyans. In fact I couldn't care less about the Stargoons or World Trade Fleet. Though I am also afraid my reasons for coming were a little more selfish. Chamil, the person who I would assume is the current leader of the goons, would be my cousin. I simply came here to make sure she won't die...she's extremely evil, I can see that, but she's also family. We're cousins, and back when we were young I looked up to her. I want to get that Chamil back someday...so, that would be why I'm here in the first place."
