Mollusc was back on Namek. He had just finished trying to figure out what he wanted to do about Porunga. Chime had given him really good advice about just being himself and doing what he wanted to do. He had made some good friends in the Kingdom so his only conclusion was he wanted to help them and keep them safe. He needed to be stronger to do that. Since his problem with Porunga started, he had fallen behind some of the others in terms of power. With the war coming he'd soon need to be ready to fight. If he was not training he'd be too weak to help them. So he called up Ramen to come along to the Shrine so they could meet up. It was two-fold. First it was to train but second, it was to get information about what was going on since he took his little trip back to earth. Hopefully, she'd understand why he had to disappear. She seemed to be the only one who understood how important his belief in Porunga was to him. So he waited for Ramen to arrive praying as the shrine as he waited.

Ramen touched down gently just outside the shrine, a much more respectful approach than the crash-landing that had marked her first journey to the spot. She folded her hands behind her back and climbed the steps up towards where Mollusc was praying, but didn't speak at first. He would know she was there well in advance anyways: there would be no need to announce her presence.
Training with Mollusc should prove valuable for both fighters. She had been more powerful than him running back to their fight on Namek, but the gap had been widening as a result of the near-constant training she had put herself through since arriving on the planet. Meanwhile, she suspected his lingering doubts over his status with Porunga provided some baggage that might just be slowing him down. She hoped he found the answers he was looking for sooner rather than later, for his own sake.
Finally, after allowing that moment of peace, she cleared her throat. "Mollusc," she greeted in a soft voice. "Whenever you're ready."

Mollusc turned around as he heard the voice. Ramen had finally arrived. He thought he'd be praying forever. He bowed his head to Ramen, "It is good to see you Ramen. I hope you can forgive me. I returned to Earth to look for answers. While I didn't find them exactly I think I have a better idea. I must do what I want to do along with Porunga will. If I am just his blunt weapon then I cannot be the best for him or myself." Mollusc explained. It was not perfect but he felt this mindset would be better for him. He remembered there was a lot of important things he had to ask Ramen and get back in the loop on.
"Ramen. They're a lot I have to ask you. Since I've been gone I've been out of the loop on what is going on Namek. So I was hoping you could give me an update of what been going on since I left. I know it is a lot to ask but I want to know what is going on so I can help to the best on my abilities on Namek." Mollusc explained to Ramen. Hopefully, she'd be able to tell him everything he'd need to know. Mollusc knew he had sometimes not known the full information on something and made less than informed choices. The new mindset he was having, however, called for him to be far more informed instead of just relying on Porunga. "The second thing after I was hoping for a spar. I wanna gauge how strong you are and how strong I am. I know i'm falling behind but I think i'm ready to get stronger so I can defend the things I care for." Mollusc bowed his head agian. Hopefully, Ramen would be able to help him with both these things.

Ramen returned with a little smile when the Namekian turned to her. "It's good to see you, too. There's nothing to forgive -- it's not like I haven't wanted to return to Earth for a spell myself, being out here so far from home..." she managed a brighter smile when he explained himself. If he was going to take his life in the direction he wanted rather than just waiting for a sign from his god, then that would probably be for the best. Whether or not she believed that Porunga was what he seemed to envision, waiting for signs was never really a great idea. "I can try to update you as best I can on what's happened... it hasn't been that long, but a lot happened in a short time."
She tapped her chin, trying to think of the best way to go about explaining the mess of events that had unfolded. "...well. To start, we were forced to accept a kind of temporary deal with the Stargoons to fight against an Arcosian by the name of Lord Boreal. It wasn't something that made either side happy, but it did lead to a major battle between him and Chamil. In the fighting, both were killed and most of the Dragon Balls that had been gathered were lost. Mumbo might know where she had hers hidden, but he kind of... split into two and then unsplit and it was all kind of weird, so I don't know what's going on with him..."
She let out a quiet breath just to take a pause. It was a long story and she was doing her best to abbreviate it. "More recently, we had to deal with this little -- ugh, she's basically a tiny rodent scientist, and she was sucking up to Nashua something fierce. Probably wants to cart her away to experiment on her or like marry her or something, I don't know, but either way she's been trying to mess with us and get us to fight amongst ourselves. But she wanted to ally with us to get the rest of the Dragon Balls to revive Chamil, which we're not doing..."
"... then there's the whole issue of Vocado and his temper and everyone arguing and maybe a pirate queen lady and--" she waved her hand to off to the side. "To cap it all off, we've got like one Dragon Ball and we're probably never going to find the rest of them. We don't even have any radars left because Nashua gave hers to Boreal for... some reason. And Xanathrozza left the planet, I'm pretty sure. And we couldn't recover radars from the fallen."
She finally brought her story to a close. She left out a few things, but they could go over those later.

Ramen seemed to have no problem with what he did. he sighed with relief, she was actually one of his few friends if he was honest with himself. He'd rather not lose that connection. Then she moved on to explain what had been going. He'd nod along trying to absorb every word she was saying. It could be very important for him to know in the future. Something about those stargoons. They had to work with them to defeat this Boreal. "Yah Idk who that is." He'd said, he really must have missed a lot. If they had to work together with whoever these stargoons were then they must have been a tough batch. That was something he should ask too, who the stargoons was but she probably to get to that. So he decided to wait and just keep listening.
What annoyed him the most was shen she explained who killed Boreal. Being Chamil. Now he had an idea of who these Stargoons were. He'd grunt, "Working that Mubmo fool in any capacity annoys me greatly. That man has no respect for Porunga." He'd say, "He didn't even know who he was." Mollusc vented a bit before grunting, "Sorry." He really needed to relax about it. Porunga was not his life. Other than that what had Mumbo done that was so bad to his knowledge anyway. It seemed they had no radar and they had lost all their progress. That was also a bummer. Still, that could be recovered. Regardless it was at least good they dealt with this Boreal guy. Whoever he might have been. Course then there was another part. He must have really missed a lot of stuff if Ramen had this much to tell.
Next was something about some Rodent. He'd nodded though he didn't understand how those mice or rats could ever be a problem unless they were taking all the Saiyan kingdoms food. Maybe Namekian rats were just bigger. Though she quickly made sure that was not the cause. She was trying to mess with them to revive Chamil. He'd nod along, he agreed with that. He was a no go on that. "In general i'm against reviving in general. Porunga power is the last result. However, if anyone is going to be making those wishes. I'd rather have someone I trust using Porunga power. At least then I know they won't do something super crazy. Course subjects moved on to that of Vocado. Something about his anger and there was a pirate queen. It seemed like she brushed over those key stories. Yet, he decided not to press her on it. She probably knew what she was talking about.
Then she got to the bombshell. Nashua gave away her radar. The other part about Xana was less important. While she leaving did hurt, he had left for some time too and they were doing just fine. Yet, he could just not wrap his head around Nashua gave away her radar. To the enemy? Mollusc blinked a few times trying to comprehend what Ramen said. He'd let out a sigh, "I knew I should have punched her into the ground." Mollusc said as an offhanded remark remembering when he first meet Nashua and how she had tried to stop him from harming that skater boy. Maybe if he had hit her hard enough she would have learned some sense. Unless it was..Porunga will. He'd smiled, "Oh..hmmm prehaps She made the right call." Mollusc said, "Porunga did tell me to spare her after all, maybe he foresaw that unless the Saiyans and the Stargoons worked together then Boreal would win." He seemed to take this out of context but there was no stopping now. "You said Chamil killed Boreal. Was it Just Chamil? Yes...well idk we can figure that out another time." He'd sigh. "Regardless. The Most important thing to do is to train. Are you willing to train with me?" Mollusc asked Ramen bowing his head in respect.

Mollusc's reaction to Nashua's strange decision earned a frown: first for his belief he should have gone farther with their violent first meeting, and second for the idea that she somehow made the right call in the first place. She was sympathetic enough that she didn't feel the girl had earned a violent reaction, but she was also still a little sore over the fact that she had given up the radar at all. "I think it was mostly just a dumb decision brought on by her trying to see the best in everyone. It's like that rat girl I mentioned--when I first showed up, she was hugging her to try to console her over Chamil's death. It's kind of frustrating, actually..." she pinched between her eyes and exhaled sharply through her nose. "On the one hand, you've got Nashua who can forgive conquest and mass murder if she spots a couple tears, and on the other you've got Vocado who's gotten so prone to violent rants it's wearing on me."
"I guess the real answer as to what's going on around here is that I'm getting frustrated by how obtuse Saiyans are," she finally grumbled, before she reached down to hook her thumbs into her armoured chestplate. She pulled it up off of her head and tossed it over to the side, leaving it a few feet back in the carefully-trimmed grass. In its place, she wore a simple white tank-top, though she soon unwrapped her gi from around her waist and fit that back ground her head. She rolled her shoulders one at a time to warm them up, before she gave Mollusc a little nod of conformation. "Yeah, let's train. I think we could both use it at this point, given everything that's been going on. I definitely need to get a little stronger, to say the very least..."
In a real battle, the armour would have been a useful tool to have. It could have saved her the need to expend energy in defense by giving her a bit more leeway in her guards. However, she wasn't going to come to the fight as the only one with protection to speak of, and besides -- in training, she was better off looking like an Earthling. She fought like an Earthling and thought like an Earthlings, so why shouldn't she represent them too? Part of her had considered abandoning the armour altogether, but to give up that big of an advantage for the sake of pride could turn out to be a cutting error if there were lives on the line.
She took a few slow breaths, beginning to steady herself. Outwardly, it seemed like she was just trying to lull herself into a calm, but a keen sense would reveal her energy signature beginning to drop as she sealed away some of her power deep within. Rather than fighting at full strength right from the start, she tried to more or less match Mollusc in strength. "We'll learn more from an even fight," she explained, assuming the Namekian was up on his energy sensing. "We should find a clear spot somewhere nearby."

Ramen seemed to have something say about Nashua. He'd nod listening to her. She was pretty wise about most of this stuff after all. Though she seemed pretty fed up in general. "I understand. It just reminds me when I meet Nashua. I don't think I ever told this story. I got so flustered over a statue being broken I got into a fight with a human. Nashua tried to stop me but I was always flustered. I was so close to just driving her into the concrete then it started raining." Mollusc explained. "Maybe if she got hit she would have not done something like that. Though I guess Nashua just has a gentle soul. She is not like you or me." Mollusc explained. That was not a knock on Nashua but the only time he ever saw her as a really dangerous warrior was when she was out of control as an Ozzaru. When she was driven more on instinct than her own intelligence.
Still, it was pretty bad, Vocado and Nashua were pretty different. One was quite peaceful and one was by what Ramen was giving him more headstrong and bloodthirsty. He shrugged, "Both have their positive and negative trait. The two of them together might actually be a strong union." He'd then clarify, "I don't mean anything romantic. More as if fused. Remind me of what some namekian can do in the stories." He'd explain further. "I've heard some of them have been able to permanently fuse themselves in two but it seems like nonsense. To split your soul in two? I can't buy into that." Mollusc said as he shook his head. "Anyway as the for the Dragonball mess. I'll get on it. We can go hunting for them once we can get a radar. I'll talk with the locals, maybe some of them picked them up after they were lost." He was of their kind, he'd assume they'd be happy to share what they knew.
It was now time for what was the most important part. They were going to fight. She was taking off his armor though. Which was fine. As long as he didn't use his regenerations. Though he doubted it'd come to that it was just a friendly spar. Though Ramen made a note they'd be more in for an even fight. That got a little far in his soul. "Let's fight the full power," Mollusc said. "If i'm that much weaker I'd rather be aware." Mollusc could not sense Ki but if Ramen though she had to lower her own power he thought that'd be bad news for him. He did remember how strong Ramen was last time when she easily outclassed him in their fight but Mollusc had also gotten stronger. Regardless he'd point to the west where there was a patch of land. "That should do." Mollusc would blast upwards to land in that area and hoping Ramen would follow suit.

"I can't see how that could possibly work. I mean, I know you can regenerate and sometimes you can like, grow and stuff, but I would think actually becoming two people would be like... science-fiction." It was an intriguing thing to hear about, but this strange fusion thing sounded a little off to Ramen. The idea of splitting into two wasn't so strange as she herself employed Multi-Form as part of her regular training regimen. But actually splitting the soul and turning into two separate people instead of two identical halves was something else entirely. She shook her head and decided to forget about it for now: no use trying to imagine some Namekian technique she probably wouldn't even want to use. She kicked up into the air and followed behind the Namekian. She frowned a little when he suggested fighting at full power, not exactly wanting to just outstrip him in strength entirely, but she supposed if the fight started going south for him he could at least transform and that would help even things out a little bit. She released a quiet breath as her energy once again bubbled back to its passive maximum, though she still abstained from attempting one of her power-ups. She preferred to save those anyways. After touching down on the patch of land, she rolled her shoulders to loosen up before falling into a defensive posture that would now be familiar to her friend. He would have seen her use something very similar both against Nashua and Cress, and against him at the Tournament of Beauty. As practiced as ever, the stance almost seemed ripped straight from a textbook, with almost no variation to speak of in any of the instances she had used it, even with different foes. "Ready when you are."

Mollusc landed in the spot he had chosen. He'd turn his head watching Ramen come down. She seemed to be ready. Mollusc was unsure how he was going to do this. In his base form could he even hit her. He was unsure. He'd have to fight all out from the start. Still, he stayed in his base. He'd circle around a bit observing her defensive posture. It had not changed form any other time he had seen it. Still, he didn't know how he was going to break through it. Though he supposed this was what he got for telling Ramen to go all out. He remembered how strong she was before so he at least he had that base. Still, she must have gotten a lot stronger. Mollusc planted one foot down starting Ramen down. Still no movement. He was in deep thought. Finally, he'd launched forward throwing his right arm out aiming to slam it into Ramen's face to test her speed at this point. He needs a gauge before he really went in.

Increasing her power back to its ordinary maximum placed a fairly wide gap between herself and Mollusc, as the Namekian would soon find out. As he launched forward to attack her, she was able to see the move coming well in advance. A simple sidestep was all it took to avoid the attack entirely, and she twisted her hips around to let his momentum carry him wherever it would. She wouldn't be long for a counter-attack either, as she coiled around and kicked up into the air, aiming a hard kick in response. Had the Namekian stumbled past her, the blow would be aimed to his back -- had he remained before her, then the blow would be aimed right for his midsection. Either way, the intent was the same: she wanted to send him knocked backwards with enough force to tease the energy gap between them.
"You're strong!" she called as she carried out her movement. "But the war on Namek has been good to me in that way. Constant training and constant fighting have put me on a level far beyond that which I fought at back on Earth."

Mollusc was easily avoided. Mollusc turned to plant his feet. He's not so easily be stumbled. She must have had time to prepare. Then he felt a blow slam into his midsection. Mollusc stumbled back holding his midsection in clear pain. Even though his body was semi-elastic that didn't matter. It was like someone had drilled a hole through his stomach. She was far stronger then he was. He could tell from that. He held his stomach clenching his teeth as she spoke. Dammit, she was right. He had stayed the same and she had grown stronger and stronger. Seems she had good reason to hold back. Still, he could transform. Mollusc finally let go of his stomach.
He'd straighten himself up looking at Ramen. "That was a good shot. You were right before, you have gotten a lot stronger but I can still power up." Mollusc said as he flexed his muscles. His body began to grow. He could not hold back anything agiasnt Ramen. She was too strong at his max he was unsure if he could even challenge her. He still remembers that second form Ramen used in the toury that easily overpowered him. He could at least match her right now though. That was what he assumed at least. He'd grow to be three times his normal height as he swung his arm down to knock Ramen aside with a powerful strike or to get her to power up to dodge it. Time to fight for real.

Her first blow had landed well, but Ramen knew that the second wouldn't be so easy. Having given Mollusc a taste of what she could do now, he would respond in turn. She had witnessed his devastating power in the past, and this would be no different. As she had seen a few times before, he began to dramatically increase his size, ending up triple his normal height with the power to match. The last time she fought Mollusc in this form, she had lost... ... technically. As he swung his arm down towards her, she had no choice but to let her power flare up from within. Red electricity jolted around her body and an aura of brilliant red surrounded her as she unleashed the full extent of what she was capable of -- at least for now. A split second before and that arm would have send her flying, possibly even beating her in one go. But with her enhanced power, it was a much simpler matter. She managed to vault over his arm, her shins still ending up being kicked out from under her as she crested past. But with a bit of ki, she was able to propel herself the rest of the way around to land safely on the ground. "At the Tournament of Beauty, I made the mistake of trying to make our fight look nice. I tried to play to the crowd and to the judges, and so they voted you past me even though I was winning. Well--" she grinned, before falling into her trademark defensive stance. "There are no judges to play favourites here, and I know well enough not to let my guard down against you. If we're training at full-power, then that's what you can expect."
"This is going to hurt."Without waiting for a response, she kicked off the ground and launched herself forward towards Mollusc. Her speed was considerable now, though it wasn't anything that he wouldn't be able to track. For now, she was going to open up with a light salvo: coming to a halt mid-way through her trajectory towards him, cutting short what appeared to be a charge to melee range in favour of releasing a barrage of yellow ki blasts, all aimed straight for his gut where he was struck the first time.

Ramen powered up agian. It was that form she used in the toury and agiasnt the great apes they faced. She easily dodged his move leaping right over. Mollusc was surprised by this, she really had gotten faster. If she had been as fast they first faced maybe he could have still caught her. Still, it made sense, when he attacked her while she was in her base he was no match in his own base form. Mollusc turned around facing Ramen as she spoke. How the toury she had held back to make her moves like stylish. He remembered that he didn't know how he won that but still it was scary to think, Ramen was going to be fighting with everything she had. There would no punches that were thrown without each of their backs into it.
Mollusc braced himself as Ramen charged in. He'd watch as she seemed to be getting ready for a melle attack but then she switched. He felt her ki blast nail his chest. Mollusc brought his arms down but still, he was sliding back and he'd not hold out for long. She really was a monster. Mollusc had no choice but to go on the offensive or else he'd be overwhelmed by her sheer strength. He'd plant his feet before leaping above the blasts keeping his hands in front of him just in case she moved her attack. Then he'd fire a beam down at her attempting to make her leap up. That was his thought anyway. If she was in the air maybe he could get a bit more time to prepare an attack or keep her away with a barrage like she had just used.

SAIYAN KINGDOM SECRET TRAINING| Ramen's PL: 252,000 (Base 84,000 - x3 Modifier) |
It was clear from their opening exchange that Ramen held the advantage in this fight. She had figured as much going in, but being able to evade his attack so easily only confirmed the matter. But still, she couldn't afford to take him too lightly: whether or not she possessed a speed or power advantage, an opponent that large could still land a crushing blow even if they were giving up on strength alone. Her follow-up attack also bore out her suspected advantage as she had managed to send the monstrously-sized Mollusc sliding backwards across the ground. But it seemed he wasn't content to just sit around and let himself be pushed around. Before she could follow-up on her maneuver, she found a beam coming straight at her. She noticed just a little too late, and although she managed to get her guard up, she found herself blasted on the outsides of the arms and knocked back a few feet. She dug her feet into the ground to stop herself from skidding too far and gave a shake of her head, trying to snap herself out of the initial daze of being hit. "That hurt," she complained. It was more a way of staying conversational than a serious comment, of course, and she soon opted to deliver him his just receipt for the attack. Rather than attempt any fancy moves of her own, she just aimed her palm towards him and began to gather ki in it. At this point, he would be well aware of the attack she was using: it was undoubtedly her most commonly used technique, along with being the very first she had mastered. After mere moments of focus, an orb of crimson red appeared in her hand, along with the tell-tale glow that seemed to coat the entire area in colour. "I know you can handle an attack like this, but let's start off light, shall we?" she raised her hand upwards before coiling it back as if the orb were an ordinary ball she was getting ready to throw. Then, she twisted her hips and stepped forward, hurling the attack with all of the extra momentum the movement could offer her. She was never really one for baseball, but at least she could claim to have a good pitch. "RED CRUSH!"

Even with one of his beams? Ramen was not kidding she had gotten a lot tougher. Mollusc landed back on the ground with a thud as he looked towards Ramen. What could she be planning next? Mollusc had to be on his toe's or else. He'd watch her raise her hand as she was forming an attack he had seen all too many times before. Mollusc shot up into the sky but he'd knew it'd not be enough. He'd fly higher and higher trying to race to the sky above. He'd pass over the clouds before...... Mollusc body fell from the sky. His form badly burned. It seemed the fight was over. Her Red crush proved more then....then the body began to fade in and out of existence till it was left as whispers on the air. The Afterimage techquine.
Before he had been hit by her attack he had used the afterimage. He moved towards the clouds she'd not see him use it. She'd have to guess. Maybe she'd guess right but it'd give him just a bit more time. From the clouds, his hands would outstretch sweat beating on his face. Sparks of red ki began to fly off his body. Too bad he could not show her his strongest techquine. But he needed focus. So he'd need to stall her somehow. Plus he had just used a good bit of ki dodging her Red Crush. Guess he'd have to spend some more. As the Afterimage faded the clouds began to open up small red balls punching right through the clouds. Then more of them came through and more. It was a barrage of ki blasts raining from the sky down at where Ramen had been standing when she had used her Red Crush. Hopefully, that gives him the time he'd need to charge up.
Used Afterimage [SU1]: Through a sudden burst of speed you leave behind a static image of yourself to distract your opponent, this technique allows you to completely dodge techniques beneath 100% of your PL. This technique uses 1 KP in KP Battles. Kp:2/3
