Tarch PL: 40,000
“Deep breaths Tarch, deep breaths. You’re just gonna go to the vacuum of space where literally anything can go wrong and kill you in seconds. Then when you get to Namek… literally, anything can go wrong and kill you in seconds. BUT! I can find Vocado, give him a piece of my mind then… then… Well, I don’t know but I’m gonna do this!” The thirteen year old half saiyan was pacing around his space pod in a minor panic. His mind was a raging torrent of ideas of how this adventure could end in a violent and/or painful death. His pep talk turned more into hyperventilating. Luckily a gentle hand placed itself on his shoulder.
“You’ll be fine bud.” Tarch looked up to see his father smiling warmly down at him.
Tarch returned the gesture with a suspicious grin of his own. “I thought you didn’t want me to go.”
Mar knelt slightly to reach eye level with his son. “Tarch, you’ve always been a free spirit. Would I prefer you stay home? Yes, absolutely. But I know you want to be more like a saiyan. Besides you’re the strongest kid I know. Just tell King Vocado to keep a close eye on you. Else I’ll be coming up there next.”
Tarch jumped onto his father, locking him into a rib breaking hug. “Thanks dad!”
A quick grunt of pain later and he returned the hug. “I love you bud.”
“I love you too.”
After he managed to pry his son off him, Mar straightened himself up. “I better get home. I’m not sure I want to be around when your mother gets here. Be careful out there kiddo!” Even though Mar was talking about Tarch’s birth mother, the teen couldn’t help but feel a slight pang of sadness when he remembered why his stepmother couldn’t make it. Granted he did get to say his goodbyes to the two of them, but Tsuda was busy tending to her father, who was having a rougher day than most.
Now Tarch was left alone, waiting for Kohlra or whoever else decided to see him off to the home of the Namekians, as well as his mentor's current location.
A departure thread for the number one child on site. Open to all but prefer those who know him and just want to have anice moment before he leaves.

Cobalt PL: 10k
"Heeeyyy, Tarch!"
Called out an obviously frazzled looking Cobalt as he touched down near the Saiyan boy. He had been inactive and distant lately, ever since a couple of somewhat recent incidents happening in his short life, but he made sure to be there for Tarch before he left Earth. "Okay, good. I'm not late, then...So...you're leaving for Namek, huh? My databanks don't have too much on the place, but I hope your trek there will be safe and not too boring, heh...You're one of the few friends I've got left, and it better stay that way." Cobalt tried to playfully push his shoulder, hopefully not coming off too strong. He had a sad look on his face, and eyes filled with regret for abandoning them for a while. "Make sure to come back and tell me all about your trip, all right? Spare no details." He cracked a small smile and held out his hand for a shake.
ffs, I've made myself all sad.

The half breed’s head perked up upon hearing his name called. The question was, who was it? Tarch tried his best but just couldn’t sense any energy signatures nearby. Was he hearing things? He’d smile however when he was proven wrong. A face he hadn’t seen in a while, but very welcome. “Hey Cobalt!” Tarch would call back. That would explain why he of all people couldn’t sense anything. Its tough, if not impossible to pick up on artificially made ki for whatever reason. Still didn’t lessen how nice it was to see an unexpected but friendly face before he left. He did feel a small pang of guilt and sadness when the android mentioned how Tarch was one of the few friends he had remaining. The saiyan returned with his own playful push to his shoulder, smiling warmly. “Don’t you worry, I’ll be sure to come back in one piece. You just make sure you stay in one piece yourself! It’d be hard to tell you all about it otherwise,” he joked. An idea then crossed Tarch’s mind, a possible way to introduce his robotic friend to some more people. “You know… I’m not leaving for a good bit. I’m actually waiting for my mom and or sister to drop by first. Why you don’t you hang around for a bit? My mom is a little… tough, but my sister is nice. Plus maybe a few others might pop by too. Could be fun?” Of course, being a usually shy child himself, Tarch could understand any possible trepidation. So he made sure to provide a decent alternative in the meantime. “Until then we can chat and catch up a bit! I feel like it's been forever since I saw you.” The saiyan plopped himself into a sitting position, holding himself up by his tail. Sorry for the delay, wanted to see if anyone else showed up cough Kohlra
