Powerlevel:18,000 Typha walked over looking at the Namekian warriors. He had been in one of the villages helping out. It was an atonement of sorts. For all the people that were lost because of his failing. It had mostly been getting water for the elderly or playing with the young kids. Today was different though. He had known enough about the fighting that was going on the planet. Of course, other Namekian knew about it too. He was training with some of the younger warriors. It the least he could do to help these people. Sooner or later they may get dragged to a side. He was staring at one of the warriors who got into a fighting stance. Typha had gotten into his stance as well his sword left on a small tree stump.
The man charged forward throwing a punch forward. Typha had caught the blow before kicking him in the leg. The Namekian slid back. "You're too straightforward," Typha called out to the Namekian. The Namekian sent a barrage of blows which Typha leaped away from. Before they could keep going another Namekian came over, "The Elder called a meeting we need to go." The Namekian warrior bowed his head and walked off. Typha sat on the tree stump looking towards the village. Now he was all alone out there. Sooner or later though there may be trouble. he wanted to help them so they didn't end up like his people. Trouble lurked around every corner. They could be safe today but tomorrow they could be fighting for their lives. His focus turned to try to figure out the best way to help train the warriors in this village. He was a Swordsman and a commander, not a battlemaster. He was not the best at training other people to be good fighters. So he sat and tried to figure this out while his mechanical eye scanned for any powerlevel that may come to the village.

Tarch PL: 50,000
Now, this was the distraction Tarch needed. It was never easy for anyone to learn what a war really was and what it entailed. All of the death, destruction, just loss with nothing to show for it. It is a lot for anyone of any age to take in. So for an otherwise sheltered thirteen year old child, the whole situation was just far too heavy. Luckily Namek wasn’t just a war torn hellscape of saiyans and arcosians trying to murder each other. It was also full of peace loving namekians who wanted nothing more than to go about their days in peace and quiet. So wanting a bit of the same, Tarch spent the day in one of the villages in the mainland.
It turned out he was a complete hit with the kids. The exceptionally young Namekians would play with Tarch’s tail, while the ones closer to his age would go a few rounds in all kinds of different card games. Of course, as luck would have it, Tarch wasn’t the only outsider enjoying a stay in the town. One of the namekian children hopped up and down, pointing out his older brother fighting a chalky skinned alien. At first, the half breed’s face went stark white, worried there was an actual battle taking place nearby. With a burst of speed, Tarch left behind a static image of his exasperated look. Luckily as he homed in on the power source, he’d see a very refreshing sight. A quick and honest spar between a namekian and an alien race the boy had never seen before. Tarch took a deep sigh of relief, honestly elated to see someone fighting for something other than a brutal slaughter fest. It was short lived though. The namekian seemed more inexperienced than himself, coupled with his opponents higher power level. The only downside was the alien man seemed rather put off by the whole thing.
Tarch couldn’t help but casually stride over to the fighter, hoping he could help in some way. “Uh, h-hello there.” As usual, he still wasn’t great with new people, specifically those older than himself. “You look kind of down. Need help with something?” He wasn’t sure what it was, but this man had a very welcoming feel about him. Maybe it was just nice seeing someone who didn’t want Tarch dead or off the planet that put his mind at ease.
HAHA! you thought I’d jump in with the battle master Prince Riis? Think again! It is the #1 child on site: TARCH!

Typha looked up as his scouter beeped. There was someone who was around. 50,000 was an even high battle level then Kayen. He wondered if it might have been her but it was not. It was a young man. He'd look at Tarch. He was asking why he looked kind of down. He'd raise an eye to him. "Ah. I'm was just helping some of the warriors of this tribe. There has been a lot of conflict on this planet. I have been helping around here. Considering they know about the WTF and the Saiyan Kingdom getting ready to fight. Some of the people are worried and their not strong enough to defeat them if they attacked them. While I think they're focused on each other the winner may use that advantage to establish an empire." Typha explained to the young man.
He was unsure if he really would understand the concept. He was like...12...13. He could not really tell. Still, he had to answer if he needed help. He only explained what he was doing. Not if he needed help. "As for help. I don't need any. Though it is nice to see someone who would be kind enough to ask." He'd bow his head to the boy. The boy seemed nice enough. Nothing really put him in a sense of caution. Kids were always a good sight. They didn't see the horrors of the world yet. Then agian his scouter told him that this young man probably had seen a lot more then he had. 50,000 was not a powerlevel achieved without strife and training.

Any trepidation the shy boy had soon evaporated. The man just had a very warm and gentle air about him, making Tarch feel very comfortable around him. So he made himself comfortable, sitting in the air across from the alien using his tail as a makeshift seat. He nodded along with his explanation of his situation, trying to get a grip on what he was saying. Unfortunately, Tarch was getting a clearer picture as his time on Namek went on, knowing what the alien could have possibly meant. “Yeah,” he sighed looking back at the village. “Seems like these guys just want to live their lives. I don’t really know what’s going on here, but I know it’s not pretty."
The alien went on to assure the teen that he didn’t require any help, leaving said hybrid with a relieved smile. “That’s good. To be honest I’m not sure how I could’ve helped with… well, anything around here. It's all so…” He stopped dead in his sentence. He barely knew what he was doing on this planet himself, let alone what two warring factions were doing besides, well, war. Where did he even fit in all this? For the life of him, Tarch could not think of the right word to describe the situation on Namek. So he could only hope to summarize as best as possible. “Whatever it is, I don’t like it. But I know I got to be here. I need to find Mr. Vocado and knock some sense into him. Give him a piece of my mind.” The young fighter then realized he was beginning to ramble to a complete stranger, likely leaving him confused. “Oh! My name is Tarch by the way. It's nice to meet you.”

Tarch made a note that these people just wanted to live their lives, "Yah I agree. Yet, now they have war at their doorstep. Even if they are not apart of they can't walk without looking over the shoulder. So I do what I can. If someone bad does happen they must be ready to fight." Typha explained with a frown. It was bad but it could be worse. At least if they could defend themselves. It'd be better that way than just watching their friends and family die. The boy seemed confused as he said he was unsure how to help with something. He must have been here before, watching him spar with the Namekian. That made sense. Still, he was surprised he didn't pick him on his scouter.
The boy began to explain why he was here. He raised an eyebrow at the mention of Vocado. It was a Saiyan name but he didn't know who that was. Furthermore, if he was looking for him he was assuming this boy was a Saiyan. He further explained that he was trying to give that man a piece of his mind. "You know someone named Kayen?" He'd ask, Kayen was looking for someone. Maybe this boy was looking for the same person. Maybe they had some grudge against him. Maybe he ruled over the saiyan with an iron fist. Or maybe he harmed other saiyans in some way. The boy then told his name. Tarch was a nice name. He knew he had to give his name as well. "I am Typha. It is nice to meet you. I hope you are doing well so far on this planet."

Tarch had nothing to say when the man brought up all of the hardship the Namekians had to go through. It wasn’t that he didn’t care or simply had nothing to say. In fact, Tarch had so much he wanted to say but his mind was just a sea of confusion and somber anger. Hell, the kid barely knew what was going on except that it was pretty much bad for anyone that wasn’t the winner in this messed up situation. Not to mention, as almost every saiyan mentioned, he was just getting in the way by trying to hunt down the actual king of the saiyans, who were one of the major factors in this war. Still, Tarch knew he had to stay, at least until the king himself sent him home… likely by force.
The half saiyan teen did have something to say in response to knowing a saiyan named Kayen, a fat no, unfortunately. “No, I don’t think I ever met anyone named Kayen… I think my mom might have mentioned someone with that name once though?” The man then introduced himself as Typha, a bit of an odd name, making the boy wonder what his home planet was. First, though he had to answer his question. “Well, I love getting to explore a whole new planet. That’s gotta be the coolest thing I’ve done… ever!” Finally, Tarch was finding some of his usual excitement, his voice taking its usual cheery tone. “The Namekians are REALLY nice too. I mean its a bit of a… simple place? Like compared to Earth with our computers and stuff. Still, these guys know how to have fun without all that. Plus it’s still warm here, which means I can take a nice swim. Just have to fight off a giant crab or two.”
Of course, his trip wasn’t all sunshine lollipops and rainbows everywhere. His tone shifted back to a more upset and serious vibe. “Then there’s everything else… I’ve been attacked by these World Trade Fleet guys like three times. Any of the saiyans I run into from the kingdom have tried to send me back home. I learned that Mr. Vocado actually ordered them to get me off this planet. It's like neither side wants me here! I just want to show Mr. Vocado I can be useful to him! He didn’t have to just leave me behind!” Tarch then realized he was ranting like a mad lunatic to a complete and total stranger. He gave a nervous chuckled, scratching the back of his head uncomfortably. “Oh! I’m sorry Mr. Typha. I kind of got carried away.” The hybrid decided to see what brought his new friend here instead. “What about you though. If it's not anything super personal, what are you going on Namek?”

Tarch seemed to not know who Kayen was. He did hear the name once from his mother. Prehaps his mother knew Kayen. It was possible both of them were on the hunt for this Vocado. That was what he was gathering from all of this anyway. Still, he could not be sure. He'd keep that knowledge just in case. Vocado seemed important and if that was her target he could use that info. He talked about how he wanted to explore this planet. That seemed fine, though he didn't think this was the best time to be exploring one. With fighting brewing and all. Then again the boy seemed quite strong he'd be able to handle himself. He explained that he was from Earth. So he must have been an earthling? That was what he assumed anyway.
All this cheerfulness took a turn as he seemed to be upset. Soon it became clear as he was being attacked by the WTF and the Saiyan's wanted to send him home. Vocado had even ordered him to get off this planet. That was a shame. He could see why though. It may become a war zone. They didn't want a young kid fighting. Though he also felt if he wanted to fight he had the right. "Well. I can understand why they want to send you home." Typha explained. "There is a war brewing and they don't want you in the crossfire. You're more than able to fight but there are horrors of war. Once you see them you won't be the same. I know. Things change one you fight in battle and war." He'd remember how he felt when he killed his first man. IT was a famous Konstian murder. He felt so hollow. As if part of his soul had been ripped out. He was not the same idealistic man he was after that.
The boy apologized for what he said as he laughed a bit deciding to leave the mellow stuff. "It is quite alright. It is good to push your emotions out. Keeping them bottled up is bad for us all." Typha smiled as he asked why he was here. "Ah, that is a good question." Typha hummed. "My people were in a war. Many people died so I came here to find a way to bring them back. After careful though however, I've become more focused on just expanding myself. Becoming a better person. When I return I want my people to know that they will be safe from all threats. At home and Abroad." Typha explained to Tarch. Hopefully, he didn't scare the boy. Some of what he said was quite heavy.

You would think Tarch would know better by now. So far every adult he told had the same exact reaction. Each and everyone one he told, from saiyan kingdom members to Namekian Elders, and now even aliens from whole other worlds. While some were a lot nicer than others, their opinions were all similar. Going home would be the best idea. Tarch shook his head frustratedly. His fingers ran through his black mess of hair as he was once again given vague reasons why Namek was the worst place he could be right now. “I don’t get it!” he shouted, not angrily but tiredly. “Everybody says how bad things are, but not why! If it's so bad then why can’t I help Mr. Vocado!” It was clear Tarch was projecting his problem slightly. This time the teen felt like he owed a much more rational apology. “I didn’t mean to take that out on you Mr. Typha, it’s just so many people say the same exact thing but no one tells me why. I just want to understand.” Of course, the hell that is war is not something any teenager or anyone, in general, should have to know, let alone want to know. But he was a child, still maturing and didn’t understand how much he would regret it if he ever really learned about the actual terror looming behind the battles.
Luckily, or at least arguably so, Tarch would get just a small taste of what he was looking for. His anger slowly faded into a mournful frown, the frustrated energy in his eyes dying down to a somber stare. This man lost so many of his friends, possibly family on his home planet. But Tarch knew people died in war. What he didn’t know was that people were killed in a war. “I… I’m sorry Mr. Typha. I hope you can help your people.” He’d be apologizing for the third time today.
Now more than ever the half saiyan teenager felt the most out of place in this fight than before. He rubbed his face in his hands, groaning softly. This man knew what he was here for, and knew where he fell in the war. What about Tarch? The hybrid in question plopped himself onto the ground, letting himself stare up at the clear green sky. “I guess I just… I feel like I owe Mr. Vocado… or at least I did. I still think he is an absolute jerk for leaving me behind after promising to take me with him. I know I’m still gonna give him a piece of my mind… but then what you know? I still want to help him and I still want him to teach me. I guess I just feel kind of… stuck you know?” Suddenly for the first time in a while, Tarch was able to vent all of his biggest issues, and with a stranger no less.

He'd was taken back by Tarch slightly as he explained that he didn't know why. People were not telling them but not why they were so bad. Typha sighed, the boy deserved to know. "On this planet, their this orbs called the Dragonballs," Typha explained raising his fingers till he had seven up. "These Seven orbs are used to Soummon a powerful Dragon. That what the stories suggest anyway. You can be granted one wish from this dragon. This is something almost anyone who desires. Your people must know this and have come to claim them. However, that means other forces like the WTF have arrived on the planet. This may lead to conflict or a battle. I think he just not want to get you involved. As strong as you are, there is a chance when you fight for your life. An Emptiness that fills your soul when you kill someone." He'd look in seriously for a moment thinking about all the people he had killed or all the people he had watched died without him able to do a thing.
Typha turned to look away a bit to gain some composure. He was thinking about all them agian. All the people he let down. He could accept he had failed. He could not accept how badly he did however, that was not going to be something he'd live down. Always remembering that the reason he buried so many of his people was that he had made one mistake. It was the hardest pill of all to swallow. He'd finally turn back around as Tarch seemed kind and hoped he could help them. "Thanks. I do to a kid." He'd smile at Tarch. He then was explaining his feelings. He felt like he owed him though he still was quite mad it seemed about being left behind. He didn't know what to do. Typha sighed a bit, "I think Vocado was doing what he thought was best for you. He thought this would be not placed for you. However, it is your choice to stay here and fight. You just should know you're risking a lot by doing it and it may not for the best. Not because your weak but just the change you may go over." Typha explained to Tarch. Hopefully, he understood that.

The teen propped himself up onto his elbows, being sure to give Typha his full attention as he explained the situation. The whole thing sounded so simple, two armies fighting for the power to make a wish. “The Dragon Balls huh? You know, I think I remember hearing about the ones on Earth. Guess they really aren’t working if we had to drag ourselves halfway across the galaxy just to find a working set.” Tarch pushed himself back up, sitting but in the air being held up by his tail. Finally, Tarch felt like someone was taking him seriously. Typha mentioned how his mentor may just want to save Tarch from being put into a situation he may not be able to physically, or somehow emotionally come back from.
There was just one problem with all this. Tarch rubbed his head, trying to process all this. “I… still don’t quite understand it.” the poor boy was just too young to comprehend what a struggle for your life entailed. “I mean, I remember seeing a dead body when I saw Mr. Cress which was… just,” Tarch gave an unsettled shudder. “But I didn’t see the fight itself… so I think I kind of get what you mean… but I don’t know I think I’m missing something.” Of course, Typha went on to suggest that the saiyan king was simply looking out for his student. To this Tarch huffed, though gave Typha an apologetic stare. “I’m sorry. I actually think you might be right… but he could have said something you know. Besides, if I give up on telling him that then I may as well go home.” Tarch then smiled at the alien, “Thank you, Mr. Typha… By the way, if you don’t mind me asking; where are you from? You look kind of human, but a lot more pale, and your ears look more like one of those elves in my fantasy books. Are you a space elf?” This was a question that was slowly cooking on the back burner of Tarch’s mind. Now that he was able to have his own more pressing thoughts attended to, he figured now was the best time to ask.

"Yes. Earth I thought had the dragonballs. When I went their a local man explained that they had disspeared. Hopefully, this will be true. If I can find them and help my people. That is the best thing I can do." Typha said bowing his head to Tarch. The boy was not only a wealth of information. The boy explained however that yes he had seen a dead body once but he had not seen how it happened. This Cress didn't like a good fellow. He'd have to keep an eye for him if he did come around. he didn't want to run into that trouble. He was still unsure how he really stacked up. Kayen seemed to be the strongest of the saiyans. In her base, he could handle her but if she could really become an Ozzaru at will he'd have not much to answer with. At beast he could flee at worst he'd be dead. Not much in the way of good options.
Tarch noted that he thought he might be right. He seemed to think he was right about his problem. Though now he wanted to know where he had come from. He said he looked a lot like a human and he asked if he was a space elf. He'd chuckle a bit. "You look human yourself. I suppose many of our kinds maybe come all the same race. As for being a space elf, I suppose you can call our people that. Our true name is the Konstian. We live in a desert world called Konats with the wonders of magic and swordsmanship." Typha said thinking about his people. It was a wonderful place indeed. "My people have always been a tough going and surviving type. It is harsh out there where I live but it lets us get strong. It makes us tough." Typha said then laughed a bit agian, "Though I can't say I am as tough as you. You're young and strong. One day in the future I know whoever says you cannot fight will be more than willing to let you fight. Cause you got the strength in bunches." Typha explained to Tarch.

“Woah,” was all Tarch could think to say at first. Being an avid Dungeons and Dragon Balls player, he always liked the idea of elves, and dwarves, and goblins, and all those other creatures falling under the mystical category. Now here he was not only meeting what was essentially a real live elf but a space desert elf. Of course, he did want to be polite and would at least try to pronounce their true name. “So you’re called Kono… Kanots… Konstan… Sorry, I’ve learned I’m not great at alien names. I have a sister… well half sister who’s a race I think I saw only once in my entire life. That one is easy though, she’s half Horon.... No that’s not right…” For a few minutes, the teen would wrack his brain trying to remember the name of his sisters non saiyan heritage.
“Well at any rate!” Tarch continued, hoping he didn’t embarrass himself too badly. “It sounds like your people are really strong. Can you guys transform like us? I hear Saiyans can transform into things besides Giant Monkeys but to be honest I have no idea about that stuff. Plus I’m only half saiyan. I mean I look like any regular saiyan except for these blue eyes,” he commented, pulling at his bottom lids with one finger to point out his obviously human feature.
Typha would go on to describe a bit more about his people, speaking of how his people were used to living in harsh conditions, making both him and the other Konatsians a very hardy race. Tarch would blush when he’d compliment his own strength, saying how his doesn’t come close. “Aww, well. I’m not all that strong. I mean I can barely fly if I go too high. Plus I need to work on how well I can take a hit. I’m sure you know how to fight better than I would.” Tarch would peer at Typha’s side, another bright smile taking him. “Besides you have that cool sword and you’re magic! I can’t do anything magical. I mean I can sense people I know from across a planet but I’m not sure that counts.” The one thing Tarch couldn’t help but brag about was his sharp sensing. “Though lately my sensing has been all out of wack. Nothing too bad just a little fuzzy sometimes. Anyways, I bet you can fight ten times better than I could. I'm still learning how really.”

The boy seemed surprised about something. He really had no idea what was so shocking but he just stood them and waited for him to speak. Tarch finally seemed to get his voice back as he was trying to say the planet name. "Don't worry. Konatsian is rare. Our people don't usually leave our home planet. I only left because of the crisis I spoke about." He'd explain to Tarch. He'd probably never even heard of species till today. No need to be mad about it. He did note he had a half-sister from Horan race? He really had no idea what species that was. So he decided to nod his head. "Mhm." He'd mutter as he listened to Tarch speaks.
The boy wanted to know then could they transform. "Only a select cast of them can. Though transformation not really a good word." He decided to leave it at that. He didn't wanna describe how some people were cursed with monsters lurking deep in their souls and hearts just waiting to be released. That might not be a good look, plus the boy didn't need to know that. He talked about how saiyans could become Ozzaru but he seemed unsure of any other form. Since he was half saiyan maybe he could not become it. That how he understood it anyway. "Mhm. I'm sure you can ascent past the Ozzaru. I've heard stories of the great form beyond the Ozzaru. The Super Saiyan they call it." Typha said his hand on his chin. He had only heard stories of its power. He could not imagine anyone ever reaching that form, it was a story. Tarch seemed to underestimate himself thinking he was not that strong. He'd shook his head. "You're very strong. Sure, your training and your skill may not be up there. You will get better with time. As for me, well. I'd not consider myself that skilled. I train hard and that what you have to do too but can't just be physical training it also has to be mental."

Tarch couldn’t help but be curious about the Konatsian transformation, even if that was sort of a misnomer. However, the boy wouldn’t pursue the topic any further, he didn’t have to sense his emotions to tell Typha did not enjoy talking about it. Instead, the topic of other saiyan transformations came about. As soon as the words super saiyan escaped the Konatsian’s lips, Tarch could feel a small shock trace through his spine. He had no idea what a super saiyan was, but hearing the words alone seemed to stir some sort of deep primal instinct inside him.
“Well, I can turn into a Great Ape, or Oozaru I guess its called, I can even kind of control it now.” Tarch’s tone shifted slightly, taking on sort of relaxed and determined vibe. “So I think even if I’m only half saiyan I can become that Super Saiyan thing.” The teen realized he was in a daze, his eyes snapping open as if waking up from a dream. “Man I don’t even know what a super saiyan is but it sounds cool just thinking about it. I should ask around the base about it, maybe Ms. Nashua knows what it is. Or Mr. Voca...do.” Once again Tarch was brought down by the thought of his teacher being so cold to him and he hasn’t even seen him yet.
Luckily Typha brought up a good possible subject change about physical and mental training. Tarch knew he was lacking in the physical skill department, but his mental abilities were something he was always proud of. “Training your mind is important too. Some days when I was back home, I’d go into the woods, find a nice quiet place and just let my mind sort of… I’m not sure how to put it. Its like I go everywhere but I’m sitting still. I just feel everything. Does that make any sense? Sorry if I sound a little weird.”

Tarch explained he could become an Ozzaru but even though he was half saiyan he could still become a super saiyan. "I don't see why not. You have the blood and you one day may have the strength. He wanted to ask about the super saiyan from as Nashua and this Vocado agian. He'd sigh rubbing his chin. "From what I know. They are powerful warriors filled with passion. We have stories of Saiyans attacking Konats who were these super saiyans. But also allies who protected Konats who were super saiyans. So I can't say what is good or bad." He'd explain what his family had told him from their history and how they came to rise. He could not be sure if they were all true afterall the stories had always changed as history went on.
Tarch made a note he felt his mental training was good. He'd head into the woods and find somewhere to let his mind wander. he didn't say that of course but he understood what he meant. "Yes just feeling yourself at peace. Relaxing as everything is going around you. Letting thoughts empty your mind and just fight with a flow rather than your eyes." Typha said as he'd look at Tarch. He had tried that fighting without his eyes. Just using the noise of the world to fight. It had not gone too well when he did that on Konats. It was hard to try and fight with only what was around you and not what you could hear.
