Bloom’s PL: 10,000 | 30,000 Ki Suppression: Inactive (Reads as 10,000)
Oh hey. It was that crabby ghost lady. Bloom noted her arrival as well. She was wearing some weird super hero get up like a lot of the people here. She looked uncomfortable. She decided not to bother her. After all, Bloom didn’t want to get fussed at for simply being here. Plus, the shouting guy greeted her with more than enough enthusiasm for all of them put together. And then some. Really, why was he so dang energetic? Bloom shook her head. The one who did recognize actually did fuss at her for being present. Mister robot Saizomaru ranger guy. He even implied that they were gonna be protecting her. Damn, that kind of stung. At least, Neo was happy that she was here. She was fine. She was here to do the protecting. Bloom sighed and scratched the back of her head. She supposed that she was one of the weakest people here. And suppressing her power level didn’t really help matters. Another guy came to join them. Some robot cat thing? Shouting guy seemed to know him so that was all Bloom needed to know he wasn’t a threat. Which was nice. Looking up at Saizomaru as he began doling out orders that made only the littlest bit of sense to her, Bloom stuck close to Neo. It was only the mention of the blue guy in the green outfit that made her frown. What blue guy? Had she missed him? Bloom glanced around...and spotted Allium. Her eyes narrowed. “That guy…!” Bloom pointed at Allium, scowling. “He’s lying..! He attacked me when I got to this city…! He’s a bad guy…Don’t believe a word he says…” Stepping protectively between Neo and Allium, Bloom powered up quickly. Against her better judgement, she held off from immediately attacking. She figured that would break whatever formation it was that the others were trying to form. Still, there was a part of her just itching to blast him to pieces. Thankfully, the city’s hold on her was weakened. Maybe she had gotten used to it? Yeah, totally. Because demon boy here couldn’t possibly be telling the truth. Bloom clenched her fists tightly. Yeah, the impulse was really strong to beat his face into pulp. Allium

The sheer power of the forces that had gathered was overwhelming to the senses. He thought about when he had met with Chime and doubted that the planet could handle the evil forces at play if the dragon balls were created. Now he found himself wondering why they had not acted earlier. The presence of a uniformed force led him to feel confident that the city would be safe. A silver haired cyborg began giving everyone orders and Allium shrugged. It seemed he had been deputized. He didn’t have to walk among the vile anymore. He let out a deep breath.
"That guy…"
A familiar face was calling him out. His eyes widened with surprise as his gaze met with the pale majin. He had encountered her before, while he was posing as a villain. In an attempt to get her to leave Badman before it was too late he had told her that the family she was seeking had died. She had misunderstood this as Allium meaning he had killed them and went into a blind rage.
“W-Wait, you don’t understand!” Allium shouted putting his hand up and walking forward towards her with a look of fear in his cobalt eyes.

When they landed, Gelu opened up, asking what the plan was and what spurned this up. Ledinjin spoke, waving them over to the ship's planning table, "We've got a little over a half dozen high power level individuals in this area, ranging between 15 thou and 75 thou, the 75 thousand only detectable by scouter. Assuming it's a android or cyborg, we've gotta be extra careful. We are to invest-"
Thaw opened up, quite extensively out of the blue, that he encountered prior. The very first surmised all the others in line: the current captain of the Pride Troopers! No name given, but it was enough to explain who everyone else was... Including two new signatures that appeared on the scouters of the three and their ki senses. Specifically, Banshee and Carro! Also, it seemed Thaw had been doing a lot recently, considering his mention of a tournament and not giving any information on that earlier... Including also a former WTF soldier that defected and protecting something called the Lookout.
"So, we've got new Pride Troopers, an old Pride Trooper or two, and Carro Hofferson," Ledinjin surmised it altogether, before telling Thaw, "I need you to do two things for me in the future: Wrap things up with smaller details and focus on the key pointers. That being said, we can now coordinate something."
He stood up with crossed arms and ordered, "From what we can tell, they're here to quell whatever energy is manipulating the individuals in this city and the immediate area around. We're not going to stop them, but we are going to do is test this new captain and his Troops. If we win, we're going to proclaim ourselves as defenders of this city until they can come back and claim it back for this world!"
"... Why?"
"If they can defend this city, they can cover much more ground. Maybe even this whole planet," Ledinjin elaborated, "And if we can do that, we can focus on returning to Arcose after establishing an alliance with this world!"
Vic blinked, smiling confused at this.
"We also have to test how we each fair in this small group. So, here's the plan: Vicarous is gonna contact Carro, let him know that we're going to be testing this group. However, he is going to keep this secret and play a safeguard, preventing anyone from getting killed. We're gonna be going in and instigating a fight. You will go into their area with stealth. When I'm in their, distracting their biggest guys, you're each going to follow suit!"
It was a haphazard plan, but before Vic could proclaim it, Ledinjin was already headed out the hatch and leaping off to the next building over. He stammered, "This is stupid! Stupid!"
However, he followed suit after him, dialing into Carro's scouter. The moment he did, he uttered, "Carro, this is Vic! Ledinjin's doing this stupid test involving the new Pride Trooper guys and he's intending for them to be going lethal just to see how we also do!"
"It's complicated, Vic."
"AND IT IS STUPID," he shrieked, revealing their position nearby. At this point, Ledinjin raised his power level up sixfold, landing down in front of the group of Troopers with a smile on his face. Vicarous landed down beside him, bulking up as well and looking very uncomfortable with this plan.
"Pride Troopers," Ledinjin bellowed, "I am Ledinjin Wethridge Frost, leader of the Federation of Planets Rebels! It is good to see you are here to quell the energy corrupting this city and do not intend to stop that. However, I intend to challenge you for control of it. Are you capable of maintaining Koban's legacy?!"
Ledinjin looked at the crowd, seeing Banshee, Carro, Bloom, and Saizomaru were there. Vic, meanwhile, noticed the two Thaw mentioned and recognized them as the two that fell on that dog person a while ago! Though he was bulked up, the teen was on high alert. The old Arcosian acknowledged the two, assuming they had joined the tropers saying, "Bloom, Saizo, and Banshee! Let us see how you fair against me... With no restraints!"
He first rushed toward Saizomaru, the ground cracking underneath. By the time he was on Saizo, he was aiming to nail him in the head with his foot and launch him down the street. If hit, he'd be buried into the street, rather than be smacked into the building. Ledinjin intended to make him and the familiar human near Carro focus onto him. However, he wasn't intending to separate from the crew. Vic, meanwhile, maintained his position near by. He wasn't feeling good about this fight.
Quick summary: Ledinjin gives the plan to challenge the Pride Troopers for the city, not intending to stop the cleansing! He directs a kick to Saizomaru after immediately entering his true form. Meanwhile, despite entering his bulked form, Vicarous hangs back. He had notified Carro via scouter frequency what went down, but was a bit too slow.

THIS CITY OF OURS

Banshee started towards Allium and Bloom, holding her hands up between them. They seemed at odds, but as far as she was concerned, not wasn't the time to fight. Anything that could disrupt the cleansing would need to be prevented at all costs, lest their work go awry. And every minute they spent in this cursed city while the magic still lingered was dangerous, regardless of whether its original conquerors showed up or not. "Hold on, you two. I don't know what the matter is, but we can settle this after the magic has been undone. It's too dangerous to--"She cut off at the sound of Ledinjin's voice. At first, it was music to her ears. They had fought together against the monstrous Banzo in Central City, after all. But his words turned whatever excitement she had at seeing her old comrade-in-arms into confusion, and immediately after that, anger. This man who claimed to protect Earth now intended to exploit their own efforts to cleanse the city, only to claim it for their own? This couldn't be allowed to pass. "Ledinjin," Banshee floated up into the air, pale energy beginning to swell around her as she began to release her power. It was much more substantial than it had been those weeks ago in the defense of Crop Co, but it still wouldn't be enough to handle someone of his stature on her own. "You have no right to claim control of this city. We have come for one purpose, and one purpose alone, and that is to free the people here. I refuse to allow them to pass from one foreign tyrant to another."Her eyes narrowed. "I thought you were a good man. I thought you were on our side. But if this is just an excuse for you to capture a city, then it's clear to me I was mistaken. This people of this city will choose their own path once the cleaning has been completed. Neither the World Trade Fleet nor the 'Federation of Planets Rebels' will claim dominion over these people. Our cause is to return to these people their own lives, not to lord over them ourselves."
"... And if you intend to seize this land, then it's clear you really are no better than the Fleet itself. You do your people a disservice, Ledinjin Wethridge Frost. When it mattered most, you revealed yourself to be little more than a snake in the grass."
Banshee activates her Haunting (x3P) and boosts to 109,500 PL.

Okay, well the plan seemed simple enough. Stay out of sight until they were needed and then go crazy, just don't kill anyone. Gelu could handle that, his eye scanned the numbers on his scouter. He could take most of the individuals gathered there unless they had some sort of way to increase their power like the earthling he fought some time ago did. Still even with that, in his true form he wasn't exactly a push over and he'd grown in strength much since then. "Ok, well if this is how you want this to go down..." Gelu said with some worry in his voice. He could see why Vic was against the plan. They were outnumbered, even if they had heavy hitters on their side, if one of them managed to get overwhelmed it would be over. Not to mention he wasn't sure if these guys were playing with the same no killing policy. Not that it mattered anymore, as Ledinjin had leaped from the hatch going down to the group below switching to his true form in the process. "Yeah, this is happening. See you out there man," he said to his brother as he flew out of the ship and high up into the sky, hiding behind the clouds while he kept his power down. He could just charge in with Ledinjin and Vicarious, but he wanted to see who was who first. Plus the element of surprise had it's advantages. As he scanned the group below he saw a familiar face, the human he had fought in the North City. What was he... a Pride Trooper? Right, Led had mentioned the names from earlier, he should have realized. The human had increased his strength since. This wasn't going to be an easy fight for them, they'd need to play their hand correctly if they wanted a shot at winning this. "Ok Led, let's see what the legendary rebel's got," he said more to himself than anyone else as he waited for the fight to start. Thaw

At this point Thaw couldn't believe that Frost wanted him to watch from behind the scenes while he went up against them. He raised an eyebrow and casually ignored that request for he didn't want the boss to go in alone. Frost, Vic, and now Gelu were gone from the ship, leaving Thaw inside as he kept his hands in his robe pockets and started to sigh to himself. "It's time to show Frost that I have become stronger since our training... That I am not the same person who couldn't land a hit. I will show him my strength."He took off his robe and hurled it against the wall as he adjusted his scouter in place and entered his true form while still having his ki suppressed. Thaw exiting the ship rather quickly, he flew straight to where everyone else was and before he could be visibly spotted by anyone, he vanished. He had appeared right next to Allium as he casually patted his shoulder upon arrival. "Allium, its so glad to meet you again. I hope you didn't disappoint me and actually won that tournament that we both were in."Whether he replied or not, Thaw made his way directly to where Captain Terryn was and getting rid of his ki suppression and showing his power to all those around him. Looking to the captain with his arms to his back. "We are here to clean this city of the chaos that has been brewing. and I see that Frost is challenging you lot for a fight, well then, I get dibs on the captain."His sharp eyes making eye contact with the captain himself and walking over to him until he was now within arm reach of him. "We met once before have we not?"He vanished from his position and appearing at Terryn's right side and sending a roundhouse kick to his face in an attempt to send him straight to a nearby building, if successful, Thaw would follow him and follow it up with a barrage of punches to his chest and for them to be in a secluded area. "I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but if he wants to test your fighting abilities in order to protect this planet, it has to be done. If I were on this planet at the time of WTF's assault on this planet, I can guarantee you that they wouldn't have succeeded."254,928 Pl // True Form Activated // Ki Suppression Deactivated // 3/3 KP Carro Hofferson

CARRO'S PL: 50 | L.E.O'S PL: 160,000 (x4P)
"Pssssh, right on there." Carro commentated back to Terryn- this was indeed good exposure for them both... But, soon enough, the Captain's attention darted to the fading clouds above. "Funny thing, really..." The saiyan began. "I was out here monitoring the city earlier. This has been going on for a bit- the energy fluctuating on and off and all. I don't know what's up with it or why it's happening. But good for us?" He shrugged from his pilot's seat. With Saizo's orders, Carro would nod. Now was not the time for snark or sass. The android, despite his apparent beef with the CEO, was a good enough man the saiyan could at the very least trust strategically in battle. LEO positioned herself at six-o-clock as purifying magic bean to flow into the city. The skies rumbled, flashes of white soaring through the dark clouds like lightning. "Woah." Carro blinked, eyeing the clouds as they churned and shook unlike any storm he'd ever seen. And soon enough, the purplish energy began to seep out of the ground. Collumns of it shot into the air, fading into white and dissipating into nothing when they reached the sick storm clouds above. A consistent rumbling sound, like an approaching train that would never come, echoed. While his eyes were trained on the spectacle of a sight, LEO's beeping tore Carro's attention away. The majin pointed and accused an odd blue humanoid, the latter of whom grew frantic. "W-wait!" The saiyan interjected, motioning LEO's claw between the two. "Uh, hello, sir and miss!" The feline's head crouched down. "You have quite the concern and point, miss Majin. If this guy is evil, then..." Carro shook his head. "Well, mister... uh... whoever you are, I say we let you off the hook for now. However!" He raised a finger. "If you do try anything and actually turn out to be against us, then we won't be so nice. Capiche?" LEO's claw raised open and extended to offer a very large handshake. If the hybrid below took it, LEO's massive claws would gently wrap around his palm with a light shake before releasing. "Well, with that settled, we should--" The Majin Bros theme tune echoed from LEO's speakers. "Ohp, got a call. One second!"
"Heya, Vic! You won't BELIEVE what's going on here." "Wait wait wait wait, slow down. Ledinjin is-??" "...Are you KIDDING ME!??! What's he THINKING!?!" "Yes, it is VERY stupid!" Carro left his speakers on by accident, allowing the group outside to overhear his conversation with the Heran on the other end. Rubbing his temple, he'd growl and turn back to the phone. "I mean, he's not here and doing it now, is he? He can't be that--" Oh, there they were. "...Idiotic." Carro sucked in a slow breath, clasping his hands together as the Arcosian rebel put on his guise as opposition. Banshee was quick to snap back with common sense, thankfully. "...Yeeeeah, I'm spilling the beans."
"There's no need for that guise of yours. You want to test us? Normally, fine. Fine. But..." The saiyan threw his arms into the air, despite nobody being able to see him from within LEO. "...Here?! NOW?! While we're trying to fix this poor city?!? I can't think of a worse time--!" Regardless, it seemed the Arcosian would rush Saizo. "If you want to maintain SOME sense of decency, then cut this out NOW. We can fight and do your stupid test LATER if you're that persistent!" Carro took a deep breath to compose himself, glancing to Terryn behind him. Certainly, he'd have quite the rant also. "...And who put you in the position to be the one to deem us worthy of anything?" Ledinjin was a nice guy before, but he was an outsider. He was fond of the Earth, but in the end his goal and purpose wasn't aligned with the planet herself. It was like a tourist questioning the police's right to apprehend someone! Still, the saiyan would remain silent for a short while to allow Terryn to speak. ...But there was something that needed clearing up first if they were still going to fight here and now. "If we're ACTUALLY still going to fight, then let's move out of this city. You know, away from buildings FILLED with innocent civillians, away from potential millions worth of property damage and deaths that I'll have to pay for, likely." Carro grumbled, turning to eye plenty of fleeing civilians below, faltering and screaming in a mixture of fear, pain, and alien terror as the corruption was whisked out of their forms. And then, another Arcosian approached, attempting to rush Terryn! Carro would usually stand by, confident in the Captain's abilities, but... Thaw's words stuck a chord in the saiyan. Clenching a fist, Carro would slam a hand onto a large button beside him. In a flash, LEO's form would disperse, condensing down as a burst of light shot forwards, meandering between Terryn and Thaw! "You absolute, dull CLOD." A hand would attempt to grip onto Thaw's foot before it hit Terryn, a sharp kiai surging from the clash. Shaking hands just barely held back the attack, the blazing energy around the small silhouette that intervened flashing and dispersing. Behind the light was Carro himself, donning LEO's body as a set of armor. Orange ki flared from the garbs' joints and lights fiercely as the saiyan glanced back. If Thaw went through with that attack, he'd have sent Terryn right into the building behind them! Who knew how many people were in there...? "Someone as disrespectful as yourself has NO right to decide who's worthy!" Carro yelled, still struggling to keep Thaw's foot away from Terryn. "The people who died that day were friends! Family! WARRIORS!" His gaze turned stone cold with seething anger.
"So don't you DARE disrespect their deaths and our grief, our fear and our struggle with your own superiority complex." With one last shout and push, Carro would attempt to shove Thaw back, glancing quickly between the green and blue Arcosians. In spite of his seething anger, the saiyan weakling didn't want to fight. Not here. "...Last chance to back off and be smart about this."

Saizomaru PL: 225,000 (Overdrive Active)
If today couldn't get any more hectic, the majin and the small kid in the green gi were starting to have their own little beef between them. While Bloom had accused the other of being an evil being who had attacked the city before, Allium was doing what he could to stifle such accusations. Saizomaru, for the most part, hadn't a care. Not for the moment anyway. "Hey, you can solve your dispute after we're done here," he called out to the two of them. His eyes then looked towards the blue boy. "And if you are evil as Bloom says you are… Well, I'll give you a ten second head start."
Then, suddenly, a voice had come from the cockpit of Carro's mechanical partner. It wasn't a voice that he recognized, but it sounded hurried, agitated, and dire. It warned of an approaching force lead by Ledinjin.
Where have I heard that name before…?"
It didn't take too long for the android to get his answer. Three humanoid silhouettes began to make their way towards them. It wasn't until they were close did he manage to recognize one of them. With a hum, he turned and looked up at Ledinjin, who now had a much different appearance. His power was in full view too.
"Ah! So the moose head has come to help," he called out. "You're missing your horns though. Hope you didn't get poached. I see you brought some friends, too."
However, it wasn't the reunion he had expected. As Ledinjin announced that he and his comrades would battle for control over the already-distraught city, Saizomaru's face turned a grim expression. His eyes narrowed at the arcosian.
"You pick now? Now of all times to start a fight? I suggest you reconsider your stance—quickly."
There was no reconsideration. There was only a high speed arcosian with a leg extended to drive its foot into the android's face. Quickly Saizomaru shot a hand up, palm catching the sole of Ledinjin before he was pushed across the concrete several meters back. But he took his opponent with him, his fingers grasped tightly between the arcosian's long, finger-like toes. He wasn't going anywhere. Yet.
"Huh. This is a new feeling—pride in someone else's power," he admitted as he stood, his armor black as pitch with his hair a charcoal grey. He needed to activate his Overdrive as soon as he felt the power in the arcosian's kick.
His free hand lifted up to his lips, the nozzle of his electronic cigarette placed between them before he took a long, deep inhale of its vapour. He paused, then a stream of smoke poured from his nostrils like a boiling kettle. It was accurate. He was at his boiling point.
"Unfortunately it's being overshadowed by all of this UNYIELDING RAGE!" he cried out as he placed the contraption back into his leg compartment. Now, there was only a swirling ball of transparent ki in his hand.
And he would drive that ki into Ledinjin's chest.

The preparations for the ritual was going well. It wasn't long until the magic rune was filled with the gem and the salt and the scent of sage was in the air. Caught up too in the moment of things, Neo forgot to consider the fact that Synthesia might not have been the best person to spread the sage, yet despite this, he still did a pretty nice job of doing so. "Everything's ready now!" She called out, turning towards Frozone. "Guard us, we're going to get started with the ritual now." Shakily, Neo got onto her knees before placing her hands on the curly edge of the rune.
"Synthesia, do you have any magical abilities? It doesn't matter what kind so long as it isn't dark, although if it's life or light related it will be better." She wondered. It wasn't impossible for her to do it by herself, but it would surely take longer and require more effort and concentration out of her. Pointing towards the other side of the rune, towards the tip of the line that bisected the figure, Neo continued. "Let your magic flow in the shape of the line." She ordered. Without hesitating further, she would channel her own magic through the rune, trying her best to allow it to curve around the smooth turns it had. Soon, the outer part of the rune began to glow a yellow light. If needed she could extend her power to also cover the line if needed.
Trouble soon arrived. The first of which being that demonic looking man from earlier. Bloom didn't seem to be fans of him, in fact claiming him to be evil. Neo frowned, before looking at the main with doubt in her eyes. She didn't have time to judge for herself, so she took Bloom's word for it. She did want to protect them all. "Frozone, if he tries something to put a stop to this now." She ordered. The arcosian nodded before walking towards him. He was ready to chase him away with an attack of his own when suddenly more people arrived.
A red arcosian with black horns arrived, claiming he was going to challenge them for control for the city. Following him were two other arcosians, one which she recognized as Thaw. What were they doing? Why were they challenging them to a fight, for the control of the city nonetheless? They weren't here to control the city, they wanted to free it from their influence. She couldn't just leave her spot here though; she had to keep the flow of magic constantly streaming or else the ritual wouldn't work. "Please stop them." She begged Frozone. "This conflict has no point to it. Use what I taught you and try to resolve it peacefully. Only fight back in self-defense."
There was uncertainty present within his eyes, unsure of whether he would even be able to complete such a task but Frozone agreed. Shifting targets, he would turn towards the arcosians and begin to speak although with some hesitation. "Um, my fellow brethren, why are you fighting us? We are not your enemies, and we just want to free the city not fight, I guess. We don't want to enslave the city, just free it. We want to leave it to the city, not claim it as our own. We do not wish to conquer the city." Discomfort was clear upon his face as he attempted to try and convince the others not to fight. Frozone turned towards Thaw and began to speak. "Didn't we declare each other... um br- brothers in arms." He said, having difficulty speaking the words. "We should be fighting together, not against each other. So please, stop fighting already. There is no point."
Of course, there was a high probability that they wouldn't listen to him, due to a variety of reasons. As a result, Frozone had prepared himself for battle just in case. Sometimes, if people didn't listen, they would have to force them to do so. It was simply how things went. As a former soldier of the WTF, he had first-hand experience with this. However, regardless of what trouble he got in, he still would never abandon his duty of protecting Neo as she continued the ritual.

"How dare you."
Behind the more powerfull allies, behind the people in robot suits and spandex, behind where the ritual was taking place, the vitriol-filled Child of Nature couldn't keep in his absolute rage at the events that had just taken place. He entered into such a blind rage that he more or less completely missed what Neo had said to him. He turned his head to her, his face contorted in pure anger. "One second, Neo. I can't purify the city when there's trash right here, in front of me."
He jabbed his finger towards the nearest Arcosian, who happened to be Thaw. The same Arcosian who had tried to attack Terryn. He had tried to attack Terryn. Thankfully, the robot protected his beloved Captain. Even if it wasn't Eco-friendly, it sure was effective. Though his Captain was unharmed, would he forget about the deed? Absolutely not. Synthesia wanted to throw up. What a despicable kind of breed. What a waste of an entire race. He marched up towards the trio, their power level absolutely dwarfing his by several times.
That didn't matter, though. They could be ten times stronger, fifty times stronger, a hundred times stronger, to Synthesia, it made no difference. Strong scum was the same as normal scum. He marched up to Thaw, who's kick nearly just landed into the chest of his one human friend. He stuck out his finger towards the figure, the look of seething rage on his face palpable.
"You." The word couldn't be said with any more hate- so uncharacteristic of the whimsical child it was jarring. "Test our fighting ability? Make sure we can protect this planet? Who gave you the right. Who." He spat out the last word, continuing to break off from his little group of troopers. Continuing to break off from his bubble of safety. Some things were more important than safety.
"You have no right to test anything." He jabbed his finger into Thaw's chest, gazing up at the warrior with fierceness befitting his title.
"How about you get off my planet?"

Bloom's PL: 10,000 | 30,000 Ki Suppression: Inactive (Reads as 10,000)
Bloom obstinately ignored Led or Frost or whatever he preferred to be called as he arrived. What he was doing was not okay by any stretch of the imagination, but she figured Sai and the rest could take care of that. Banshee, some guy in a robot suit, even Sai told her not to bother with the demon that she had her sights set on. The bastard that had proudly claimed to have killed her family. Their words fell on deaf ears. They didn’t know. They weren’t there. At least Neo believed her.
“Neo…”
Bloom glanced back at her friend, managing a smile. The demon guy was a lot stronger than her. She knew that. She wasn’t going to let that stop her though. Bloom had made a promise to Neo to protect her, and a promise to herself that she’d kill this blue bastard. Still, there was the very real chance that she wouldn’t be coming back, so now was the time to say something.
“Just...stay safe… Counting on you...”
Bloom uttered a mental apology to the others as she set her sights on the blue demon. Fire boiled in her body. This was it. First thing’s first. In a burst of speed, Bloom dashed off toward Allium. Her arms extended, wrapping around his body and grappling him. Swinging her whole body around, Bloom hurled him far down one of the adjacent streets to distance him from Neo and the others.
“You’re mine, you bastard…! You can’t fool me…! I’ll make you pay...for everything…”
Striding down the street, Bloom hurled a pink ball of ki in Allium’s general direction to distance him further. She raised a hand to her face to hide her expression. She didn’t want anyone to see it. A devilish smile cut across her face like a knife, a delighted glee sparkling in her eyes. What was wrong with her? Her anger had transformed into giddiness. She wanted to hurt him. Badly. Even with the general gloom of the city subsiding somewhat, Bloom still felt herself slipping to its lingering influence. Slipping away from herself. She couldn't stop herself. She couldn't stop thinking of all of the things that she would do to that blue bastard.
Twist. Rend. Maim. Cripple. Blast. Burn. Punch. Bite. Suffer. Ruin. Frighten. Devour.
Devour?
“Heh...Hehe… Kikikiki…!”
Initiating a split with Allium!

Many of the others tried to convince them to calm down. Allium took a deep breath, thinking that they had successfully mediated the situation. For a brief moment his attention was taken away from the majin’s anger as intruders came upon the scene. Was it the WTF? No. He recognized one of them. It was Thaw… from the tournament. What was happening here?
Respite ended as Bloom called his attention again as she rushed towards him. He brought his hands up as if to surrender but it was too late.
“If you just stop I can explai-” Allium began as Bloom wrapped around him and hurled him down the street. He landed in the bed of a pickup truck that slid forward against the force of his crash into a fire hydrant that exploded upwards with a torrent of water. He stood up and scowled. The majin was not relenting. He jumped away to avoid the majin’s ki blast, which slammed into the truck and caused it to explode into a ball of flames. Shrapnel peppered the half-demon’s clothes, tearing small holes in his gi.
Something didn’t seem right about the majin, but there was no time to give pause and evaluate the decision. As she moved ever closer her words turned from vengeance to insane laughter. Allium tensed up and watched her sharply with his cobalt eyes. He turned and shot a blast of emerald ki into the roadway, uncovering a rancid smell and the opening to the cities sewer system.
“The city has changed you, hasn’t it?” Allium said. He glanced at the majin, and then back at the hole he had made. He lept, descending into the darkness of the sewers. He began rushing down the long narrow chamber, trying to put distance between himself and the mad majin. He hoped there would be less collateral damage this way as well. He didn’t want to fight Bloom but she wasn’t leaving him much choice.
Split with Bloom accepted.

Post by Ledinjin Frost on Nov 4, 2018 10:05:12 GMT -6
Banshee was livid with Ledinjin, showing that display of power of her's from before and calling him no better than the Fleet. She didn't have an idea of what was going on, but Carro did and explained so to them! There was so much talking on this battlefield about Ledinjin's unprecedented action that all surmised to one question: Why now of all times? Thaw was in the midst of engaging their Captain, only to be hardily blocked by Carro, which brought the talking to a near close. Even Sai was confused by this, but he at least didn't speak much... Although, this was due to Ledinjin's engagement on him! He blocked the attack with a quick increase of his energy and found it time to smoke an electronic cigarette. A compliment about Ledinjin's power was given before expressing anger and tried ramming a powerful ball into Ledinjin's chest. To respond, Ledinjin brought his tail up with a great amount of power endowed to it and struck the base of Saizomaru's wrist to turn the attack on the angry cyborg! The energies clashed for a moment, but Ledinjin would win this struggle by just enough. His remaining energy in his tail would cause Saizo to jab himself in the face and release Ledinjin. 'He's tough, for sure,' Ledinjin thought to himself, landing on his feet with fists next to his hips, 'If this were a one on one fight that got drawn out, I could win this. However, we're not alone here...'"Let me make this clear right now to you all," Ledinjin spoke aloud, his visual attention maintained to Saizo, "There is no better time to test you all than right now! You all just asked why we're doing this and may I remind you all that Banzo had turned on everyone due to some technology that altered his brain somehow, which is not so different than here. You must learn to not hold your punches in a dire circumstance or protect each other, should one of you turn against your will..."Another heavy crash happened, attracting Ledinjin's eyes for just a moment. Bloom was engaging the blue skinned, green scaled man in the green gi and had gone down below the street. They were turning on each other, but Ledinjin couldn't sense that latent presence that he sensed in Davis and the others who came to this city. However, he couldn't just let it slide. He called out to Vicarous, "Vic, keep an eye on those two over there. If things go south, knock them out.""Oh, for sure, while you go act like a dumb arse hyped on Brenchian Dust Plums," Vic angrily spat back, "I'll do that, but also make sure you don't ruin the place and terrify the civilians!""... So you better fight your hardest against us! Thaw, focus fire the cyborg!"Ledinjin was intending to put things into their favor. Saizomaru was the most dangerous adversary on the field right now, but they also had Carro and Leo, Banshee, that Arcosian that knew Thaw, and the new Pride Trooper Captain that Thaw tried to hit that seemed to be spacing out to worry about. Gelu had yet to make his move yet and was keeping to whatever shadows or roof top he was at, so they at least had him pocketed. Vic, however, didn't seem he was intent on helping that fight, so having him watch over Bloom and her opponent was the best option. Countering [N1] Force Palm with Eps Purah Kahnsh (Fist Technique, N1) focused through the tail! Eps Purah Kahnsh (Fist Technique, N1) has a pl of 97,120 and clashes with the [N1] Force Palm's 75,000. Being only roughly 77% of Eps Purah Kahnsh (Fist Technique, N1), my technique goes through and deals 22,120 to Saizomaru, via rping that the palm is being redirected to Saizomaru's face with the amount of power packed into Ledinjin's empowered tail whip! Ledinjin, from there, lands and gives his reasoning before ordering a reluctant Vicarous to play overwatch on Bloom and Allium. Vic chooses to make sure the battles Ledinjin and Thaw are having won't be threatening the civilians. Ledinjin KP: 2/3 from 3/3

THIS CITY OF OURS| Banshee's PL: 109,500 (Base: 36,500 - x3 Modifier) |
Banshee just stared at Ledinjin as he offered his explanation. It fell completely flat to her, and she just shook her head in complete and utter disbelief. The ruse had been revealed now, but that almost made all of this worse. They were in the middle of an operation to rescue a city from a brainwashing spell, and this was the time he had chosen to ‘test them.’ An ambush in hostile territory that threw into question the entire cleaning, all for some ill-conceived game. She fumed at the thought, and so her attention became locked on the Arcosian. She barely noticed the Majin’s descent, or the fight breaking out nearby. She had her target now. “You have no right to test us. At all.” she glared daggers at her chosen foe. “I don’t know if you’re lying or whether you’re just so over-the-top stupid that this makes sense to you, but we’re trying to save lives here. If you wanted to play school-teacher, you do it on your own time. You don’t interrupt something on this scale, of this import, for your own brain-dead aims. Do you know how easy it would be for a blast to go awry and strike the doragon, effectively damning these people to their fate? Do you know how easy it would be for one of your friends to go a little too far and kill a bystander... or an entire apartment complex? Did the fight against Banzo teach you nothing?"“No, this makes no sense whatsoever,” she concluded, ethereal energy beginning to swell all around her. Whether or not she had the power in her ghostly form to duel effectively with Arcosians or not, this was the mantle she had chosen. And this man now stood contrary to everything she had come to believe. “Before I stood against the oozaru in Central City, I believed this world’s greatest plague were false heroes and reckless defenders that placed their own personal glory above the lives of those they claimed to defend. Captain Koban proved to me that he was unlike these: that he was a true hero, and that his aims were as pure as he made out…” at that, her words turned to venom. She had never been good at hiding her emotion, and the anger she bore towards this man was as plain as day. “But you? You’ve chosen to disregard the well-being of this city, putting countless innocents at risk and threatening the entire plan to save them from mental anguish, all for the sake of interjecting yourself here. I don’t believe for a minute your motives are pure: they’re just too pointless to be.”"The only real explanation here is that you were just so upset that you weren’t going to get to be the center of attention that you planned this ambush on your flimsy logic. You have no right to test us, Ledinjin Frost, because you have revealed your true nature today. You are a self-absorbed snake masquerading as a ‘rebel’. But by your actions, you are no better than those you pretend to oppose.” She looked aside to the other Arcosians at that, intent on making it clear her condemnation extended to them as well. “At least the World Trade Fleet is honest about its superiority complex.”She had far more to say, but the fight was already breaking out around her, and it wouldn’t wait for her to air her grievances. Without waiting another moment, she raised her hand to the sky and formed a spiralling, chaotic disc of white and red ki. It grew in size and strength for just a few, precious seconds before she took one step forward and hurled it with all her might, sending it straight towards Ledinjin. She would loathe to admit it, but it felt pretty good to attack the Arcosian here, after everything that had come to light in the past couple of minutes. The blades of the disc shore through the pavement as it coursed through the air towards him, curving onto its side before it launched upwards at him. She wasn’t going to pull her punches now: she had made her feelings clear. Now it was time to put action behind them.
Banshee uses her [N1] Nightmare Scythe. 36,135 PL damage incoming to Ledinjin.

The scene below was going pretty much as Gelu expected, aside from a few odd bits here and there. Led's fight had escalated, the man he had chosen to fight had increased his energy three fold, just like the captain of the troopers had done against Gelu himself. It seemed the earthlings were more than capable of matching their strength, again he wasn't sure why Led wanted to do this, it was troublesome, and they seemed really pissed off. He moved carefully above the fight, staying hidden among the clouds as he concealed his energy, biding his time and seeing who he would choose as his target. Thaw had gone after the one they called Terryn, but happened to be stopped by... it was that little saiyan that went crazy the last time he was here. But his power level had only been 50... Ah, mechanical enhancements. Gelu smiled, he never saiyans had a knack for sciences. Still that situation seemed to be a bit full, he knew it would've ended up like this. Ledinjin was calling for Thaw to move to the man he was fighting. It seemed he wanted to take him out quickly, but Thaw was surrounded at the moment, as a little green headed guy walked up to him yelling. Although, it shouldn't be much of a problem for Thaw. Out of the corner of his eyes, he took note of the Majin and blue demon looking character fighting off in the distance. Trouble in their numbers? Well that was a help for them, perhaps he'd go kill two birds with one stone? No it wasn't necessary, they were essentially out of the picture already. By process of elimination, Gelu determined the other Arcosian on the scene to be his only other option. With a sigh and a shake of his head he disappeared in a flicker and reappeared in front of the Arcosian. "Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Gelu." He waved a hand and glanced over his shoulder at the fighting going on behind him. "Yeah sorry about this, he's determined to make sure you guys can handle high pressure situations." Returning his attention to the two before him he continued to speak, "Yeah, so we don't actually want to interrupt the cleansing ceremony or whatever it is that you got going on here, but he is asking us to make sure your battle strength is appropriate." With a huff of breath he stretched his neck and flexed his hands. "How bout we dance somewhere away from the girl and let her do her job unhindered. You and I will go blow for blow, think of it as a spar."Gelu would wait to hear his response if he said yes, they'd go somewhere more fitting, if he declined the fight Gelu would simply rush the Arcosian and push him out of out the city before proceeding to kick him away. He didn't really have much of a choice in the matter as far as fighting went. Gelu just thought he'd at least offer him the courtesy of choosing where he wanted to do this. Thaw
