The location was the same location on where they first had met, in the base of the FPR. Thaw was making his living conditions in his own private quarters after having arrived to the base. The condition of his room was spotless without a piece of dust or lint anywhere to be found. The wall mirror in the room was indeed spotless and his bed was fixed military style and perfect without a wrinkle to ruin its composure. Thaw stood proud in his private quarters and looked at it with glee.
Thaw admiring his room in idle, heard a small knock against the door as he turned his body 3/4 and looked over the shoulder. It was a FPR sentry coming to relay him some information.
"Training starts today. Head over there."
Thaw nodded and the sentry went about his business. Thaw leaving the room and turning off the lights to his private quarters and closing the door right behind him. He then headed straight to the training area and the much older sentries that saw him, were all shock and still hard to believe that he was still alive after the incident. Having arrived on time, he was told to stand at the opposite end of the room and to wait for his opponent. He wasn't sure who his opponent would be, but he was definitely anxious to say the least on who it may be. He folded his arms across his chest and looked ahead at the other end of the room with a smirk.

Ki Suppression [UT]: Active
Today was going to be a simple sort of mission. Ledinjin had to figure out how capable Thaw was, so what he had Thaw do was stay at the underground base over in the Sleepy East. The next day, they would be heading over to the North East, towards some plains where Ledinjin knew they could train in peace. He had sent Vicarous back over to the main base with the Iceberg, Ledinjin himself knowing he could get back on his own.
He'd told Thaw the information, not specifying whom he'd be training with. However, he did say that it'd be worth it! A sentry was told as well to notify him in the morning, just to be sure. Couldn't have this kid come back and be lax just because he was with familiar faces. He had to be ready in case there was an attack somewhere their allies were at!
Ledinjin had been not far behind the sentry and Thaw, nodding to the sentry as he exited the room. Ledinjin went in right after and stated, "Good morning. I trust you slept well?"
He walked up to Thaw and held up his hand for Thaw to shake it.
"Are you ready to get moving to the training area?"
Thaw looked to the individual who had entered the room and recognizing the appearance of said individual and his voice, he smirked at his comment of sleeping well.
"Yes sir, and my bed and everything else in the room is spotless to a T."
Thaw was always an organized individual to the point where if a pencil on the desk wasn't align with the others, it would bother him dearly. He had his arms to his back now, waiting for his superior to come to him since he saw him walking towards his direction. Now standing before him, he brought his hand to shake his, and Thaw brought his arms back to his side and shook Frost's hand firmly in a sign of respect and dignity. Upon releasing the grip and placing his arms back to behind his back. He looked to his superior with a smile of genuine.
"Sir, I know I have been gone for sometime.."
While he said this, if Frost chose to take a walk with him to the training destination, Thaw would follow suit side by side with him and with his arms to his back if he chose to walk while talking.
"During my absents, I have gone to several planets that the WTF have conquered throughout the years. I have been on planets where there was nothing left but a barren wasteland to those that disagreed with them conquering the planet over. Basically a war had broken out based on the bodies that remained behind. There were other planets where the WTF were struggling with conquering the planets and they had set up base camps all around the planet which I helped locals conquer the planet back from the WTF. And lastly, there were planets that the WTF had full control over. With those planets in particular, I had to survive of the land and attack their minor bases. That's how I got stronger in the process and was able to take back the planet. However sir, in one planet in particular.. One of the officers in charge of that planet had mentioned a named that I never had heard about prior to the incident. He mentioned an individual by the name of Boreal... I was told that he was a man to be feared but I didn't think nothing of it until I saw you and your power level."
He pondered his thoughts briefly, before continuing to speak to Frost again.
"Do you think.."
Thaw was having trouble making his thoughts clear in the form of speech and finally decided to speak about it with hesitation in his voice.
"Have you ever heard of this man before? and if so, do you think we have a chance at beating him?"
The only reason he had thought about this, is because of what that soldier had told him years prior.
"The soldier had told me, that I was out of my league if I thought that I was capable of taking him on single handedly. Normally I wouldn't have thought nothing much of it, But could it be possible that someone who is around my age, be stronger than you...."

Thaw shook Ledinjin's hand with both of his. The old Arcosian nodded, saying, "I see you're anxious to get started on this training! We'll be started soon, for sure. We just have to travel to our next destination."
A list of details, soon after, came from Thaw. What he learned from the soldiers he beat down, using his power. At one point, at an unknown base, he did manage to overhear the name of Boreal and he had to ask whom he was. Ledinjin nodded, a chill starting at the top of his neck.
"Boreal," Ledinjin began, putting his hands behind his back as he paced towards the door. There were many stories Ledinjin heard personally himself, but having met him directly with Thaw and Vicarous, they didn't hold a candle. He explained, "Boreal is someone in an extreme realm of power. Those stories you've heard, and the stories I've heard... They do not compare. I told you I met him, yes?"
He gestured a hand to the door with his inquiry. He continued only seconds after, leaving not enough time for Thaw to speak, "He is the reason for my declaration of this training. If I had chosen to fight him when I initiated the advertisements against the WTF and for the FPR in the North City, he would have endangered the city, eliminated the FPR off the planet, and caused the WTF to become stronger. Any resistance would be gone... Thus, we need to become stronger."
After hearing what Frost had to say about Boreal and entering the door that he gestured him into. Thaw had sweat dripping down his face. The shock factor that someone who was an arcosian, to be stronger than Frost himself, had Thaw worried about the organization as a whole. Upon entering the room and waiting further instructions from Frost, he nervously swallowed spit and became determined and anger at the same time.
"I must tell you something...."
He looked over his shoulder like a frighten child was about to tell his parents something and after conjuring up his thought process and how he was going to relay this information, he muscled up the confidence to do so.
"If we ever, and I mean ever, encounter Boreal with you, myself, and Gelu. I want you to protect Gelu if you had to choose to save only one of us from death."
His frighten factor, turned into a sharp stern look for his admiration and love for his younger brother. He had the confidence of wanting to get stronger than Frost and was ready to do it with this training.
"I'm ready for this training, hopefully I won't disappoint you.

Thaw walked out the door, a nervous sweat developing on him that Ledinjin saw. They entered the hallway outside, Thaw stopping there and stating a desperate plea. Ledinjin pondered in his head, 'Is his willpower truly so dwindled after all this time on his own?'
He spoke aloud, "Thaw, that is the purpose of training you and your brother now. It is why we are trying to gather more people to our side. We aren't on some do or die mission. We are making a new future!"
Thaw declared he was ready for the training. The old man smiled and waved for him to follow down the hallway. They weren't anywhere near where they were going to train and there was sound reason to train here in the base! Should they follow, they'd exit through the head entrance above, which was built into a very large boulder. It was where the WTF had originally built the base's entrance. They had simply built upon the place and the old man preferred to keep it as long as possible.
Thaw understand what Frost had to say, however, at the same time there are even those who are stronger than he is. Thaw followed Frost right behind him and kept his arms to his back like he always had done.
"Training is effective no matter what, but there are those out there who are even stronger than us Frost. The fact that someone is around my age and is far stronger than I am.. It scares me to say that we must go beyond our limits if we truly want to go beyond our capabilities... Everyday was a struggle for my survival.. it wasn't that I trained to get this strong, its because I made sure I survived out there that made me strong."
He look to Frost and still continued to follow suit.

"Because you fought to survive, my boy," Ledinjin replied to Thaw, after rising up a large platform to the main entrance of the bunker, "You've opened up your body and mind to developing so much more! You should be able to get past their level in no time. Keep in mind, Boreal's just a few years older than you are. You can match him."
The doors opened up just enough to let Ledinjin and Thaw sprint out the doors. They were still in the darkness of the day's fifth hour in the region. Not a single soul would be able to perceive them normally rushing to the north. No dust cloud developed behind them due to their carefully restrained energies. In the first twenty seconds, they were already far beyond visual sight of the base. In the next four minutes and forty seconds, they were two dozen kilometers away from the entrance!
"Alright, this is the spot," Ledinjin signaled with a wave of his hand. He stopped, releasing a breath as he looked around. There weren't any rocks around. Just grass that was up to, at most, Ledinjin's knee. The old man looked to Thaw, sliding his fingers together to crack them, only to unintentionally crack his elbows! Ledinjin blinked and looked at them both, muttering, "I think I'll be needing a couple of minutes to stretch these old bones. However, if you're ready to go, come at me."
Thaw hearing that he was just a few years in age when it came to himself and Boreal.
"I see, then i will get stronger in order to cover the gap between us then."
Then the doors had opened, and the both of them were sprinting for a few minutes before they came to a stop. Frost had mentioned that he had to crack a few of his old bones but that he was ready to fight him now. Thaw floating into the air and having hand to his chin and the other behind his back and being a few distance back as he started to calculate a strategy in order to defeat the boss. Looking to the left of the boss and to the right didn't seem to matter, all that was around him was the tall kneed grass. He sighed in disbelief wondering why he chose this place out of all things to train in.
However he didn't ponder the thought much longer since Frost was doing his stretches and it was at this point where Thaw had the advantage point and thus, started his tactics within seconds. Bringing both his arms out in a quick succession , he fired several ki blast all around Frost in an attempt to distract him at Thaw's bad aiming. The surroundings of Frost started to build up the grass all around him as they blew his ways from all sorts of directions, trying to obscure his vision by this means. Along this the grass problem, the smoke would also start to form at this point, allowing Thaw to activate his ki suppression.
He then shot his way straight to Frost and formed his signature and famous orange ki blades in both his hands as he entered one of the tall grass and entered a leaned forward and making his body appear smaller in the grass then it usually needed to be in order to hide in this tall grass. He perform a ninja like run and tried rushing right behind Frost and launched his body straight at him, attempting to strike him in the lower and upper back with both hands.

Thaw's first actin was to observe their environment. It wasn't very special, but there were ways of making use of it to gain an advantage on someone! Ledinjin dipped out of the way of a couple of blasts directed at him, while so many others simply lit up the field and created a smoke. The first thing Thaw did was this was simple: Hide. His energy dropped next to nothing as he did so!
"Ah, a good move, Thaw! Obstruct the senses," Ledinjin called out, raising his fists up to head level, "And wait for an opportunity... Let's see how you do."
Not very long afterwards, Thaw revealed his position through usage of his energy! Blades formed, he rushed at Ledinjin quickly. He was taller, but he certainly lacked the experience. The attack was a lunging, aimed at the upper and lower parts of his torso. It was clear he was aiming for his back, but he revealed himself too early!
To counter this reckless charge, Ledinjin dropped down low, using a hand to help make himself parallel with the ground. The old Arcosian did feel the heat coming from the blades crossing over, giving Ledinjin the time to whip the tail upwards, into Thaw's abdomen. It carried enough force to knock Thaw up into the sky and create distance for a moment!
Frost was rather impressed of his movements however, it was not but false hope as he missed his target. He grunted at this failed attempted and watched as the tail of frost heading straight for him. The impact to his stomach with the tail definitely left a rash mark on his stomach as he flew to the air just briefly before entering his brute transformation. He grew slightly taller and weighing a bit more as he rush over to him once more and with both hands sporting the orange ki blade, he attempted to once again put some damage to the boss by attempting to slash his back.
"How about this!"
He had hoped that this would be enough to give him the advantage and with a smirk on his face, he didn't know what was going to happen.

The hit connected! Thaw took a nasty hit to his abdomen and was rising rapidly up. However, he halted himself and raised his power level to Ledinjin's level with his brute form! The old man spun like a top as Thaw came down with a mighty blade of energy. Ledinjin coated his right arm with his own green energy to guard against the attack.
The force of the two energies clashing created a shockwave that blew away the fires. However, in doing so, a crater developed under Frost that went down a few meters with a very wide diameter! Ledinjin was still standing, hunched over as he held Thaw's enlarge form above with his forearm.
"Again, good try... But I am what martial artists would call a grand master, Thaw! You'll have to do more than brute your way to victory!"
Ledinjin had been developing his family's martial art, the Eps Purah Kahnsh, for many years now. It was an aggressive style adapted by Earth's Muay Thai that was adapted for Arcosian physiology. He'd been able to increase the amount of energy put into the style beyond his 100% and had been in the midst of developing it even beyond that! Going against Thaw's energy blade was a feat easy to Ledinjin. He pushed back with incredible physical strength, aiming to knock Thaw back enough to engage in a rapid combo at his torso!
Ledinjin uses Eps Purah Kahnsh (Fist Technique, Level 1) to counteract the Orange Ki Blade N1. Both techniques negate each other.
KP: 2/3 from 3/3
Last Edit: Oct 20, 2018 20:47:20 GMT -6 by Ledinjin Frost: Removing duplicated words.
Their attacks had both canceled each other out and this only angered Thaw in the process. What seemed like a battle of rivalry in Thaw's own head, was really a battle between an adult verses a child. Thaw was anger at this childish game and decided to close both his eyes and go into his monstrous form in order to show Frost on how strong he truly was but no show the full extent of his power just yet. His body had gain in pounds and his exoskeleton of a head also expanded in the process. When Frost was going to push him, Thaw vanished with ease and appeared just a few feet behind Frost and started to dash around him in a full sprint circle. His speed was beyond compared to what it was before. The speed was so intense that if Frost didn't match it, he would only see grass pedals, dust, along with the wind pressure all at once being left over as he kept this continued 360 around the boss. He spoke while he did this movement.
"I will show you what I have learned all this time boss!"
While he did his continued run, he also entered his true form during this process and this only made the running speed around Frost that much more intense in the process. The winds double in speed, along with the grass and debris and smoke in the process. While this seemed like a same routine pattern, it all of a sudden stopped as he appeared right underneath Frost and in front of him as both his hands were planted on the ground as he extended a strong right upward kick to his chin, if successful, Thaw would then follow him up and with his orange blade in his right hand, he would attempt to stab Frost in the stomach with great power than it was before!

An all too familiar sensation of anger mixed in with Thaw's energy. Yanwang, a very hairy individual that Ledinjin and Vicarous had the pleasure of meeting and training with in the Northern Mountains, had this very same mentality. Although, this seemed to just fuel Thaw into entering his monstrous form to counter Ledinjin's assault!
'That could use a little finesse,' Ledinjin thought to himself, attempting to block some of the attacks Thaw was launching at him, to no avail, 'But good usage of energy... Shit, this hurts!'
Thaw's energy rose even higher in this assault! It left with Ledinjin with only one option, just as Thaw summoned forth that powerful energy of his: He had to assume the Monstrous form. Frost's form cracked and bulged, his mouth elongating into a crocodilian-fashion, sharp teeth included! His antlers doubled in size and developed several more points, while his body increased in size by fifty percent. His once whip-like tail became thick and sturdy. On top of this massive transformation, Ledinjin's power quadrupled, going beyond Thaw's level.
"You've rushed your power too much," Ledinjin bellowed with a deep rasp. He rushed towards Thaw and launched his left elbow at Thaw's incoming swing. It was wreathed in a bountiful amount of energy that, upon clashing with Thaw's blade, shattered the blade. Although greatly diminished, the attack carried through, motioning to practically stab Thaw with the empowered elbow. Upon contact, it'd launch Thaw back a great distance, to leave the monstrous Frost standing back inside crater, heavily huffing air in! Thaw was doing good so far, but if Ledinjin took this any further, it wouldn't be good testing grounds for the younger Arcosian.
Ledinjin takes the barrage of melee strikes, being overwhelmed at first. Sensing Thaw went beyond his monstrous form, Ledinjin hurriedly assumes his Monstrous form, putting him at a power level of 194,240. He uses Eps Purah Kahnsh, Level 2 (Fist Technique, UP2), via his Elbow, to counter and break the Orange Ki Blade UP2. With a PL of 129,493 and 1/3 (rounding down to 129,493), this is leaving behind a remainder PL of 30,493 (rounded down) to smash into Thaw's chest and launch him backwards!
His blade had shattered into nothing but aura once again as he looked into Led's face disbelief of how he could of countered his speed. He then met with an elbow to his chest, causing him to fly far back and against the grass as he laid their like a possum and pretending to be knocked out by such a blow. He continued to lay there to the point where upon landing he would deactivate to his suppressive form. His back was also facing against Frost and his right arm was tucked and concealed by his body. If Frost took the bait and actually walked over to check on him, Thaw would then make his move by vanishing and attempt to stab him in the back with his orange ki blade if the plan had succeeded.
Deactivated to suppressive form and pretending to be knocked out. Base is 25,000 pl.
