Almost 24 hours after her fight with Chamil, Xana had just finished her recovery in her healing chamber. The water from the strange machine began to drain to through the bottom and before long, the pod opened. The engineer removed the mouthpiece as her eyes fluttered open, removing the suction pieces from her body. As the woman climbed out, she stood at the mirror in her quarters and examined her body. The burn marks on her back had almost vanished and the cuts from the many battles with Chapron were sealed to have nothing but small scars on them.
Chapron. The name rang through Xana’s mind as she grabbed a towel from the nearby rack and wrapped it around her body. Was it a dream that she was gone? The False Queen turned her body around to see the tail that was once swaying along her back was now gone, confirming that her nightmare was real. She lost everything. Xana bit her tongue and shook her head. “Now isn’t the time to mourn. You have to warn Vocado and get the others.” Xana mumbled, turning to her closet. After a bit of unsorting, the woman came out with sweat pants and an overly large tee shirt that read the words “All Hail The Queen.”
Xana made an awkward stumble to her door, brushing past knocked over devices that have been in the making that had been given up on in a whims notice. Robotic arms, scouters in the form of an eyeball, instant armor, a shield that collected energy and shot it back out, a handgun that could burn through the hardest of metals, all put down for the sake of saving the kingdom, and yet Xana couldn’t even do that. Walking out of the room and into the main hall of the Capsule building, Xana stepped with bare feet to the newly set up War Room, where she ran her hands across the wall until she came to her seat. Two seats down from the right.
Xana sat down at the gridded table and placed a hand on it, letting it register her identity. After it scanned and gave her the name she signed under, she began to set up a vision of Namek with her scouter device on. Soon enough, the planet lit up with about sixteen lights, maybe more, each one representing a power about 100. The Engineer sighed and leaned back in her chair, buzzing on her lips. This piece of work that marveled everyone a few days ago seemed so… pointless to her now. Xana felt like she couldn’t handle any of these powers now… but that wasn’t the purpose of today.
The False Queen sat up and cleared her throat, before opening the elite contact source. Anyone one was worth while in a fight was listed her, and that's where she would keep her view for a while. Some thought went through her mind, but she knew who she needed to see. She pressed a few of the contacts and leaned in a bit further as it requested an audio input.
“If you are receiving this message, please come to the War Room at your most convenient time. Thank you.” Xana said in a calm, but deadpan voice. Leaning back in the chair, Xana just sighed and closed her eyes. It was time to play the waiting game.
