Terryn stood atop that same hill, and watched that same city loom in the distance.
Memories flashed by of the last time he ventured into 'Badman City', dark and unwanted. That haunting image of his crushing defeat at the hands of Chamil still came to visit him in his dreams. It terrified him- shook him down to his very core. Yet his fears were not something he could mull over. It wasn't just him that was filled with terror...It was Earth itself, and her people. A great evil loomed on the Planet, untouched for months. War raged among the stars, and the next assault was on the horizon. Terryn simply knew.
Badman City...The essence of what was wrong with their world. The Corruption, and the evil that pulled the strings.
''I hope everyone got the memo.'' The Captain spoke to himself, eyes drifting away from Badman City's brooding skyline. Slow breaths entered through his nose, and escaped his mouth. Closing his eyes, he briefly took in the silence. The grass rustled quietly, and the wind howled an ominous breeze into his ears. ''I'm counting on you guys...'' Terryn whispered aloud. His eyes shot open, gaze hardening. ''Let's go.''
Terryn vanished from sight, bolting toward the heart of corruption with fire in his eyes. The streets rumbled as Terryn's form blazed past, kicking up dirt and dust as the wind parted with a loud screech. The Trooper navigated the City with ease, recognizing broken buildings and torn streets from his previous battle with the Demon in control. It didn't take long for Terryn to reach the Center, slowing down as he did.
The Captain's eyes drifted up at the shatttered foundation of the once-tall statue of a defender's brave end. Even more images of his previous fight flashed by. It will be different. Failure wasn't an option!
Catching the eye of many corrupted citizens, Terryn silently climbed up a set of stairs leading to the broken statue. The crowd mumbled judgementally as Terryn stood tall atop what was left of the cracked marble. The red and blue of the Pride Troopers shone brightly in the brooding streets.
''This corruption has gone on for long enough, Chamil!'' Terryn shouted, knowing fully well the Demoness wasn't present. ''Today, we are taking back what is ours! Your reign is OVER!''
Terryn's aura flared up like a peacock asserting his dominance. The cracks within the statue began to glow as the fire within his aura twisted his voice. ''WE ARE THE PRIDE TROOPERS, AND WE WILL PROTECT EARTH AT ALL COSTS!'' The Captain shouted into the darkened sky. Terryn felt strong, stronger than ever. It was almost as if he knew Koban and Banzo were watching him from the Afterlife.
''If any of you have the balls needed to try and challenge us, be our guest! I won't let any of you stop us!''
The Captain stood tall and proud, awaiting his fellow Troopers and allies to join at his side. While strong, Terryn couldn't do much to purify the city with his lack of magical prowess. One thing was for certain, though.
After today, Earth's people would have one less thing to be afraid of.

Saizomaru PL: 75,000 (Base)
"You tried being a little louder? I don't think they heard you clearly."
Saizomaru looked down at Terryn from a top of the high rise nearby. His armor shined a dull sheen from the lack of sun in this dark-skied city, with the only thing that showed his appearance clearly was the silver-grey hair that swung from side to side in the wind.
Quickly he leapt from the building, dashing down the dilapidated facia before flipping off of it. Casually he landed on both feet, the thud almost silent due to his dampening soles. He made his way towards Terryn before taking a seat on the edge of the statue's base.
"You're late," he said in a half-humoured tone. He held his hand to thigh level, palm half open. The plates segmented out to the sides before a small compartment jutted outward into his hand. His fingers gripped a small, mechanical box that had a Pyrex glass tank screwed into the top filled with a clear liquid. A small *click* sounded at the push of a button on the base, then a fizz. Placing the nozzle of the tank to his lips, the android to a deep inhale for a second, then released. With a slow exhale a large cloud of smoke poured from his lips.
"You reckon anyone else will turn up?" he asked his captain. "Y'know, from either side?"
He hummed for a moment as he gazed out into the empty street. Barren. Desolate. Devoid of much life. It was heartbreaking to see what a once lively city had become. But that's why he was here. "I heard most of the Goons have left the planet for someplace else. I doubt we're gonna find much resistance."
He smiled, albeit half. "This should make our jobs a little easier." With a click of the switch once more, he took another lungful of vaporised oil from his electronic cigarette, then let out another dense fog from his mouth.
"Best invention ever, this is. Mango flavour is the bomb."

"Of course I'll be here Mister Terryn. I would never abandon my duty, especially when it's one given to me by a divine being." A young voice echoed down the streets as a girl and an arcosian made their way towards the broken statue that Terryn was standing on. It had been a few months since her last visit to Badman, however, this time Neo wasn't here to observe then run away. She was here to stay and try and fix all of the corruption presents here. After all, she had been studying purifying magic ever since she entrusted Chime with the task to create the dragon balls. Evil might have caught them off guard last time, but it was now time to restore good to this city. There was another familiar face there, Saizomaru, the android that had come to visit them in the lookout. While Frozone was clearly displeased to see him here, he kept his mouth shut. He knew the gravity of the situation and it was no time to fight with fellow allies, even if he really did hate him. This was his chance to formally break off with the World Trade Fleet for good. "Hello to you as well Mister Saizo." She said cheerfully before standing in front of the android with Frozone by her side. "It's night to see you again, right Frozone?" His only response was a grunt and nothing else. Ignoring his response, Neo eyes began to look around the city. Memories began to flood back into her head. The injured human. The namekian that had tried to attack the family and all of the blood, pain, and chaos. Tears began to form on her eyes. This had gone on for long enough. Today, she was determined to end all of this pain, even if it truly did cost her life. "Do you have all that we need?" She asked Frozone. In response, the arcosian would hand her the satchet that he was safekeeping. Of course, Neo could create her own ingredients if she forgot them, but it would be best if they were all naturally created. Taking a peek at what was inside, she would then shoot a look at Terryn and Saizomaru. "I think I can purify the city. It's not going to be easy and require a lot of effort and focus though." Her brow began to furrow in response as she sensed the energy around her. Aside from Terryn's own energy, she could feel nothing but corruption and dark magic tainting the typical energy of the citizens thick in the air. "It would go a lot smoother if I had someone else to help me." She muttered. Neo knew that she shouldn't be too hasty right now. Just because the threats behind all of this weren't here meant nothing. There could be many more hidden ones that were just waiting to come out and pounce. For now, it was best to wait and to recite the procedures needed for this ritual. She only had one chance and that was it.

This was fate.
It had to be, for the child of nature was a firm believer in ‘fate’. A firm believer that things were ‘meant to be’ a certain way. He took a step through the streets. Through the cracks in the concrete, ferns sprung up. He took a step through the streets. The grass that had once been stumps in the cracks in the pavement grew. New life was breathed into them. He took a step through the streets, and came face-to-face with the people who managed to get him here.
He smiled warmly at the other child present. ”Dont you worry! I’m all the help you need... what?” His gaze fluttered over to the... thing, accompanying her. The thing. Why wasn’t she attacking it? They were the enemy, right? Weren’t they? The child of nature’s gaze furrowed. That... didn’t seem right. He cast a foul glance at the Arcosian, not attacking, but not acknowledging him either.
He then looked up at the one accompanying Terryn. Some kind of robot? Android? Synthesia couldn’t sense his power. It made him kind of uncomfortable, but he looked human enough. Probably.
Synthesia took a seat on the ground, adjacent from the two warriors. He claspedh is hands together, a faint orange shadow creeping around his eyes. ”I don’t know who you are, metal one, but if Terryn trusts you, you’re probably alright. Name’s Synthesia. I’m gonna be the one to liberate the city. Oh, and Neo too. Yeah.” he opened his eyes and shot the Android a sly smirk, his orange cateyes shimmering with their orgaization’s namesake.
”Keep me safe while I make preparations, yeah?”

Bloom's PL: 10,000 | 30,000 Ki Suppression: Active (Reads as 5)
Bloom was here for one reason.
To protect Neo while she purified the city.
Trudging in discreetly, Bloom approached the statue where an earthling had made his stand. All that bravado seemed like a lot of effort. And while she was willing to risk life and limb so that Neo could do her thing, Bloom couldn’t and wouldn’t muster up that much effort. She kept her head down and her power level suppressed for the time being. Unlike the rest of those assembled, Bloom was accustomed to keeping a lower profile than shouting to the hilltops. Stepping up beside Neo, Bloom offered what she could muster of a smile and wave.
“Hey...Here to protect you… So… Fix the city...okay?”
Her eyes looked over the other people present. Aside from the shouty one, there was another girl, vaguely like a plant. And then the robot from the North. Oh yeah. She kind of remembered him. Bloom waved at him as well, though this time she couldn’t muster up a smile. The aura of this city had an effect on her. Made it hard to think straight sometimes.
“Hey...Remember me...? You were gonna melt my arms or tie them around a tree…?”
Bloom guessed it didn’t matter too much if he remembered her, so long as no one started flinging energy blasts around. She kept her ki sense sharp, searching for other approaching ki signatures. If she could managed to scrape out of this without a fight, all the better. Free her family from mind control. Leave before they found out she was involved. Perfect. She turned to the others that she didn’t know. Probably a good idea to introduce herself now that she thought about it.
“Uh… hi… I’m Bloom… by the way…”

“Ahem…” a short statured man with azure skin and white hair grunted stepping out from an alleyway. There was a group of several citizens falling behind him all carrying hammers, boards, and other pieces of various debris. The five foot tall half-demon approached with a frown on his face with his mob in tow behind him. He stopped and observed the gathering of high power level beings around him and blinked.
“The magic here wore off a bit earlier today,” Allium said letting his frown turn into a half smile. The mob behind him walked by to a nearby building and began nailing the debris they carried to holes in the wall. He snapped his fingers to generate more piles of construction materials for the group of workers to use and looked back at the motley crew that had assembled.
“I had been trying to infiltrate their ranks, of the um... you know? Of the Star Goons. They haven't returned from their trip offworld,” Allium told them. “Something tells me that they won’t be coming back here to Ba-... to Satan City.”
He cracked his knuckles and neck. Just in case there were any lingering allies of Chamil here, he wouldn't mind lending a hand. “It’d be excellent to have help with the reconstruction efforts, though.”

Ledinjin & Vicarous Thread PL: 48,560 & 8,000. Ki Suppression: Active Vicarous equipped with Scouter Visor. Ledinjin has no scouter equipped. Three man Ship with Cloak Drive (the Iceberg): Present and using the cloak tech. There'd been so much work they had to do to get the Rebellion moving in tip top shape again! Scouting training locations and engaging in said training, investigating strange energies on this planet to determine how they work, trying to recruit new individuals, and so much more. On this list, Satan City, or as it was currently called, Bad Man City, was on such objective. Individuals coming from here had been experiencing a sort of mass derangement that led to them being far more aggressive. Ledinjin hadn't wanted anyone going to that city, but Gelu had apparently done so and confirmed that the city was in this state! Ledinjin had determined that, upon learning enough about this mass derangement caused from a pollution of individual Kinetic Reservoirs, or Ki as most called it, they'd go in and fix everyone up... That was the plan, prior to a mass gathering of individuals over in the city once more. Vicarous had picked them all up on their sensors, his visor heating up immensely from it. He ran to Ledinjin's room and alerted him directly. "Another mass gathering," Ledinjin questioned, exiting his room, "This may be the best time to investigate what's going on with that city's people... Get Thaw and Gelu on the line and tell them to meet us at the Iceberg!""Yes sir," Vicarous said with confirmation. He tuned to Thaw and Gelu's frequencies respectively and told them, "Hey, guys! We've got a big mission going on! Meet us on the Iceberg at the Hangar. We'll explain along the way. Long story short: Badman City is being looked into." Vicarous and Ledinjin arrived at the hangar and entered the ship. The ship turned on and hummed to life. It's entry ramp remained open until Thaw and Gelu would get on board. Upon doing so, the ship blasted out of the base and made a beeline to the hot spot. Ledinjin and Vicarous remained quiet for the trip there. With a few turns of switches aboard, their ship became see through, without a single visual of the ship present. As they neared the city, Ledinjin told Vicarous, "Park us high up on a building that's not occupied. After that, silence te engine and meet with me in the meeting area."Thaw, GeluHello hello! Let's see how this goes. :D

THIS CITY IS OURS| Banshee's PL: 36,500 |
Terryn's arrival to the heart of Badman City was as loud and boisterous as one could have expected. It was perhaps the perfect declaration to make to draw out any defenders this center of corruption had to offer. Unlike their meeting in North City, the Captain of the Pride Troopers sounded like a hero this time. Maybe he wasn't subtle, but this wasn't a situation that called for subtlety. Banshee on the other hand lagged behind the rest of the group as they moved into the city. Fear had long since taken hold of her, stilling her movements and undercutting whatever confidence she had built up in the weeks prior. But it wasn't a fear of death, exactly. She had died twice already, and she was prepared to die her final death if that's what it took to live up to her unlikely calling. No, today it was something different.
"I look ridiculous," the ghost whined to herself, keeping her eyes focused firmly on the pavement as she followed the rest of the group. For once, the heavy cloth and straw hat she usually appeared in had been done away with, in favour of a blue and black set of tights, a red sash, and white gloves and boots. After years of swearing to claim vengeance on the world's heroes, she was stepping in tandem with them dressed in the same absurd outfit. Her greatest fear right about now was being laughed at. "... I don't think ghosts are supposed to wear things like this. Maybe I should have just dressed like a farmer again."
She let out a little sigh and stepped forward to join the main body, trying to swallow her self-conscious feelings to focus on the task at hand. It wasn't exactly easy, but she crossed her arms across her chest and struck the best heroic pose she could. It mostly just came across as disinterested and bored, but it was a start at least. She cast an uneasy glance over to Terryn, just trying to gauge his reaction at this point, before turning her attention to Neo. "I will protect you, little healer," she promised in a suddenly-solemn tone, giving the girl a firm nod. "Let's hope this goes smoothly. The magic in this city might just be enough to turn us against ourselves if we have to fight a protracted battle." Although she didn't recognize most of the group that had arrived to recapture the city, she did manage a bright smile once she spotted a particular android. "H-Hey, it's you!" she waved to Saizomaru urgently. Somehow she had managed to miss him up until now. "I guess I listened to you and Koban after all, huh? ...er, except my training wasn't very fruitful."

Gelu had been in his room meditating, doing simple vision training he was trying to bring his control of ki to a new level. He had felt himself growing stronger over time, especially after his fight with his brother he had learned a few things. The young Arcosian was going to show any that doubted him just how powerful he truly was. In his mind was fighting Ledinjin and of course, he wasn't anywhere near strong enough to beat him, but he would attempt to. Bringing himself to a total stillness trying to anticipate the stronger fighter's movements.
That was when Vic's voice came over his intercom breaking Gelu out of his trance. He one opened lazily and with some annoyance as he listened to what the Heran had to say. Apparently they were going to BadMan City. Well he supposed if anything, he'd get a chance to test out his new strength if it came down to it.
"Copy that," he said as he stood to his feet and made his way to his door. He stepped out into the hallway and took a right heading towards the hanger. His steps were quick with excitement, but he hadn't quite broken out into a jog, more of a brisk walk. Soon enough he got to the ship and boarded, taking his seat.
"So, what inspired the sudden excursion?" he asked knowing he probably wouldn't get an answer until Thaw arrived. He waited, listening to whatever it was that Ledinjin had to say once they were all airborne. As the city came into view Gelu's scouter started going off like crazy. Two fighters stronger than Led in his base form and the rest all around Gelu and Thaw's strength. "Wow, we showed up to one hell of a party didn't we."

Scouter Active // Ki Sense Active // Ki Suppression Active // 42,488 Pl // 3/3 KP Thaw was busy as usual in his private quarters, performing shadow boxing when he actually had the time to. He did routines such as day in and day out of training every day with the hopes of surpassing Frost. However this day would be different than most, as he got a message from Frost himself about the whole ordeal that was about to take place. Vic was the one to relay the information to the both of them. Thaw was rather cheerful at another event that was about to take place and going by the looks of it, the situation was about Bad Man city and remembering what had happened to the city by reports alone he had sighed to himself. He exhaled out a sigh and looked over at his locker door, he had opened it and there it was, the cloak that he had worn during all serious missions. His dark crimson high top collar robe and he put it on with fashion in mind along with the memories of a teen and going on missions with this exact robe on. It brought memories of horror and achievements at the same time. He looked at himself in the mirror, not knowing if this was his last day or not. Nevertheless, he blocked that out of his mind and headed straight towards the hangar. Upon arriving, he entered the ship and sat on one of the chairs as he idled by having his hands behind his head and yawning as he so casually did. Another training mission he thought? perhaps, however, his scouter started to detect a high group of power levels all surrounding one place. His eyes widen in shock at the large gathering in Bad Man city and this was no joke indeed. He then took into account all of the power levels that was on his scouter as he wrote them down on a piece of paper. Then he went into his ki sensing abilities and stood up from the chair and walked over to Frost and Gelu with his high collar robe covering his mouth. He spoke to the both of them with a sigh of disbelief that most of the people who were here, were people he had met before. After looking over his piece of paper, he had placed the power level with those who he assumed had those power levels based on his interactions with them. "Most of these power levels, I recognize to be individuals that I have met before. In my opinion, most of these people aren't apart of the WTF. The first on that list is a Captain of the Pride Troopers. I don't remember his name, but he is the leader of Earths defenses. The second on this list is Neo and Frozone. These two protect the lookout tower and definitely aren't individuals that would cause chaos. Frozone however is a former WTF soldier that defected.. He mainly protects Neo at all cost. I believe that he won't cause any trouble to the city. If he does however, Neo would put him in his place. The next one, is a plant being that I met during my time in the diablo desert. We had a mutual agreement in helping one another. I don't believe he would cause such chaos to the city since his power level was rather low when I met him.
The last one on the list that I do remember is Allium. We were at a tournament and he seemed like a man that would do more good than evil to the world. I purposely lost the tournament battle that I had with him in order for him to see that all arcosians aren't egoistical or superior then they normally appear to be. I do believe he is good since during our battle, he didn't appear to hate arcosians nor did he show malice intent during the tournament. The rest of the individual here I don't recognize at all and there is one that I cannot sense at all, but his power level seems to be above even the Captains.. Perhaps he's an android... Frost, from what I know of these few individuals, I believe they aren't here for an agenda of chaos but I could be wrong. but scouting is indeed the best course of action right now."He now had both arms to his back as he placed his paper on the table and waited for further instructions from Frost himself and looked to his brother with a cheeky smile. "Lets hope you can keep up with me brother."www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ibb_B4bQ6VM Thaw's Theme song

THIS CITY OF OURS
CARRO'S PL: 50 | L.E.O'S PL: 40,000
Carro's eyes narrowed. "What...?" He found himself muttering, looking over the corrupt capitol just as the storm of invading heroes moved in to dispel the evil. But that wasn't what his attention was affixiated on. Even before they arrived, he'd been... getting strange readings from the city. After nearly falling victim to the magic haunting the city himself, Carro did manage to get some energy samples to better eye the fallen Satan City from afar. They'd been going up and down for awhile now- nearly fading before spiking back up, like a flame being extinguished, struggling to breathe. It still fought, though. Though it was a very odd anomaly to say the least, and once Neo and the other magic uses slid in to begin to purify the city, it began to fade faster and faster. The saiyan grinned- this was the end of an era. After this if it was successful, Earth would be peaceful- if only for a short while. Right?
The saiyan sighed. "Hey, Lee." He whistled, causing the mechanical cat behind him to raise her form, eyes flickering to life. Her body was slouched as she opened her jaws with a yawn, systems rebooting from sleep mode. "Looks like someone forgot to invite us to the party, huh?" The saiyan concluded, putting his hands on his hips and sucking in a breath. Already, the dark clouds above the city began to disperse, and no opposition was to be seen... But he couldn't risk leaving when things could change in a heartbeat, just like how the city was taken over initially. "C'mon, let's get you to work--" The Plexroid groaned and fell back asleep. "--I'll give you your Premium Xtreme fuel if you do this for me, girl." And just like that, the mecha lunged forwards, scooping up yelping Carro in her jaws and soaring towards the scene afar.
With her massive shadow briefly covering the Pride Troopers and other Z-Fighters below alike in darkness, a flash of brilliant orange pierced the shadows above as LEO darted to the earth below, coming to a skidding stop in the air. "Heeeeeyyyy! About time we took our city back, amiright?" LEO's head turned towards the Pride Trooper leader, jaws unmoving as Carro's voice echoed from the speakers on the side of her face. From the cockpit, one might have seen the saiyan wave from behind his mecha's glassy eyes.
"U-uh, don't worry! Me and LEO are on your side, guys! I'm Carro!" He chimed to the others behind them as the feline herself gave a beep of affirmation. As the massive cat sat down, she'd glance around with Carro in tow. "...So far it doesn't look like anyone else is showing, though. I don't see hide or hair of any others on the radar up here." Carro tapped at LEO's sonar scouters- the only notable powers were from everyone present already. Still, he'd watch the device with narrowed eyes- anyone could come at any moment, after all...

Post by Captain Terryn on Oct 22, 2018 21:11:27 GMT -6
| This City Of Ours |
His shouting echoed back to him across the desolate city streets, and for a moment Terryn thought that he was once again all alone. It wouldn't take long for the other Pride Troopers to join at his side, though, putting that fear to rest once and for all. The Captain gazed at Saizomaru first and foremost, unable to help but chuckle. ''You always this chilled out? Suppose there isn't too much to worry about.'' Terryn spoke, gaze returning to the streets. It was awfully quiet on the 'villain' end of things. Maybe a bit too quiet.
Next came Synthesia and Neo. While substantially weaker than him and Saizo, they were arguably far more important for their mission. Their skill with magic could revert all the corruption within the city! All they had to do was protect them. Easy enough, right? ''It's good to see you two. Help eachother in getting rid of this corruption, a'right? I- uh, don't know magic, but....You'll figure something out. Probably.'' The Captain shrugged. Hey, it was worth a shot, right? Terryn shot an understanding nod at Frozone, earning a grin. ''Thanks for your help too. Keep them safe, alright?'' His head tilted to the side with a faint smile.
Two complete strangers joined the fray right after. Terryn was slightly skeptical, but they seemed to be on their side. The short-statured Earthling noted of the Stargoons' absence, to which the Captain nodded. ''Yeah, we're aware. S'the exact reason we're doing this now, and not later!'' Terryn spoke with obvious pride in his voice, unable to help but feel accomplished as everyone stood in position.
But Terryn's positivity only grew after that! A strange, wispy figure emerged from afar, clad in an all-too familiar red and blue... ''Banshee!?'' Terryn's jaw practically dropped to the floor, in a good way! 'Y-You're here! And your outfit...! You're a real Trooper now!'' The Captain's smile beamed from ear-to-ear as he faced the Ghost. ''Koban would be so proud if he saw you.''
Terryn knew he had to stay wary and realistic, but it was getting harder and harder to contain his excitement. Every Trooper had gathered, and The Captain truly felt unstoppable! Yet a sudden shadow loomed over them...If Terryn's initial hype wasn't enough, a familliar mech blitzed from the skies, piloted by an even more familiar Saiyan.
''I had a feeling you'd show up!'' Terryn shouted up at the Mecha with a brief fit of laughter. ''Can't say I blame you. This is some pretty good exposure for our campaigns, yeah?!''
Yeah, this officially sealed the deal. If Terryn was to lose this battle, against whoever might've still showed up, then he'd eat his Baotendo. The entire console. Y'know, assuming he hadn't died.
Yet through the brief silence that washed over them, something started to happen. Unannounced and sudden, the skies themselves seemed to...Open up? The dark clouds started to shift and part- the lingering, faint presence of evil that loomed across the city started to feel weaker as well. Terryn's expression grew wide and serious, instantly darting to Synth and Neo- their ritual hadn't started yet...! This... This could only mean one thing, right? Right?!
''T-The corruption! Do you all feel it?! It's weakening!''
The Captain turned in full to face his allies, wide-eyed and panicky. This could be their only shot at restoring the city! ''Synth, Neo! Hurry it up! We don't know how long it's gonna stay like this!'' Terryn shouted at the magical duo from afar, running over to them as he waved a hand outward, expression darting to his other Troopers. The fading corruption seemed too good to be true, and Terryn didn't trust it one bit. Not one bit. ''Can everyone else watch their backs?! This might be some dumb trap, or something!''
The Trooper skidded to a stop a few paces away from Synth and Neo, backs turned to them. He kept a somewhat loose stance as his gaze scanned across the city, still desolate and empty. All seemed well, although...
Unbeknownst to Terryn, they were not alone.

Saizomaru gave the captain a small smirk. Blue eyes shifted towards Terryn as he gazed at him from behind the drapes of his front bangs. "It's always best the stay calm in a heated situation," he responded. He began to twirl his electronic cigarette in forward circles around his finger. "Keeps ya level-headed. Lets you make sound decisions. Lets you think and plan things out. Don't worry—once you get as experienced as I am, you'll understand."
Saizomaru paused. He looked up in front of him to the streets ahead. Three other characters approached in unison—two of them he recognized; the third was a new face, but if they were with Neo and Frozone then they must be here to help.
"It's good to see you both here," he responded to Neo, as well as gesturing his good will to the arcosian that guarded her. Him and Frozone never got along, but it wasn't the time or place to be drudging up rivalries. He gave a glance towards Neo's bodyguard. "Be sure to keep them both safe. We're counting on you."
The other one—a young kid with long green hair—seemed cooperative enough. He gave him a smile and nodded. "Name's Saizomaru. Just call me Sai. Good to have you onboard."
There was another familiar face. Saizomaru sighed as the majin approached the rest of the team. He wondered what exactly she could do with her power. "Yeah, I remember you," he responded in a droll. "You shouldn't be here. But… I guess we have enough manpower to protect you."
More and more people began to join in. Some he had recognized, others he had not. But there was one in particular that caught his attention. She looked different, but he recognized that pale white face and long hair anywhere. As Banshee greeted him, he in turn reciprocated the notion.
"No way… It's you?" Saizomaru let out a chuckle before pushing himself off of the statue's base. He made his way over to her and looked down at her with a smile. "I'm glad to know that you followed my advice… in a lot of things." He paused for a moment. The name "Koban" made him hesitate. He saw the obituaries after the attack on Central City. He hummed, then placed a hand on the ghost's shoulder. "I never knew Koban as well as you probably have… but we'll both make him proud here today, a'ight?"
When all was said and done, Saizomaru awaited Terryn's orders. The captain, however, was not well versed in strategy. The android was about to give more specific instructions.
"Okay, guys; diamond formation!" he called out. "Terryn, you take point on Neo's twelve; Banshee, you're on their nine; Carro and LEO will be on their six; I'll be on their three."
He turned to those who remained. "Frozone, Bloom, blue guy in the green outfit—you're to stay close to Neo and her friend at all times. Should we fall here, you're our last line of defense."
God it felt weird giving out orders again.
He turned his head towards his captain. "That is, if that's okay with you, Captain?"

More and more people arrived to support them. The first was Synthesia, the living plant that she had met back when she was at Fukurou Forest. While Neo had noticed the brief glance that he threw towards Frozone, it didn't seem to bother him at all and continued to keep up his stoic look. She had expected that there were still people who hated arcosians out there, but perhaps one day he would be able to forge his own path and change their opinion of them. "Thank you for coming Synth. This will be much easier with your help."To her surprise, a friendly majin by the name of Bloom had also come. She hadn't recalled telling her about this journey either, after all, it was a message that was only told by the Pride Trooper. However, news spread fast and she wasn't exactly upset at her presence anyways when it was to protect her. "Thank you Bloom." She said to the majin with a warm smile. So far, it was clear that unlike what happened back in Satan City a few months ago, they were all going to be well prepared. However, similarly Neo was confused to the lack of opposition besides the city's brainwashed citizens. As they continued to wait for more people, Neo noticed another large energy signal which didn't come from those who were currently present followed by several smaller ones. Was that the opposition? However, the sound of a clearing throat caught the attention of those that were there. So, the stargoons were gone. That was a relief in the least to say. They wouldn't have to worry about anything for now unless there was some other person opposing her. To finish it all off, two more citizens had come. The first being a woman wearing the familiar Pride Trooper uniform. Neo had never seen her before, was she new? However, she would still promise to offer her assistance to protect them while they were in the midst of purifying the city. Then from the distance, a giant robotic orange cat jumped down. Neo and Frozone were baffled by this sudden appearance and took a step back into the arcosian's arms. However, a voice would assure them that they were on their side. Hesitantly, she would begin to move away from Frozone's comforting grasp before standing up straight herself. Everyone else here had confidence and courage, fitting for the liberators of Badman City. As one of its lead purifiers, she had to show the same courage as well. Turning towards Synth, Neo nodded, "Let's begin." Immediately, she would dump the contents of the satchel in her hand: a charcoal pencil, sage, a small container of salt and a chunk of a black gemstone. Just as she was about to draw the first stroke with her pencil, she noticed a shift in energy. The malicious energy, once strong would begin to fade. What was happening? Terryn also seemed to notice this shift and would urge them to hurry. At once, Neo followed his command. There wouldn't be enough time to draw the entire magic symbol by itself, she would have to create it by herself. Clasping her hands together, the doragon would then quickly move to slam them on the ground, allowing the magic within her body to inscribe the rune onto the ground in an instant. Handing the black gem to Frozone, she then would instruct him on what to do. "Crush the tourmaline and sprinkle them onto the outline of the rune." She ordered. At once he would do what he was told, crushing the gem in his hands until it was nothing more than a pile of fine dust in his hands. While he was busy sprinkling the gem on the symbol, Neo took the sage and blew a fiery breath, and instantly the area began to fill with the scent of burning sage. She would then hand the smoking herb to Synthesia, "Could you wave the sage around so that the smoke can cover the area around the symbol? I'm going to be sprinkling the salt over everything." Regardless of whether the bio-android would listen to her request, Neo immediately got to work with sprinkling the salt over the black dust that Frozone left on the circle. Turning towards the remainder of those who were there Neo shouted at them, "The preparations should be complete in a minute at most. Protect us once we really begin, this will take a few minutes to finish." While the doragon wasn't sure if anyone else would be coming, she silently prayed that everything would go well. They only had one chance after all.

| This City Of Ours |
Wow, there sure were lots of people who wanted to save Earth, huh?
Apart from his own gang of troopers, there were three others here who he didn't recognize. Some... blue human, and some pink human. Wait, no, that wasn't a human, that was a Majin. And hey, a gigantic robot! Wait, what? Synthesia blinked a few times at the hulking metal machine that was LEO. There was no way that was Eco-friendly, right? Whoever was in there was getting a stern talking to later.
But that was for later, and for now, some of the sky opened up. This was a good sign, and it seemed his teammates had the same idea. Neo got straight to work on her magic circle. Synthesia jumped a little at her flaming breath, and then took the sage tentatively. Why'd she pick him to do it? She knew he hated fire, and- he needed to get his priorities straight. He moved his fingers as far away from the fire as possible and waved the sage around as best he could, hopping over the circle several times over to spread the scent faster.
Synthesia scrunched his nose and gave his captain a dissatisfied look. "I don't sense anything around here for miles." Synthesia continued stretching his arms out as far as he could, running loops around the magic circle like a headless chicken. "Nothing could ever get past me. I bet the one who infected the city just, I dunno. Lost connection to her magic or something. Like, uh, when the T.V goes all grey! Yeah. Probably." Synthesia smiled, continuing to try his absolute best to spread the fire and not get burned in the process.
"C'mon, we'll be just fine. Nobody's stupid enough to attack all of us at once."
